Smashie's in Cheshire West and Chester

Just Eat told us our delivery was on time and delivered when it wasn't. So we had to call the takeaway and they fobbed us off saying the delviery was 5 mins away. No point in having an estimated delviery time, if you can't trust it.

Late and one of the burgers are missing

Right, firstly, this is the freshest, most tastiest double cheeseburger you will get in Chester. It is better than McDonald’s, it is better than Five Guys and it wipes the floor with Buger King. They are absolutely second to none. Above all else, they delivered it all during a bomb scare. Won’t go anywhere else. 10/10 service.

Waited over two hours for this order for it to arrive cold, do not recommend

I found the burgers pretty small but it was nice & I didn't get the Ketchup I ordered which was 50p per sachet. The milkshakes just tasted like cream. The food was also cold.

Excellent burger - really tasty on a very good bun. Would skip turkey rashers in future, but everything else was spot on. Good curly fries too!

Better than most places in Brum! Their smashed burgers are full of flavour A really good spot, especially given there aren't many burger places in Chester. Wait times are also really quick and staff are very friendly. Prices are very fair.

Every time I order from these guys the quality is ALWAYS 100%. They just keep 'Smashing' top quality. If i dont order Chinese i will always come to these Guys.

Food as always is really tasty, but it's always nearly cold when we receive it and has to be heated up. Guessing this is an issue with delivery as I would expect it to be hot when sent out. Love the food just wish it would arrive hot.

A bit disappointed tonight. First time I’ve ever been disappointed with Smashie’s. Think it’s because I pre-ordered due to usual long delivery times. Food was late, even though I ordered early. It had clearly been waiting a while under a heat lamp. Buns were incredibly wet/soggy. Lettuce had lost its crunch. Fries were cold and dry & onion rings soggy from condensation in carton. I would use Smashie’s again but I will never order in advance again.

the food was nice it was just cold, sauce was spilt over cheese bites which ruined it as we didn’t like the sauce.

Burgers are phenomenal! This place is definitely worth a try and the staff are lovely and very hard working you can see everything being cooked in front of you as it ha an open kitchen.

The food was fine. The problem was that there were 6 small children sitting inside the shop and throwing fries at the customers and me. After I confronted them, they only continued. The staff did nothing. They should have kicked them out for bad behavior. Unfortunate visit, first time in UK.

Ordered here for the first time last night as had a menu amd thought everything looked delicious. Food was REALLY disappointing, bbq wings were horrible, the skin was chewy and they tasted plastic-y. That was the only thing my partner ordered for himself to eat thinking they were going to be nice but after smelling them he couldn't even bring himself to bite one. Had to give him my fries I'd ordered which were bland and cold apart from the few on the top that had paprika on them. Burger wasn't that great either. Bit annoyed we paid £22 for burger, fries, 5 wings and 2 drinks. Very very overpriced for what it is.

One of the best smash burgers I’ve had the burger was amazing. It was cooked perfectly but could do something with the fries, maybe a seasoning. but overall it was really nice. I would really recommend it to all Smashburger lovers to try this place.

The food I received was not worth £26. The mozzarella sticks were £6, barely warm. The wings didn't have much flavour. Only decent thing was the zinger burger.

- Paid in advance over the phone - Delivery quoted: 40mins-1 hr - Actual Delivery 1hr 30mins - Did not answer my call at 1hr after order. Called from another number after a bit and when answered got told the typical response " Sorry we got busy". - I asked for my refund which was not responded to instead they apologised and offered to make up by: (i) adding extra to original order (ii) making the food fresh When food turned up: - Food was cold. LIED that they made it fresh as order was delivered within 20mins of last call. - BBQ Wings were chewy and extra cold. - Nothing extra added to make up as promised. Suggestion: When someone makes an order you already know your capacity & commitments. Please do not either take more orders if above your handling limit or just tell them when you can actually deliver so they can decide accordingly. As a result you do not have to lie & make empty promises.

Wow! The burgers here are outstanding as is pretty much all there food. I used to be a Five Guys person until I tried Smashies. The best.

i’ve been ordering from here for the past few years never had a problem with the food or service but last night i’ve never had such awful service from anywhere i ordered three burgers a chicken burger stacker and a single the single was supposed to have no cheese no sauce and it came with both of them on would not recommend if you want your food how you ordered it and won’t recommend if you don’t want terrible customer service

One of the best burgers I have ever had. Juicy and so tasty, amazing sauce. Staff really friendly. Family business. Great recommendation from the Moxy hotel around the corner. Only one table so it’s a take away or get it delivered (I guess). We ordered and took back to the Moxy.

The milkshakes were more like trying to drink cream through a straw and barely tasted of anything and the delivery time was an hour on 2 milkshakes. I love Smashies food but was really disappointed with the milkshakes.

First time ordering here and it not disappoint! absolutely beautiful, all fresh and piping hot. Pots of sauce expensive for the size but so worth it for the taste. Will definitely order again!

Food was perfect, only problem was delivery took too long so we had to go collect (~45min walk), despite that though the food was still perfect upon return. Definitely recommended.

Picked up food from here a few times during a stay at the Moxy next door and were not disappointed! As with most smash burger joints the burgers may not look the best (because they are smashed) but they tasted great. Judging by the wait time and watching them work they are popular with the locals which is always a great sign. Highly recommend if you're craving a burger!

My food was never delivered. I called smashies and they were very confused and said they had no orders for my address. the call ended. I checked the app it says my order was delivered. I checked outside but there was nothing there. I called back a second time and they said that the driver had been dispatched and claimed it was left on my door step because I was not answering my phone. I never received a phonecall from them in the first place. they said they can't do anything else about this!! :(

Great burger for my husband. He said one of the best he has ever had. The pricing was reasonable. The restaurant was very clean and the staff very friendly. He was happy the location was open late.

Driver late by 15 mins then tells me forgot milk shake will tell the shop not returned with milk shake we are now at 9pm! The delivery time needs to get alot better it’s really poor service!

Great meal cooked right in front of your eyes as you wait. Puts Mcdonalds to shame. They actually serve an incredibly hot delicious food with a professional manner.

Absolutely impressed 💯 percent. We waited about 15 minutes for very hot well presented food.These guys cook as you watch which is great.The new packaging is Brilliant. All wrapped up then boxed to keep the food it's best.Seriously one of our best late night foods ever. Thanks so much guys. 👏

Ordered at 17:30, original eta given was 18:20-18:30. Order didn’t arrive until 19:05, not sure if this had a knock on effect to the food but the fries went soggy.

I feel the standard of the food has been dropping recently. I also walked in yesterday and was told the wait for one burger would be over 30 minutes.

Has the chicken zinger on way home from town. Had a great chat and a laugh with owner while waiting and the food was fantastic. Thanks a lot smashies team

Some nice additions to the menu such as the burgers, however pricing on other items such as nachos is ridiculous considering they are just glorified cinema nachos. Inside seating area is cramped and door doesnt fully close leading to being hit with gusts of wind the whole meal.
