Great bakery! Traditional Bulgarian street food 10/10

We had the cheese and spinach pie. Very tasty!

Highly recommend the place as there is always fresh bakery every day,the girls which working there are amazing and always friendly,also you can find whatever you need in the shop or just order and they will kindly delivered any time.Just so handy and nice shop so i can give them 10 out off 10 for everything.

go all the time also got my english friends to try the food and now they go more than me. Could not recommend any more

The best bakery in the city ,and so cheap,really cheap. The pastries are always fresh and tasty. The staff is just amazing. Strongly recommended

The size alone for the price is incredible. Greggs would expect over £5 alone for one of them. So good I'm gonna grab another one before I leave Chester. Small store with a decent little independent vibe. Can feel the European roots as soon as you go inside. Came across it wandering an alternate route outside the train station. Glad I did.

I`ve moved recently nearby this wonderful bakery and certainly become a fan. The little one loves it as well ;) Staff is refreshingly polite. Food is excellent and you can't go wrong with any of the choices available. Additionally there is some traditional bulgarian "necessities" we all can't live without ;) On a side note. I'm not entirely sure why they call the cheese in the filo pastries "feta" as this is more traditional "salad" (as the brits call it) cheese made from cow milk. Nothing wrong with it per se but feta is made from goat and sheep milk(or entirely from sheep milk). Not like there is anything wrong with feta but it's certainly not everyone favorite choice(say the little one can't stand feta).

Mashallah great food here I tried a sandwich like fold with tomato sauce fetta cheese and chicken sausage hot and yummy

We came across this bakery by accident - needed to get some food for the train journey. We got a sausage roll, pizza, calzone and banitsa. We wanted to stop the train and come back to get more. Everything was sooooo delicious! Definitely coming back to this place when in Chester next time. And yes, lovely service as well

The spinach and feta banitsa is to die for! I get one whenever I’m passing.

My daughter wanted some oriental pastries for a party she was having. So we went to get some baklava and such there. First of all,nothing was fresh, all 2 choices were industrial and boxed up in a fridge. Secondly, they were not covered in honey but a glucose solution that completely lacked viscosity and taste. Thirdly, the pastries were mediocre at best and filled with nut shells ( watch out for the dentist bill). Finally, the lady serving us was so unhelpful and cold when we asked for advice that you really felt unwelcome. Just go a few doors down to the Village Market. They have freshly made pastries and a massive range to choose from. Luckily, my daughter's friend have never tasted oriental pastries before and did not really see the issues with them. Edit: Thank you for your reply. The lady who served us was in her 20 possibly early 30s. So I must praise you as you must be around 10 to 13 whilst writing this response. You are very articulate for such a young person.. No harm done. Have a great day.

Freshly prepared handmade pastries ,baked every 20 minutes. Just Amazing . You can find Traditional Bulgarian Products in store aswell. The Only Bulgarian Shop In Chester. Strongly recommended.

Bulgarian bakery and shop, makes some amazing fresh breads and pastries which are the favourites of Bulgarians. Being English I enjoy the taste of another countries best foods. It is worth a visit just to Chester for this store :-)

La comida es deliciosa y a buen precio. El personal es muy acogedor. ¡No podíamos esperar a que volvieran a abrir! ¡Lo recomiendo altamente!

I regularly pick up a savoury pastry on the way to Chester station and they are perfect for a delicious and filling hot snack. The baklava also comes highly recommended for being not too sweet nor too dense. Everything is very reasonably price.

Tasty breakfast, good for any meal of the day. They also offer drinks and bulgarian essential food-cheese, lukanka, lutenica etc..

They have some very lovely pastries and if you are used to Greek cuisine you will be able to find some similarities. Staff is nice and tries to speak as much English as possible. The only downside is that you will need to carry cash on you as they do not accept any other form of payment. The street they are in is quite cozy, but with little parking or it is timed where you can only stay for 1h or 30 min. You will be a walk away from the center of Chester though.

Fantastic Breakfast! Absolutely Loved it! The woman there is handmade preparing them, right on spot, so they are Extra Fresh and Crunchy! Also she was very kind, friendly and positive! Thanking Her! They have Exceptional Filo Pastry Oven baked brekkie with Cheese, Cheese and Spinach, or Cheese and Egg inside of them. Also a Wonderful choice is the Bockwurst filled, small brekkie bread - Delicious and Full of Flavor! Ayryan (Sour Yogurt) or Boza (Wheat Drink) accompanies very good with any of the top choices, that you fancy having! For Me Personally - The Best Breakfast that I've had in Long time!

Un pequeño lugar increíble para recoger gigantescos pasteles búlgaros llenos de espinacas y queso feta (opciones de carne también disponibles si eso es lo suyo) por unos pocos quid. Un pequeño almuerzo o refrigerio barato único.
