We love this place, great atmosphere, good food, brilliant staff, very attentive, feel good place, a massive well done

We are regular visitors and find the food very good and the service excellent. The staff are welcoming and pleasent and helpfull.

The service was excellent the food came very quickly, piping hot and very tastie. we call regulary and we are not dissapointed

Happened upon this hidden gem while touring on our motorbike. Friendly girls served us. Good menu and choice food was lovely.

saw it when driving past looking for food, everywhere else on the way was closed and we drove past here very hungry. It was open but it looked like it would've been overpriced, not good quality food. I was very wrong, we gave it a go and will definitely be going again, lovely staff, delicious food and affordable prices. pleasantly surprised and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick bite.

Stopped by for breakfast. Printed menu just seemed to have various bacon and sausage combos and full breakfasts. We mentioned that one of us is allergic to pork and received the classic reply “I’ll give you a little more time to study the menu then”! So we asked if we could order just scrambled eggs on toast, which weren’t on the menu. “Of course” … maybe put it on the menu. Food and decent coffees came quickly. Bacon, sausage and egg bap was good but scrambled eggs were very weak. When the printed bill appeared it had poached eggs on it. Now that would have been our choice! Very friendly waitress, good service and papers to read but please sort your menu out. BTW if you’re a veggie, there’s nothing for you here, unless of course they just forgot to put it on the menu …

A very pleasant waitress who unlocked the door to the outside so we could take our post op dog onto the decking area. Nothing was too much trouble. Food standard for the price although black pudding, sausages and eggs were excellent. Service very good and fast. Will be back.

Ordered two breakfast £14.40 with free toast and tea. Bacon arrived like cardboard cheap and nasty sausages, mushrooms tined, hash browns swimming in oil could not even touch them floating along the plate. Toast hard cheap bread. Egg nicely cooked. Waitress lovely. Where we come from for £7.20 we would have expected the full month. Not having to decide between black pudding or hash browns, beans or tomatoes. Overall cheap and nasty breakfast will never call again. Not hard to cook a excellent breakfast.

As a group of cyclists we are looking to be served promptly and enjoy good wholesome food portions and that is exactly what you get here. Staff are very pleasant and smart - nothing is too much trouble. Excellent value. We shall be going back.

Excellent service and very good value for money. But most importantly a great ‘mega-breakfast’. Just what we needed on route to a camping holiday!

We have had breakfast at Cafe Fresh a few times when we have been out on the motorbikes, Sunday morning. The food is great, well cooked and I can't recommend them enough. Pleasant people and nice place to eat. 10/10 without doubt.

This weekend we went back to cafe fresh for the first start since lockdown started. Exactly the same as before - great food, service and a welcome atmosphere. Their space has been made bigger with the marquee and it works very well. Lovely sitting in there. Lovely to talk to the other customers.

I visited Cafe Fresh today for the first time, I retired from work getting on for 2 year ago. I arranged to meet some of my old work colleagues here today, I found the cafe, staff and food to be of a fantastic standard. I would really recommend the cafe and I will definitely returning in the future.

Este café es una buena opción para un descanso cuando viaja por la zona. Nos hemos detenido aquí varias veces en un viaje desde Manchester a las fronteras galesas. Hay mucho estacionamiento y muchas mesas tanto en el interior como en el exterior en una terraza en la parte delantera del aparcamiento. Hoy nos detuvimos aquí para desayunar; ofrecen una variedad de opciones de desayuno cocinado; nos encanta tener la opción de una granola o avena, pero los ingredientes del desayuno cocinado son frescos y sabrosos. Hoy uno de nosotros tenía el pequeño inglés y el otro un sándwich de tocino y huevo. Nos impresionó lo rápido que salió la comida. Familia de 8, se detuvo para el desayuno camino a casa, servida por Vicki. Un placer y una joya escondida. Servicio con una sonrisa, nada era demasiado problema. La comida era fantástica, cocinada fresca, platos vacíos por todas partes. Los niños comieron gratis. ¡Ocupado y puedes ver por qué!

Love this place. Great food. Reasonable price. Lovely coffee. The owner and staff are always very friendly every time. It’s such a great find. I go once a fortnight at least with my family and it’s kids friendly. Love it.

Realmente no puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Ayer fuimos a desayunar y fue el más ocupado que hemos visto, creo que conseguimos la última mesa libre. A pesar del hecho de que estaba tan ocupado, nuestra orden fue tomada rápidamente y nos dijeron que podría tardar más de lo normal, incluso nos preguntaron si estaba bien. La comida llegó muy rápido y estaba perfectamente preparada como siempre. El personal es encantador y hacen que todos se sientan bienvenidos.El menú no es enorme, pero hay mucha variedad. Hacen cosas como desayunos cocinados en dos tamaños, sándwiches, tostadas y Buck Rarebit, que son tres rebanadas de queso con tostadas, con un huevo escalfado encima. Son aproximadamente 12-14 para dos comidas y bebidas, y las porciones son generosas.Esperamos volver tan pronto como sea posible.

A really nice find on the way to Chester Zoo. Really clean and welcoming, with papers and nice decor. The breakfast was very tasty and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone in the area !

La comida siempre sabe recién hecha y entregada en caliente. Introducido por mi hermana y hemos visitado algunas veces para el desayuno. Nunca nos ha decepcionado.

From the outside you would probably drive straight past it! Excellent good quality food, incredibly clean family run business, very good selection breakfast to lunch, decent prices and service with a smile. Highly recommend, takes bank cards.

No puedo recomendar este hotel lo suficiente. Personal amable, un montón de opciones en el menú, impecablemente limpias y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Elegimos el Buck Rarebit, que era muy generoso tres rondas de queso en pan tostado, con un huevo escalfado encima. Después de la cena, nos sentamos allí hablando durante bastante tiempo, y en ningún momento nos hicieron sentir como si estuviéramos en el camino, bueno, todavía muchas mesas libres, pero algunos sitios lo hacen claro que les gustaría que fuera claro - no es así aquí lo antes posible.

Well cooked and presented breakfast. Proper sausages not these cheap catering ones, nice toast and coffee in a nice and clean cafe, staff friendly and helpful, price very competitive. Will go again and would recommend

Este es nuestro lugar favorito para ir de un delicioso desayuno caliente. Valor simplemente fantástico, viene rápidamente y sabe muy bien. Hay un montón de opciones para cómo tener estás el desayuno también. El personal es muy servicial y tratar de acomodar lo que quieres. Es fácil llegar y park, acogedor por dentro y la buena comida, ¿qué más se puede pedir? ! No otra comida durante todo el día no es sólo un lugar para desayunar, sólo que es lo que viene por ahora.

Paramos aquí para un desayuno inglés completo, después de un viaje de camping cerca. Nos sirvieron rápido y tuvimos nuestra taza de inmediato con el desayuno completo servido poco después. Cuatro adultos y un niño de tres años fuimos a este lugar para el desayuno Viernes 22 de julio de 2016. La señora que lleva es precioso; nada era demasiado problema. La comida estaba recién hecha y una excelente relación calidad-precio. El lugar está muy bien cuidado y está impecablemente limpio. Que habíamos solicitado a otro lugar en recomendar algún sitio y Helsby no podían, así que nos fuimos más tarde y les dijo que recomendaría el café fresco.

Went here with my partner as we fancied a breakfast, past it loads of times and always said we will have to come here, so today we did and the breakfast are lovely, thoroughly enjoyed it. And the staff are really nice too which made it more enjoyable. Definitely will be back :)

O.K. Yes I am local but I am not being biased. If I travel into Chester I can't find a better value English Breakfast than here at the "CAFE FRESH".Can I suggest anyone passing - STOP, refuel and you won't need any lunch, it will put you on till your evening meal.

Popped in on the way home from a short break in Welshpool, arrving in another of this winter's Monsoon we quickly ordered breakfasts and coffee. Fast service with good quality products and a friendly feel about the place. Bill less than £15, in a good spot for us on the way home from Wales - and open Sundays.

We visited on way home to Liverpool from a night in Chester, couple of other places were closed and this was the first cafe we passed that was open. We were greeted by 2 lovely ladies who made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was fab and the service was great and friendly. Highly recommend this place based on the food we had and the friendly service.

Excellent as usual. Great food and service again and nowhere better that I know of. The speed of service is breathtaking compared to other places, staff are happy, chatty and can't do enough for you. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Well done.

First time I had been here after passing it many times. It is very small so if the car park is full the cafe will definatley be. Nice and clean though and the food was nice. They do a lovely latte. Staff great too. Would call in again.

I had heard of café fresh through my friends. They seemed to have loved the experience so I thought, why not? I was not disappointed at all the food was top notch and the staff were all really friendly. They even gave my daughter Darcie a lolly. I would rate this whole experience 10/10. Also I would love to give my compliments to the chef for such a lovely meal.

This little cafe on A56 is a hidden gem. Nothing is too much trouble for them. I had mushroom omelette and fries while my husband had breakfast. Reasonable prices and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be good again soon.

An outstanding little Cafe on the A56 Chester/Frodsham road. We called for breakfast at about 9.30am, place was buzzing and the staff we're great and friendly with swift efficient service. Breakfast top notch, piping hot and only £4.80 including tea or coffee. Will definately be calling again.

We come to cafe fresh every now and again for a full English as it is reasonably prices and you get a very big plate of food and a cup of tea. the staff are lovely although we where overcharged once on a day a young girl and a young boy where working but we don't know why but oh well, other than that i would definitely recommend.

Fabulous as usual, kids eat free is great too. Always clean, warm, friendly and superb food and service. By far the best Cafe we have been to.

I called to have a bacon on toast,which was full of bacon very friendly lady nice and clean well worth a visit

Visited here for lunch, and although the menu isn't exactly extensive what there is is well cooked and presented, although I'm not a big fan of having toast served with chilli con carne.

Came here with my husband to sample the full English breakfast. He had the regular, I had the small, both delicious and wholemeal toast was a real delight. Nice mugs of tea too. The place was spotless and the service friendly. Will certainly trust ourselves to this again and will hopefully try other meals too. Hope this lovely little place gets the support it deserves.

This is a very friendly cafe with hardworking staff, quick service, a varied and reasonably priced menu. The seating is comfortable, and the cleanliness is outstanding. It was a pleasure. I can also recommend it to users of the M56, take exit 14 and follow the A56 towards Chester - you will find Cafe Fresh on a bend in the road. Enjoy!

Nice food, but waited a while for it. Sausages and bacon could have been better quality, but at £4.80 a great value breakfast.

We are regulars to Cafe Fresh and it never fails to deliver. Excellent and friendly service and also very accommodating to a fussy eater! Food is a very good standard and good value. Definitely the best breakfast around and would highly recommend to anyone.

This was a regular haunt of ours until the Bluebell Cafe opened which is walking distance.I must say though the food is lovely always freshly cooked to order and the choice great too.The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble!

Tried this place for the first time just recently and loved the experience. Value for money was fantastic, as was the service. Place is immaculately clean - just a lovely really enjoyable time. Can't wait to go back!

I have been here twice now, and on both occasions have been severely impressed by the quality of the all-day breakfast which, for £4.80 (including a brew if you rock up prior to 11am), is an absolute steal. The sausages and black pudding are first rate, and the toast inch-thick and dripping with butter, just as nature intended. It isn't at all greasy, either, as one often finds with a fully cooked. Importantly, the waiting staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. It is great to find a place like this not too far away from your doorstep. I would strongly advise you to pay it a visit. You will be impressed.

so we kept driving past this little cafe - and then we decided we would try it out..........We liked it - chips & omlette - first thing i notice - cos im a worrier - how well the food was presented - Clean - so i was happy - the taste was lovely also........then the women running the place were great , no kipper faces ! so we will go back and we ask you to give it a try.......cant see you not liking it.

This place is amazing, we called one morning on our way to Frodsham market after hearing about this place from a friend. It's a cafe in name only. We had the all day breakfast which comes with free tea or coffee before 11am and it was superb, cooked to perfection and served by wonderful happy staff, total cost £9.60, unbelievable value compared to some of the other venues on this road. We'll definitely be back, well done

This must be the best cafe in the area and a must to visit. Food is excellent, prices are even better.All in all a fabulous place to eat, staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble with lovely smiles and greeting. A great experience and we'll be back soon. Cafe Fresh is as good as any other eatery in this area bar none.

Everything is freshly prepared and cooked to order.The value of the breakfast at £4.80 is amazing, you certainly dont leave hungry.
