A warm, cosy and inviting little coffee shop. With top tier coffee and cakes. My partner, daughter and I really enjoyed our morning coffee here. The owner and I had a really great conversation about how he likes to pay attention to detail to the coffee he makes and he did not disappoint. Coffee and cake to perfection. Thank you. Will be returning frequently.

Was visiting friends in the area and told to go here for great coffee and customer service… I will be honest and say from beginning to end the customer service received was incredible. The owners really know how to make an excellent cup of coffee and the knowledge and passion oozes! I went for breakfast and had the breakfast bap which again was delicious. Lastly ended with homemade carrot cake which was divine! If you are in the area you would be silly not to pop in!! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time here. The staff are incredibly friendly there is a huge choice of food and coffees all which can be decaff. It's a local hub of activity. Really pleasant. Would absolutely recommend. I'll be coming back.

Hidden gem, great vibe, well worth making a detour for. £4 lunch time deal, beautiful homemade bakes, perfect coffee. Just make sure you arrive 1hr before closing if you want hot food. We will be back soon.

I was delivering to Care Homes in the area, when I fancied a cappuccino. I just wanted a takeaway, but Wow what a place, I ended up having a lovely sausage and onion ciabatta. The two owner's were very friendly and focused. It's obviously very popular with locals,as it was very busy.Well done guys, I hope to drive past here again very soon.

This is just what an independent coffee shop should be like. The staff members working were friendly and attentive and delivered some great customer service and customers were made to feel most welcome. Although we only enjoyed a fantastic cup of coffee and a cake, we noticed they did some nice looking food and its clearly a popular outlet as there was a steady stream of customers. Ample car parking is located opposite this cafe. Keep up the great work gents and we will be back when we are next in the local area.

We had Sandwiches/ Jacket Potato from here after visiting the local park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was really tasty and a good price. Came to less than we'd expected with drinks etc. Good selection of cakes and cookies on show that looked nice, but we didn't order these. A few tables outside which were nice to sit at in the sun. Definitely eat here again when we next visit the park.

This was our first visit to both Cheshire and this beautiful little independent coffee shop and didn’t fail in anyway for service, food, drinks and somewhere to feel relaxed and welcomed. It’s really worth taking a look at the website too and gives you a history of how it all started which made us make the drive from where we were staying to pay a visit. Perfectly set up even with current pandemic restrictions and a nice area to sit outside to catch-up with family/friends. The coffee blend was great and really tasty, far better than the standard chains and the homemade cakes were delicious. They have a great menu for quick bites and lunch options and although we didn’t choose this option it’s worth taking a look. The owners should be very proud of this little gem, we met Ross at the counter who just added to the fantastic service and experience and we hope one day to pay a visit again.

We have breakfast from here all the time at work, it's decent price compared to most places in Tarporley but the breakfast sandwiches aren't great. The portion is a good size but the sausages aren't good quality and although the bacon is better quality the fat on them is always undercooked and slimy. Based on the other reviews I can only assume that the rest of the menu is much nicer.

bap we have had in a long time.I had heard about this place and we decided to cycle over and take a look.The quality of coffee in coffee shops is always an issue for me but here the coffee was good and strong just how I like it.The bacon baps were a big hit with both of us thoroughly enjoyed them.There is a varied menu to suit most people and also a good variety of milk options eg soya coconut etc.The only downside of this coffee shop for us was the lack of a toilet but the pub across the road is ideally situated.We were grateful for the advice about the route home also.We will hopefully make it over that way again...

We'd been recommended this cafe by a foodie friend and we were really immoressed. The coffee is first rate and the sandwiches were fresh and excellent value for money. Wide range of high quality cakes available and the staff are very friendly. We will be back.

This place is the heart and soul of Kelsall having recently been taken over by 2 local guys first impressions really do count. The smell of fresh coffee and the display of cakes lure you inside; both Ross & Jake are friendly and welcoming offering a good selection of food and drink. There’s seating both inside and out and dogs are made welcome outside with a tethering point and a clean bowl of water. Free WiFi is an added bonus too!I have been several times during the past 2 weeks and can honestly say their homemade chocolate brownies are the best I’ve ever had, usually accompanied with a black Americano or macchiato both full of flavour and consistently good, beats the big chain coffee shops hands down!If like me you are more sweet than savoury, definitely try the homemade brownies and carrot cake, you won’t be disappointed! However, I have tried the bacon batch which is excellent value for money and extremely popular.

It was our first time to visit here, given we have just moved to the area. Unfortunately the lady who served us was far from welcoming. Called into 'The Greedy Pig' Cafe, a small independent cafe during the Chester Folk Festival on Sunday 29th May 2016. The cafe is located almost opposite the Lord Binning Pub which is at the heart of the Folk Festival and Kelsall village. Kelsall is a small affluent 'Cheshire Life' type village set in the green Cheshire countryside. The address says Tarporley which is the next nearby village about five miles away. The cafe is located on a small parade of old shops on the Chester road through the village near the 82 GHA bus stop direct to Chester. They had a small road side outside seating area of about five tables, which is popular with walkers and cyclists passing through the Cheshire countryside. You can sit a look over the green fields and rolling Cheshire hills in the background. Inside is small but they had a good range of cakes and sandwiches, the staff were friendly and the service was quick. The cafe looked to be the only one in the village although the two pubs 'The Oak' and 'The Lord Binning' served teas and coffees.

Use the greedy pig 3 days a week the large baps of coronation chicken, and chicken tikka are really excellent. Coffee is also very good, really handy to have deli food available for lunch and great value

Have used The Greedy Pig for a good few months now as part of a diet plan! The owner (Rayner) is very accommodating and provides a tailor made tuna mixed salad daily to suit my needs. Excellent speedy service with a smile, good food etc most welcoming, well worth a try.

Popped in today to get a bit of lunch got a box salad which was very nice with home made coleslaw and potato salad just portion a little on the small side, and the sausage roll had been in the warmer to long and fell to pieces. The chicken in the sandwich was a bit dry but bread was nice.

Friendly warm welcome awaits all in this cosy cafe. Perfect stop for refuelling during a ride and likewise if you fancy a nice freshly made sandwich or homemade cake if you're passing. Good coffee and tea and soft drinks for the kids. Great for sitting outside to enjoy the sun or equally nice to sit inside and chat with the accommodating staff. It's a regular stop for our group and will remain so in the future.

Food OK, staff can be a bit miserable and make you feel slightly uncomfortable going in. It seems to have its own opening hours which are very limited.
