The best restaurants serving British food in Knutsford Cheshire East North West

Vine aquí para una segunda visita y me gusta mucho el lugar. no es como ir a una de las cafeterías en Knutsford, que son estupendas, pero son diferentes en la manera en que se puede disfrutar tanto como experiencias distintas. visite aquí me sentí como un sobrino favorito visitando una tía que posea una enorme casa de campo. Desde el largo y sinuoso camino en coche al hermoso entorno del salón de té con techos abovedados con vigas y 16 th chimenea del siglo XVIII que tiene su propia historia, a la amplia selección de tés y pasteles de su propietaria fue una experiencia que recomiendo a cualquiera.

Friendly staff, quick service and quality food very busy but they squeezed us in.

The lady who runs it was welcoming insightful and charming. She gets all her meat from the local butcher which is first class. She was passionate about food and her recommendations dovetailed beautifully. My sister ate the mushrooms on toast, which she gave me to try. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection and the sauce was a perfect blend of flavour and consistency. They were really good, the lady who sat next to us has been coming for years and also recommended them, it was easy to see why. I myself had the brie and bacon ciabatta with chutney. The chutney was cooked in a slightly curried sauce which was lovely. Although I would have liked a slightly sweeter sauce maybe blueberries to cut through the mild salt in the bacon and brie but it was excellent none the less. Three breakfasts and pot's of tea for £14 per person was incredible value. I finally remembered years ago taking my daughter here for her birthday lunch and she kept asking me to take her to the place with the train running overhead, I couldn't remember at the time but she'll be overjoyed to hear I've found it. Called in for breakfast. Service was prompt and the food tasty. Friendly atmosphere.

We came today for Sunday lunch, the food was disappointing beef sunday dinner. Beef full of fat, 2 potatoes which was not good, gravy very thin. The food went very cold quickly I think this was due to cutting all the fat off the beef, also you must have used thyme on your food which was overpowering. The coli flower cheese was ok very hot and pigs in blankets ok except one without bacon on it. Service was good, the guy who served behind the bar was very loud but nice. Overall lack of taste on the food. We was one of the first meals and it was not busy so no excuse. I would go back for a drink but unfortunately not for the food, sorry.

£18.50 for a small chicken sandwich + fries which tasted like supermarket oven fries, very bland and raw. Massively overpriced and service was poor, definitely can’t justify the prices for the food or service.

Average food more like a pub, raw onion in the scotch egg bhaji, bang bang cauliflower poor, fish and chips were tiny and fish dry. So over priced for below average food.

Great central pub. Busy. Traditional. Catch all mix of clientele. Caring staff. Good pub rooms. Fabulous breakfast. Alice. The manager. If professional friendly caring and superb.

First time in this restaurant and the food was lovely, ordered steak and it was perfectly cooked. Service was quick and we were served by both Matt and Nat and they were both friendly and very efficient. Would definitely return again.

best tea ever tea leaves are whole leaf and at least fourteen grades above the dust in your teabags the foliage around the table brings the complete experience

We called in for lunch and I chose the chicken tikka wrap and my friend chose an egg mayonnaise sandwich on brown bread. The chicken tikka wrap was tasteless and dry and the egg mayonnaise sandwich hardly had any filling and the bread was dry. For around £20 I would have expected something half decent. The staff were very pleasant and the cafe itself is very nice but shame about the food ,

What a great pub , welcomed by Paula , 40 + of us descended on her and her team for a pre wedding drink , which turned into everyone ordering food , the poor guy in the kitchen was run ragged , the food was good the drinks were reasonable for Knutsford . Thanks a lot you were all brilliant !
