New menu is poor. Prices dear. Scones hard and stale. Bring back old menu.

Opening times are wrong, the café stops doing food an hour before it says. The staff were unhelpful and rude, and the vegan selection was poor. I would not recommend.

Actually close at 3 when the website says 5 with last order at 4. Useless staff who don’t give a toss. Wouldn’t touch this place with a barge pole. 0 food hygiene.

Visiting Knutsford with Boothroyd so popped into his favourite supermarket..Booths! Had the regular full English for £5. £2.60 for a coffee. (£40 on odds and sods in the supermarket.)

What an absolute disgrace. Who ever is running this place should be ashamed. We waited 45 minutes for toast when I went to ask about it, the First Lady just walked off, a second lady offered up some inspiring words “ the front are probably waiting for us to do it in the back but we can’t they ave to do it round the front” and that was it! We were on a 1 hour break from work, so left without eating! We will not be back. Staff are obviously very unhappy, poorly trained and demotivated.

Stopped here on a bike ride. Excellent covered bike parking, lovely fried breakfast (well-sourced, well-cooked and very good value) and delicious coffee and almond croissant.

Concierge very friendly and accommodating, build good rapport with customers. Served by less-than-helpful lady who continually asked me to repeat my order and still got it wrong. Also, no bacon - wont replace with sausage (only tomatoes or mushrooms) Shame

If you want to shop at booths don't bother unless you have a app downloaded for car paring ticket and if you have not don't bother asking the staff at front of shop to help, they smirk at you and rather you walk away.Other customers were going to ticket machine and walking away, if this doesn't close you down then I don't know what will. You are not getting any customers. Not all of us can do apps or even want to do apps, you blame the council for this decision, well must be all yuppy boys on council who do apps and think every one else should.

I shop here once a month when visiting family in Cheshire, almost always on a Saturday. The main cafe is always very busy. Both the bacon and sausage sandwiches are invariably excellent and I have also enjoyed the full breakfast. Good choice of a variety of coffees. Service speed from the kitchen always good in my experience but the counter service is often quite slow.

We’ve been visiting Booths in Knutsford for a year now, we go about every six weeks and it’s such a great shopping experience The butchers counter is second to none, friendly and helpful staff and extremely knowledgeable about the meat they are selling We just got back today and stocked up the freezer until the next time.

We decided to have lunch after doing some shopping here. I love the store for shopping but the cafe was terrible.We ordered 2 baked potatoes and one wasn't cooked and a pork burger which was a very small burger on a massive bun and the burger was really dry and chewy.We also had 2 scones and they were stale.They had no water and a very poor selection of drinks available and we had to go into the store to buy drinksI WOULD NOT ADVISE EATING HERE

The food is always lovely & good coffee but the staff seem under pressure, not sure if they have enough!

We had a great breakfast here on Sunday morning, everyone and everything, staff, food and customers were at their best! It's a light, airy position. Very good.

Tables were not cleared even though it wasn't busy. Quick service as was quite, pleasant server. Tea was average and not flavoursom, coffee wasn't great. The jam and cream scone was delicious, freshly baked. Was an average supermarket cafe experience.

Anyone reading this has to realise that many of the reviews are written by people who are too stupid or too lazy to put their empty plates and cups back on the tray, then put the tray on the racks provided.It's a supermarket cafe. It's not a restaurant. It's not a quaint tea shop. Yet for £2.10 of their hard-earned cash, they expect full table service.Please, do all of us a favour, go and a cup of hot tasteless watery rubbish from the McDonald's drive-through, and stop coming to Booth's. You'll feel better for it, other customers will, and the staff certainly will.

Breakfast ends at 1130, lunch starts at 1200. Great if you rock up at 1140! Choice of 3 sandwiches and no where to sit...

A clean spacious cafe serving hot and cold food. Serves through the day until five pm. Self service but hot meals bought to your table.

The quality of food is great for the price. The service - especially the queuing - is so slow. The cashiers also make the coffee and warm the toasties etc. So it takes forever to serve people getting the cheapest Booths Card coffee/ snack combination. The management could learn from Burger King or MacDonalds staff.

Can’t believe it! One member of staff in the cafe on a busy Sunday! I have been queuing for 30 minutes so far and still not served! Very disappointing. The poor solo staff member is rushed off her feet with a lot of unhappy customers ... not ok! Hopefully I won’t be waiting just as long for the food to arrive ...

Great for a coffee and a 🍰 and having a chat 👍 I spend quite a bit of time in here ! They need more staff on certain days and times as it can be slow 🙄 But it's a friendly cafe 👍😀

Visited today for Afternoon Tea & thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely fresh sandwiches with ham, tuna & egg mayonnaise. The fruit scones were huge but light & tasty & had been nicely warmed. There were also 4 mini cakes each - again fresh & tasty. The service was excellent & the staff very helpful. They gave us a box to take home what we couldn’t eat as it was so filling ! Would certainly come back. As an added bonus Booths card holders get a discount !

Food is nearly always smaller portions than expected, they've ran out of stuff and the service is slow and often rude too. Fine for buying a quick cake and sandwich but anything cooked is just always a disaster for me.

Arrived at 12.45 for a quick lunch. There were only a couple in front. The two people behind the counter kept disappearing and ten minutes passed before it was our turn. We asked for two jacket potatoes. After checking that two were available we were told that there was a 20 minute wait for food as several customers had ordered all at once. We declined the wait and just settled for two hot drinks. These took another 5 minutes to prepare. Many of the empty tables were not available as it appered tht no one was actually clearing away. Never found out if the food was OK or not. Will not bother again.

I registered with Booths in the past and got vouchers, no after a few years reregistered but nowadays you get a free drink from a machine bit no vouchers even if spend loads regurarly

The cafe is disgusting always short of staff today people was waiting 20 in a line and only one staff behind till absolutely disgusting they know it's a busy period they never put a staff on and the manager of the cafe when it's her time for break she goes and let the others carry on struggling they need more staff so unprofessional person

Booths is an upmarket store, but its cafeteria is quite homely. You order at the counter and are given a number which you take to your table and wait. We were here for breakfast and didn't have to wait long. The food and coffee were hot and tasty.

We called into Booths cafe this morning & had a full English breakfast with tea & toast...I must say that we enjoyed every mouthful & we definitely be calling again...it was glorious & served by friendly staff.

We enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea in Booths cafe. A supermarket cafe might not be the obvious choice for afternoon tea but this cafe does have a certain charm made even better by the friendliness of the staff. All the elements of the tea, sandwiches, cake and scones, were all excellent. Very enjoyable and extremely good value.

Went in on Mother's Day and had a delicious afternoon tea. An absolute bargain at £15 for two people and even better at £12.50 for two with a Booths loyalty card. The prosecco and goody bag were , of course, a special addition only for the day but much appreciated. Certainly somewhere to take mum next year.

This is a nice cafe with a decent range of options. They have hot/cold food and a good selection of cakes. They have a very reasonable afternoon tea for 2 at £15 which is good value for all you get (sandwiches, scones and a selection of mini cakes). And if you've got a Booths card you get £2.50 off the price! It can be quite busy but service is always quick and the staff are nice.
