Our first visit and it won’t be the last. Great for a Sunday lunch. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent food and service, great staff and great offers on the carvery. We will return again with our family!

we held our rainbow baby gender reveal at the Hare & Hounds - and what a choice we made! From the first contact until the end of the event It was just perfect, Lesley and her team go above and beyond to make sure your event runs smoothly. The venue is spotless with great amenities, the carvery is absolutely beautiful the best we have ever had!! Well done Lesley and the team - we highly recommend this venue and will be holding all our future events here Thanks again guys!

I’m sorry to say it was awful the carvery was very poor - the veg was not cooked - the roast potatoes had no colour at all looked boiled It was just awful and very disappointing

I was recommended by a friend to try it.After a wait at the understaffed bar for our drinks we sat down to read the menu. It became apparent that the sign outside was in fact false advertising as it cost a lot more. We then stood waiting by the unattended carvery for our food.After ringing the bell several times, we were eventually served with in our opinion cold vegetables. The food itself (main meat) was OK,but cold veg ruined the costly experience, plus the wait and sarcasm from the food server.what was ment to be a special day out with my elderly mum,was extremely disappointing.

Used to visit alot before pandemic, not so much since. partner wanted a carvery and we decided to got back. I admit i was reluctant after reading some of the reviews on here. We arived and were greated by a friendly young man who told us what offers on that day and to find a table number and go to bar to order. Lady at bar friendly took orders and advised of offers during week. Went to get carvery and lady serving was friendly and given that the poor lady looked like she was about to melt in the heat remained helpful went into kitchen to get more mash that was nearly empty. Overall was a good visit and i was glad we went and will return.

Me and my girlfriend popped in for the first time yesterday as we are new to the area. We was greeted by a friendly, lovey woman who spoke really clear and was so approachable. We had a drink and sat in the garden. We then came back inside and ordered a Carvery. The prices were great, and so was the food. The lady serving the food was polite and greeted us with a smile. The place was clean, tidy, the garden is well kept and even the toilets smelt good! I don’t understand why there is a couple comments on here about the place being 1 star. I think these people are internet trolls as this place is a 5* for me and I will definitely be returning.

We recently had a Sunday carvery at the Hare and Hounds in Timperley and it was excellent value. They offer the carvery at two sizes and both are plentiful and of a very good standard, with three different meat options and plenty of self serve vegetables. The carvery is also served throughout the week. Some of our party passed on the carvery and had the enormous ultimate burgers off the main menu, which were also very good. Although we were full, we couldn't resist the deserts and these were a real sweet treat. The atmosphere there is friendly and the staff were efficient and helpful. We will definitely go again!

Always made welcome when we visit. The staff are super friendly and the food is always delicious. Speedy service too. Great value for money in today's economic climate! Would recommend a visit!

Poor quality carvery , turkey was nice and mash potatoes All the veg was hard Wanted to sit in a quiet part to get away from noisy kids but got moved staff

Out with friends for a long awaited catch up also our Wedding Anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful, taking photos of us & not rushing us out when we were still talking at closing time. The four of us all had a different meal, one meat, one fish, two pasta dishes, they were excellent Josie & Aki were professional and friendly. Thank You for making our Anniversary meal that but more special. We'll be back

Went with my family the other day for a cavery, and found some of the vegatables like potatoes not cooked, alos the choice of vegtables was limited so not impressed despite the flash sign outside the counter, it appears the choice is reduced to other carveries. The meat supplied was smaller than I remember at tother places

Returned here for first time in many years. It's still awful. The carvery is dry, boring and tasteless. The staff are still obnoxious and the manager still patrols with her stinking attitude. Had hope maybe it would be different - not the case. Avoid!

Staff were efficient and welcoming, the Carvery however was poor, instant mash potato, frozen or microwaved roast potato, with tinned or frozen peas and sweetcorn and tasteless gravy, it will have to improve dramatically for us to return !!

Visit at least twice a month - the staff certainly make it an enjoyable visit, they all work so hard with smiles on their faces - great value roast too - home from home visit - dont take my word for it, give it a try well worth it

Cannot understand previous review - we visit twice a week - the staff are fantastic, helpful and friendly and the fppd ...... cheaper than a packet of sandwiches - where can you get a sunday roast for £4.49!!!! Been here lots of times for cavery and it's really nice food. However, we thought it'd nice for Mothers Day...huge mistake! The most stressful lunch ever. Spent most of my time away from my mum, waiting for food...queuing out of the door! They cannot cope with more than 10 covers at once. Manager was clearly stressed and abrupt. Lots of disappointed, hungry people...waiting. This was with pre booking a table in advance! Perhaps rather than grabbing money, they should employ more bar staff to ensure people are served for food and drinks...and also teach the manager some customer service and management skills.
