Aprils Kitchen in Cheshire East

We hired Aprils for my wife’s 40th party, and couldn’t recommend it enough. She only wanted a small do but didn’t want to feel drowned, and this venue was perfect. We had 60 guests, and didn’t feel crowded at all. We hired a dj and sax player and the atmosphere was brilliant. Millie and Ellie were amazing on the bar at night, Millie was brilliant in the lead up, and there wasn’t anything that she’s didn’t think of for us. We decided against food, and elected for trays of shots…..A 1am finish was also a nice bonus!!

We chose Aprils Kitchen to host my son's 21st birthday party for family & friends, from the outset Millie & her team were so professional and organised, ensuring that all aspects of the night were covered off beforehand. We had a sit down meal for 35 from an agreed set menu which was first class followed by an evening of live music and then our own chosen playlist through their music system! Having exclusive use of the venue really worked for our reasonably small group size, although they could have catered for 60 if needed after the initial meal, feedback from all who intended was extremely positive and we wouldn't hesitate on recommending or booking again ourselves.

Honestly amazing food. They were a bit busy but did explain that there would be a 10 minute delay. Food was amazing, drinks great. Bit on the pricey side but couldn’t complain about the quality so no doubt we will go back. Nice little find on a Saturday afternoon

Upon arrival staff were not friendly and somewhat dismissive (as though we were an interruption). It was between 5 - 10 minutes before a drink order was taken, whilst the restaurant was not very busy at all. Food presentation was lovely, flavour was off in some way. It was unfortunate as we were rather looking forward to it. PS Also, please update your website with your proper hours for food service.

Always great food and great service! A wide-ranging menu of healthy and delicious food. Particularly fabulous breakfasts with lots of different egg dishes. Fantastic smoothies, with or without protein powder. And a good ramge of zero drinks if you are looking for an alcohol.alternative, but equally, some great cocktails as well. All in a stylish setting served by friendly staff. A stand out venue in Knutsford.

Can't even explain, but from the outside we were thinking, this wasn't somewhere we would choose. But inside is a different place, staff were attentive but not fussy, decor very nice, warm cosy feel Breakfast was excellent, cooked just how we asked. We will definitely be back.

I recently hired Aprils Kitchen for an intimate 30th birthday lunch for around 30 guests and it was perfect! The events team Millie and Forbes were incredible from start to finish. They organised a bespoke menu for my guests and were on hand to help with all my party ideas. The afternoon was just perfect and turned out exactly how I envisioned. The team were so organized and thought of everything to make the afternoon run so smoothly. All my friends and family had the best time and highly rated the food and service. I was even allowed to bring in my own live entertainment, which Forbes helped organise on the day to make sure it all went to plan! Thanks again Millie and Forbes for all your help and time. We can’t wait to return!

Had my works do here on Friday and had a brilliant night. Food was amazing. All the staff were lovely. Definitely would visit again

I recently visited Aprils unfortunately by experience was marred by witnessing some uncomfortable behaviour. While the food was pleasant, I was taken aback by how I saw the managers treating their staff. Multiple times during my visit, I observed managers speaking to employees in a way that seemed unnecessarily harsh and unprofessional. It is never pleasant to see staff members - who are working hard to make customers' experience pleasant to be treated poorly by their own management. This creates a negative atmosphere for the staff but also affects the overall vibe of the cafe.

£18.50 for a small chicken sandwich + fries which tasted like supermarket oven fries, very bland and raw. Massively overpriced and service was poor, definitely can’t justify the prices for the food or service.

Came here whilst in Knutsford shopping, drinks were really tasty and the food was incredible. We had the Huevos Rancheros (add feta) and the Pesto Poached Eggs. Both were so tasty and really filling, poached eggs cooked to perfection. All the flavours blended perfectly and the restaurant was just overall a lovely vibe with nice staff. Would come here again!

Had the poke bowl with peri-peri chicken was delicious 😋

Lovely little tea room, breakfast light meals place. All sourced locally. Family runned excellent choice of healthy food. I do recommend. They do accommodate takeaway, welcome children. The girls at the entrance were lovely and friendly specially ciara, Ellie and caitlin

+ good, friendly service - the poke bowl was £16 (basically rice salad and tofu) and I was still hungry after it, small portion. The service charge is added on to the bill without being offered a choice. Everywhere is doing this now and it’s not fair - you’d feel too awkward to ask for it to be taken off. The service was good so I didn’t mind paying it but I should be given the option. Another £1 was added on the bill for a climate charge without being offered the option too. Wouldn't recommend and I won’t be back.

Lovely clean little bistro, just popped in for a coffee and cake. Very nice and recommend the place.

We had a corporate retirement party at Aprils for around 25 employees and we had the best time here. Forbes and the staff were so helpful leading up to the event and on the night itself. We wanted to decorate the place and also hire a singer and Forbes was very helpful in giving information regarding suppliers they had used in the past. Everyone was so thrilled with the venue, the food, the staff, the decorations/singer. Couldn't thank the team enough, definitely recommend this place for future events.

What a great place. I had a fabulous Hugo cocktail and a smoked bacon bagel. Delicious. I’ll definitely return.

Great breakfast and lovely staff! We got the April's Special which was the Reuben Sandwich and the French Toast with bacon and maple sirup. The place is cozy and comfortable, will gladly visit again.

We ordered the lunch sandwich platter for a business networking event. The food was beautiful and the team very kindly delivered it to our office. 5 star service!

We hired Aprils for an exclusive ladies charity night. The staff were absolutely fantastic throughout organising and also on the night. Very friendly and couldn't do more to make our evening a huge success. We definitely recommend Aprils. The food and drinks were amazing. Thank you.

I used Aprils to cater a family party at home. I chose a selection of their platters which were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. I would definitely recommend and will be using their home catering service again.

I bought sandwiches from here on Sunday, it's now wednesday and I'm sure they'll still be laughing at me! The food was nice but i was charged £40.50 for 3 breakfast sandwiches and a coke i have no idea how they can justify these prices! AVOID!

Really nice Brunch on a rainy Wednesday. Crushed avocado toast was really simple but really nice and just what I needed

I went for brunch, was seated and then ignored for ages whilst 3 of the waitresses chatted away to each other at the bar and the 2 chefs were on their mobile phone. The pancakes were ok. The bill included a 10% tip which didn't seem to have an option to remove, plus a carbon neutral fee! So pancakes and a glass of orange juice for 1 person was £17.16. I definitely wouldn't return or recommend.

Stopped by with my partner on our way home from a holiday in the Lake District. We were attracted by the fact that they cater for Vegans (I'm vegan). We were greeted on arrival and as we hadn't booked the only table they had for us was in the middle of two other couples and we were very close (more on that to follow). The food was outstanding - I had the Plant Breakfast with extra avocado, my partner had the Salmon and Cheshire eggs. Both were impeccably cooked and very generous portions. The only slight negative was the coffee, it was quite bland - not sure why this was. The food is quite pricey here, but it is very good quality and the service was quick and efficient. The real negative was how close the tables are together. One of the couples we sat next to were some of the most aggressively pretentious people I've ever had the misfortune of being within earshot of. They were banging on about how they avoid seed oils and their microbiomes, which mantras they were using and how a podcast had changed one of their lives. It made for an extremely uncomfortable dining experience. I would like to think this wouldn't happen to most people and we were unlucky. All in all I would recommend April's for the food and the service but unless you like being sat on top of people and having to listen to their conversation then I would avoid it.

Fabulous food and drinks at reasonable prices 👌 The smoked salmon and scrambled egg croissant with watercress was divine!! Great presentation and very good quality food and drinks. Sjll atmosphere Carbon Charge in top of service charge which BTW was average at best I won't be paying your carbon charge or service charge again as I won't be revisiting Plenty of other places to enjoy.

This is a popular place in Knutsford for brunch / lunch. Went with my kids and were seated at the back. We had mini stacked pancakes and pesto eggs, both were really nicely presented and tasty. Service was good. We had a small sparkling water and tea. Was surprised when the bill came (£30 for 1.5 meals including £7 for 2 drinks). The decor is a bit too retro for my taste but I can see why people like it. Given the affluence of Knutsford, I can see why it does so well but for me it was a little too pricey. Would recommend if you’re not worried about budget.

Quite possibly the worst cup of coffee I've had in the last 20 years. Tasted like it came from a vending machine in a bus station. Over-priced as well. Won't be returning.

We dined in as a party of 3 plus a baby to have brunch. It had good plant based options. I ordered the plant based breakfast. It was good. The service was friendly and quick and the decor in the restaurant was cool. The other two in our parry had Buddha bowls which were tasty. Slightly on the expensive side.

My wife organised a surprise birthday party for me using AK as a private venue. The evening couldn’t’t have been any better. A lovely welcome for all the guests. The food, service & atmosphere were all perfect; a most memorable evening. A special “thank you” to Forbes and the staff for looking after us so well. See you soon

Sat in heated outdoor room, service was very good. Pancakes tasted very nice but were a little dry, lashings of maple syrup required!

Came in without a booking and got seated right away. The food and drinks were all amazing and the service was great too. I had the American style pancakes with bacon and maple syrup and it was DELICIOUS. I also got myself the ‘Six of the Best’ smoothie which was really yummy! Would definitely recommend stopping in!

This place is way too expensive for my liking plus they add a service charge and a carbon free dining charge to the bill, whatever that is?? Food I would say was average for the cost, 2 omelettes and 2 small glasses of fresh orange £33 wow! Staff, quick on getting the menus to us but took 10mins to take the order, then had to put on our jackets and stand to get the bill, need to be a bit more pleasant also to be honest, service with a smile would have been nice. I certainly won't be coming back here, other places locally serving as good food for a lot less cost. Appeared to be a I'm it your $#/£ venue.

Very slow service - lunchtime. Took 20 minutes before our drinks order was taken and they said they couldn't take the food order until the drinks were delivered to our table which took another 10 minutes. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the food. A 10% service charge was automatically added to our bill.

April's coffee is delicious. It comes with a glass of iced water (great idea) and a mini chocolate baton. Great presentation but most importantly, it's consistently tasty coffee. Staff are always friendly.

Food is good but only 2 stars because of hidden charges. Service charge and some kind of charity scheme added automatically to the bill. If you wish to be a money grabbing company you are welcome. Doesn’t work for me as a customer. With these charges the food becomes very expensive. Won’t be visiting again.

Found this place when looking for somewhere to eat breakfast at. We are a brother, sister, auntie & friend that work together. The menu was excellent. Full of plenty of food choices. My auntie is vegan and was so happy with her food. Presentation beautifully done. Staff serving the table and kitchen were all really lovely. I needed a good breakfast following a bad hotel one the previous day !! If we come back to the area we will definitely return - thank you!

The perfect breakfast before setting off and travelling down south, very generous portions in the full English but not too much. The coffee was very good too, I just wish I had taken a picture of the food before it was gone. 10/10

Ugh, a Vegan up-charge… it’s not needed and it’s certainly not classy. Give that a rethink guys, especially if you’re adding the ironic “carbon” offset to each bill anyway. ✌️🌱

I think I am now a regular at April’s Kitchen, it’s a great little ‘hidden gem’ where I come and get a quick breakfast or a quiet lunch during my visits to Knutsford from London. The space is vibrant and fun, I love the choice...

I like it here, it is cozy, tasty and a bit trendy. The food is good but when i ordered they didn't have the right thing and swapped a bunch of stuff. It was almost a different order when it came to me. 8/10

We have been many times for coffee and occasionally for breakfast, which was excellent by the way. This time we dropped in at lunch time and both enjoyed the superb club sandwich, which seemed a bit pricey but was actually well worth it. Nice friendly...

My Friend and I went to April’s for breakfast this morning and it was lovely. Great selection of breakfast choices . Well presented and staff very pleasant. We sat at the front , where it was lovely with a heater lamp on , would recommend.

Very tasteless food, no seasoning at all used in both our dishes. We had to send back but didnt want to bother with a replacement. Manager/waitress understanding but unfortunately wont be back

Friends and I visited Aprils on Saturday night around 10pm for a cocktail. Imagine our surprise when we were turned away at the door because the staff were too busy to serve us. Looking through to the bar we could see that tables were occupied...

Last minute Saturday brunch! Great place and we preferred to dine in the tables outside with heating! Huevos Rancheros with a side of sausages was amazing! Oh and decaf oat lattes were tasty!

Lovely food in this trendy cafe of Knutsford. Can be busy so take that into consideration if you want to go there.

My wife and I visited for brunch on the way home from Manchester and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The coffee was well presented, with a glass of water in the side and the food was beautiful. Highly recommended.
