Was looking for some food in the late evening and rang the pub. They were extremely accommodating and managed to get our order of starters, mains and deserts in before the kitchen closed, while giving us table service for our drinks. Incredibly friendly and helpful - a lovely visit.

We noticed this Pub on our journey heading to our hotel feeling hungry the name stood out so we pulled in to the back car park with lots of space an outdoor area for thous who smoke or a sunny position to sit. We were welcomed with a smile from Miguel and Tyler offering us a place to sit within. We explained we would like to see the menu to eat so Tyler offered us a table by the window in the restaurant. A lovely vibe to the pub and beautiful fire surround. Tyler told us of the special available and then took our order to eat. My husband and I chose the special chicken and leek pie with vegables. Oh my god beautiful dish large portion with mash and spring onions roasted carrots cabbage and broccoli. We enjoyed very much all washed down with a pint of Ginuess. We highly recommend this pub the service the food. I don't often write on trip advisor whilst away but credit were it's due. Glad we found this gem of a pub. If we pass through this way again then we will differently pop in. Thankyou Tyler and Miguel.

We decided to dine here rather than at our hotel and so glad we did a really nice evening with fab food service and ambiance. Would Definitely recommend you come and give it a try.... Stopped off for lunch on visit to Bollington. Really nice pub with lively food.

Although the restaurant was extremely busy we had a fantastic visit. The food was amazing and Miguel & Laila who served us were really helpful, friendly and attentive.

Absolutely gorgeous meal. Miguel and Tyla made our visit so welcoming, they couldn't do enough for us. Friendly and warm atmosphere and lovely pub. I had the sirloin steak and tried spring onion mash instead of the chips (which was no trouble to change) as I'd never tried it before and it was delicious!. My partner had the hunters chicken which he really enjoyed, with a well kept cask ale. Would definitely recommend this place, and hope to call in again.

Just want to thank Miguel and Jack for their efforts to make my Mum's birthday family meal such a success. The food was great, served just as we ordered it (via the app., thanks Tib), and they even turned the speaker down in our area so we could talk. Top pub and top blokes. Thank you.

We always enjoy going to vintage inns and have visited many but this one is very disappointing not clean or welcoming no service whatsoever even though there was only one other customer dinning and two having drinks. We paid and used our share holder discount and then spoke to the waitress to no avail. Perhaps you should send them all to the Talbot in Biddulph everyone there is wonderful.

Clean and freinly pub with attentive staff (Miguel ,Tyler and Layla)that went out of their way to make our evening perfect.The food was lovely(compliments to the chef)and good value for money we will definitely be returning.

Great service with quality food, Having suffered from ibs for years i tend to find it difficult to find things can eat but no such issues here as they are more than happy to adapt the dish either where possible removing the onion or garlic in my case or simple suggesting an alternate that would work or could be made to work. Great atmosphere in this recently extended pub/restaurant which i will be visiting again the the not to distant.

All delivered hot and well packaged. Very tasty. Only reason it wasn’t a 5 star review, the very small mash portion and small pot of gravy. Will order again.

Not been here for a while. Had the chicken, bacon & avocado salad which was perfect and plenty of it too. The steak sandwich was also very good. Nice wine and wainwright beer. Lovely service by Jack. All together a lovely experience. We will most definitely be back very soon. Thank you

As a biker I cannot give it five stars as I remember the place as it was - however the place, staff and buffet was excellent- and could not do enough. This was a private booking and was great. Good luck as a Gin Distillery and shop.

Great food, in a lovely location with plenty of parking. Includes an outdoor play park for small children You can sit outside and order via the QR code without the need to create an account.

We had a family meal here. Was our first time in here but from the time we sat down to the time we left we were very welcomed and the food were excellent. We had Hannah and she was brilliant and very attentive

Three of us had roast lamb, it was very tough and couldn't eat most it , I sent it back as it was too pink / bloody and it was still uneatable when they brought it back . The kids food wasn't very good either On the plus side service was great and atmosphere was good, id go back but only for a drink . The food needs a lot of improving.

We have dined here several times before and we have never been disappointed. The food is of a good standard as is the service. Miguel and Laila were very helpful and polite and they made our 5 year old granddaughter feel very special.

First time been in for about 10 years . Party of 10 Decent enough menu and the food was enjoyed by all . Fish and chips were lovely

Brilliant food drink and service

This is a lovely pub for a last minute meal out. Bar staff always welcoming and helpful. We had Tapas which was very tasty and beautifully cooked and excellent value for money. The puddings are to die for and presented so nicely. We were looked after and served by Jack, an absolute credit to this pub. 10/10 all round, this place is becoming a firm favourite. Thank you.

That roast turkey is delicious and the vegetables are one of my five a day so I enjoyed that today this lunch

One of the best quality pints you'll get in Bollington or Macclesfield, they keep their beer in superb condition, and the service is top-notch.

The food, drink and service was excellent. Hunters Schnitzel Chicken was the best we've had so delicious and fresh, the Lasagne also. Its top restaurant food at pub prices. Well done to the chef and all the Staff.

Called spec one Friday dinnertime , lovely decor , sat in two very comfortable chairs by the window , staff very friendly , beer good , we had the bar meal , choice of 3 of I think 6 dishes for £10 , around 6 large well cooked onion rings , a bowl of large Olives and the star was a superb hog roast sausage roll which has to be the best sausage roll we've ever had , all in all superb

The staff at the Cock and Pheasant were friendly and accommodating. We were served by Hannah who was exceptionally conscientious and vigilant when it came to accommodating our various food allergies, including one that isn't on the list of 14 allergies companies have to provide information about by law. She went above and beyond to ensure that we weren't served anything that would make us ill. The food was lovely - well presented, hot, and tasty - and they have a good menu selection. Unfortunately we weren't able to have any of the puddings because they all contained one or more of the things we're allergic to, which was a pity, though not uncommon with restaurants generally unfortunately.

Really nice evening meal, well-prepared and tasty. The service (Tyler) was excellent: attentive without being intrusive. Spot on, in other words, and sensibly priced too.

On a short break away I’m so glad my wife and I came across the Cock & Pheasant. The dining area was very warm and comfortable with a lovely atmosphere. A good, varied menu and all well priced. The food we had was superb. Many thanks to Carl and Jack who were welcoming, warm, friendly, attentive and efficient. 10 out of 10. Faultless all round.

Warm ambiance, lovely helpful staff, excellent buffet. Highly recommend. We were there for a wake of 40+ people and the service was wonderful, especially Miguel.

When we found out this was the only pub in Bollington serving food on a Monday night we didn’t want to expect too much. I’d eat here any night. Beautifully cooked and presented food that tasted delicious. Good value for money. We’d definitely return when we’re in the area again.

Could do with some more guest ales on the pumps had the same two for a long time.

Staying in a nearby hotel we decided to look for a village local to eat this evening - after looking through trip advisor we came across the Cock and Pheasant pub in Bollington SK10 5 EJ. What a find this place is - its awesome !! Great atmosphere, lovely genuine people who run it and what can I say about the food …………… If this was my local - I would move in. It was the best meal I have had in ages - well cooked and well presented - didnt we choose well !! Thankyou to Miguel and Tyler for a great meal and evening out.

Overall it was a great experience. Staff were great and very pleasant and gave us a warm welcome throughout the lunch. The food was extremely tasty, and well done, we all enjoyed are meals, from starter to main course. The price was reasonable, but overall the quality was good. The only gripe was that it was a little slow between courses, 90 mins during the week can be challenging although it was on this visit, that would be my only critic. I looks forward to visiting again.

Visited for Mothers Day, set menu on offer with a good choice of food. Our visit was late in the day so there were a few things not available but still lots of choice. Waited a while for our mains but plenty of food and tasty. Kids meals were good, just the right size. Staff were friendly and we were seated pretty much straight away. Table was only small for 5 people but we coped. Only issue is the ladies toilets which had some graffiti on the walls were people had written swear words which for a family pub is not good. Could just do with a lick of paint in there to cover it all up.

Brought our mum here for a lovely 3 course Mother’s Day lunch. The food was lovely - we certainly didn’t leave hungry - and very reasonably priced too! The staff were all very welcoming and friendly, especially Laila who looked after us so well. Thanks to all the team for helping us to make it a special day for our mum. Our first visit to the Cock & Pheasant; I’m sure it won’t be our last!

The pub is very friendly, welcoming pub with a nice atmosphere when you enter. Inside, there is a good bar with plenty of space for dining or sitting near the bar for drinks. With leather seats to flop in next to the log fire it makes for a very comfortable place to chat over a few drinks. The menu is very good, plenty of choice and the food is cooked and presented perfectly. Front of house, the team are very efficient, they know their trade and service is first class. Last night Miguel and the team were spot on. Highly recommend a visit to this pub, don't forget to get the Vintage app on your phone for plenty deals to be had.

Fantastic little country pub with great food run by Carl and the team. When the stove is on sat in the comfy seats it's one of the best places to watch the world go by if you ever get the opportunity!

There was a lovely atmosphere and we were made very welcome by the staff. The service was wonderful and the food delicious. They were very attentive and went out of their way to accommodate my gluten intolerance. The staff were friendly, helpful, patient and courteous and considerate in relation to my 92yr old Dad's needs.

Food cold, beef tough and was left as was the turkey. The roast potatoes were definitely not roasted and overall the experience was a let down. Table sticky and the whole place dirty. The curtains are filthy. First time there and last. .

Can not fault a thing. We came 2 days in a row, we had the 2 corse lunch menu for £15.90. The food was wonderful. Hot, good portions, and fresh. Service was spot on, and the interior was clean and welcoming. I wish we lived closer because if I did, it would 100% be my local. Good selection of drinks and the choice of table service in the restaurant or more relaxed in the bar area. Dog friendly aswell!
