Wonderful fresh food. Great atmosphere to be able to talk and relax. Staff very helpful with dietary needs. Looking forward to returning.

Called after seeing the place had changed hands, much cleaner and brighter than the last visit. Great menu choices, the 'Out of Africa@ experience is marvellous, the seafood incredibly fresh and the steaks you cook at your table on a hot stone. We all enjoyed every dish we had and would not hesitate to call again, would definitely recommend the establishment to anyone.

As if the magnificent surroundings and resplendent building are not enough, the quality of home made delights on offer, make this 'up there' with some of the best tea rooms I've visited. Home made bread, quiches, cakes... hot drinks served in China ware - utterly delicious! You are transported back to another era, a taste of the finer things. Enjoy!

We had a brilliant meal and overnight stay with a large group of friends. The rooms are superb and spotlessly clean. Friendly welcome, service was excellent and breakfast was a treat. Parking is no problem for customers as long as you enter your registration at the bar. It is no wonder they restrict parking in the location they are in.

Iāve been go in to The Swan with Two Nicks for about 15 years. The food has always been excellent until this Sunday the 3rd November2024 for 12.00 lunch. A very rude member of staff just said your in the corner table for 5, didnāt even bother to escort us properly to the table. 35 mins later the food arrives very poor quality processed food, the portions were absolutely rubbish, any way the bill was Ā£180.00 and this is the last time we will ever eat in this place. Whatās wrong with the management!!

I was down for a family event with my mum recently and stayed at the Kilton. The rooms were fine, with comfy beds, you could hear a little noise from the hall way but I had a comfy sleep both nights, my only complaint about the room was that it was quite cold when we arrived and the heating appeared to be a storage heater that didn't work, we raised this with the hotel and someone was meant to come and look at it but I'm not sure this actually happened, but at the end of the day it was warm enough at night. We only had breakfast at the restaurant so can't comment on the meals too much, however I enjoyed breakfast both mornings. The staff were polite and friendly particularly George who got a lesson in Whisky pouring from my mum! If I was down again I'd happily stay here

Used to be quite good, but gone down the pan. Soup, now I can make better. Appearance and texture of cheap packet stuff. Chips, now how do you manage to serve hot chips and cold chips in the same serving? Poached salmon fillet; thin piece of tail end, over cooked and dry. Got to get your own cutlery, sort of like self service. Staff doing their best, but run off their feet. Really disappointing and dare I say it, overpriced š«¤

Just awful. Overpriced (Ā£3.55 for a small bottle of coke is just madness!!!). Jacket potatoes were undercooked, flavour-less and no butter. All portions were incredibly small. Nothing positive to say, we felt really ripped off! Over Ā£30 for a kids lunch box, kids jacket potato (tiny) and 1 adults jacket potato. It really did put a dampener on what was a lovely day out!
