I had avocado on sour dough toast with two porched eggs, chilli, lime, tomatoes, rocket, lemon and it was absolutely delicious. In fact it was the best avocado breakfast I have ever had. The eggs were cooked to perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants excellent quality food for a very good price. I will definitely be returning for more, thank you.

This is a great little cafe with plenty of variety on the menu and reasonably priced too. The service is good and the food quality and presentation was spot on. If I could criticise at all I would say that the two salads we ordered laced a little bit of imagination, they could have added a few extra ingredients to bling it up.

We thoroughly enjoyed a French evening with a French wine flight. It was one of the nicest wine flights we have ever had. The food was delicious. Robert the sommelier was engaging and amusing. We weren't sure what to expect but it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. All guests were on one long table which was a refreshing change.

A pre birthday meal we planned for tonight. We weren't staying here but down the road at a spa hotel. We'd looked at the menu and reviews prior to coming. We ordered the burrata and Scotch Egg for starters. We had the fish pie and orzo for mains followed by pannacotta & mousse for pudding. Service was great, really quickly to take orders, drinks served and food. Food quality was excellent. Pricing on the mid range to expensive but well worth it. Presentation spot on. We left having had a beautiful meal. Highly recommend

Photographs of the two rooms with open fires look delightful, especially the room with the old fashioned range and hearth, but it seems there is every chance, even if you book weeks in advance, you won't be seated in either but placed in a small room at the rear warmed only with electric heaters. This room should be reserved for walk-ins, or have it made clear when booking - you must book by phone - that you will not be sitting in one of the rooms featured prominently on the website, or, indeed, online reviews. You have an unspoilt interior but this unsatisfactory arrangement is like a throwback to a time when pubs did not have to try too hard. This wasn't putting off punters on the night we visited however. The small bar area was packed. And although there was nobody at all sitting in one of the dining areas with open fire we were informed all of these tables were reserved and directed to the back room. Food may be a notch above average for a regular pub but is short of gastro standard. There appears to be some work going on at the rear currently. Difficult to find a space and several inconsiderately parked vehicles.

Great restaurant serving exceptional Chinese dishes. Never visited before, wanted a restaurant near the train station I was being picked up from and this was on our way home. Ordered crispy duck for two with pancakes and hoi sin, followed by two more dishes and rice. Lots of choice of drinks. Owner came over and chatted to us, very friendly atmosphere, would certainly recommend and if we are in the area again definitely visit.

Called in for lunch before we went to Ribby Hall. It was full inside but there were tables outside, however a table became available and we were able to sit inside. The service was excellent and the staff were really friendly. There was a specials board which had tapas on too. I had the home made sausage roll, which came with salad, mustard and relish,my daughter had the chicken and bacon Caesar salad and we shared some skin on fries. All the food was delicious, great quality. It’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere. The cakes on the counter looked delicious too.

Had a great experience at Juniper in Hale! The food was genuinely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambience was equally impressive, with a warm and relaxed vibe that made the whole evening really enjoyable. Special mention to Sanu, who served us – he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Overall, a lovely place with great food, atmosphere, and service.
