Great food at reasonable prices, fantastic staff - they gave our little boy colouring book and crayons - best breakfast on the street and they have cold beer too.

Highly recommended....food was excellent....massive portions too ...we took home a doggy bag

Every year Temptations provide ready prepared Christmas dinners for people like me who find christmas dinner too stressful. Everything is boxed up and all you have to do is heat it up. We ordered 2 meals but one was enough on for us on Christmas Day. We received cracker and a mince pie, meat there was enough for both of us, roast and boiled potatoes, carrot and swede, brocholi, stuffing, pig in blanket and gravy. Everything was cooked to perfection. You hace to collect your meal on Christmas eve and everything is bagged up.

Second year running we've used the takeaway Christmas dinners, picked up on Christmas eve. Food was fantastic, absolutely loads - perfect stress free dinner, and we would have spent more making it from scratch.

This is the best place for breakfast in Liverpool. We go most weeks and the staff are great and so is the food!

Just had a Sunday roast it was absolutely delicious. We both ordered the large roast beef and we couldn't finish it. The staff were great and couldn't have done enough for us. This is our first time but definitely won't be our last.

Love It there. I go on the weekend and I love to get a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is so nice. I Recommend coming to temptations cafe.

Have recently ordered and collected two Sunday Roast Dinners to eat at home. Absolutely delicious. Tastes just as good as home cooking.Huge extremely generous portions. Fresh well cooked vegetables, carrot and turnip mash, cabbage with lardons, broccoli, boiled potatoes, roast potatoes. Stuffing and Yorkshire pud. Choice of three meats and plenty of gravy. We are rather fussy and can honestly say we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Good value for such quality and amount of food.No washing up afterwards, what's not to like. Well done Temptations.

Let down by no card payments, only cash

Wow. I have been coming to Temptations for years, but always either for a full english/breakfast food with the kids, or one of the amazing thai green chicken currys (try it!)- But I don’t know why, I had never been for a Sunday Roast! On a whim I rang up in the morning and asked to book for a table of 6 for 1pm- not a problem. When we arrived it was chock full, we were shown our table and had our drinks taken and was warned there was a bit of a wait on food, but it was worth the wait. We had 4 adults and 2 kids with us, 2 ordering a roast, 2 ordering a curry (telling you, try it!) 1 black pepper pasta (another temptys’ classic!) and a chicken burger and chips. The first thing to hit the table was the BIGGEST tray of veg- carrot and swede, little crispy new pots, brocolli & cabbage with bacon bits- and this was just for 1 of the roasts-heaven. Then the plate with the meat arrived, with 3 huge roasties, a crisp yorkshire pud and a beautiful hand made sausage and red onion (I think) stuffing ball, with a STACK of perfectly cooked beef- along came a huge gravy boat to accompany, filled with thick rich, slightly black peppery gravy. Wow. We wolfed down as much as we possibly could, and they happily gave us a tub to take back anything we couldn’t finish. An absolute bargain price in the current climate, and I’ve got lunch done for tomorrow. The girls in there take such good care of you, and even when theyre run off their feet the food comes with a smile, piping hot and delicious.

It's difficult to get consistently good meals but here you can. The staff and owner are polite friendly and attentive to your needs but not in your face with it all through your visit. The food is consistently good and cooked brilliantly with a menu with loads of variety.

Not been here for a while had my grandkids overnight so decided on Temptations for breakfast, one had bacon barm and the other sausage barm and apple juice I opted for the medium breakfast just about finished it plenty for a breakfast and a nice coffee. Lovely food nice welcome we will return

We went for a late breakfast and as usual the quality of food was outstanding, the staff are friendly, welcoming and very efficient.

I am only visiting in the area but was glad I chose this place for lunch today. Chicken burger and fries were all fantastic, fresh and tasty. All other meals I saw being served around me looked great as well. Very friendly staff. Thank you for making a quick meal memorable :)

After a LONG walk on Crosby Beach, we were looking for a bite to eat. We Googled chippy's and found one on this street. It was empty, and as we all know, you don't buy food at an empty chippy. So, we came here. I'm glad we did. We both ordered a hot beef + onion baguette with a side salad and beefy gravy. Bloody, lovely. We each got two small baguettes that were fully loaded with beef strips and fried onions, a side salad, coleslaw, and a full gravy boat. We also had a tea 🍵 and a coffee ☕️ and the whole thing came to £17. Pretty good value. There were lots of other people eating so the place was busy, which is always a good sign. And the trade they were doing with takeaway Sunday roasts was mental!! There was a constant stream of people coming in to collect a takeaway Sunday dinner 🍽. I've NEVER seen that before but I was happy to see it. What a great idea 💡 All in all, if you're hungry and want some decent, reasonably priced food, then you could do much worse than come here. This is a good spot and we will be returning for sure. Cash only though so, get to the cash machine before you arrive. Well done Temptations, see you soon!!

Breakfast was delious, staff where friendly and the service was excellent.

We first discovered this little oasis yesterday and enjoyed it that much we returned for a second time today with our family! The ambiance, the staff and the food all exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. Caitlin was our server yesterday and today she remembered us and greeted us with a warm welcome. We are moving to the area and will definitely be visiting on a regular basis. Thank you

Lovely place with nice interior. Hot chocolate with cream was divine. They didn't have what I ordered so the waitress recommended me the chicken madras and it was beautiful! Soooo many menu options. Everything seemed to be cooked freshly, which meant that it took a bit of time to arrive, but it was worth it.

Without a doubt the BEST cafe in Crosby/Waterloo. Food is amazing. Never had a bad meal there. Breakfasts are to die for as for the salt + pepper chips, beats any chippy absolutely gorgeous. Had a BLT there today nicest I've ever tasted. Lovely family run business with a really nice inviting atmosphere. Cannot recommend this cafe enough. Once you've been there you'll never want to go anywhere else

Visited here for breakfast as a group of four. Service was good, staff were friendly and food was lovely however we did have to wait quite a while for the food to come out although we appreciate they were busy. Wouldn’t put us off returning again- thank you!

Hemos estado yendo a Temptations durante mucho tiempo y siempre disfrutamos mucho de nuestra visita hasta hoy.Habíamos reservado para 2 de nosotros a las 12. 30 y cuando llegamos nos dijeron que tendríamos que esperar entre 40 y 50 minutos. . . aparentemente, había entrado otra multitud (no estoy seguro de si habían reservado). Pensé que el hecho de que habíamos reservado significaba que nos servirían como siempre.Aprecio que fue un almuerzo ajetreado, pero nos decepcionó mucho. Fuimos a otro lado pero nos sentimos decepcionados

Went here for breakfast today, have been here previous of time and always been good. Todays visit was good too but just had to wait for our breakfast for a bit too long. Just over 30 minutes hence giving 4 stars.

Always get great food when I come here. The chilli is my favourite but the baguettes and the breakfasts are amazing too. All the staff are really friendly.

Good size portion of food was nice but down side we waited for 1hr for 1 breakfast and 2 butties was given a complimentary tea. The price point for there standard breakfast is Ridiculous therefore will not be attending again

What a fabulous place. We stopped for breakfast which was wonderful. Very tasty and filling served by friendly staff and was very good value for money. The menu was quite extensive so will be back to try lunch next time.

Mesas agradables, barra tipo desayuno, no todas regimentadas e iguales, pero agradables a la vista.Pedí un sándwich de tocino y huevo y una taza de té.Me alegro de que ya no vivo en la zona, ya que no sería bueno para mi figura, ya que este sándwich fue uno de los mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo.Bien servido: mucho tocino, huevo que no goteó por todo el plato, pero no un yugo duro o seco. Fue tan bueno.Sin duda volveré cuando esté en la zona.Bien vale la pena una visita.

Temptations is a great place to visit if not the best, the food is 100% the staff are very friendly, and reasonably priced, but you don't mind paying abit extra for top quality food I recommend temptations 100%

Boss little cafe, good portions

He vivido en Waterloo toda mi vida y nunca antes había estado aquí. Buscando un lugar local para llevar a mi mamá y papá al cumpleaños de mamás de abeto, pensamos en probarlo. Muy contento de haberlo hecho. Limpio, bonita decoración ecléctica, personal amable y comida deliciosa! Entre los 4 tuvimos un jamón, huevo y papas fritas, pollo y papas al estilo cazadores, un curry, arroz y papas fritas, huevos revueltos en pan tostado y un lado adicional si papas fritas, 3 tés y una coca cola. Todos estuvieron de acuerdo en que sus comidas eran calientes, frescas y sabrosas y con poco más de 31. 00 por todo eso, una ganga absoluta. Nos quedamos realmente sorprendidos con la variedad de alimentos disponibles y esperamos volver a probar el domingo asado.

Everything about temptations is amazing the food is to die for! My favourite meal of all and it is really hard to choose is the Thai green curry!! You have to try it!! It is a family run business and the owners are so friendly. My favourite place to eat!

Decided to stop at Temptations for lunch as been passed many times but not been in.

Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance of the café, as inside it’s clean and roomy, with excellent food on offer. I had the ploughman’s lunch which was everything I wanted it to be. Plenty of cheese and pickle, fresh salad and some of the best ham I’ve had in a while. All served with a smile. If I was local I’d eat there every day!

Just love temptations, all food is homemade and freshly cooked.

We visit here about twice a month and are never disappointed. The food is delicious. They add new specials all of the time and today's is crispy salt and pepper chicken wrap with salt and pepper chips, very tasty and I'd get it again and that's how I am with all of the food here, that's why we return so regularly.
