The best restaurants serving British food in North West

This was the best carvery that I've had in years n years 😊 The food was so tasty and you got a really good portion of meat too,The staff were really nice and very helpful as well. Id defo recommend going for one and to top it off we got 25% off the complete bill for downloading the Toby App 😊

There was only 3 of us in. However the time of day makes the difference it was 4pm on Saturday. Food was lovely and service was quick.

I have always loved coming to the summit with my family and friends.I had the pleasure of being served drinks by Georgia F and I can't say enough good things about the experience. She was very welcoming and pleasant, as all the staff our. Would definitely recommend!

The Boathouse seems to have got everything right, just quirky enough to stand out without being over the top, perfect location, beautiful relaxing restaurant where you can watch life on the river. Could have sat watching the ducks for hours. Rooms were newly refurbished, clean and had everything you could need. Free parking. Really made special by lovely welcoming staff from our early arrival to breakfast. Thanks, would definitely recommend.

Not good food at all better off going to macdonalds up the road. Very quiet dirty floors, car park is filthy with rubbish everywhere, staff pleasant enough though.

Nos alojamos en el Premier Inn por una noche, así que planeamos utilizar el pub Yeadon Way para nuestra cena y unas cuantas bebidas por la noche después de un día en la playa de recreo, ya que estaba al lado. Pronto nos dimos cuenta de que el pub está cerrado al público y solo abierto durante las comidas a los huéspedes que se alojan en el hotel y es necesario reservar. Reservamos para la comida, éramos cuatro de nosotros y después de que nos sirvieron coca plana no una sino dos veces nuestra “comida” llegó a la mesa. De los cuatro de nosotros solo un plato de comida era comestible esto resultó ser una pizza. Los otros platos de comida, una hamburguesa de pollo y nachos de chile eran repugnantes. La guindilla se parecía al lodo acuoso marrón que estaba solo ligeramente por encima de la temperatura ambiente y olía más a comida para gatos que a guindilla. La “hamburguesa de pollo” era un goujon de pollo procesado seco que apenas era más grande que un nugget de pollo que también estaba solo caliente. Por primera vez llamamos la atención del personal de espera y les dijimos que solo estábamos dispuestos a pagar por las bebidas y la pizza, ya que el resto de la comida era terrible y no podíamos comerlo. El personal de espera era servicial y en realidad sentimos pena por ellos, ya que parecía que estaban bastante acostumbrados a este tipo de quejas y cambió nuestra factura sin duda.

Decided to have breakfast here before flight. Excellent service by Luci, she was friendly and eased my worries of flying alone. Service was very quick atmosphere was great and breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

Horrible horrible awful experience. Food was horrendous sausages cold and took ages to come out. Sent mine back for a refund and had chips instead. Would not reccomend. Another user reviews saying they were given an excuse the chef was busy and that’s why ordered were taking a long time. The venue replied saying this shouldn’t have been given as an excuse however that same excuse was given today. Rubbish. Food clearly isn’t greasy as they’re clearly microwaving the already cooked food and forgot to put the sausages in.

We have visited this pub on numerous occasions over the years, and generally enjoyed it. However, we visited for lunch (Saturday 23rd) and were really disappointed. Firstly we made the mistake of eating in the bar, very cliquey, the ladies working in the bar were far more concerned with the regulars than myself and my wife, but that is fine, we were there for food nothing else ( they also turned over the television while I was watching the football, but hey ho) Now to the food, I don’t know if this place has changed hands/chef/ suppliers or all three, but the food was terrible, the pate that used to be so tasty was awful, the onion rings, were so greasy and tasteless, the cheese and onion pie was stodgy like damp cement, and the coffee like dishwater. The chips, chutney and sauces were very nice though Did we complain, no we did not, the reason being,the ladies behind the bar were completely dis-interested in us, didn’t ask if we enjoyed our food or wanted any dessert, we finished, paid and left, probably never to return, it is a real shame that this place has fallen so far, it was a real gem, WAS!!

food is always great from here and its always a lovely environment, will always recommend, me and my friends always eat here... but the chairs are in dyer need of a clean, felt like we need to sit on our coats to avoid it and noticed other people swapping chairs too to avoid the worst ones, hopefully they are due to get someone in soon to do this, just a little off putting when eating
