Great food last few times we have visited, becoming a regular!! Good value for money Staff very friendly and helpful Keep it up summit 👩‍🍳

Chose to visit this pub for a meal as it looked lovely and was dog friendly. On arrival there were plenty of parking spaces in the free car parks which are at the front and side of the building. There's quite a few steps up to the main doors and then a few again just inside up to the bar. But this pub apparently has disabled access but I personally didn't see where If you wanted to sit outside there's lots of seating and at night the warm lighting makes it look really inviting. Some outdoor seating at the side are undercover which is great for those typical British rainy days, they're also wheelchair accessible. Inside there's an area for those with dogs but I was more than happy with my table as it was near the bar. It's a good big pub with lots of seating throughout. I really liked the layout and decor it was big yet felt cozy. There's a pool table, dartboard, tvs for the footy and a couple of fruits machines too. Everything you need to help make a great pub. When it came to ordering food and drink this is where my compliments aren't as complimentary unfortunately. I ordered a pint of lager and a lime & soda which came to £6.90! My glass of soda was only 2/3rds full because I asked for no ice so I wasn't impressed about that. The food menu has a good selection of starters mains and desserts and charges the kind of prices most pubs these days charge but there wasn't a good selection of Vegetarian mains options so I had to get three little starters unfortunately. As for ordering, you can either order from your table via an app or at the bar. I opted to go to the bar but I wasn't happy at being asked if I wanted my change! I also wasn't too thrilled when the waitress came to clear the table and informed us for no particular reason that she didn't like dogs! Charming lol! Overall I would definitely recommend a visit as I really liked the pub itself, I'll definitely go again for a drink if I'm in the area (hopefully I'll get a full glass next time haha).

The pub has been refurbished to a high standard and has a very nice vibe. The main menu pricing is a little high but there are plenty of deals you can use such as the Senior menu (open to all ages) and 2 for 1. The staff are friendly and the service is nice. Unfortunately the food quality recently has declined quite a bit. With food leaving the kitchen without being checked or causing us upset stomachs afterwards. As this has happened to several of us at the same time only this pub could be responsible. It's a great shame as coming here for the senior menu was a great deal, at three smaller courses for 7.50. We won't be returning due to the food issues having put us off but really do hope they turn this around and get the kitchen back in order. I can't recommend the Sunday lunch as the turkey option is slices from packets and the beef was under or over cooked a few times until we decided to eat elsewhere. A great shame.

I have always loved coming to the summit with my family and friends.I had the pleasure of being served drinks by Georgia F and I can't say enough good things about the experience. She was very welcoming and pleasant, as all the staff our. Would definitely recommend!

No attention to food after leaving kitchen

I come here with my dad a lot. We enjoy it Everytime. Food is really worth the cost, affordable prices. Staff are always really happy to help, lots of choice on the menu

Family treat and thoroughly enjoyed it

We visited The Summit on Sat 8th March@ 6pm. We were celebrating my 70th birthday my wife son and grandson. My wife and I have eaten here once a week useuly midweek for the past 3 months and we recommended the place to my son. He and my grandson shared a platter which the chicken was dry and looked like it had been warmed up several times. This wasn't eaten the mac cheese was dry and cool. The chips were warm only just totaly dissapointing. My XL mixed grill was poor. The chicken was dry and looked enemic the sausage was cold and dried up half the chips were cold and half hot not happy. However my wife stuck with her usual the Stake & Ale pie with mash and as usual she was happy. I could only put the poor food and service that It was a Saturday and it was very busy. I have left this review so that can try to correct this as I am sure that I was not an isolated incident. Regards Gary & Maureen

Love the place usually come for the Thursday quizzes but even when no quizzes are on its pretty chill and a nice place to eat

Our go to pub whatever the mood. Food is always spot on and staff are always super friendly and always ready to help. Tonight we had the pleasure of being Served by Georgia F and she honestly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best service. If you're looking for low cost pub grub with a variety of choices and a brilliant atmosphere, and staff to match. Not to forget they're very dog friendly and even have treats and water for your furry friends. Then this is the place to go 👌

Yeah, it's ok actually. Drinks sat on the bar way too long before being brought out, food was decent.

Don't expect cash ale,even though they have 3 hand pumps. They always seem to be empty.

Nice meal on valentines night with great offers on the menu very good prices only thing to watch out for is food stops at 9 pm so go early if you want a pudding

We met at friends at the summit for lunch and to say I haven’t eaten at the summit for a good numbers of years I was pleasantly surprised. Food was great, service was good and our son can be a fussy eater and he enjoyed it too. He said he’d like to go back so that is a real accolade in itself. Only slightly marked down as the pub was a bit cold, even with a jacket on. Would certainly go again though.

Can be hit and miss pay for what you get

Nice pub but can be a little expensive, A good choice of beers. At the moment they have a great deal on the beer so worth a visit. Update it's gone even more expensive will probably look else we're..

Lovely food,great family atmosphere, friendly staff

Brilliant place to eat, staff are friendly attentative, nothing is ever too much trouble. It is always clean. The food is delicious, always warm. They have darts, pool table, plenty of seating, screens to watch football while you eat/drink. Love this place

I have been coming here for years and always recommended it to anyone who was looking for good, fresh, food but tonight 22/01/2025 we brought our daughter who was pregnant and her boyfriend from Belgium, to say we were so disappointed is a understatement, my daughters eggs were not cooked properly so it was sent back and thay replaced it, the sausages were like rubber and the gammon was full of fat, her boyfriend found a long hair through his steak, we won’t be going again, plus my son had his usual chicken wings and said that didn’t taste nice at all x

Had an amazing experience this afternoon made even better by Lewis our bar staff. Nothing was too much trouble and went above and beyond to make our even better

We got to this pub for the first time. We was welcomed with a very professional lady called Georgia. She was very helpful in or stay here. She made are visit very pleasant. She need to me recommend for this service. We will be back. Thank you Georgia x

We ordered from the table with QR code our visit was for a birthday celebration our daughter's 15th. The food was delicious and the greetings upon arrival and customer service was very good, excellent service and very full tummies. Thank you for making another visit one to remember and we will definitely be returning.

Stumbled across the Summit Inn Oldham whilst searching for a new 'local'. Having tried a couple of other places, I can confidently say that this is one of the best in the area! A Greene King/Flaming Grill pub, those familiar with the chain will know what to expect in terms of food and drinks offerings, and having sampled both, they are well up there in terms of range & quality. I have had the pleasure of meeting most of the staff; a very friendly, welcoming and accommodating bunch to say the least. 'Dog-friendly' is putting it mildly. There is a nice area specifically for those with furry companions, along with complimentary water dispenser, bowls and treats. And if you fancy giving them a treat, they also sell 'doggie ice-cream'. Plenty of large screens, showing a whole range of sports (download the Greene King sport app to see what's showing, with the added benefit of 10% off drinks, as well as other offers/free drinks if you try the score predictor!). Entertainment wise, there's a lively Quiz night every Thursday, as well as other events from time to time, along with a well kept pool table and dart board. There is quite a big emphasis on charity and community here also. There is a community board where people can post business cards/flyers etc. and events throughout the year with proceeds/donations to charity. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to pay a visit, whether for a quiet afternoon drink, socialising with friends, a pit-stop after a walk up/around Tandle Hill, or for a family get together with some top-notch pub-grub. Highly recommend you stop by, you won't be disappointed!

Visited over Christmas and New Year, will definitely be calling back. Really nice pleasant atmosphere, food was great and the staff really friendly especially the 2 girls on the bar Rebecca and Savannah happy to chat and very knowledgeable

Visited yesterday for a lovely meal. Staff were great, Victoria was excellent taking orders and making sure we were happy with our meal and drinks.

Excellent service from Mia, food perfectly cooked and really hit the spot. All members of the party truly satisfied. Manager Mike made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recommend it.

I recently visited this wonderful restaurant and had an overall fantastic experience. The atmosphere was absolutely stunning, earning a solid 5 stars. The decor was modern and inviting, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening. The service was also impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made sure everything was perfect. As for the food, it was delicious and well-prepared. The only slight letdown was the dessert, which didn't quite match the high standards set by the rest of the meal. Despite this, I would highly recommend this restaurant for its wonderful atmosphere and excellent service.

Was told there would be a wait for the food, we waited an hour which I dont think is,acceptable. The food when it finally arrived was lukewarm, although it tasted ok. We weren't asked if everything was ok until we had almost finished eating. Looked to be short staffed in all areas. Also the steps at the back entrance are totally unlit and so is the car park I work in health and safety and this is extremely dangerous, as a business you have a duty of care to your customers

Another great meal here.been a few times now with the kids. Food always good, plentiful and good value for money.The staff are excellent, friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. We will be back soon.

Came here with partner for a mid-week meal, first time coming here. We ordered chicken tender and halloumi fries for starters both was nice and fresh along with the sweet chili and BBQ sauce that went with them. Then for mains I had the signature tandoori tempress burger thing and partner had the bacon and cheese burger, both tasted lovely although the onion barji was a bit too wet and the onion rings weren't as crispy they were bit soggy. Then for dessert I had the epic chocolate sundae and partner had chocolate fudge cake with vegan ice cream. The vanilla ice cream on my sundae was a bit mediocre and the chocolate was nice. However, I tasted my partner's vanilla vegan ice cream and that was absolutely so nice! Wish I had requested it instead of my vanilla. All in all a nice meal out

Visited here with a friend for lunch. We had a lovely time. The staff were wonderful and funny, the food was incredibly tasty and there was a lovely chilled atmosphere. There is a pool table and tvs around for the sports side and then quieter seating for families. We will, no doubt, be using The Summit Inn for our future meet up lunches. Thanks Team

Lovely Sunday roast! Throughly enjoyed our meal out, we all ordered roast dinners! Food was amazing. The staff were brilliant, very welcoming. We will be back again soon.

The food was okay, but they need to invest in a decent cleaner carpets are filthy and toilets not nice handrails were sticky and would not go back there

The food was absolutely disgusting it was absolutely freezing. I sent it back, and it came back worse. The chicken and the corn on the cob were watery, The service by the young lady was amazing she was run off her feet but definitely need to change chef's!!!!!

Visited today and had to wait an hour for food. When it finally did arrive, my food had stuff on which I requested to have taken off, so then I had to wait a further 25 mins for my food to arrive. Once it did, the rest of my party had eaten theirs. Also, when my food arrived, it was missing items that I didn't ask to be taken off.

We sat in the terrace and the tables hadn't been cleaned and it was quite untidy. Could do with a sweep. However I ordered 8 chicken wings with nashville sauce, flame grilled steak flatbread with nashville sauce and the lunch fries. The chicken wings were juicy and tender, the steak cooked to perfection and the fries were hot and crispy. I was very happy with my food and wasn't expecting it to be so good.

Visited this evening and had a gorgeous meal, I had the cheeseburger and chips and my husband had the mixed grill. The food was of very high quality and plentiful. Staff are polite and happy to help in any way. Definitely well worth a visit.

Went 2/10/2022 with my wife and 3 children.. First problem was that my children couldn't cut up the sausages as they were vegetarian and overcooked. I went for the steak pie and mash which contained nothing but gristle. My wife had chicken wings that weren't all wings. She also had topped waffle fries served luke-warm with stringy bits of bacon that seemed to have been boiled.

Had a mixed grill here Wednesday gave me a bad stomach for 2 days.. flys flying all over while you try to eat never again

Booked a meal for me my daughter and two grandchildren took over 49 minutes to arrive and when it did it was burnt tasteless that was the Sunday dinner my grankids meals was very small plain and unappetising they didn’t eat it

Absolutely fabulous for a night out. Brilliant for food and a good catch up with friends. Love to watch the sport there with a brilliant atmosphere.

Service was very very slow. Staff took about 20 mins for drinks to be brought over in the end went bar to collect ourselves.

Food not the best. Took quite a while to get meals which was surprising as it wasn't busy. One of the burger meals was only tepid. Price wasn't too bad.
