Yates's in Blackpool

Excellent service and lovely food. I would recommend calling in here if you're in Blackpool. Staff are very friendly and do enough for you.

We were in Yates Blackpool last night for my son’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond for us and were exceptional. Would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to celebrate any type of occasion with family and friends. We couldn’t have asked for more and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ben and the team.

Andrew the chefs food was excellent, beer was very cold. Excellent service from all staff, one interrupted his lunch just for service 😀 top class

The Atmos feels great the food was excellent and Chris and Andy a very good but the food the surf is brilliant the atmosphere was good and the bar staff were good and polite

I've been coming for over 10 years ever since my accident all the staff that have come and gone have been amazing for me and appreciate everyone When dom was General manager he let me have a chair at the end of the bar because of my accident when dom left ben took over and he let me keep my spot at the end of the bar. I really appreciate all the help the team has done for me in the last 5 years

I visited Yates today Laura and Lauryn have excellent customer service skills pub nice and clean. Have a few pints most days and staff have good sense of humour.

Excellent Sunday afternoon, busiest place in the area! So I stayed for a few more drinks rather than going to other empty places. Great bar prices, great atmosphere with the games downstairs & sports showing upstairs. Hats off to the DJ Kieron who came round asking if we had any favourite songs (which he did play) & hosting the games. Will definitely return when back in Blackpool :-)

Came here on by chance on Christmas day, offers were great and felt like Christmas. The 2 gentleman in red behind the bar were so funny and kept us all entertained. For a random evening, we got lucky... thank you Oh I did finish the food 5*

Wow what can I say. Only second time in the venue. The dj Keiron remembered us and played a tune we asked for last time. He is very approachable in what you want playing also played a wide variety of songs. The barman Desmond was first class he also remembered mine and my wife's drinks from last time. We was only calling in for 1 but with service like this we stayed 3 hours. Thank you very much guys we will be back

Loving the new Sunday afternoons with DJ Keiron. Will definately be a must for us next time in Blackpool.

Sunday afternoons excellent with the addition of DJ Keiron, music requests played at a reasonable volume for the time of day, lots of fun with the games & cash prizes to be won, also very reasonably priced drinks, good food & excellent service :-)

Been to this establishment 3 times in 4 days and let just say it was brilliant too service too staff always looking to help and so polite this will now quite simply be one our local just because the staff Jordan and Desmond made us so welcome and wood was great. This is a great comfortable and fun place many different atmospheres depends on the day and the time but truly truly a great place and a big name for Blackpool Jordan and Desmond top men top service with a smile every time thanks lads we are now regulars to Yates Blackpool.

Have been visiting here believe it or not for the first time considering we moved here 7 years ago and what a great place we have found, we decided to eat here as the food that has been served looked good so decided to eat tonight, food was lovely we had the festive burger and was fresh and hot. The 2 chaps behind the bar and serving food called Jordan and Desmond were very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome , every credit to them. This is possibly now going to be our local as we have now visited twice this week. Great service.

thurs 19 th oct called in for meal my mum in a wheelchair so easy access also had our little dog with us so not many welcoming pubs but yates was. ordered 3 fish and chips having owned a successful chip shop myself i know what i am talking about and the food was very good Owen our waiter very polite nothing was too much trouble even got a little bowl of water for Nelly. all in all fabulous so why havent i rated this 5 star. Well on the Friday me and my husband decided to call again for a meal after the fire works we were drenched. my husband wearing very expensive leisure wear and me wearing waterproof clothing as the weather was horrible. so we went across to yates only to be turned away as there was a dress code ? we are in our 60.s and felt embarassed its for this you dont deserve a 5 and you wont be having our custom again

Excellent night out at this long established Blackpool venue, made even better by the addition on DJ Kieron to the roster on a Friday evening. I've known Kieron for many years from the various venues that he has DJed in over the years and he came up trumps as usual. Great tunes and willing to play requests. Also the cheapest drinks in town if you have a loyalty card. A great night!

I was down in Blackpool for a few days and I went to Yate's 2 days in a row, because the food and service was so good.

Passing by when one of your customers 8pm sitting on the damp wet tables chairs outside after it has been raining all day thinking he was clever started grinning and smirking at me then nudging his fiance to join in. They passed some rude comments and kept turning round as I walked away from the venue towards North Pier, which I cannot repeat. I rang the venue and told staff to have a word immediately. I proceeded to wait further down Market Street to watch the staff come out, they didn't say a word to the customers but instead asked them if they wanted another drink and cleared the glasses on thier table. Unbelievable. What are Blackpool venues doing to act more responsibibly, just allowing thier customers to abuse the public.

Jordan, the bartender at Yates, impressed me with his top-notch mixology skills and friendly demeanor. Matt, the manager, ensured a great overall atmosphere, adding to the positive experience. I'll definitely be returning, thanks to their excellent service.

We're a bit past it for big nights out in Blackpool so usually have a daytime crawl and did enjoy calling in here. Good range of drinks, friendly staff and a set up that looks very good for watching sport on tv. The menu for food looked good too but we couldn't take advantage this time.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. The barmaid was not welcoming and has no customer skills whatsoever. She refused to serve my friend as she wanted 2 drinks. My friend walked out disgusted. I would strongly advise not to visit this venue 😠😠😠 While we were in it rained heavy and as you can see from the picture the building is also in need of repair

Ordered sausage and mash ....disgusting tasted reheated mash was awful sausages like rubber .....waitress miserable

We wanted to order a breakfast , Sunday , approx 11.30am we’re told coffee would be half an hour and breakfasts at least an hour . Already decided to go but had an orange juice (ordered at time of asking about food) … we sat next to a bunch of lads , 11 of them at two different tables. One had ordered A SLICE OF TOAST AND JAM … he had been waiting 45 minutes, one side came BLACK the other white. Out of the 11 guys , 4 of them hadn’t received their food. They didn’t complain , just asked - the ‘lady’ came over (blonde hair , bar staff) was so rude to the lads, shouting and not apologetic, it was cringy to watch. I was disgusted. Another lady walked out as she was waiting to be served. It was chaos. People work hard , to go out and eat etc …. Service and food , however priced should never be like that. That toast , three lads had exactly the same - shouldn’t have been allowed out of the kitchen. Those lads just laughed, but it wasn’t fair … and talking to other people it’s always like that. We walked round the corner back towards the town, found a lovely cafe and had a lovely meal.

Went here for a meal. Had only lemonade for soft drinks. Used the disabled toilet where someone had been sick and water had been flung over floor. I told the guy serving us and he said he knew but hadn't had time to clean it. There was about 25 people in the place. 45 minutes later it had still not been cleaned. The staff were rude and couldn't care less. The meal itself was good. Two families with children came in and walked back out. Would not use this place again. Stay clear

Such a great addition to Friday nights in this venue with the arrival of D.J. Keiron. An excellent mix of music and very helpful with requests. Creates a very entertaining atmosphere for a really enjoyable night out.
