Came across this place by accident and was a very fortunate find. Scrummy breakfast, very generous portion of high quality produce, coffee served in large cups. Selection of cooked breakfasts, filled baps and omelettes. The lunch menu looked equally tasty. Lovely farmshop selling variety of foods and gifts.

Low Lights was great - the food was tasty and fresh, the staff were really friendly. We visited with our 3 yr old son and our dog and were welcomed in with no trouble. Kids portion was giant but our boy gave it a good go! We’re big fans of Sam Fender so just had to visit the pub whilst we were in the area (we live in Hastings) and how good to see the Brit award in centre stage behind the bar as a beer pump! Next time we’re in the North we’ll be back for sure.

A secret garden on my door step. A hidden gem for a white velvet and a cake or too. Both really sweet and tasty. Friendly staff and its really cosy and beautifully decorated. Will have to come back to try a lunch and breakfast. We didnt book but we probably should for next time. I loved all the shops, I had 0 idea that they were there, good to know when I need birthday presents. The loos could do with some TLC, the dryer isnt the best.

Well the food might be first class but the "welcome" is definitely not ! We visit the island often at weekend through the year and, as it was Saturday, this cafe was open and allegedly pet friendly. However, we were stopped at the door. This is the third time we have been turned away because either " it is too full" (we looked through the window and it was not) or "we have stopped serving food" . Well on each visit the staff member bounced to the door so quickly to prevent us entering, he did not have time to find out what we wanted to order. Sad really, we used to go there and enjoy the ambience but after three refusals that's it. The Ship Inn , on the other hand, was very welcoming indeed. Choose carefully snackers.

We visited here on a Sunday without reservation, and seem that we were lucky to get seated as by the time our meal was put on the table, the room we were in was full. The staff were all really friendly and the food was really tasty and quality. We had the mixed Sunday roast with extra veg and roasties. We would definitely go again. Thank you. Can’t comment on the rooms, but everywhere downstairs was clean and well presented.

Brilliant little pub, definitely worth a visit. We didn't stay in the rooms, was just a stop off for a Sunday roast. Great food and dog friendly with a nice warm roasting fire - with an equally warm welcome. Ideal if you're on walks in the areas.

I went at the beginning of march for a family meal and the staff team catered to my family amazingly! Food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Providing CDs to cater for the elders music taste and were great for letting the little ones run around x
