First visited for lunch last October and were impressed with the food and beautiful views over the golf course and the sea beyond. Keen to visit again this year when back in the area and did not disappoint. Lovely light lunches, friendly staff and pleasant outdoor seating area. We will be back!

Walking back along the beach from Beadnell we took a chance a got a table for 2 on the veranda overlooking the golf course ( we hadn’t booked but managed to get the Sunday lunch ). We had the roast beef (silverside) and weren’t disappointed . This was a well cooked & nicely portioned lunch served by lovely staff . Would happily recommend this place & look forward to making another visit .

We had a lovely lunch at the golf club. The staff were super friendly and really polite. The food is simple, tasty and done very well. 10/10 to the cinnamon bun. My husband really enjoyed his steak pie and I had cod and chips all cooked to order. Delicious and great value.

After reading the good reviews, my wife and I plus dog visited today and the food was plentiful and absolutely lovely. In fact the best Sunday lunch I have had in ages. MY wife had beef and I had the pork with an extra portion of cauliflower cheese. Two rounds of drinks and a tip and it came to a very reasonable £38. The staff were lovely and we will be going back before we go home. Cant fault it. Thank you.

Been in today for Sunday lunch today could not fault it piping hot and everything was beautiful wife had turkey I had vegetarian Kiev both spot on and all the veg was lovely.Staff were very friendly and helpful could not do enough for us and our dog got a sausage so she was happy.Also Baileys Eaton mess to die for.Pity bar staff were exact opposite .

Had a delicious lunch here today which I highly recommend. I chose the roast pork which came topped with a huge crisp Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, crispy crackling,apple sauce, roast and mash potato, parsnip, red cabbage, swede, carrot and lovely gravy. We also paid extra and had cauliflower with cheese sauce. It was very good value and one of the best Sunday roasts I've had. The desserts all sounded good but I chose a Biscoff caramel cake with ice cream and it was amazing. We chose to sit outside as the weather was good and lovely views but inside looked really nice too. Our waitress was excellent, very friendly and efficient. Would definitely go here again.

Popped in for a coffee and a cake. Friendly staff, good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Saw a potion of fish and chips served to another table and will return and sample ourselves.

Luckily this place has a dog friendly corner. Food and service was incredible. We had a Sunday lunch which was so good. Dog was even spoilt with a sausage given by the staff.

The full English breakfast was amazing, just what was needed before heading out.

Played with better-half Jinny today on the Seahouses golf course. Weather was cloudy windy day with some drizzle but the course played either very long or very short depending on which way you were playing. Green had been holed and filled but still played fast. Anyway after being beaten yet again we decided to eat in the clubhouse. We took 2 pots of tea and 2 different curries and both were excellent and then had 2 varieties of home made cakes and again both were delicious. As always I ask myself if I would pay and play again and would I eat there again- and yes I would . The staff couldn’t do enough for us. So have a go and if you get half as good as us you won’t be disappointed.

It is a bit of pot luck if you can get a table in high season. And there's a reason for that. They've reduced their menu a bit this year but still super value and a great choice of food. The staff are really helpful and everyone very welcoming.

Gorgeous tasty food at reasonable prices, family run with exceptional service. We were a group of 9 walk in, accommodated and service was fantastic to say only the young lady waitress. Food was delicious and fresh, desserts were plentiful and mum (chef) came round to our tables to greet and ask if everyone enjoyed meals . We've been coming to beadnell for years and this is now definitely on our list of places to eat. Hopefully as a new venture your business will grow and get recognised as a great place to eat 👍 good luck you all truly deserve it . Thank you for a lovely evening.

Delicious full English breakfast this morning. Just what we needed before a 4 hour journey back home. Delightful local sausages and lovely bacon. Served lovely coffee too. First time we have been, would definitely go back again.

Called on the way back to Beadnell after a walk with our dog. Just wanted a snack. Had a cheese and ham panini toasties and my wife had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini. Both were excellent, I have to say my cheese and ham was the best I have ever had and were both reasonably priced. Try supporting local people who make a real effort rather than going to the overpriced pubs and hotels in Seahouses. The menu was extensive if you wanted a more hearty meal. Will be back as soon as we visit the area again

Always very welcoming whether for a drink or food. I enjoy playing the golf course too-fabulous holes, especially on the back 9.

Booked Sunday lunch here earlier in the week whilst staying at springhill. WOW so very pleased we did it was excellent. Compliments to the chef but Becky and Zee were so lovely and cheerful they made the whole dining experience even better. Nick had roast beef with lashings of gravy and I had portobello mushroom veggie option of the day. Lovely selection of veg served separately, my own jug of gravy together with Yorkshire, roast potato and mash. Did I mention the sticky red cabbage oh man 😋😋😋 rhubarb and apple crumble again with a small jug of custard for Nick sadly I was too full. Lovely views over the course and the beach which I now need to walk my lunch off along. Thankyou wish we lived closer 😍😍

Visited twice for breakfast with grandsons and we were very impressed by the quality of the food . We had lovely pleasant service from the young lady and really enjoyed our breakfasts in pleasant Covid safe surroundings. Highly recommended.

Visited for breakfast. Whilst the food was good we were disappointed with lack of Covid Secure compliance. Unlike all the other places we have eaten in the area no attempt was made to collect our details for tracing purposes.

The highlight was the toilet. The staff were icy and rude and the wine was cheap and nasty. We all wished we had walked past and ignored it. Avoid.

I booked this restaurant to celebrate my pre-Christmas birthday for my entire family. There were 18 of us. The tables were well placed so we were all able to chat. The food was delicious and served very smoothly by extremely friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the evening. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone one.

Went for Sunday lunch and then midweek lunch. Food is excellent vfm with occasional bursts of wow! For example pan fried pigeon breast with crispy pancetta on salad leaves. Very friendly too and great views of the sea across the dunes and fairways.

Went to have a look at the course, which is very good and scenic, and saw the Bistro menu. managed to book at the bar, finding all the staff helpful, cheerful and charming. The menu was excellent and the food superbly cooked. Choice of drinks well priced ranging from good wine to proper real ale and a lovely view from the windows. nothing to moan about !

Popped in for lunch today 19th September gorgeous weather so sat outside. Bacon brie and cranberry panini lovely salad and chips absolutely delicious. Staff as usual first class. Thank you

Been here 3 times now and can only say the sevice and food quality excellent..Except..please please please cook proper home made Chips as the ones I have had have been very dry ‘oven’ style chips. It’s important if your having a steak . That tiny little thing would raise your ratin from 4 to 5 stars. Keep everything else as is.

Had previously had a great sunday lunch, so went for the evening food, menu great we had moules to start very tasty great meuniere sauce, good portions, mains were monkfish superb....and rump steak rare...cooked to perfection with fab pepper sauce..amazing food and great friendly staff.....grammatical ....

We have stopped off for coffee and cake previously but this was our first Sunday lunch at The Bistro. The menu gave plenty of choice including several vegetarian options. For starters we had Spring Rolls with chilli dipping sauce and deep fried Camembert. Both were delicious. For our mains we had a roast pork (with delicious crackling) and a silverside beef. Lunch came with a good portion of fresh vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and the fluffiest roast potatoes ever. We finished our meal with homemade apple crumple and custard and homemade strawberry cheesecake. The entire meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The icing on the cake was the fabulous view along the beach to Beadnell, a wonderful setting.

Having visited here on several occasions for Sunday lunch, last week we were here for the week so we decided to try lunch midweek and we were not disappointed. I had a ham and cheese omelette and my husband the BLT in a baguette, I also ordered a portion of chips but can honestly say we didn't need them. The meals in themselves were more than adequate and we will definitely be returning

My Boyfriend and I went for Sunday Lunch, we had great service and the food was really delicious . The Chef and his partner used to work at Beadnell Towers. But are running The Bistro and are doing a fantastic Job, Food is a credit to him and his Partner. Will be going again definately.

We stopped here after walking back from Seahouses to Beadnell and had no idea what it was like, especially being a golf club!! Completely wrong, the staff were very friendly and the lunches were great. Will try the Bistro on a night when we go back again

A table for 3 at 6.30 please was how the experience began. The food was truly delicious and peppered our conversation throughout the meal. We were still talking about it last thing before retiring to bed.

What could be better than a lovely walk from Beadnell to Seahouses to find this great place at the end of the beach in the golf course club house for a pot of tea and delicious tray bake. The sun was shining so the outside seating area was marvelous. Lovely views from the veranda area. The staff are very attentive and the homemade tray bake was absolutely delicious. We understand that the Bistro is open for evening meals on Friday and Saturday evenings so we will be returning to sample the full menu very soon.

We were on holiday in Northumberland and decided to try the Bistro at Seahouses Golf Club as I'd heard good reports. First day we went along was a Monday and we were disappointed to find out that the Bistro doesn't open on a Monday. Never mind, we tried again and found the staff very friendly and food was restricted to sandwiches, toasties, panini and soup. Toasties were very tasty as was the soup. Apparently the Bistro staff run themed evenings and Sunday lunches all of which have very good reviews by other Tripadvisors

Fabulous meal. Joe and Rachel put on a Chinese night at the Bistro which was excellent in every way. Upon arrival the venue had been decorated in Chinese style, tables set up with chopsticks and traditional cutlery for the not so dextrous!

Have been here a few times and can honestly say the food was lovely. I had the soup and Well done beef for my meal and my husband the mussels and the rare beef we both enjoyed them alot. The service is also excellent, will defintely be returning

We’ve been tempted to visit when passing on previous visits but noticed the bistro is beginning to be noticed via tripadvisor. Booked a table for Sunday lunch and we were very pleasantly surprised. Really enjoyed the garlic mushroom starter with lovely bread and butter. The roasts were decent with a really nice selection of vegetables. For the price, this was a real treat and the staff were exceptionally nice.

This is our 4th visit for Sunday lunch and today was for my friends birthday, a lovely welcome was waiting along with the fabulous food, no scrimping here just an abundance of a delicious Sunday lunch. Definitely worth a visit 👍

Brie and I had chowder.. bith very tasty. 2 x roast dinners followed.. both rare.. too much gravy but I got past that... 2x roast potatoes on the plate. Creamed Swede ( v.good) cabbage and boiled new spuds too... all decent and wholesome if not top draw...Chocolate and hazelnut cheesecake ( top Cheese....Cake!?) was good. No problem ordering drinks or paying at the bar! 3 course for 13.85 bargain! Good honest food for not much moolah! Great staff BTW.

Visited the Bistro Tuesday 9th October for lunch. We had cod and chips and scampi with chips both beautifully cooked and well presented. For anyone that hasn't been to the Bistro yet do yourself a favour and go you won't be disappointed. Thank you.

Another gorgeous dinner. Excellent vegetarian stroganoff for me and perfectly cooked duck for hubby. Warm friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Hubby had cheese board dessert but isn't keen on soft cheeses and they were only too happy to bring him exactly what he liked. It's those little touches that make eating here a real joy. I am so lucky to have this bistro within walking distance from my home. The food is all fresh and cooked to perfection.

My husband and I throughly enjoyed an evening meal here a couple of months ago; it was exceptional, filling and wholesome. Lovely choice on the menu, steak was our choice on this particular evening and it was divine, cooked to perfection and garnished with all the trimmings.

Visited the bistro many times now, and can honestly say I have never ever had a bad meal. Always different types of dishes on the menu, which is always trying new things. Extremely well priced meals, and a lovely atmosphere!

I can only agree with all the positive reviews about the bistro at Seahouses golf club. I have eaten at the bistro at all meal times and cannot fault any of the meals. I was in the bistro for Sunday lunch on the 2nd September and always look forward to Joe's amazing home made roast potatoes and parsnips. They're the best I've had and if you're hungry it's the place for you as the portion size is definitely enough with plenty fresh veg. All the staff in both the golf club bar and the bistro are very friendly and Rachel is able to accommodate your needs, e.g. small portions for kids, vegetarian meals and dogs are more than welcome. You could sit all day if you wanted and can take your time and leisurely pay on your way out the door. So if you're looking for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with the most beautiful view and brilliant grub this is definitely the place for you.

I'm very disappointed with this place. First of all after arriving and being seated to the table we waited for our order being taken as in a bistro you expect table service only to be told that we had to go to the bar for our own drinks.

We went for a second time last Friday having been mightily impressed on our first visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our supper night... scallops to stat followed by the oven roast haddock which was amazing on a bed of asparagus! The moules mariniere was a dish on its own, the veggie dish was delicious and the best our fellow diner had tasted, very meaty and delicious lamb chops - all washed down with a bottle of Pinot! Thank you Joe & Rachael - we had a great evening with the added spectacular lightening display....

Fantastic food with excellent friendly service and fantastic views. The Bistro is at Seahouses Golf Club and is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays). Food is served from 8 am to 4 pm and Friday and Saturdays open in addition from 6 pm to 9 pm for Bistro nights.

Frequent player here, many moons ago. A surprise invite for a very pleasant lunch. I couldn't believe how good it was, not just the food which was excellent but the whole experience. Lovely staff of course, happy to help in any way.

Cannot recommend The Bistro enough. The Sunday Lunch was absolutely beautiful and could not resist having all three mouth watering courses! The staff are really lovely too. Had been recommended by friends and was well worth the long journey to get there. Try it you will not be disappointed. We will certainly visit again soon.

Highly recommend Sunday lunch here. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, attentive but not intrusive. The Sunday roast is traditional and one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Plenty of meat with delicious homemade gravy and Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables and both roast and new potatoes to accompany it. It is always our first choice for a Sunday roast when we visit the area. Booking is highly recommended as it can get busy especially in the summer season. In addition to a traditional Sunday roast the Bistro offers a range of other dishes all offering good portions and value. Cannot wait to return again and again and again....
