Two course lunch gifted to us as an anniversary present. Arrived on time, no one there to greet us for five minutes. Lunch was nice especially the starter. Unfortunately there wasn’t much atmosphere, though I think that was because it was early 12.30.

I brought my parents here for a night away as a treat for a belated Christmas treat as well as to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary. Loved how remote Fraser's is - in the middle of nowhere so really peaceful. Beautifully decorated rooms although they definitely weren't as clean as they could have been e.g. cobwebs above light shades . Nice touch to have some lemon drizzle cake in the room on arrival but a shame there are no decaf tea or coffee options in the room. The food in the evening was delicious and the guy who served us very friendly. The restaurant had a super lovely ambience with calming background music. It was a little cold in there though. The bacon sandwiches in the morning were dry and not overly warm. Overall a lovely experience but a little overpriced for both accommodation and food.

We had our small intimate wedding at Frasers. My husband & I could not have asked for a more perfect setting for our special day. Jo and her team were exceptional in all that they did. I booked the absolutely stunning Pond cottage for the night before with my sisters. It was the perfect place to stay and prepare for becoming a bride:). From the moment we arrived we were taken care of. Thank you Jim (the chef ) for cooking a wonderful evening meal and serving us :). Thank you Jo, & your team. You are wonderful and looked after us, ensuring every fine detail of our stay and wedding was absolutely perfect. We choose a ceremony in the gardens followed by a delicious afternoon tea for our 30 guests and retired to a private garden with outside bar to relax with family. We couldnt have asked for a better setting for our wedding. Thank you everyone for making our day absolutely perfect. Love Jim & Trish

Gorgeous location and setting. Although this is located after a dirt track, which I would not like a brand new car to come down, once there it is very scenic. The inside decor was minimal and rustic which was great. There is not loads of tables here so ensure you prebook and not just turn up. The food was amazing, really really impressive. The service was great also and the staff were so helpful throughout. It is quite expensive but I would definitely recommend.

The price for breakfast was reasonable. The Kedgeree was excellent and it was lovely having the accompanying chutney. The 2 members of staff were very pleasant and accommodating. However, the driveway to Frazers had so many potholes the journey was uncomfortable. The Corned beef hash did not contain any corned beef. It was very dark, some lighting would have improved the experience. We would have preferred a choice of coffee, not just an option of cafetière or tea. The tea cups were very small and didn’t match. The tiny portion of tomato sauce for two people was very disappointing. There was no ambience, it was too quiet. Background music would have improved the atmosphere.

As our first trip out after lockdown, we visited Frasers for brunch outside on a sunny Saturday. As always Lisa, Jo and the team were friendly and made us feel at ease after returning to some form of normality. Frasers felt safe, clean and organised with clear procedures in place to ensure everyone could enjoy their experience but feel safe. Our brunch was amazing and it felt like a real treat to go out after such a long time! We love what you’ve done with the gardens over the last year too. Frasers is such a beautiful place. See you soon!

My partner's birthday fell during the 2nd lockdown, and I was looking for something to make it a little bit special. Lisa @ Frasers offered an Afternoon Tea to take away. It was delicious, from the fresh sandwiches to the yummy scones and cakes. All had been homemade with care. Highly recommend this for something a little bit special in these hard times.

Firstly a positive. The two hearty breakfasts were excellent and I couldn't fault the waitresses. My eldest daughter, who's birthday it was had the French toast, but unfortunately she had eaten it before the fruit belatedly arrived at the table. My youngest daughter had scrambled egg and salmon, which arrived extremely late in front of her, but no salmon, even though we ordered the day before. It was also cold. There was also a dispute about the freshness of the bread, with the owner making a sarcastic comment. Eventually around twenty minutes after we had eaten, my daughter finally had her breakfast. I don't like being negative in these challenging times, but this was a very disappointing experience and I doubt we will return. One other comment I must make is go there in a 4x4 as the state of the approach road is very challenging for your cars suspension.

Lucky us received a voucher for Afternoon Tea anywhere in the UK. When we looked at the list of venues near us, Frasers stood out as being ideal. And it was! Generous portion of finger sandwiches, savoury pastries, a variety of cakes and scones plus butter, jam and Clotted Cream all very fresh and yummy. Washed down with a choice of teas or coffee.COVID-19 precautions in place and observed so we felt safe there. Our first time to Frasers and we were impressed by the setting and outdoor areas. Note that we did not stay overnight or see the hotel area. Our visit was for Afternoon Tea only.

We have just had a wonderful afternoon tea at Frasers. We felt very safe, they are very welcoming on arrival, give you lots of space and we were shown to a table in the garden. Everything was clean (hand sanitiser at the door) and no one was sitting near us, when the tea was brought out the waitress was mindful of giving us and her plenty of distance. We needed to use the toilets during our stay and there is a one way system to avoid ‘meeting anyone’, they appear to have thought through the concerns that guests would have and have dealt with them very well. The afternoon tea was wonderful, good savoury and sweet selection and a really good scone with clotted cream and jam. The garden setting was great and we enjoyed the sunshine. There were a group of six and another group of three who appeared to be enjoying their lunches.Well worth visiting - full marks.

We really enjoyed our 'Afternoon Tea with Bubbles' last week in this farm setting. High quality homemade savouries, sandwiches and cakes were on offer and made to an excellent standard. The speciality sausage roll filling had a beautiful multi herb flavour developed in house. We liked it so much that we bought some extra to take back home. Many people may be worried about eating out because of the virus covid19, but we felt it was very safe. On the way, A21 motor way was closed and other road works make us later for our appointed time. When we phoned the restaurant on the way, we were told kindly not to worry: we appreciated them waiting for us and kindly reception. The rebuilt 11 year Kentish oak beamed restaurant is set in the beautiful countryside. We look forward to revisiting again .

This was a present from our children for a quintessential afternoon tea. I had no real expectations, just that it would be a couple of sandwiches , cakes and scones with tea and coffee. How wrong were we ! The staff met us and had allocated a table (due to COVID 19) but then asked as the day was lovely would we prefer to eat outside we chose the latter as the weather was so nice,Next a lovely waitress came and asked if we would like sparkling or still water...complimentary, tea or coffee. This lovely lady has eorked there for 10 years so it says a lot for Frasers !Our three tier stand was brought out with finger sandwiches, plenty of good quality filling. Second layer was Homemade Goats cheese Tarts and sausage rolls, these were absolutely amazing have never tasted such good flavours. The top tier had carrot cake, chocolate brownie and lemon drizzle just enough to be able to eat them all..A while later two large freshly cooked fruit scones arrived with clotted cream and jam arrived which were also of a very night standard. This place deserves all the praise we have given it and can’t wait to return for a proper meal if the tea was anything to go by !The owner was in attendance and she and her Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hope it’s not too long before we return.

Beautiful setting in a rural location which was well worth the drive. Booked tables had been staggered so we were the only 2 diners in the restaurant with a specific (and spotless) toilet to use. So reassuring as it was my first trip out since lockdown. The pleasant host explained her cleaning procedures, kept her distance whilst serving us (without neglecting us in any way!) and there were ample sanitising stations so we were soon put at ease. The table was set nicely and the food was AMAZING! Best cream tea I have ever had. Presentation and taste could not be faulted. Home made delicious sausage rolls, quiche, sandwiches, scone and cakes all to an excellent standard and despite neither of us being tea drinkers, we were offered plenty of alternatives so didn't feel awkward. The host even apologised that due to Covid19 she had used individual plastic containers of clotted cream which would not normally be used but it really didn't distract from the elegant appearance and was an indication of how much thought had gone into the safety aspect. Thoroughly recommend and will be returning!

The food was excellent & really makes this restaurant stand out as being a good local restaurant. However what would make it great is if there were aperitif drink options (not just Prosecco) and pre-meal nibbles like bread. The road leading up to the restaurant is just awful as well - it’s riddled with pot holes which made arriving at and leaving the restaurant quite a worry. Don’t go there if you have an expensive sports car!

Came here for the Valentine's night special and it was genuinely one of the most enjoyable experiences I have ever had in a restaurant. Food of this quality seldom exists in London, so to be able to have it out in the beauty of the Kent Countryside is great. Each course out of the seven offered a unique experience, with perfect aesthetic detail and precisely calculated flavour combinations packed into each portion, leaving a great anticipation with every dish to come. The bar was equipped with a great selection of local (and less local) wines and drinks. They also sell a "Bidenden Red Love Apple Juice" from the local area which I would also highly recommend. The service and restuarant itself were very good, with beautiful flowers all around the room, mood lighting and a candle on each table to capture the "Valentines Experience" perfectly. The waitresses were all very friendly and attentive and helped enhance the experience; we were never without drinks on the table and had minimal waiting time between courses.Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who truly appreciates great food and a good dining experience. Cannot wait to try the other tasting menus and perhaps a sunday roast! 2 AA Rossettes well deserved!

Taking advantage of an offer for the tasting menu we decided to visit for a birthday lunch. All of the courses were very well presented. Portion sizes were smaller than other tasting menus we have sampled and a couple of the courses were lacking in flavour however overall it was a lovely lunch not rushed in any way. We both agreed the venison dish was the best.Whilst the food was good the overall feel of the restaurant was that of a reception area with tables.Unfortunately despite being in the middle of the countryside there were no windows to look out of to enjoy the views. I am certain in the evening with the correct lighting that this would not a problem but thick net curtains at the wall of windows meant we couldn't see out across the fields. There was one other couple eating lunch and another having a cream tea which we found rather bazaar. This and the fact that a meeting was being conducted on another table really didn't add to our dining experience. As this was a birthday lunch at the time of booking I had asked for the occasion to be marked in some way but there was nothing. The waitress was lovely and the food good but we both decided it would not be a place we would choose for a return as it was not a comfortable environment for a lunch. it lacked restaurant atmosphere and it was also a little chilly.

Unfortunately we were the only people having lunch until 2 ladies came in for afternoon tea. Only lady serving was very attentive and pleasant and was able to accommodate our requests. Vegetables were numerous and pleasant but I suspect that some of them were ready bought! However the roast potatoes were outstanding! Two people chose the 'pot roasted pheasant' but it was very dry and not what I expected as the 'pot roasted' statement conjured up a more casserole idea! The dessert of Belle Pear Helene was sadly lacking the pear as there was a tiny slither of pear with a spoonful of ice cream and a shop bought chocolate dessert that was extremely oversweet! Not a good choice! My friend had the chessboard which he thoroughly enjoyed. Not a bad lunch but expected slightly better.

We chose Frasers for our team offsite earlier this month as we wanted somewhere deep in the countryside but not too far from London. We are a team of 8 and four of us stayed in the barn and the other four were in rooms in the other cottages. The whole property has been done up to the highest standard - the rooms are beautifully designed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the bedsheets were an absolute delight! We had our own catering in the barn but on one of the evenings we had a cookery lesson in the main kitchen as our team building activity and the menu was excellent. All the ingredients were sourced locally and everything we cooked was delicious especially the duck and persimmon salad! The only slight challenge was the lack of wi-fi in the barn which we needed for some of our presentations etc but if you're going there to go off the grid and disconnect, it's a superb space and highly recommended.Lisa, Jo and the rest of the team were wonderful hosts. They answered all our questions before arrival and were on hand to help out with any queries / requests / recommendations (we went t the Rose & Crown pub for dinner on our first night), we had. It was a great experience overall and we will certainly be back!

We visited on a lunch time and had the 3 courses from the a la carte menu. Firstly ensure your sat nav is working as the restaurant is difficult to find. The restaurant is situated in a gorgeous barn styled building and is beautifully presented. The only downside is that there seems to be minimal heating in the restaurant and where we were seated you could feel a draught coming in from the outside in fact the hallway and toilets were warmer. Great choice of courses, we had the soup and scallops to start, followed by the cod and rib eye. Both courses were absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented, the cod being the best my wife has had. The deserts were equally as good and again well presented. Portion size was surprisingly large for a lunch sitting. Service was polite and knowledgeable. We would love to visit again but next time in the summer time.

We found this restaurant online late on Saturday night and based on the good reviews we booked a table for 6 for breakfast using open table. When we arrived it wasn't open so we called the number and the chef answered. He immediately came and opened the door for us and explained that due to the late hour that we booked they were not aware of our booking. However he could not have been more accommodating. He immediately made a call and more staff appeared. We were served quickly and in a professional and friendly manner. It was clear to us that they were very busy with a function that day and had lots to do but that did not affect our experience. We were not rushed, in fact they asked several times if we would like any more drinks or anything else and they even brought out some extra sausages for the table. One of our party was vegan and they provided her with a good breakfast and even had vegan spread for her toast. The food was high quality and cooked perfectly and everything was served with a smile. We are not local but if we are ever in the area again we would definitely make a point of going. We held our Ruby Anniversary meal here. We had 30 guests. Our guests were all aware they had to pay up front for their meals. Those that asked were also aware that some of the food was served by the guests them selves at the table. This was not a problem. Pieces of chicken and beautifully slow roasted lamb that fell apart was served. All the veg was served in platters. The food was excellent. There was so much food plenty was left at the end. We brought left over chicken and two joints of lamb home with us in vacuum packed packages done by Frasers. The desserts were plentiful and there was enough apple crumble to feed 60. Several had both main meats and both desserts.

I was invited to a friend's Ruby Wedding celebration lunch held in a marquee at the rear of the premises . Unbelievably we were told we had to pay in advance for our pre chosen food with two alternative dishes . In addition we had to pay for any drinks we wished to consume with our meal . This of course was no fault of the restaurant but the food and drinks were very expensive . The food was served in dishes to the table of about 40 people who were expected to serve themselves - including pulling the meat from a lamb joint by one of the diners who served the table (which I think should have been done by one of tha waitresses ) .. The service was slow and the finished plates and dishes were left on the table without being cleared for about 20 minutes . The dessert portions , although very tasty , were miniscule .

A very pleasant venue; intimate scale and very attractive setting. Tasting menu was vert good - each course was fine. Slightly incoherent sequencing - sorbet was pudding esque and preceded an exceptional parfait/cheesecake whereas a palate cleanser and/or prior to pigeon would have been preferable. It was a nice location ( and probably improved by the fact that it’s not easily found by people that rely on mobile phones for their directions - get a life, get a map! ). Also attentive and prompt service. Unfortunately the food was average and the portion size was decidedly of the ‘trendy cooking’ variety - been watching too much ‘Masterchef’!

We visited here are we got a voucher for Christmas, it is not very far from us but we didn’t know it existed. Very rural location but beautiful, perfect wedding venue as they have rooms to stay in too.

We had afternoon tea which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was very good and we thought the restaurant was very pleasant. We used a buy a gift voucher, what a lovely present to be given and we found an excellent venue for our tea.

My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions and it has never been disappointing. Great service and good quality well presented food. Wine list is excellent and nothing is too much trouble.

The location, setting and atmosphere was beautiful. The presentation of the food was excellent and beautiful the portion size was disappointing and especially as I had to pay an extra £5.00 because I am vegan so that is a total of £53 for two people . The amount of food I got for the vegan option wasn’t even worth £5.00 worth of ingredients.( I know this as I am a vegan caterer ). The charge of extra £5.00 for what you get is inreasonable especially as you paid what you have for the afternoon tea already . I understand you paying for the the whole experience but the two afternoon tea portions and amount of food served was not any way near the amount It would cost . As I said the food was lovely and presented beautifully but not value for money at all and brilliant if you are on a diet due to the lack of food given .

We’ve previously visited as a group of friends for lunch but thought we would try the evening taster menu as we had a special offer. We couldn’t fault it! The ambiance was good although it was a quiet Thursday evening. The service excellent, we were looked after by Ben and he looked after us very well! He was polite, attentive and professional but with a sense of humour - we were quite noisy! Food was great too! We will certainly be back and we wouldn’t mind paying full price!

Excellent service. Stunning, amazing food. The best food we've tasted in such a long while. The sort that makes you put your knife and fork down and purr. Lovely atmosphere too.

My husband and I are both vegetarian and I was amazed to receive a call from the chef the day before our reservation to discuss our dietary requirements. they also made sure that there were 3 options for us to choose from for each course on the night! The food was delicious and the staff very attentive, especially as we were very early for our table. I will definitely be visiting again and recommending this restaurant to my friends.

The food was fabulous, there was nothing on the tasting menu my partner and myself did not like. The service was very good but the restaurant was very quite so we did not feel inclined to linger.

Frasers was a brilliant find. We went there to celebrate a Birthday and as it was near to Valentines Day we chose the Valentines Tasting menu. It was superb. Portions were perfect and the food amazing. Frasers is a little in the middle of nowhere but it was truly worth the drive. Will definitely look forward to our next visit.

Amazing afternoon tea. So good this was our 3rd time at Frasers. The team are always super lovely and welcoming, nothing is too my trouble. The food is amazing - sandwiches are fresh, the sausage roll is the best I’ve ever tasted and is always served warm alongside the cheese and onion tart which again is super scrummy. The scones are huge and getting more jam or cream is never a problem. Always have a great time and always recommend others. It’s my group of friends go to place for afternoon tea now. We’ll be back soon no doubt!

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and what a great find it was. one of the friends we went with has an allergy to fish and the staff couldn't have been more understanding and helpful - they really went out of their way to make us comfortable. The service was a relaxed and nice mix of attention but not overly so. The setting is beautiful modernised barn finished to the highest level. we all had Steak and it was the very best we ever tasted and no steak knives needed... well done to the wonderful chef they have there - the desserts were the only time we were all quiet - savouring the tastes !. t I really cant praise the restaurant enough. the only very slight downside was its in the middle of nowhere - long drive down country lanes to get there and late evening you can easily miss the small green restaurant sign. There needs to be some lighting on the dirt path leading up to the restaurant as it is very dark. the a la cart menu is limited to three choices of each course - not that I am a fan of long menus but perhaps another choice on main course would be good and finally the coffee is pretty limited selection. having said all that, the four of us had a fab night and its certainly somewhere we will return to - maybe even try a stay in the lovely accommodation they offer. Well done to all the team - and thanks for a lovely evening Ann

I took my wife here for our anniversary and we had an amazing 3 course lunch. The setting on a working farm is unique and provides a great setting. The food was absolutely delicious and looked as good as it tasted. The service was excellent, keeping us topped up, food arriving in a timely manner (not too fast or too slow), and just really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back soon!

We’ve eaten out on Christmas Day for the last 12 years and this year was by far our best. The meal and service were faultless the only complaint was it had to come to an end. Thank you to Lisa and her team for making us feel very welcome and for a most enjoyable meal enjoyed by all 8 of us. See you again soon x

We went for New Years Eve. It was beautiful & food outstanding. There was a Nice atmosphere & the Jazz band was good but not for the whole of the evening, it got a bit boring. I feel music should of changed & livened up with modern party music so everyone could've danced.

We enjoyed a delicious family tea at Frasers to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Wonderful freshly baked scones & cakes. The Christmas tree & decorations are stunning & provide a beautiful ambiance. Without request they gave a Chocolate delice cake with Happy Birthday on it to our daughter. Thank you Frasers for making it a special treat.

The place itself seems nice enough - a good aesthetic that screams rock n'roll. However, the online presence really lets the place down. "Book a Table" says the website. I booked a table. Only to receive an email saying I didn't need to. When we arrived, two tables were marked "Reserved". Based on information found on the various online sources we could find, my other half (looking to celebrate her birthday), chose SF having seen "a selection of grilled cheese sandwiches", and offers on a "range of cocktails". The evening got off to a poor start when we got to the bar, and the only two non-lager/cider options on the draught drinks were both out of stock. Undeterred, we asked for one of the "range of cocktails", only to be told they were not doing cocktails. Undeterred, we finally found (barely) suitable beverages and found a table. We waited for the menu, and were disappointed to find it was much smaller than the online presence had led us to believe. Calling over one of the staff, we were told "We don't do those anymore". When we pointed out that this really should be updated online, we got "Yeah, its all changing". At which point we left to go home. Where we could enjoy drinks we wanted, and the full array of delights available from local takeaways. One word of advice - if you promise burger and chips, and deliver burger and chips, I'm happy. But if I visit on the basis of online information, and you don't have what you've marketed, I'm going to be elsewhere.

Nice pub, it has a darts team that I'm not in and the liquor is very reasonable indeed 👍

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. It was very slightly more expensive than some other places but the quality more than justified it
