Over the years we have enjoyed this cafe for breakfast But the last time and it was the last time the quality of food was ok but had slipped but the sauces on offer must of been of the cheapest available I can understand the cafe getting cheaper ingredients if the are struggling but all it will do is make the customers go else where

Food was really nice I was working in the area Planned to visit the cafe all week but the lady knitting in the corner is so ignorant and disrespectful bizzy body I have seen on a previous comment about this lady she is not doing your establishment any favours other than this issue food and girls cooking and serving was brilliant unfortunately I won’t enter again in future if this lady is present.

Best Cafe around Great prices, great food, great staff

Probably one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had. Food was brilliant and the staff were also brilliant. It's clean not expensive and like I said brilliant want a proper cafe full English come here. Highly recommend them.

Used this place years every full English is the same standard which is the best breakfast around every time, never ever had a poor plate of food

The breakfast was good it looks like a popular place if your lucky you might bag a car space outside but a car park is right nex to it now the last time we went on a Saturday a girl outside said sorry we are closed so I don't know what mishap they had that day but it's normally open that day so cheap breakfast try it here

Standard British breakfast done superbly and really great value for money.

We love to go here for breakfast. The owner Kay is lovely as is the rest of the staff. The food is always hot and worth the money. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Very nice little traditional cafe. We had two full breakfasts, excellent value and quality produce including the sausages.

Small cafe, very friendly staff. Seems to me all food is cooked fresh and it always tastes great. The prices are great too. Call in and eat in or takeaway. Order by telephone and collect at an agreed time. Not sure if can order through social media. Place spotless.

Best Breakfast in Billingham and great value for money, I have read other reviews and can't believe I went to the same place, been here about 10 to 15 times and never had anything to complain about. Will be going again for sure.

Eaten takeaways from here a few times, food is nice but often find food items missing , from 3 breakfasts there were 2 eggs 2 hash browns and 1 sausage missing ,this is a common occurrence beware check your food items before leaving the shop.

Overpriced breakfasts the staff don't bring your cutlery over to you and the sauce is very watery I wouldn't recommend going back to this cafe

We're regular visitors at Kay's cafe and frequently drop in for our breakfasts before long journeys and in early mornings. The food is outstanding, without a doubt the best breakfast in the north east of England. The portions are more than adequate, ranging from small to absolutely massive. The staff are extremely friendly and service is very quick considering the amount of work they put into the food. Although it's only a small cafe, it has a lot of potential and they could consider expanding. I highly recommend a visit whenever you're in the area.

Exceptional food, Fantastic portions could not have asked for a better breakfast! I was full most of the day.

We've been going here whenever we work a weekend of mornings. The breakfasts are always nasty and plenty of it. We can put our orders in and can be collected when requested.

Great place to eat, go here all the time for breakfast, its quick, cheerful, tasty, and at a good price. And they have the best coffee in billingham. Cant go wrong!

My dad used to being me here on a Saturday morning and now I bring my boyfriend, he used to live in Hull so he's been deprived of a good breakie until now. Absolutely love it, always get eggs chips and beans and when it arrives the plate is piled high, it's great! It's a great atmosphere as well, you see the same faces and they're always friendly. I'll always visit here as long as it is open, it really is great.

I travel around with work and have previously criticised cafes in the south for the poor standard of breakfasts. Not so in the north. I visited Kays cafe in Billingham this morning and had the early breakfast, £4.95 for a quality well cooked breakfast consisting of 3 sausage, 3 bacon, 3 eggs, 2 black pudding, beans and 2 full slices of fried bread. Good strong cup of tea as well, didn't need anything more all day. The two ladies in there were also extremely pleasant.

Never been able to cook them.No problem now best poached eggs ever.I order two and always get three, brilliant.

...look no further. Bacon, Sausage and eggs on a breakfast bap will sort you out. Cup of tea and a read of the daily rags are optional. Love this place. I think they do other food but I have never noticed.It's a family place, so watch the language or Kay won't be long telling you to do so!!!

My husband and I came to Kay's several times for breakfast. The portions are large and the food was great. It's only a little place and it's nothing special to look at, but would gladly eat here any day!

Sunday dinners here are great. Lovely tender Turkey and plenty of veg. Been a few times and always consistently good. I will be back!

Have been several times and always receive good, honest food with friendly service. I mainly go for breakfast which is very good value and easier than cooking at home as I prefer a sandwich whilst my husband likes a big breakfast. Very good value
