The Bridge Coffee House in Stockton-on-Tees

I visit this café almost every week, and it never disappoints! The service is always excellent, and the quality is outstanding, all at a very reasonable price. The food is absolutely delicious, and their scones are simply unforgettable – the best you’ll ever try. I highly recommend stopping by this wonderful café; you won’t regret it!

I had a business meeting with a few colleagues here not long ago. It was very good. I like the food and the staff are very friendly. Excellent bacon bun! Also they offer free wifi. 5 star rating from me. Will visit again soon!

Had a great time at this cafe. It is cosy and they offer great deals, delicious foods and excellent coffee. There's also free WiFi, public toilets & a local bookshop that sells gifts & music along with books of course.

My friends & I visited this coffee house recently and I must say we were impressed. The staff members are all very lovely and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, of course. The hot food is lovely and they have a large selection of hit sandwiches (toasties), panini's, quiche, jackets, cornbeef slice and more. Their cakes are homemade as are their scone. They also have a great selection of snacks and hot/cold drinks. The Bridge coffee house is a fantastic place to visit and to meet up with friends. Recommended!

This coffee house offers free wifi, scenic views of the river Tees, excellent food and very friendly service. The manager is a nice man who helped my husband connect his phone to the complimentary wifi. I had a cheese, bacon and onion quiche and my hubby had a beans & cheese jacket potato. Both meals were lovely and inexpensive. The kids had kids meals, which are also inexpensive. The portion sizes are good too. Worth a visit or two or three, etc.

I had a great time at the coffee house! The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. Can't fault the place. My latte was really good for only about £2 and their scones are fantastically delicious. Recommended!

Stumbled across this little gem by accident when trying to escape from the storm while my car was being serviced over the road. I’m so glad I did! It’s a lovely, cozy little place within a church building; everything was scrupulously clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. I only had to wait a few minutes after ordering for my food to arrive - two slices of toast, a heap of yellow fluffy scrambled eggs and two perfectly cooked rashers of bacon, with a piping hot cup of filter coffee, all for just over a fiver. I was on my own, but if you have children with you, there are toys, books and colouring stuff, as well as a separate children’s menu. Definitely worth a visit if you are out and about in Stockton!

Always a friendly welcome, great food and fabulous coffee. Homemade scones are especially recommended.

Lovely staff, most of which are volunteers who are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Food prepared to order with a wide selection of sandwiches, toastier, jacket potatoes, soups etc not forgetting their great scones and puddings with custard. I can also recommend the quiches. The tables are quickly cleaned and overall the surroundings are very clean.

A fabulous coffee shop - lovely staff and a super menu. The setting is wonderful - bookshop on hand with lots of items to purchase. The coffe is super and the scones are fabulous- white chocolate and marzipan ......delightful. Plus the fruit scones are recommended. Try the carrot and walnut cake it's also highly recommended.

The staff are so accommodating arranging the tables so that myself and ten friends could have brunch together. Table service by friendly, helpful staff, and not long to wait before our orders arrived. My panni was delicious and very reasonably priced. There is always a good selection of sandwiches, cakes, scones etc, and no complaints from my friends.

Unpretentious, clean, friendly and efficient with a nice view. I popped in on a Saturday morning and had a lovely salad and coffee for just over a fiver.

I really REALLY like this cafe. They have a large range of food offerings (Jacket Potatoes, Toasties, Scones, Cakes, Sandwiches, Quiches, etc.) not just tea & coffee. I also like the coffee house for having volunteers & paid staff. Such lovely people!!

This is located in the foyer of Stockton Baptist Tabernacle and overlooks the River Tees. Good choice of food and coffee. The scones were excellent. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff - well worth a visit.
