OH MY WORD. . . . ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. . Llamé hace unas semanas para el almuerzo del domingo y estaba muy impresionado. La bienvenida, el servicio y la comida era absolutamente increíble. Decide pedir un almuerzo para llevar ayer. Una cena de carne y una cena de pollo. Mucho más que un tamaño amplio, caliente, increíblemente sabroso y la carne simplemente se derritió en su boca. Enormes cumplidos al equipo de cocina.

7 reservado en el día de año nuevo, la comida estaba bien, pero el servicio de una cierta camarera era terrible. ella trajo las dos primeras comidas sin saber siquiera cuáles eran, una vez que todas las comidas estaban en la mesa pedimos sal y vinagre, una botella de vinagre casi se ploned en la mesa no es suficiente para todos nosotros. Después de que uno de nosotros pidiera una copa de vino Merlot, se trajo unos 5 minutos más tarde en una copa de media pinta solo para que le dijeran que no había copas de vino lavadas. Para colmo la misma camarera derramó comida sobre mi hermanas chaqueta nueva mientras limpiaba la mesa con no tanto como un sorry! cuando se le pidió una tela que trajo un pedazo de rollo azul todavía no sorry, para una comida que cuesta más de £ 200 se esperaría un buen servicio. Esta camarera decepcionó al equipo.

Fantástica tarde el servicio, y la comida era excepcional y todo mi grupo de 8 arena sus elogios. Ambiente agradable y relajante.

Todo lo que puedo decir es Wow Wow Wow ... fantástico almuerzo de domingo, el mejor que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Todo estaba perfecto, la carne de res se cocinó perfectamente, tan tierna y sin grasa ni gragea, se vino abajo en la boca. Veg era encantador, el sueco era tan sabroso. Una porción muy grande, no se escatimó nada. Gravy galore, pidió más y sacaron una jarra de salsa de tamaño completo. El personal no podría haber sido más servicial y amable. Ambiente muy agradable. Desafortunadamente vivimos en Midlands, de lo contrario estaría allí todos los domingos. Volveré cuando venga a visitar a mi hijo y su esposa de nuevo. Sin duda recomiendo este lugar.

Food was not what it used to be. Prices seem to be higher than it used to be also. All food seemed warmed up and wasn't the best sauce. The stroganoff tasted more like peppercorn, this used to be my favourite now I definitely wouldn't order again. Mixed grill was terrible meat dry, steak over cooked even though I were asked how I like it cooked, sausage were diabolical cheap and all seemed warmed up! Chicken burger was ok just abit dry and like everything else seemed warmed up. Service was good, just a shame about the food. We used to be regulars sadly no longer.

Este lugar ha ido a los perros desde la nueva gestión. Bueno, para ser honesto mi perro subiría la nariz alao... Yo y toda mi familia éramos habituales aquí, pero ahora no. La comida es RANK. Parrilla mixta £ 25 PRECALENTADO PRECOCINADO pollo estaba seco como palos Tiny Steak sobre cocinado (pedí medicación / raro) Embutidos baratos Huevos fritos crujientes Gammon concreto Cordero tan duro como el cuero La salsa de pimienta tenía su propia chaqueta. Esposa tuvo a Mushroom Straganoff 3 pedazos de champiñón en rodajas. Lo curioso es que sabía igual que mi salsa fría de pimienta en grano 🤨 Decir gusto es una exageración. Hija Bonita hamburguesa de pollo seca y precocinada, servida con papas fritas precocinadas / calentadas 🤮 No volveremos a entrar aquí ni nosotros ni nadie de nuestra familia. £ 67 para peor, llovizna sobreprecio. Jamás he probado. Chef está en la OMI.

Went to have food here after take over of management...NEVER AGAIN.Myself,wife and daughter. Very disapointed in the warmed up garbage i got.Mixed grill was rank,Chicken had been chucked on a hot plate,dry as a bone.Tiny over cooked Steak,Crispy fried eggs,over cooked lamb,was like chewing an old boot.Pre Cooked Gammon and then warmed up.£25 😂Chef wants Sacking in IMO. Mushroom Stroganoff my wife got,didnt looked or taste of Stroganoff,contained 3 sliced mushrooms and tasted like my Peppercorn sauce 🫤 For £67 for 3 of us TOTAL RIP OFF. STAY CLEAR IS WHAT IS WOULD SAY 😉

Food was nice, quiet lunchtime meal

Food and everything about the pub and service was almost perfect but for one slight thing, only one dumpling on the mince and ( Dumplings) should have been two I think. Or alternatively one dumpling and a Yorkshire pudding.

Great place to get Sunday lunch. Absolutely delicious and plenty to make you full. Recommend and take your family... Staff great, pub very clean, staff fantastic... Thank you

Sunday lunch today for two. Ive had several Sunday dinners in the last year including high end establishments, and can say the food here was superb, cooked to perfection, and sufficient for the biggest appetite. Staff attentive and quick, the food delivered to our table in record time, and value for money top marks.

Better than I thought is was going to be I was worried as the 1st time I went when it was taken over the food was awful

Asked for a mineral water served tap water and charged for mineral water

New owners.so had a new coat of paint.first time.e I went after new owners took over wasn't impressed service was slow and shoody..but tried it for a second time and was much better..staff were friendly and polite service was a lot better.. menu has changed ..have special dinner time menu and evening menu..do tea,coffee, soft drinks and alcohol of different kinds,draft lager and beer's..

Great service and great prices would highly recommend.

I have always liked the copper beach pub and recently it has been excellent, the food is lovely with big portions and outside have added more tables and a child play space

08/09/24 food was amazing , we had reserved a table so seating was quick . reasonable price . most staff members were lovely . One of the members of staff(blonde oldish looking woman) kept looking , we had finished our meal and stacked our plates and were waiting for a desert menue . she walked past us 4 times and not asked if we had done or asked to take the plates when it was quite obvious. the rest of the staff were lovely .

Really good food and service in a nice chilled atmosphere plus nice pints

Buen servicio amable y comida muy bien presentada, abundante y sabrosa. No pude comer todo mi Parmo y me ofrecieron un recipiente para llevar a casa. El pastel de cabaña también se disfrutó. Definitivamente volveré.

Had roasts for takeaways and let's just say the beef was just little scrappy bits not good at all.

Honestly dont know how you can ruin a business in months. Was a regular here for years & have never wrote review about anywhere but this has never left my mind since we had our night out The food was atrocious, cold, messy & tasteless. We did complain but they were not interested at all. Drunks as you entered sat under the canopy herling abuse at each other, not nice when you have kids. Our cutlery still had the last persons food on it. Such a shame, the owners said they were not changing anything they have changed everything. Sadly i will never step foot in the place again. Be surprised if it lasts the next few months!

We have been visiting this pub for many years and tonight there was a new menu! Hallelujah! The menu is great, lots of choice and more choice than previous for vegetarians. I had corned beef pie and it was absolutely delicious, my friend had the quorn parmesan which she was really happy with. My other friends had fajitas and sausage and mash. Every meal was amazing. Even though we were very full from the meal the dessert menu was too tempting and we all had deserts! Again they were home made and delicious. I can certainly recommend the apple and rhubarb crumble with custard, yummy 😋 The staff were very helpful attentive and friendly. We will certainly be returning and advising friends to go. Thank you copper beech great food.

First visit to copper beech, had Sunday lunch . Myself my wife & mother in law. Fabulous friendly service excellent fresh food, meat vegetables & Yorkshire pudding. Lovely clean pub. Would definitely revisit & reccomend. Well done team 10/10.

Good place to eat and good tasting food, although there is limited options and the service can be quite demanding as they try to creat a high end resteraunt vibe. Would recommend the parmo.

Last visited here back in 2006,whilst on a b11 licensing course with punch taverns, and it was good, it was part of a chain then with a tenant landlord. Today's visit proved that it has improved since then and has become an independent operation. Staff although young have been well trained and were very attentive, eager to work and ensure that the customer has everything they need. Wife had the 12oz horseshoe Gammon and it was no issue to substitute fries instead of the homemade chips. Myself I went for the barbecue bacon Parmo (this was the first place I had one all those years ago) It was excellent as were the homemade chips and slaw, we both fought to eat it all, and leave room for dessert 🍨. Berry Eton mess for the long haired Colonel, and salted caramel cheesecake with ice cream 🍦 for me. Good size portions for both. Even though they don't accept Blue light card, the bill including drinks was only just over £47. This venue has definitely made it's way close to the top of our regular dining out list.

My wife and I came here for something to eat, what a fantastic place this is. Greeted when we arrived and seated in a lovely area. Place was very clean which is the first thing I noticed. Atmosphere was perfect with people talking and socialising, ordered our food which arrived in a timely manner and tasted tremendous. Place was tidied straight after our mains before dessert, which was also beautiful. Price is incredibly reasonable. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming again soon. Great work by the owners and the staff, thank you.

Been here about 4 times since bein taking over...food is luvly...the staff are so friendly & helpful and couldn't do enough for us.

Took my children out for lunch today the food was amazing ! The best pork dinner I ever ate,staff are lovely and great value for money complements to the chef,we will be back again soon !!

Bigger portions wanted. every thing else spot on.

Went for dinner , were seated with menus, bottle of wine arrived and 30 minutes later our order was still not taken, when we asked had we been forgotten, no one was bothered, so we left we will not be returning . They even took a payment for the two glasses of wine out of the bottle.

A lovely well cooked meal, all three of us enjoyed it.Big portions too! X

Fantastic meal at the copper beech. The main member of staff who went above and beyond was Emma. Everything she did for us was 10/10 . Nothing was a problem, she was great at knowing the menu inside and out. Due to my food allergies she made me feel at ease for the correct food to order. She went the extra mile to ensure we had a lovely meal. Our meals were a great price and seeing Emma work extremely hard from the moment we arrived, till the moment we left. Our experience was lovely. We will be definitely back and to return for a pleasant meal. Emma you are a credit to the Copper Beech!!

Got a takeout today for me and my sons and we loved it! Huge amounts of meat, creamy mash and the pigs in blankets are to die for!

Sunday lunch was inedible and/or cold. Orders were wrong or didn't turn up. There wasn't anything to recommend.

Always a lovely pub style meal with various specials of the day. Great fish n chips, great parmo, great burgers, lovely curry. Lovely baguetts. Always happy here.

It was a very nice pub that looked clean. The staff we interacted with seemed nice and friendly and clued up on the food service as one of my group was dairy free... It seems popular with young mum's to meet up and have a bite to eat while catching up on the gossip.

1st time in this restaurant as i live in Scotland. Was down visiting my daughter. The food was delicious portions were great and service was good. Definitely go back if down that way.

This is a down to earth, honest and reasonably priced place to get some decent pub food in a clean and well managed inn. Service was good, attentive without being in any way over bearing. Portion sizes were generous and the food well cooked and presented. Nothing more needs to be written. Give it a go!

What a brilliant pub 1st time but not last.

Gents toilet not good tap only works as your pressing it so you go to wash your hands one at a time- the money they make surely just put a twist rap in rather than rubbish press taps. - also when getting Sunday lunch you have to pay £1.50 extra for a gravy boat where you go anywhere else you get it free - don’t think I’ll be coming here again

Went here today food lovely but when we arrived staff said is 4 people and the wheelchair which I reply no.just 4 people need too careful how your word things in front of people has they could see they were in a wheelchair

Very nice pub good food... Very family-friendly full of mums with babies and toddlers in the function room my grandchildren fit right in, thier was couloring crayons and sheets for children on the tables also.

Loved our meal, it was delicious and the staff were very accommodating for my 11 month baby giving her a nice baby bowl of veg and gravy and a little bowl of ice cream too. Lovely visit and we will definitely be back again.

The food was excellent....too much for me but I was offered a take home box. The service was good ....very pleasant waitresses and efficient.

Really disappointed with our visit to this venue today. The one thing I wanted off the menu they didn't have. We went for Sunday lunch which came out quickly and was hot. Unfortunately, we had a large party behind us who just let their children run around the pub, and didn't seem to care that they were very loud and disturbing other customers, no control from parents or staff which was quite a worry when staff were carrying hot food around us. The noise was horrendous and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Really didn't like sitting in the middle of the room. Ordered dessert but got sick of waiting for it so we ended up cancelling it and asking for the bill. Felt a bit like a cattle market, once customers left, tables were set and the next lot came in. Very popular pub, couldn't get out the front door for people waiting to be seated, but we will not return.

One of the drinks took a while so we asked again and it arrived shortly after. We then ordered the food, the starters were ok, the garlic bread looked and tasted like a £1 frozen one. The other starters were fine. The mains were OK but not fantastic. One of us asked to take it home in a takeaway box which they agreed. When paying we were told that it would be an extra £2 to take the meal home. When ordering one meal we asked if we could swap the garlic dip for a BBQ dip but was told no, it's their policy apparently. So we paid the extra £1 for BBQ sauce. One of the group wasn't hungry and agreed with a friend to share their meal so we asked for a extra plate but was told no, it's the policy. We offered to pay for a extra empty plate but still told no. We found this unusual and unfair. Drinks were OK but one of the glasses had a lipstick smudge around the rim which wasn't pleasant. Overall not a great visit, I don't think I will return.

Had Christmas dinner today at lunchtime. I cannot fault the whole experience.Good food,good portions, good pricing good surroundings and good attentive staff. My first ever visit.Very impressed.It's a 'Yes' from me.

We have been going to the Copper Beach for years, todays meals were not up to scratch. 2 of my friends are vegetarians and had the pie both said it was warm. I had a sizzling dish, it did not come to the table sizzling like it is meant to. And it was warm not hot! I did tell the waitress all I got was I will let the chef know. Last time I had a meal I also ordered a sizzling dish that didn't come out sizzling either but thought it was a one off, it seems not to be the case. If they are selling sizzling dishes on the menu at least make sure it comes to the table sizzling! Large party are booked here for xmas meal in December lets hope the meals come out hot! They need to have a word with the chef me thinks!

Had a lovely Sunday dinner here, the portions were generous, puddings were freshly made, and a selection of side orders is available, good job all round.

Everything is amazing here, they look after you so well

Unfortunetly 2 of our party did not enjoy the meal,liver was over cooked and the sausages on the bangers and mash had no colour like they had not been browned off so looked uncooked,staff did apologise and offered to re do but they had been put off. Our 2 meals were fine and usually we don't have an issue and will come back

Absolutely perfect! Busy (Thursday) but found us a table. Short wait but the staff were amazing and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Soda water is free in pubs in town and with a Lime shot normally 35p to 75p a pint. £2:20 for a shot of Lime is Ridiculous. You can buy a couple of bottles of lime cordial for that. Rip off merchants!

Amazing food at very reasonable prices!

Over priced dingy place and would certainly not go back there again.

Ordered the 12oz Whale of Cod no way was it 12oz 1/4 of it was overcooked. The chips were greasy and flavourless. Really disappointed with it😭😭

Called in, one adult one child for an evening meal mid-week. Was quite busy, we were asked if we had pre booked a table, and I answered no, the waitress managed to find us a table for two. Food was delivered and prepared quite quickly, so overall, it was a very efficient and speedy service. Menu prices were reasonable, too. However, the food wasn't overly great, in my opinion. They have a lovely outdoor front area, which is covered. (Didn't see out of the back). The car park was quite small and tight. Toilets weren't the cleanest, which kind of let the establishment down.

We arranged a family get together on our last visit back to the UK. The service was fantastic and the friendly banter with the staff was brilliant. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. There was a wide range of meals all reasonably priced. Would recommend The Copper Beach to family and friends for a good night out.

The food was brilliant. A very strange but great hot prawn salad and then a gorgeous parmo followed by a toffee apple tart. Amazing food! However, the service from a member of staff was quite aggressive and rude. Other than that, all good!

Popped in for a sticky toffee pudding. It wasn't great. Service was spot on though and drinks were fine.

My friend and I usually dine here once a month and up until now the food has always been outstanding and the staff pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately this time it wasn't the case. When the waitress asked if everything was ok we informed her no it wasn't the chips were not fresh they had been reheated. She tried to tell us they were fresh and they weren't as good as usual because it was between potato seasons!! As both my friend and I had worked in catering for over 30 years we know what reheated chips look and taste like - so much for customer service, shame on you.

We had a beef Sunday lunch as a take away. A generous portion of beef along with roast potato, mashed potato, carrots, cabbage, swede. The Yorkshire pudding and the gravy were packed separately. It was delicious.

Great food as always, went about 5pm so good was served quickly as it was quite quiet. Service was excellent, plenty of staff. No complaints as ever. Thanks guys.
