Very friendly pub, dog friendly and great beer.

Nice atmosphere with a really good varied menu. Service was good. A great location in the centre of town. Harrisa Chicken was cooked well, I would recommend.

My partner and I were married at the Parlour at the end of March this year and couldn’t recommend it enough. Whilst planning the wedding we met with Naomi and more recently Toyah and they’re absolutely wonderful at helping you plan your day and making sure everything runs smoothly. The food on the day was absolutely incredible and we received so many compliments from guests about the food and how beautiful the venue was. Can’t remember the name of the lady who was coordinator on the day of our wedding (she did have light blonde hair) but we couldn’t recommend her enough, she was absolutely amazing at talking us through the day and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The bridal suite and dressing room were so beautiful and spacious and look great since the refurbishments. We couldn’t recommend the place and the staff enough, they truly were great in making our wedding day special. Thanks so much xx

Great night watching kids sing just a shame place was so cold, room was bitter cold

A lovely cosy cafe with great service and freshly made food. It would have been perfect, as I enjoyed my warm buttered scone and coffee in a large mug…but then an annoying dog yapped sharply and loudly and consistently throughout the time I was there! Spoilt it for me. Shame.

Excellent! Second evening meal here as part of our weekends away in our motorhome. Had lunch here originally by chance when at Lindisfarne festival. Site, facilities and food all superb. Set in the most beautiful location too

Generally a nice pub and lovely to have something so local with nice drinks and food (from what I've heard and had good - on the pricier side) but my goodness, the whole night was such a struggle to actually communicate with the people I went with because of the amount of children screaming, shouting and running around the pub even after 9pm. Totally ruined the vibe and evening.

Italian style ice cream in many delicious flavours offered in the completely unexpected venue. The place shouldn't be missed during hot days at the Blyth beach. Plenty of free car parking space nearby.

Went with my brother, we both had the £18 set menu. Service excellent. I had the Korean chicken starter that was excellent, my brother the soup that was very good. We both had fish and chips that was good and a pint of the good draught beer.

I went here on a Saturday afternoon for some lunch, as a few friends had recommended. Upon arrival, the selection of food was amazing! The cakes were amazing, and the hot food was ok, too; however, this is where it got a bit frustrating. The staff are not the most organised, and they all seem to get a bit confused when it comes to the till as they serve you where the cakes are but then go to the till where it gets crowded, and people do not know who is serving who and because of this we then lost a table that we were waiting for. There are only 4 tables in the shop, so it is recommended to maybe takeaway. However, we had driven 40 minutes to get here, and people just sat when they could see there was a queue for tables. I feel like staff should maybe ask if they would like anything else and ask them to move on or alternatively book a table during busy times such as weekends. I would go here again if I pass for some cakes to take away but would not plan to come here for coffee and catch up with friends just due to the lack of tables and organisation.

This place is just nice. That's all it had to be, not flash or posh just really good and really nice. The craster kipper sandwich is recommended, actually it's flipping awesome.

Stopped at King's head for one night with friends whilst doing coast to coast , I found the landlord Phil and his staff very friendly who went above and beyond in accommodating us , we were arriving late and Phil kept the kitchen open for us to serve a very nice Sunday dinner and fish and chips , the bar was very friendly with a good choice of drinks at very reasonable prices , the rooms very clean , they may be a bit dated but I think that adds to the charm , and a very nice full monty breakfast next morning to send us on our way on our last cycling leg
