Nurtch Coffee House in Northumberland

Been desperate to visit and finally made it today. Well worth the wait. Absolutely amazing café and so great to find somewhere gluten free and dog friendly. The service was amazing and the little touches such as a gluten free biscuit with my coffee whilst my husband who's not got a "normal" biscuit. I fetched the most beautiful fruit scone with pumpkin spice home and it was the best I've had since becoming coeliac. Can't wait to go back and very soon if I can. Staff were super friendly and atmosphere in the café relaxing and calming. Highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful ambience and lovely breakfast. Bacon and sausage sandwich in a brioche bun, enhanced the flavours of the freshly cooked food. Would highly recommend to all.

It was a Friday night, just got back from work tired and hungry. Decided to order online. The pizza, chicken nugget and sprite drink were just what I needed for the night. Thank you Pizza House.

As someone who is neurodivergent, the typical loud cafe setting can be overwhelming. However, this little hidden gem of a place was just right, like Goldilocks finding the perfect spot in the story. This visit was primarily for a business meeting, but I found the tranquility and ambiance so inviting that I am already looking forward to returning soon for more relaxation and good vibes. Absolutely love this place! Has the best pizza in the whole of Ashington and is very reasonably priced too. I order only from here as the food is so delicious.

Beautiful soup with tasty bread and excellent service. We look forward to our takeaway scones. Also excellent to get a pot of hot water with the tea without asking.

Lovely warm clean coffee shop, greeted by friendly staff. The food is homemade, can recommend the afternoon tea, if its a light lunch pannini with a good selection of fillers, this is served with salad homemade slaw and crisps. My new place to go to and won't be changing.

Lovely food and quick delivery. Asked for a little happy birthday note for my sisters birthday and got a free pizza with a cute personalised message and a cake. Very kind and made all our night even more special. Lovely! Thank you!

amazing food arrived hot best pizza

I asked for a seafood pizza and that is not what i asked for instead i got a seafood pizza covered in chicken salmi and pineapple and chilli, cos of the chilli i could not eat it so it waa a waste

Food is always good here however all the extras getting added on aren't ideal. Delivery,ok fair enough. Bag charge? Service charge? Normally charged at restaurants for having your food etc brought to your table. Takeaway Service charge? What bagging it up? Just add extra charges on for the craic why don't you.🙄

Me and my mother have visited this hidden gem on Milburn Road in Ashington a few times now. This place is definitely worth a visit if you can. The service is exceptional and the staff are so kind and welcoming. The food also is amazing quality and at a very reasonable price when compared to other more expensive places in Ashington. My personal favs were the roasted pepper Quiche and gorgeous gluten free chocolate brownie. Also this place is a god send for my mum is Coeliac as Nurtch provides a good selection of Gluten Free dishes. Moreover the owners are more happy to hear recommendations for dishes you might want them to make and add to the menu. Deffo a 10/10 from me and my mum.

First visit to this recently opened establishment and was very impressed. Lovely food at very very reasonable pricing. A selection of toasties, paninis served with salad and crisps. Soup available plus cakes, scones and traybakes. There is a lovely calming relaxing atmosphere within the room and we were looked after extremely well by Michael and Adam. Will certainly be returning to Nurtch in the future.

Ordered my food at 7.30 and it is now 9.12 and still not received it will not be ordering there again it is 9.15 and has just arrived

Absolute Car Crash, Can't even get a simple order correct or Remove items they no longer have in stock from the menu instead they send out substitutes that are completely the wrong item. ridiculous.

Poor service. Was promised a correction in my order following an incorrect order being sent, and when I rang up to reorder they decided they would not be sending a correct order and were very rude during the process. Disappointing service, awful attitude and honestly a waste of money.

Online order of 3 pizza, 3 cans pop at 16:47 to deliver for 17:15. At 17:50 2 pizzas n 3 cans arrived. Rang at 19:45 cos still waiting on our other pizza. Told they were very busy, only had two pairs of hands but it'll be with me very soon... Its now 20:21...no 3rd pizza. Ridiculous. Surely you'd complete one oder before doing the next... Tea time ruined and I'm starving. Shame cos pizzas are really good. Not be using the website again 😒😠

I had to rate this place not only because the pizzas are AMAZING but also to thank the kind gentleman working there that gave my autistic 7 year old a capri sun for nothing. (He was munching on a gingerbread man that was rather dry so he was thrilled to get a drink and i think he was taken back by it. As we walked home we talked about how nice it is to be nice! That small gesture was just lovely and it made botb of our days. We had just been to the co-op for fruit for the next day and the smell of food coming from pizza house was just too tempting. We opted for a half pepperoni and half a chicken kiev, it was delicious and cooked to perfection! We don't often get pizza but I am so glad we did last night. Ordered cheese and chips waited an hour when they came they came in a tiny little pizza box and because of that the cheese stuck to the lid. The portion was tiny wouldn’t even feed a small child. Definitely not worth £3. 🖕🖕🖕

First time ordering , absolutely gorgeous kabab meat loads for your money. Garlic bread could do with a little more cheese and garlic for taste only the bread was beautiful and soft. The salad was presented well and fresh. 5* for the delivery driver who had a smile and even said thank you and enjoy your meal ! Service goes along way , delivery on time couldn't fault it at all 👏👏👏👏👏

Food is always great. They have delivered much earlier than i requested on just eat. I called and they were very polite and nice and sent me the food out at requested time. Always use pizza house, best pizza in Ashington!

Got my order wrong the first time got a delivery for a free pizza to replace the wrong pizza got the worng sauce 2 times then ontop of that the kebab tasted so fatty and disgusting. The BBQ bacon pizza was disgusting too both of them I'm not going here again

Best mixed wraps in Ashington by a mile however there pizzas are terrible...stale, overpriced and lack in flavour.

Cold salty dry pizza. Rubbish cheese and much cheese at all.

Pizza base under cooked toppings was burnt in places,chips soggy chicken kebab chicken was chewy won't be ordering from here any time soon Will stick to who we know

Not very good service burger was burnt and late

Food always spot on and hot upon arrival. Kebab meat quality extremely good along with the burgers. Chips are never soggy and piping hot. Highly recommended. Customer service is excellent and will do what they can to help.

Chicken wraps are the best in the area

having worked in a pizza shop myself I know a Pizza takes 10 minutes to make inc toppings cooking etc yet still waited an hour and 15 minutes for food, only got 2 trays of meat and a garlic bread and the Bread was hard and not even Luke warm good food, terrible service tonight

We have never had a bed experience with the Pizza house. Their jalapeño stuffed crust pizzas are to die for. Their kebabs are also very nice, and the portions are very generous.
