The best restaurants serving British food in Westgate Newcastle upon Tyne North East

Great bar, good beer but they run the menu from untapped which is currently 3 days out of date. Annoying if you've walked across town and annoying when you keep asking for beers that aren't on.

Out on Easter Saturday in fine weather and we were recommended the Beehive and they were not wrong plenty of easy parking, loads of people/ Families enjoying some wonderful food great service and fine weather. The menu had enough variety for everyone the service was excellent the staff knowledgeable of there wines was great. If you are ever in the area I can not recommend it highly enough.

My go-to spot for lunch breaks, and for good reason. Their pastries are always a delight, but what truly stands is the blueberries porridge. Clean and welcoming

We have never stayed here but before lockdown we went here a lot for food was delicious staff were lovely was a shame when they haven’t opened back up has a pub .

My favourite pub in Newcastle with a single open bar, great range of beers, wine and spirits. Really skilled and friendly bar staff serving a mixed clientele. Good atmosphere.

Good traditional Italian restaurant. Would be hard to find better value in Newcastle. Booking's a good idea.

This little cafe has become a firm favourite place to eat when we go to Newcastle. Absolutely gorgeous homemade food and lovely service from the staff.

Busy just before the Newcastle match. Staff working fast and efficiently to keep wait time to a minimum.

Don’t leave reviews usually but felt like I had too as this place is closing and wanted to share how much fun we had. We attended a brunch here on a Saturday afternoon and it was great fun! Better than others in the city, the venue is so pretty and the music was great. Such a shame it’s leaving us, we would love to have come back!

Fui al hermoso mercado de Grainger para desayunar y elegí este lugar porque ya tenía algunas personas sentadas comiendo y la comida se veía bien. Iba detrás de un bacon bap y una taza, pero fue muy bueno. El servicio fue rápido y agradable, nunca me cansaré de ser llamado 'mascota' cuando visite Newcastle. Volvería aquí de nuevo, encantador negocio local.
