The best restaurants serving British food in Chaucer Southwark London

Un super spot pas loin de Tower Bridge, un excellent fish and chips, avec une excellente qualité de produit, et un prix très sympa pour Londres. Et un accueil vraiment super sympa. Je recommande chaudement.

We were having a great time until the owner came out and made some racist comments about our friend (who is black, and we're all white). Pretty unbelievable that that level of racism still exists in central London in 2025.

Nice local feel pub, with good hand pull pint

The Restaurant is great, they have got delicous foods.

The place itself is okay, with decent clientele and enough seating. Staff come across as rude, however, and do not seem like they care at all. Also, the manager might want to think about having a word with the bouncer on the door. I watched him provoke 3 completely unnecessary arguments with tables surrounding us. When we asked what happened, none of them knew why he (the bouncer) had confronted them. For reference, this took place on the 3rd of Jan 2025.

Mi primera vez probando pastel, puré y licor y fue muy sabroso y bien presentado. Los precios son decentes y el personal es muy amable. Mi único problema era lo incómodo que es el asiento allí. Los asientos son de madera y muy duros, y el banco en sí hizo que mi espalda cesara, lo que también me dio puntos de sutura y calambres en mi cuerpo. Me alegré de levantarme y volver a moverme. Salvo esto, mi experiencia fue genial! Gracias chicos.

Vino para un lugar de desayuno que era sabroso. El tocino no era lo que esperaba, pero sabroso de todos modos. Se lava con un buen café negro

We ate here at the weekend and everything was fantastic.

Great fish and chips and the rest of the food was also good. Also the atmosphere was amazing. However the stack is a bit lacking. The one manning the bar told us wrong information and when we arrived early they said our table wasn't ready yet, but when we walked around finding a place to sit and maybe take a drink, but then we found our table completely ready

Came here for lunch and it was nice and warm on a cold day. The decor was nice and it had a good atmosphere. I felt that the price for sandwiches was fine and they were tasty too. Really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy and service was good.

This place is extortionate! paid £32 pounds for 2 Gin tonic yesterday. Comical

Visited multiple times during our visit to London... Found it very slow for food but even at 8.30am, it was quite busy... Food was as you expect at a Wetherspoons and reasonable in price.

A buzzing pub hidden behind London Bridge station. In a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Quick and friendly service. Will definitely be coming here again in the summer!
