Nice atmosphere, friendly staff , very good quality of food , good price and I recommend this place

Local pub near from the station of Elephant and Castle. Their breakfasts are cheap and nice! Pints are brilliant too!

Me and my boyfriend popped in for a prosecco late one Saturday afternoon and were suitably impressed. The service via the app was swift and friendly. We also managed to snuggle into a cosy booth. The toilets, which were located downstairs were beautifully clean. All in all, a lovely time was enjoyed by us both. Recommended.

The manager with colour shirt was racist and didn't give drinks to one of our friends. And he let his friends to get into the pub at 12:50am when the pub was almost to close.......no more to weatherspoons

Had a few pints in here. I haven't been here for quite a while. Place looks like it's been done up a bit, cleaner. Friendly staff.

Lovely place, spacious and comfortable seats, service was great and fast. I had the Large Breakfast and Latte for like £9 which was great value and the breakfast was pretty good

Was around for an event and thought to grab a bite and few drinks with friends. The first round of drinks was ordered at the bar and all was well. The second round of drinks was ordered through the app (spiced rum n coke and Coffee liquor n coke - both doubles) . Took one sip it seems like there was no alcohol at all. So went ahead to the bar and let them know. First we were told there was only single shots of said alcohol added as it was on the receipt. Took said receipt to the bar and confirmed it was doubles. Manager was called ( by staff) and explained the situation, to which the manager asked us “what do you want us to do? “ to make us a drinks with doubles as we hadn’t taken more than one sip of the previous drink and returned it back. The manager then goes to say that they are happy to refund the drinks and then we can be on our way out ( -_- ). Wouldn’t recommend only because managers aren’t taught problem solving skills.

Ah! Good catering. Has a fresh look and feel. Still a lively place even for breakfast. No complaints. The free refills is a super idea. Good coffee too. I'd say, keep on rocking... 👍

It was busy when we arrived. The pub offered a good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks (including food choices) at very reasonable prices.

The place has goods and bads The prices are good, for instance you have free refills for hot drinks The food has good prices but wouldn't say is the best food, is just very basic and lacks flavour Service is fast but nobody seems to clean the tables nor the bar for hours You can come if you want low prices and a place to spend some time

Shocking spoons. Drink left out after being poured and no one to take it to your table. Not enough staff. Food taking 30 minutes plus to arrive.

Nice meal. Very busy, but this is because it is cozy and not expensive.

I was not here too often . I ate once, food frozen and defrosted served after 1-2 days, nothing special, is normal for a place like this. A few times, I had some drinks , and again, nothing special, just prices are well grown and, nothing else..

One of the nicest bartenders I’ve been served by. Jazz was incredibly helpful with using the app and probably one of the nicest bartenders I have been served by. Loved the pub, atmosphere and food Jazz’s service made the entire visit that much better for me and the rest of my group.

Food was cold ish for 9am had a coffee the water was cold from the machine so I ended up making myself a cup of tea instead .

I recently called in just for a drink. Typical Wetherspoons pub.

Sat outside for a relaxing fish and chips lunch. Very nice and service provided fast and with a smile 😁 I sat on the obvious non smoking area, but some 20's age group didn't have the brain power to know it's no smoking! 🚭 I went again, this time for a breakfast. As I have a disability I sat by the hot drinks machine and condiments table. When my breakfast came I went for salt and pepper.. No salt so I asked server near by and was told to walk to another condiments station. Not salt there either! Slowly walked back to my table and told the server there was no salt there... She took her time finding some but just put it on condiment table and ignored me six feet away. I got up yet again to get some salt. Looking closer at the breakfast the two eggs had broken yolks and were over cooked, NASTY! The compleat breakfast looked a mess. I was so annoyed (I'm being polite and not swearing), I just got up and walked out, never to return. The mood I was in I would have sworn at the manager so I just walked out.

Stopped in for easy lunch option on way to somewhere else. Might make it a more regular thing! Food was as expected, certainly no worse. Enjoyed sitting here with my pint of dark ale, watching all of the different characters

I've been living above this Weatherspoon since 2003... perfect for a really hungover breakfast..it's full of townies... or if you've had an all nighter and need some flat cold beer then this place is perfect 👌

Bad Service, not only slow but also serving people who are pushing past and not in the queue to be served but rather standing off away from the tills, took 37 minutes to reach the front of the line and even then someone else who pushed past got served before me, clearly friends of workers.

Cheap drinks, but terrible foods. I will not recommend to have food in this pub.

We used to go here regularly but generaly due to several reasons now avoid. Food, drink & service is ok but our problem is with the management & ownership more than the service team. They have made some silly decisions during their recent refurbishment for example they placed clear glass on ground floor windows looking into neighbouring block (instead of opaque glass as per the planning application) which compromises customer privacy as well as residents’ privacy - a really stupid decision). Please see video below. And other reasons perhaps best not mentioned here....

Shame that a poor experience in a spoons will confirm a lot of people’s negative opinions on the whole group, busyish Saturday afternoon and the staff were clearly struggling with long waits for both food and drinks wether ordering on the app or at the bar, tables left uncleared for my whole visit and sticky, shame as most of the ones I’ve used up and down the country are usually good

Comimos aquí para el desayuno temprano en un jueves y era muy tranquilo. Tuvimos dos envolturas de desayuno y dos muffins de desayuno, que inesperadamente vino con queso. Todo estaba bien como es normal en otras cucharas. La comida llegó rápidamente.

Went in today ordered a children's nuggets chips and beans with apple juice, a pizza and portion of onion rings with 2x pepsi, after 45 minutes of waiting just for our drinks I asked where they was only to be told we would have to wait another 30 minutes, bare in mind people coming in after us was receiving theirs after a few minutes, the tables had food from this morning plates cutlery glasses left on them with flies, when the food arrived it was stone cold and inedible won't be returning

This place has had a refurb, it looks amazing. Totally enjoyed my time in the Rockingham. Wetherspoons are great, however they all have the same problem. There's never enough staff behind the bar.

Racist pub, i got some drinks service was very rude called me deaf and blind. Very unprofessional!! If u are a person of a different colour u will get treated differently.

I visited The Rockingham Arms for a Sunday lunch, expecting a traditional Sunday pub roast. Unfortunately, they don't serve Sunday roasts at this location, so I opted for the cheeseburger instead. It was very nice, and the service was quick and efficient. The drinks were good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. They also have a great outdoor area out the front, and given that it was a perfect sunny day in London, I enjoyed sitting out there having a few drinks in the sun. Overall, it was a very nice experience, and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it for a casual and enjoyable meal when catching up with friends.

Very nice place with good atmosphere. The lady who wears the glasses behind the bar is great fun, and very efficient in her role. Overall, its a great place. Food and drink is good. I would definitely recommend a visit.

In London for the weekend went to this place it was so good the food was great and service fast ,the atmosphere was amazing lots of love and laughter would definitely recommend a visit here.

Great venue, great staff, great prices.

Went for a Monday lunch and I can say the service was instant (beers came to our table within 5 minutes of ordering) and food didn’t take long at all either. Food was fresh, chips were crispy, and chicken was great too. Fish was definitely crispy and fresh with the mushy peas being a highlight itself.

Service without a smile, ordered to table drinks and dinner drinks didn't come out till food was ready, daughters curry tasted worse then tesco ready meal my ham was good chips warm not hot and well eggs were over cooked, ordered pudding as still starving warm chocolate fudge cake with icecream cake that warm my ice cream stayed frozen ie not warm when meal and drink bought looked like staff were in rush drop and go quicker than take away delivery man, and when pudding brought and dirty plates taken it was grab and go didn't even waste time to ask which pudding was for who I know it's a cheap chain but a smile cost nothing al9ng with manners

Clean place, been here few times to have quick breakfast and coffee.. I had toast with jam and egg English muffin. You can refill your unlimited coffees from the machine and also tea.. The price is great for London... Cheap and cheerful... I love this place

the pub itself is fine - the issue is with the security. saw a woman who was clearly being forcibly grabbed and kissed by a stranger (she kept trying to fight him off) right in front of security and they repeatedly did nothing. I went up and asked them to intervene and they laughed it off, leaving me to tell the guy to back off and him trying to grab me instead. also, weirdly expensive and small TV screens

Went there twice in a day, the first time for coffee, the second for drinks, both were excelent and the vibe matched both differently yet completely.

Estuve visitando Londres y Elephant and Castle durante unos días y me recomendaron usar Rockingham Arms en Elephant and Castle para comer, ya que el alojamiento que estaba usando no ofrecía ningún servicio de comida. Fuimos a Rockingham Arms a desayunar un día y pedimos Huevos Benedicto, y cuando llegó la comida, los huevos estaban mocosos, y las magdalenas utilizadas ni siquiera se tostaron adecuadamente. En mi opinión el desayuno era bastante horrible y la única mejor parte de la experiencia fue Josh el servidor, era un excelente miembro del personal. Regresé esa noche con un amigo para la cena y de nuevo la comida era deficiente y bastante lamentable. Quienquiera que suministre la comida a The Rockingham Arms y quienquiera que sea el Chef, no están haciendo un muy buen trabajo. Una vez más, la única mejor parte de este establecimiento es el personal. Además, los baños de este establecimiento también deben ser condenados. Estaban en mala calidad. Definitivamente no volveré a usar este lugar de nuevo cuando regrese a Elephant and Castle

Rude door staff and managers. I had a genuine complaint and I was treated with contempt. This seems to be common across Wetherspoons establishments, they don’t take well to criticism, are ableist and don’t recognise hidden disabilities.

No kids friendly ,very disappointed 😔 😕 😞

A very busy Westherspoons, we used the app to order, which was easy, and made it a quick service!

Had one drink while waiting for a friend so didn't experience a great deal but..went looking for the loo and because of poor vision asked for help..the staff member escorted me through the bar downstairs and offered to wait... good service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rubbish pub and there are far better pubs in the area. They really need to do a better job with cleaning. The beer tasted stale. All the tables are dirty and sticky. The toilets absolutely stank. Never going back.

Has just had a refurb and is now very clean and nice compared to what it used to be! Very affordable and staff and friendly. Classic Wetherspoons atmospheres. Smoking and seated area out front although no proper pub garden. Always very well maintained and efficient service.

It‘s sucks，especially staff！ We ask the manager come and he said he is the manager. And he ask we leave with noting…I won’t come here again, and I won’t come here with my friends and classmates. After we bought some drinks, some friends wanted to kick us out because we didn't bring ID. I felt discriminated against. We can provide any evidence other than physical ID to prove that we are old enough to drink, but the person who claimed to be the manager didn't listen. I will choose the Elephant and Castle pub next door with better service attitude

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of two things. Chaz who is a very kind and direct manager. And also, because I ordered a drink and a random person paid for my drink (I did not know who they were, I was just told to pay it forward which I will (however will not do this at an expensive pub because I can’t be paying £7 for a pint cool thanks))

The chicken wings are delectable here. There's an outdoor seating area for those who smoke. The alcohol collection is vast, although one may not find every cocktail on the menu. The location is quite accessible through public transport. However, the toilets may not be accessible to people with some physical disabilities. Overall, the food and ambience is awesome. The service is good too. 5 stars.

This is a great Witherspoon pub/restaurant. When your staying in London near by it is a great place to get a pint & a meal at a good price. The atmosphere is also good with plenty of space etc.

If you are tourist, or coming in a group of people but carried any souvenir or bag or suitcase, the security at the entrance will ask you to leave immediately due to policy issue. They think you will not spend any money in the pub but eat your souvenir instead. (No matter they are ready-to-eat or not) Well done guard by saving my money to elsewhere🙃 Never been treated like that in other Weatherspoon before.

The staff were very friendly and so helpful as we were just visiting for the weekend and had got a bit lost. We met a few locals to who were so lovely and good fun.

We stopped here for some food and a drink after a show. The place was busy for a Monday night and had a nice vibe to it. The food was ok, but what made the evening bad was the hair my girlfriend found in her dessert. So please check your food before you eat.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. They'll give you suggestions on where else to go. Food is on point and short wait times. Great spot overall!! We always go here for after work catch ups, (or days off), big tourist spot also, but service never drops off. Good people and good vibes overall ✌️

Only had a tea, being unlimited refills was a good surprise. Unfortunately going up for a second and both machines not working. They got fixed but I had to leave before so that's why a lower score. Also, service even though only 4 people in the place as 9 am service for food coming out was slow, it was on the heater for a while before being served out. Also, staff were not the happiest. Overall, would happily and have been back if going to London early for a morning brew.
