Nando's - Elephant & Castle in Southwark

Excellent service from all the crew, particularly from Ajoke, who looked after our table. Food and atmosphere were great.

Good experience. Nice to be able to I place my order using the Nando's app. Mobile network connection wasn't great in the restaurant where I sat, but eventually it all worked out fine and the food came quick enough.

Butter fly I ate there and it cost me 9.50, very poor food, I felt cheated and robbed, I wouldn't eat there again.

We came in for a takeaway and Chloe was amazing. Super helpful, super friendly. We were perimazed! We didn’t think it could get any cluckin better and then Dillan arrived with all the sauces we needed, and the biggest smile I’ve seen in London. I’m pretty sure this is the best Nando’s I’ve ever been too! Will definitely go out of my way to come To this branch again! They’re absolute professionals, certainly not winging it! We were served by Dilan and Chloe and what an exceptional duo. They were really great at their job and friendly even brought the cutlery to the table for us. Thank you so much. also very appreciative of the back of house as the food came out quick and good .

Food was good, service not so much We placed our order at the register. Around 35 min later, and after the tables around us which arrived later were already being served, we went up to the register to check what was wrong. They informed us that everything was okay and that they were working on it. Not much later, one of our two dishes arrived. Sadly it was already relatively cold, so my friend couldn't wait for my own dish to arrive. It took another 15 mins, and a waitress coming to check on me which dish I had again (?) for my own food to arrive. The bun was relatively burnt and you could tell that it was prepared in a rush, after we asked about it at the register. We did get an apology for what happened, but that's about it. They didn't ask about wether we enjoyed the food or not when they cleared our table up. This left us pretty disappointed, and even though we were tourists, not trying this again.

Posting this review because we weren't asked how our meal was. The food itself tasted good. But we waited 45 minutes for our food. After asking if all went well, we got one of 2 dishes almost cold. 15 minutes later the other dish arrived, hastily prepared. A real shame as this could be a great meal.

We arrived at 9:56pm and they said they were open for only Collection. On the website and on google, it says 11pm. This needs to be specified as we drove 45 minutes to come to this Nandos and it was not nice to be turned away. Please fix your opening times to avoid misleading your customers. We wanted to dine in and had no choice only to take away the food which is a shame. If you are open for just deliveroo until 11pm, please specify!!

Excellent food and wine...! I can SERIOUSLY recommend the Peri Mac & Cheese and the Levity Rosé. Absolutely delicious 😋 and GREAT service too. My only gripes...? The temperature of the restaurant (too cold on what was a cold day) and the size of one of my 4 Chicken Thighs (which was just a strip of meat, hidden under the other 3). 😔

No heating in restaurant prices not correct on menu and service is terrible would never go there again. I didn't even stay to eat I just left STAY AWAY FROM THIS NANDOS

Till training should be a priority but Dilan's customer service is 10/10. Such a pleasant, helpful and proactive front of house nandoca. My five stars are for him.

Came in here last night with my girlfriend to get some take out a decent while before closing. Not even 30 seconds in the security guard says "Either order something or get out". I won't be spending any money here ever if that's how you treat your customers.

We had a waiter called Dylan (or maybe David or something similar) who was the most helpful and friendly waiter I've met in ages, really made such a lovely experience!

Ordered through a food delivery app as we have done a few times before and received raw chicken! Absolutely furious as a I am 5 months pregnant and food poisoning is highly dangerous for pregnant women! Disgusted!

Great and fast service, there’s always someone welcoming customers as soon as you come in. The restaurant is very clean and the food is great , I usually come In With my family , my children love the kids meal As there’s good different choices available, specially the sides .I went yesterday for a take away as I was running late to work and I was impressed with the fast service , I tried the “sunset burger “ for the first time and was delicious . My partner went for the finger licking quarter chicken and peri fries .

Ordered a veg wrap. Mushroom oozing grease, pitta cold and dry, halloumi paltry amount, fried barely warm...no one checked on our eating experience. Other meal- wings overcooked so very tough and chewy. Fires lukewarm. Staff were wondering around. Tables were not sanitized. Very disappointing.

Food was great! Service was amazing! We had a tall black man serving us, Roughly 6’3 and he was amazing ! he worked exceptionally hard and was checking in to ensure all our needs was met. Will definitely be attending again!

The food is terrible, cold, dry... It took them a long time to bring the food and the burger and all the quantities are very small

We visited Nandos today and despite being fairly busy we were nicely greeted and seated by a very welcoming and helpful gentleman called ANAS. He made our brief visit very lovely and nice. Never been here before but we would definitely be coming back here again. Definitely a place to eat at if you're in the area. Keep up the good work guys 😀😀😀😀

One of the few restaurant chains in England that still care about good quality and fresh ingredients, you can taste it.

이 난도스 라는 곳은 프렌차이즈로 꽤 많이 있더라구요. 가볼만 합니다. 진짜 영국 사람들이 자주 먹는 음식이구요. 맥앤치즈가 쫄깃하니 추천할만 합니다. 매장 안에 들어가면 인원수 물어보고 좌석 안내해주구요. 좌석에 앉아서 QR코드로 주문하면 됩니다. 팁 같은 문화도 없구요. 다만 맛있진 않아요. 그냥 평범합니다. 닭고기 맛나고 다양한 소스 있는데 셀프로 가져다 찍어먹으면 예를 들자면 우리나라 김밥천국 같은 느낌 정도의 맛이라고 생각하시면 될 거 깉아요. 음료는 꼭 시키세요. 퍽퍽한 음식들이 즐비해서 못 참습니다.

My partner and I came for a (cheeky) Nandos dinner as we walked passed and entered expecting the usual average. However we were warmly greeted by security as well as our server named Dilan then taken to our table. The food was, as usual, really good. I only write this review to commemorate Dilans excellent service. I work in a world famous restaurant up near Mayfair and I have to say his service is almost better than some of our trained staff! He has made this out favourite nandos👏👏

It gets very busy on a Friday night, good vibes and food is nice.

I have never had such a good service at a Nandos before. Dilan made our visit special by talking to us in our language and always ensuring that we had a pleasant experience.

My waiter Dylan, SOMEONE GET THIS MAN A PROMOTION, impeccable service. I had more attention from him tonight than my gf in the last week. Most rundown Nando’s in London? Barely any table doesn’t shake, the broken door is fixed with a cheap wood panel. But hey, the food is good!

Despite coming in abit before closing time, Dilan was an attentive and efficient server with great energy! Will definitely recommend and come again!

Me and my mum, went to have dinner at elephant and castle Nando’s. the food was so delicious .the customer service was top notch. The staff and Frank the manager was so friendly, am definitely going back there next time.

Food was as good as usual, but seating area felt a tad cramped and dated. Possibly will be refreshed when surrounding building works finished. Service good .

Everyone recommended Nando’s when we mentioned we were vacationing in London and now I see why. The food was delicious and the right amount of spicy. (We all agreed we’re going to pick up a bottle of peri peri sauce at home now that it’s sold in US grocery stores). Dilan helped us out and had us laughing and provided above & beyond great service. We talked about him all week. Great place to grab a quick bite on our trip!

Waited 35 minutes, people coming in later than me getting food first. I love Nando’s and go at least weekly. First time here since moving to area, and has to be hands down worst I’ve eaten at. Slow service, when food did come garlic bread was literally freezing and soggy, rice portion minute and quarter chicken was a skank bit of leg. Won’t be returning

Its just your average Nandos. But the team here really need to up their game on cleaning. Way to many small fruit like flies about whilst I was eating. Very irritating.

Been coming here over 15 years and I don't think the standard has dropped in that time. Staff are genuinely approachable and helpful. You're rarely waiting too long for the food.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon, food was great. There was a mix-up with our drinks, but it was quickly rectified. Staff were all friendly.

Inconsiderate, dirty neighbours. I live near Nando’s and see how filthy and rat infested the back of the building. They are also rude to the residents of the building where they are based. It’s also a terrible Nando’s compared to other ones. The fries are often cold and soggy. Avoid this one and go to another Nando’s.

The Food and ambiance was decent but one of the nicest service i have seen in recent times. The staff members very diligent and helpful.

I’d love to go here to eat. if only it was Halal. There’s a big community of Muslims in the elephant and castle area. It would be great if we had a halal nandos. I know you have a vegetarian options but as Muslims, majority are carnivores. Nando’s business would do so well, no doubt!

Came here today (6th September) with my baby and the staff were great. Very accommodating and helpful, particularly Dylan who served us who was personable and attentive. Food came hot, which is always good! Staff member at the door noticed I needed cutlery as I had my hands full, really pleased with the customer service.

Service was rapid and the staff were nice. The portions however were very small for the exuberant price and the chicken was burnt and thus tasted awful. Shame.

The foods what you expect from nandos. It's not amazing it's just chicken. We've had better we've had worse. Be nice to be served at the table not having to use an app. Does take away from the personal touch and the communication from your server. So for me to TIP the lady or gent. Who made our meal a little bit special.

Last time at Nando’s Ordered Nando’s a couple of weeks ago, visit this branch today, clearly food standards have decreased ( although it seems to be a trend in the UK ) the chicken in particular…huge disappointment. At least before it was worth the money, now it’s not. Service…well I am sure they did their best but they seem to be clearly under qualified for the job ( one of the consequences of Brexit? ) I have also experienced this in order restaurants, …they did not even bother in helping me place the order, they literally said “check the QR code” follow by a “you’re right?” In the middle of my meal. They were not rude, they simply did not know better.

I ordered my from deliveroo and also called up the company to ask for my chicken to be well done and also to have sauces added they confirmed this was ok. I then received my chicken dry and no sauce was added. To add to this the manager said he would call me back and now is ignoring my call. Keep away from this nandos the staff and food is not high standards.

We‘ve been there first time- tourists from germany. The food was great, served in a minute. First visit is a little bit tricky- normally you should use a app or order online- but you can do it without any problems at the desk as well. Especially Dilan was a very nice waiter- our kids love him! Nothing bad to say! If we could, we‘d come often in the future!

Food was like typical Nando's, no complaints! Been eating here frequently for a while now, and Frank's service has been absolutely superb! He is thoughtful and passionate, and his professionalism is excellent! Kudos to him, and the rest of the staff!

I was at this Nandos couple of times and both times our meal ended up being mixed up. Yesterday 25/03, I went there with my wife and order food and asked cashier if I could have my green reward(1/4chicken), but without my knowledge she deducted £3.50 from bill. When I realised her mistake, I went back and talk to someone and waited good 5 minutes then talked to Nicola ( one of the manager she claimed). She just told me that is fine you just pay for a 1/4 chicken which I was agreed, but they wanted to charge me £5.25. I told her this is not right. Why do I have to pay £5.25 when Nandos deducted only £3.50 from bill which I did not asked to do that. She told me that she can not do it through her touch screen till, but happy to write her name and give me free next time ( postponed the problem and their incompetent). I explained, that I had an issue and your manger wrote his name but it not resolved. She was aggressive and expected me to accept their mistake. Finally, she accept her mistake and gave me my 1/4 chicken. And when I told her she was wrong she told me "WHATEVER" which I could accept. We have been Nandos customer in past 25 years, but I could sense that they are failing their customers with poor customer service. When my wife talked to Nicola, she admitted that they have decided to deduct from bills in their meeting which is not right. They have increased prices and size of their chicken smaller than KFC and even Marlys. They have also increase their reward for whole chicken from 3 to 4. I will complain to their head office and share my experience on their Facebook page and tweeter account as well as trust pilot. We gave it try one more time, but everything has changed to absolutely bu*******t. Avoid rip of place.

Went there for lunch with the mates and we were quickly seated. Boned chicken wasn't available so I ordered thighs instead. Arrived quickly and enjoyed, just like any other nandos. Was a bit quiet but I enjoyed that

I regularly dine here and every time I do it's always a great experience. The food always tastes amazing and the service from Dillon is first class. He really knows how to look after his customers and never fails to put a smile on my face!

Probably the nicest Nando's I've been to regarding service; prompt and highly attentive staff to customers on site - even the more eccentric visitors! 😅 Food was initially cold on arrival but staff got it up to standard upon request. Thanks! It made all the difference 💜 Also, shout out to the Google translator duo on legs - they're multilingual and catered to a variety of customers which was amazing!!! Especially the tall, black, polyglot gentleman who seemed to be managing everything personally from tills, customer enquiries, delivery window and table running! 🤩

My favourite, sangria with vegeburger and corn. They sell nice pasteis de nata. I've been working for Nando's years ago and I know the provide a real food

It is similar to Korean spicy roasted chicken. Taste good but it is a shame the quantity isn't enough.
