Nando's - Elephant & Castle in Southwark

James really made up the night! Polite & attentive. Food was a little slow because it was busy but James (manager) made sure it was hot & tasty.

Order was mixed up and so was delayed (almost an hour until we got our food!) but it was hot, well cooked and very tasty when we did finally get to eat. Staff were lovely, especially Ajoke!

Been here many times. Always, delicious. My favourite is the chicken livers Peri peri!!!

Tasty chicken and rice but broccoli was cold and the stems a bit too hard.

Shout out to Lili! Such warm and friendly energy. Makes the whole Nando’s experience feel like 11/10

Best Nando’s in the whole of London!! I love Nando’s and I’ll always go for a cheeky one when I can, but this one is always on point! Super friendly staff, quick service, food always fresh! I think it’s important to give credit when credit is due! Keep up the good work! You guys are great!

Service was amazing . The servers were polite and accommodating. Everything was clean the food was tasty and exactly how I wanted it, cause you know Nandos‘s life. I loved it thank you good meal and atmosphere.

The food is average, you order via QR code, you pay immediately. The service is only there to seat you and bring you beer and glasses. A small plus for asking if we have an allergy to anything. You buy soft drinks, cutlery, etc. yourself at such a counter.

i was in a rush i ordered a salad it was 15 minutes past and i asked where is my salad, they said that it is out of stock, and if i didn’t ask i wouldn’t eat

Was served by James and as someone who worked years for nandos ,this is a good and fast service at the till. I ordered the Livers and it was undercooked unfortunately and too dry.the the food wasn't good .also my garlic bread was just burnt on the side.

The concept was something completely new for us but it was fun. The food was really very tasty. I can't really rate the service as no one actually takes the order etc. and the ambience was standard but we'll be happy to come back on another visit to London.

Ordered via the app and it was easy and straightforward but when the food arrived it was hot but my very dry and over cooked . worst was we ordered Garlic Bread and just got a bread roll ! - Might be best to look at other Nando’s if choosing delivery

Really nice atmosphere, we went in on the 16th of September around half 4-5 ish and Edison was really kind and helpful, very cute, and there was another helpful lady but I don’t want to spell her name wrong, but she was also really nice

Love this Nandos!!! We went a month ago and wings were a bit burnt, but this time I just flagged to manager if it can be a bit less cooked, and it was perfect. Thank you for being to attentive. Also, all the kuddos to Dilan our server, who was very energetic, humble, and made our experience brilliant. Also, noticed little things like I'm pregnant, and offered to use a bathroom on the same floor instead of going downstairs. Give that man a raise or a good bonus!! He really deserved it. I wish all people who work in hospitality were like this. You have a bright future, Dilan, ahead!

We ordered the fino pitta and the full platter and everything was absolutely amazing and cooked so well. Our server Dillan was absolutely fantastic he was very friendly and attentive and at one point even offered to refill our drinks for us. He went above and beyond to offer a service to us. We highly recommend this Nando’s and to be served by Dillan as he made our experience lovely

First the app didn’t work, then we got given food that wasn’t ours, then we got told that the food we ordered wasn’t available, then the food that supposedly unavailable arrived at the table but… it was cold. Oh the staff were terrible or there hearing must be bad may need to get it checked. And at the end of this whole polava we got a refund for one meal. Thank you Elephant and Castle Nando’s you really did a crappy job. (Also ruined my mums birthday dinner.)

The food is delicious! Really appreciated the free re-fillable water in glasses!! We didn't expect that also the food of kids' menu is hot...it was ok, but next time better to order without sauce for our child. Dilan really nice makes you feel very welcome :-)

We just got here after watching football at a nearby bar. They were closing up and still invited us in to take what they had left. Whilst sitting there, we witnessed the ‘family’ they have there - folks greeting each other like siblings and that love extended to us as customers. They asked us how we’re doing, they asked me about my team, they made sure we had everything we wanted and I’ve not felt that welcome in a 5* place! So throw your assumptions, your distastes and any biases away. I’ll be going back here again and again for the amazing people who showed us what they’re really about. Incredible service. Loved you all. Thank you! 🙏

Tried the new chicken wraps. Got my stomach full, but the chicken could have been a bit more spiced. Service was great and we were greeted with a smile.

This is my local Nando’s and it is amazing! There is a server, dhillon, who is the best Nando’s server I’ve ever come across. He is attentive, kind and brings good vibes to the Nando’s. He always makes sure you’re okay and deals with any complaints quickly and professionally. He honestly is amazing and makes me come back to this Nando’s time and time again. On top of that, the food comes out fast and the quality is always great. Would highly recommend ! Update: I’ve had to knock off a star despite loving this Nando’s. There is an older male manager with white hair that shouts at his staff in front of customers for making simple mistakes. It was really unfair and these poor staff members are only trying their best! All the customers felt awkward when this was occurring on 1/8/24

Food was very burnt and bread rolls were dry. Commented in my feedback but Nando’s didn’t respond. Shame as this used to be a regular spot for me, but not with food that’s clearly overcooked. Outside seating area is nice though when the weathers good but could do with more cleaning between guests as tables/floor was covered in food when we arrived.

Decent pricing. Quick service. Food isnt mind blowing as one would expect from a seni-fast food restaurant but you get good portions of chicken. Bottomless fizzy drinks and ice cream. Free tap water and ice.

Favourite Nando’s in London hands down

The service was so slow. I placed an order for a takeaway, had to repeat my order to the person at the till twice and even then he still got the spice level wrong (I asked for medium twice, my order came as lemon & herb - not even close!). I asked for spicy rice and corn on the cob, somehow fries made its way into my bag. & it took so long, people that ordered after me got their food before me, likewise I got my food before people that had ordered before me. It’s a shame because the food is good, as you’d expect from Nando’s.

I liked the food but the service was very bad, they kick people out and they have no care or patience, it was a very bad place to share a good time over lunch or dinner, they were very rude, I only recommend the food.

Had an amazing lunch here today. I had one of the most friendly waiters called Dilan, he should honestly be promoted, he was super helpful and made my whole family's dinning experience wonderful. Also the food was fresh and delicious as always. would 100% recommend this Nando's !!!

Something completely different. Definitely a recommendation for friends of Creole cuisine. Be careful with the sauces. Sometimes very spicy. 😂

Dillan is an absolute star in this place. He goes above and beyond for everyone and won't stop until you're satisfied with your meal and service. I certainly hope Nandos is recognising the guy, or someone else should scoop him up to manage their restaurant or customer service. Food was decent as usual.

Me and 6 friends went here for dinner, and every single one of us commented on how brilliant Dilan's service was. He was funny, charming, polite, informative, and went above and beyond for us. I came to nandos Recently in Elephant and Castle with my sister, food came rapidly. We were served by a lovely Nigerian lady called Ajoke. She was very attentive, polite and had a great smile. Another great Nandos experience

We ordered a platter for 2 and 10 wings for 4 people. Wings were spicy and good, but the chicken breast was a bit dry. Side dishes were tasty, especially the Mac and cheese!

Good service from Dilan. I sincerely hope they make him a manager. He is so attentive to all customers. It felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant. You can't go wrong with nandos food. They have the formula to the tee. The staff are super lovely. Big shout out to Dilan though.

Good experience. Nice to be able to I place my order using the Nando's app. Mobile network connection wasn't great in the restaurant where I sat, but eventually it all worked out fine and the food came quick enough.

Butter fly I ate there and it cost me 9.50, very poor food, I felt cheated and robbed, I wouldn't eat there again.

Went to visit a relative, stopped by for lunch at Nandos, as usual good food, had a good time.

We came in for a takeaway and Chloe was amazing. Super helpful, super friendly. We were perimazed! We didn’t think it could get any cluckin better and then Dillan arrived with all the sauces we needed, and the biggest smile I’ve seen in London. I’m pretty sure this is the best Nando’s I’ve ever been too! Will definitely go out of my way to come To this branch again! They’re absolute professionals, certainly not winging it! Food was good, service not so much We placed our order at the register. Around 35 min later, and after the tables around us which arrived later were already being served, we went up to the register to check what was wrong. They informed us that everything was okay and that they were working on it. Not much later, one of our two dishes arrived. Sadly it was already relatively cold, so my friend couldn't wait for my own dish to arrive. It took another 15 mins, and a waitress coming to check on me which dish I had again (?) for my own food to arrive. The bun was relatively burnt and you could tell that it was prepared in a rush, after we asked about it at the register. We did get an apology for what happened, but that's about it. They didn't ask about wether we enjoyed the food or not when they cleared our table up. This left us pretty disappointed, and even though we were tourists, not trying this again.

Posting this review because we weren't asked how our meal was. The food itself tasted good. But we waited 45 minutes for our food. After asking if all went well, we got one of 2 dishes almost cold. 15 minutes later the other dish arrived, hastily prepared. A real shame as this could be a great meal.

We arrived at 9:56pm and they said they were open for only Collection. On the website and on google, it says 11pm. This needs to be specified as we drove 45 minutes to come to this Nandos and it was not nice to be turned away. Please fix your opening times to avoid misleading your customers. We wanted to dine in and had no choice only to take away the food which is a shame. If you are open for just deliveroo until 11pm, please specify!!
