Un super spot pas loin de Tower Bridge, un excellent fish and chips, avec une excellente qualité de produit, et un prix très sympa pour Londres. Et un accueil vraiment super sympa. Je recommande chaudement.

A quaint pub with a great atmosphere and very warm and personal service. It feels like a family business; all the staff are attentive and genuinely interested in making you feel comfortable. The food (we had fish & chips and pie & mash) was good and excellent value for money. We'd be back!

Visité para una cena temprana con un amigo a mitad de semana a las 5 pm, ya que cierran a las 6 pm durante la semana. Siempre había querido visitar una tienda tradicional de pasteles y purés. El lugar se ve bien y tiene un ambiente muy tradicional. Tiene un pequeño menú enfocado en lo que esperarías. Me siento mal por decir esto, pero la comida era muy pobre. La pastelería era sosa y creo que había una capa cerca de la parte superior que apenas se cocinaba en la mía. El contenido que era difícil de encontrar era un trozo homogéneo de picadura poco inspirador. La salsa de licor era más textura que sabor, muy difícil de detectar del zing fresco del perejil. El puré estaba bien, pero es un asunto seco / firme, grumo - libre, pero no de la escuela de leche / crema / mantequilla de puré de patatas y necesita desesperadamente un poco de condimento. Mi amigo tenía pensamientos similares a mí y dejó la mitad de los suyos. Se alegró de no haber traído a su familia, ya que habría sido embarazoso para él. Me hace preguntarme cómo ha sido la comida durante toda la vida de la tienda. Supongo que la comida actual podría ser similar a la que se sirvió en los años de racionamiento en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. No estoy esperando algún tipo de experiencia gourmet, pero si siguen sirviendo comida como esta, que es mucho peor que la comida más barata del supermercado, entonces no puedo ver que el negocio dure mucho.

The place itself is okay, with decent clientele and enough seating. Staff come across as rude, however, and do not seem like they care at all. Also, the manager might want to think about having a word with the bouncer on the door. I watched him provoke 3 completely unnecessary arguments with tables surrounding us. When we asked what happened, none of them knew why he (the bouncer) had confronted them. For reference, this took place on the 3rd of Jan 2025.

Extremely uncomfortable and cramped atmosphere. I was disrespected by this bald waiter staff member. He looked at me, called me “weird” when I didn’t see him and he took the menu. Other servers also had negative energy and eye contact as they walked past, making the experience extremely uncomfortable. The bald guy server, then came back to my table as I was leaving it and gave me more negative looks and a fixed stare as I was leaving. As if it was offensive that I had already paid at the beginning and left. Throughout my time there, he gave me very strong passive aggressive energy, insults, and strong targeted disrespect with zero accountability from the staff. The staff here is poorly vetted, extremely disrespectful and had no interest in letting me eat in peace. Food was fine, but overall, the staff and atmosphere negate this all majorly.

We ate here at the weekend and everything was fantastic.

Dean was very accommodating and very friendly. The atmosphere is very cozy. We'd love to come back on our next visit to London. We ate here yesterday. It was absolutely delicious again. Dean was very attentive and took good care of us. Drinks and food came quickly and were all very good. We'll be back.

Came here for lunch and it was nice and warm on a cold day. The decor was nice and it had a good atmosphere. I felt that the price for sandwiches was fine and they were tasty too. Really enjoyed it. It wasn't too busy and service was good.

40 min queue for blokes toilet and the worst bar staff ever. It is a sink pub near the station in London. Go only if no better option.

It's one of my favorite places in London — in fact, it was the first traditional pub I visited, so that might be why it's so special to me! There are many delicious cocktails, good beers, and tasty (though not the best) hamburgers and chips. The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is great with a traditional feel.

Fue una buena comida de pescado y patatas fritas con una bebida y cambio de diez libras! (Trato Post 2 pm) Han añadido una fotografía para mayor claridad. Sirve pescado de buen tamaño.

Nice atmosphere, decent prices. They seem to have a lot of events + cool nights going on, which is very cool!
