The best restaurants serving British food in Richmond upon Thames London

The old fashioned sweet jars, the warm welcome and the lovely outdoor seating area mean my two children only want to visit the Sweet Cafe when we are in Hampton. In the summer the favourite is ice cream, in the winter, well, anything else. A lovely, local cafe where service does not disappoint.

First time here, amazing pizza, great service

Great match day pub just off the main drag! This pub is a bit tucked away from the main Twickenham High Street, which makes it a real find—especially on rugby match days. It gets busy, but the vibe is great and it’s a top spot for meeting up with a group. The large parking area is a real bonus, making it easy to gather pre- or post-match without battling the usual High Street crowds. There’s an outdoor bar area that really helps keep the drinks flowing when it’s packed, so service stays pretty quick even when it’s busy. Just a heads-up: the toilets are down a fairly steep set of stairs at the back, so that’s worth bearing in mind if accessibility is a concern. Ideal for a more laid-back pre-match pint!

Tengo buenos recuerdos de muchas comidas agradables cuando vivía en la zona. Habiendo pasado recientemente por Teddington después de unos años fuera, estaba deseando uno de sus deliciosos brunch. No sé si el chef habitual tuvo el día libre, pero fue profundamente decepcionante. Evidentemente, la salchicha había sido crucificada la primera vez que se cocinó, antes de ser recalentada para mí. Su piel ennegrecida era dura y gomosa. El tocino estaba tan cocido y seco que se rompió en pedazos en el plato. Tanto el tocino como la tostada estaban fríos. Sin embargo, los huevos eran geniales. Sospecho que fue porque estaban recién cocinados.

Felices unas pocas horas felices aquí en diciembre después de nuestra comida cerca. La licitación del bar fue capaz de elaborar nuestros Martinis de Fruta de la Pasión favoritos, a pesar de que no estaba en el menú. Y estaban deliciosos y 2-4-1 también! Realmente me gustó el diseño del sótano de abajo. El personal era muy amable y eficiente también. Precios extremadamente buenos para Richmond Upon Thames. He visitado un par de veces más desde entonces también!

El café es el mejor que he probado, la comida es deliciosa y una gran variedad de productos para comprar. Nuestras oficinas se trasladaron al final de la calle de Sips and Bites. Es algo bueno para mi cuenta bancaria. Solo estoy en la oficina una vez a la semana en este momento, ¡ya que podría gastar todo mi dinero aquí!

Lovely pub just across the road from Hampton Court. Friendly staff, good manu. The Steak, bacon, mushroom pie an Prawn Linguine we both delicious. Good selection of wine and beer including Timothy Taylors..Best book ahead especially during weekends and bank hols.

Had a half of Tribute and watched some of the cricket. Three star as it took ages to get served, even when at one moment there was six staff behind the bar and only two of us queuing (still had to wait 5 minutes and didn't even get served second!), plus has quite a generic set of drinks on tap.

Delicious food! Great portions! Value for money. Amazing atmosphere and fast service. Breakfast superb, lunch and dinner. Amazing place to stay for a short visit. Highly recommend!

Great gluten free options! Incredibly friendly bar staff, great atmosphere, indoor and outdoor seating and nice toilets! Margaritas are amazing here too!

Just had a roast here with my partner. Vegetarian roast came with two roast potatoes which looked basically boiled. £22 for that was ridiculous. Service was so bad. Waiters weren’t friendly very slow service we won’t be coming back here again sadly.

Quite disappointed in the steak I was served today. I know I asked for well done however it was burnt on a good proportion. We weren't asked if everything was ok with our meal either. Don't expect this for the price.

Excelente selección de platos - algo para todos. Bonita decoración, cocina auténtica hogareña, todos disfrutamos mucho de nuestro almuerzo. Las porciones son generosas, pero dejan espacio para un pastel después! Este restaurante ofrece una buena relación calidad-precio y comida sabrosa, ¿qué más tengo que decir?
