This is our favourite pub with the best Sunday roasts we've ever tasted! Babs is wonderful and the food is creative and delicious. We come here almost every weekend and it never disappoints.

Wow! What a lovely, accommodating pub. We had a dinner party for 24 guests and it went like clockwork. Babs, the manager and staff were exceptional and had everything organised from start to finish, it could not have been more perfect! The set menu was absolutely lovely too! Thank you Babs and staff for making the evening run so smoothly!

Celebrated Father’s Day in this pub - very nice traditional style pub, pleasant atmosphere & fantastic roast dinner! The service was great with the requirements of our large group being met throughout. Highly recommend for food and drinks.

What a great pub and dining rooms. Babs, James and their team make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and I have say the food is superb. The atmosphere is very friendly and a trip to the Albany is always I pleasure. I went for Sunday lunch with my wife yesterday and really enjoyed a very delicious roast chicken. Already looking forward to my next visit.

We live quite close to The Albany but its location means we don't walk or drive past it within our normal routine, so it hasn't been front of mind. However, having not been there for years, we thought we should check it out. We went for Sunday lunch today and both the beef and the chicken roasts were very good. Meat and vegetables all perfectly cooked. We'll be back.

As visiting rugby supporters we enjoyed a great after match dinner and drinks with friends who are Harlequins supporters. The food and drink were very good and the service was attentive without being overbearing at all.

An excellent pub and also the prices are great. We were at a Christmas party yesterday and were surprised at the level of service and the quality of food served. It is a Gem tucked behind the high street by very accessible.

Totally enjoyed a first class roast beef Sunday lunch at The Albany today. The beef, beautifully cooked, tender and moist, veg with crunch, creamy mash with a couple of roast potatoes and a big light Yorkshire pudding, served with a rich tasty gravy. All hot and served promptly on a warm plate - couldn't fault it. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Best eat out Sunday lunch in a long time.

I had the Albany Beef Burger which was delicious and cooked perfectly, the garlic bread was amazing. The service was really good, not having to wait long for food.

Stopped here for lunch whilst on the way to Twickenham Stadium for an international match. The pub was very busy but had a lovely friendly atmosphere. To our pleasant surprise we were still able to get a table to eat. The service was exceptionally friendly and the food delicious. Vegan options available which were great. A bit on the pricey side but understandable given it’s location. A very positive experience here 👍🏼

Recommended by a friend who lives locally, I met up with friends and family for my birthday. The food was delicious. Each meal was well presented, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a group outing.

Don't bother trying to organise a group event. Rude lady just took over the call said they wouldn't take the booking and slammed phone down after 10 seconds

Our group of 6 friends popped into The Albany for a quick drink before the Depeche Mode concert. Decided to have a meal. They were heaving but the service was outstanding, everyone had a smile even though they were rushed off their feet. The food was delicious and even though it was busy, it arrived quickly. We all had different choices and everyone was very happy. Hats off to all the staff, we have found a new pub to go to before the rugby.👏

We visited on the day of the Depeche Mode concert at twickenham. Red hot day & the pub was absolute heaving. Thankfully we’d booked a table for 5. Despite the heat & the huge number of people in the pub the fella who served us remained cheery with a big smile & did his absolute best. The food was fabulous, served quickly & piping hot. If we ever return to twickenham we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent food, excellent service. Plenty of choice of food and wine for everyone. We were a group of seven and throughly enjoyed the evening. We have been before and we will be back.

We decided to host the Wake for our Dad (Johnny King) at The Albany as it was his local years ago when we lived in Twickenham - the team were fantastic and the food (buffet) provided was absolutely amazing! Fantastic food, good drink selection and lovely staff

The staff were very friendly and lovely to chat to. It was quite busy, inside and out, but the staff served everyone and kept the place fairly clean and tidy. The furnishings were quite sparse, but this is very close to Twickenham, so maybe for the best. The Guinness was excellent as was the Spitfire

I have been to a few pubs in the Twickenham area offering Sunday roasts , some even offer a huge family sharing roast ! However this roast was fantastic infact the best roast I have tasted around the Twickenham area , I had beef well presented succulent, plenty of well cooked vegetables it tasted amazing it was like eating a amazing piece of steak than roast beef ! my daughter had the chicken perfect !! friendly atmosphere too .. I don’t normally do reviews but we’ll worth a try ! This pub is tucked away not on the normal mile .. worth deviating to eat ..

Had the gnocchi was lovely. Big plate too, staff very friendly and helpful. Ate here again a few times, burgers are superior to all other burgers! Yesterday I had sausage and mash and it was absolutely amazing! My friend had the baked cheese and he was in food heaven!

At this time of year check before you book that the heating is on... So your mother or mother inlaw are warm enough. The Sunday roast was fabulous but to cold to stay for dessert. Will look forward to going again when it's warmer weather.

Good meeting point on rugby days. For those they have plenty of staff, an outdoor bar, food outlet and plenty of room out the front.

Came here before the rugby on Sunday. Served our Guinness quickly. It really stood out how friendly the staff were. Even saw a lady behind the bar help a guy with lots of drinks carry them outside. You wouldn’t get this in every pub, and be handed a tray😂 Will be back!

We had sunday roast 3 chicken and 2 beef. Very tender well presented. I'd have given 5 stars except the dessert menu wasn't great only ice creams, chocolate brownie something or other, no apple/rhubarb tart and hot custard, in effect no English type desserts that would go with the roast dinner option. Otherwise very satisfied. Great friendly staff.

We hired The Albany pub for a private party and can honestly say it was a brilliant venue that met all our needs. Babs and the team were brilliant throughout the night and would recommend The Albany to anyone. Food was also great and so reasonably priced!

Too crowded after rugby to make a full comment but the way the pub dealt with it being rammed to the gunnels shows that this establishment knows what it's doing. Well done.

If you're looking for somewhere in Twickenham for good food and a couple of pints after work look no further. The fish is my go-to meal here,but if it's off the menu you can't beat the burgers. Plus the music is never to loud, so you can hear yourselves talk.

Went for a pint after the rugby. Watched a man throw up in the flower pot next to our table, told both the people on the door and they didn't care so we left and went elsewhere.

Great place for a Sunday roast in twickenham. Staff very accommodating, had pate starter, lamb roast and brownie, all were delicious. Plenty of space for us as 4 adults with a baby in a pram. Not too busy when we arrived at 1pm but soon filled up so worth booking.
