Can I just give a massive shout out and thanks to Wilfreds - my famly and I went to Wilfreds Canteen last night to celebrate my birthday - not only is the venue fabulous and beautiful - the staff were just brilliant and the food - my goodness every morsel was the best food we have ever tasted! Right from a starter of bacon and cheese in filo pastry to a main of chicken and ham pie with the best potato dauphinoise and then a peach crumble and a sherry trifle just for my Dad - it was truly incredible with very generous portions - just brilliant and very special ! So if you are looking for a fab venue for a special occasion with your family and friends - it really has to be there ! Congratualtions Chris and all you team xx

No íbamos a ir aquí, pero otro restaurante estaba cerrado. Queríamos algo sencillo y bien conocido y qué mejor lugar que una tienda de fish and chips pero también un restaurante con alrededor de 50 asientos. Gran servicio y comida muy sabrosa. No es súper barato, pero a un precio razonable. El cargo por servicio es opcional y está más que feliz de pagar eso. Precioso pan y mantequilla más salsa de curry para complementar el pescado con papas fritas y guisantes mushy. Buena selección en general, pero no hay salchichas o pasteles. Sin embargo buen menú griego más postres más bebidas alcohólicas. Bueno como alternativa o una comida a un precio razonable en Richmond. Muy cerca del puente Richmond.

Well, we were here today for a Mothers Day lunch. We’d been a couple of years ago and it’s been decorated since then. It looks much better. We looked at some of the meals been served nearby and they all looked decidedly underwhelming and a bit “ greasy spoon cafe”. So, undeterred we thought we’d play it safe. We just ordered mains. One daughter had the mussels and my wife, myself and our other daughter had the roast chicken. The chicken was really nice but the vegetables were overdone, the Yorkshire pudding was a limp sponge and my roast potatoes looked like boiled ones. Having said all that I did polish everything off and it was quite tasty. Jess said her mussel sauce was a bit bland and the portion was small for a main course. As for the positives: the wine was good, my gluten free beers were great, our cocktails (quite a few of them) were very good and so was my coffee. But everything took an age to come out of the kitchen and one of the blokes bringing it out looked like he’d been sleeping in a duvet in the nearest bus shelter. Our waiter, the only English chap, was excellent but he had to keep apologising for the slow service. For Richmond, the prices were not bad and we actually had a very nice time - but then we are a family that gets on and pretty much always have a good time when we are out. In essence, it’s a good place in some ways but a gastro pub it is not.

6 of us dined here for Sunday lunch this past weekend. We all ordered the roast beef along with several sides and were very excited. However, we had to send the food back twice due to it being stone cold. The plates were extremely hot (severs could barely lift the plates) but the food was so cold. The food on the third attempt was still cold, however we all agreed to just eat it as it felt like they were putting it under the grill for a couple of minutes and bringing it back out. Some left the cold veg, some left the potatoes because they’d become chewy. It felt extremely expensive for cold food.

Really disappointed to find this shop has permanently closed - have been visiting for over 30 years

Ella está moviendo el arroz de una bandeja grande a una bandeja pequeña. Estaba esperando a que ella terminara eso, solo tratando de agarrar una caja de fichas para pagar (mientras los niños me esperaban en el coche con la abuela). ¡Espera! Ella dijo. Entonces me quedo allí esperando y mirándola en cámara lenta moviendo todo el arroz de un intento a otro. Entonces adivina qué... no no está terminado... Luego se tomó su tiempo lentamente para reorganizar la bandeja grande en pequeñas 2 mini bandejas... luego se tomó su tiempo para asignar todas las bandejas... En cámara lenta ... . . Le recuerdo amablemente que todavía estoy esperando. ¡Ocupado! Te lo dije!!!! “¡Ya te lo dije! ! ! ! ”” Esta es la peor experiencia con esta tienda hasta ahora, mientras que el resto del personal siempre tiene cortesía y modales. Por lo general, esta tienda es siempre 5 estrellas de servicio al cliente. Especialmente arriba el personal detrás de la comida caliente en la cocina y detrás de las cajas y cajeros y gerente. Todo cálido y agradable y servicial.

Fabuloso filete pastel, patatas fritas y guisantes por £ 12. 50 . Amigo tenía maricas también genial. Solo bebimos allí antes, pero me alegro de que tuvimos una comida antes del partido de Brentford. buen ambiente y buena selección de comidas inglesas en el menú. además de los crianzas que u lucha por conseguir estos días con lagers ostentosas en otros lugares. personal agradable también. Gracias.

Es más rápido que un bocado lugar sentarse restaurante. Elegir para comer y hay asientos arriba o elegir para llevar y siéntese en Richmond Green! La envoltura de pollo picante está elaborada con los envoltura - cocidas en el horno estilo hoguera en frente de usted donde y es entonces puffs llena de pollo, ligeramente picante y luego las maravillas de encurtidos y salsas! Todo lo demás huele increíble y es imprescindible para un aperitivo en Richmond! Evitar los alimentos frente a la carretera y todo el paso hacia el cielo - prueba enrollado de pollo y evitar la dulces cerca de la puerta también!

Went to Marlborough yesterday - really cute pub with delicious food. They accommodated a change in arrival time. Staff super friendly. We had a toddler and a puppy, and they were both given lots of attention by the staff! We all said we'd come back again!

Food tasted good and staff were kind but overall its a rip off, 1 $ mark is not true, chicken risotto is a very small portion, most of the clam shells in the spaghetti were empty.

Lovely atmosphere and good food but service was very slow. Fortunately we weren’t pushed for time. Despite notifying them we were bringing two well behaved dogs they decided the table allocated to us was inappropriate to have dogs at as it was in the middle of the restaurant area. We were moved to a booth in the bar area which was fine but this meant ordering drinks and food from the bar. I suspect they were somewhat over stretched and possibly forgot about us as we were tucked away.
