First visit to this charming little pub in Richmond. Brought our friends from Germany who loved it. The fish and chips in cyder batter were delicious and we enjoyed the Young’s beer. Friendly and efficient service. Will definitely return!

This has got to be one of the best pubs in London, perfect for a walk in Richmond Park and then an amazing lunch. Food is great, service is outstanding.

13 adults and two children for a birthday dinner. We were very accommodated and not a scrap left on a plate.

it really is a beautiful Pub with a beautiful atomsphere. However The Veg burger was horrible. The bun had been left under the heat lamp for too long and had become crispy and hard. the chips were almost stale. The service was terrible too. They took ages to bring the food out and then told us our booking was going to end.

Delicious food! It was a treat to visit The Lass today for a work meeting. From the moment, we arrived we were taken care of exceptionally well. The Team, led by Chris, are clearly passionate about their pub and it shows. For lunch, I had the most divine salad made up of the freshest tomatoes and beetroots - and all the other goodies a salad needs to be totally delicious. My colleague had a sausage and mash and was thrilled, too! Thanks for a wonderful visit. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Most flavoursome chicken roast I’ve ever had 💜 I know they source their meat from a farm and you can most definitely taste the difference. I was in a group of 6 and the roast beef looked amazing too and tasted amazing as well. The place is nestled at the edge of Richmond Park and features beautiful internal design. Despite the hard floors, the noise was not bouncing across the room. Overall, a great experience! And some scrumptious kir royales 💕 Looking forward to book the little table by the fire next!

Very comfortable indoor space and if the weather is nice there is a gorgeous outdoor garden/patio. The food and service are both better than average. I definitely plan to return. #recommended Update: I've been there three times now and love the newly renovated decor, and I don't always get the burger. There are a ton of good choices on the menu and I haven't gotten the same thing twice. Note that, as is common in English pubs, if you go on Sunday, the menus tend to be oriented around the "Sunday Roast" options. This is a very generous amount of food in the category of "stuff that comes with the roast" but the rest of the menu may have less overall variety than you'd find on a weeknight.

The food was ok. Nothing outstanding. Soggy parsnips . Potatoes not roasted enough. Plates ridiculously small for the amount of food you plate up. Not great presentation . Yorkshire puddings overcooked. Stuffing would have been nice. The waitress was rushing around which made it feel stressful. Had roast chicken . Service felt rushed .

great food, fresh, inventive, not your usual pub grub. Served with keen attention to detail. The basics were there, fish and chips etc but were well presented, not fatty, selection of sauces. The whole family had a lovely dining experience. We will definitely return.

A wonderful early Mother’s Day celebration. We had a lovely waitress named Alice and she was very attentive, polite and helpful with the gluten free options on the menu for my brother. We all had a great time, great food and wine and champagne options on your menu. I live the food here in Lass’Orichmond. It was my recommendation that we all were there on 29/03/2025. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality as always in this comfy little place.

Absolutely loved our Sunday lunch at this charming pub in Richmond — what a delightful surprise! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with that perfect balance of cozy and lively that makes you want to stay all afternoon. The Sunday roast was truly fantastic, and I can’t recommend the porchetta enough — tender, flavorful, and served in seriously generous portions. If you go, make sure to save room for dessert: the sticky toffee pudding was out of this world, rich and indulgent in all the right ways. A special shoutout to our server Joshua, who was absolutely charming. He managed to strike that ideal mix of professional and easygoing, making us feel right at home without ever missing a beat. We’re already planning our next visit and have officially added this place to our list of favorite spots. Can’t wait to come back!

Me and my girlfriend had a great sunday roast so it would be shame if I wont leave review for this amazing pub. Especially the pork roast was super nice (most divine of all sunday roasts ever in london) For serving, the woman server wasnt much kind(just normal) but the gentleman who wore suits was super kind. If I have a chance to go Richmond again, im gonna visit there once more.

Amazing Sunday roast at this pet friendly pub. Beer selection is a bit of let down, but the pudding and burger are on point!

Lovely pub, too bad table service seems to be reserved for the members of the geriatric community. Server made multiple rounds near our table, interacting with two other tables (of older guests) while ignoring us. The lady behind the bar wasn't much better, supporting her head with her hand while talking the order, clearly couldn't be bothered. Edit: I actually think I got food poisoning from the sausages. This is the only thing that only I ate, and my husband and daughter are fine. Please review so it doesn't happen to anyone else.

We had made a reservation and received a friendly greeting and were shown to an excellent table for our son's birthday celebration. The menu contained many great options and we enjoyed excellent food and drink, with great service throughout the meal. We were able to take the family dog, who relaxed in the surroundings.

Excellent Sunday dinner. We came here because the receptionist at our hotel gave it top reviews. Husband and I had two different roasts: vegan and traditional and they were both excellent. Service was also wonderful.

Highly recommend this pub which is just around the corner from the Richmond Hill hotel where we were staying. After a busy day at the rugby we rocked up for a Sunday lunch/dinner. I’d recommend booking for Sunday lunch as it’s extremely popular and I can see why. Quality meat and vegetables, with so much flavour and very reasonably priced for the quality on offer. The staff were lovely despite being rushed off their feet. A new appreciation for the hard workers in this industry who deliver excellent customer service and great quality food despite the long hours they work. We will be back…

Wir hatten diverse Vor- und Hauptgerichte und alle waren sehr liebevoll angerichtet, die Portionen waren reichlich und nach Meinung aller Familienmitglieder sehr lecker. Lovely Place near Richmond Park. We had a lovely sunday and the best Sunday Roast. Prices are in line with the City. Alice was wonderful with us.

Lovely pub, great service but really disappointed that hardly anything was left on the menu at 7pm on a Saturday. No fish and chips, no pie option and even no steak option - plus my partner couldn’t order the other fish meal as that was also unavailable- we both had to settle for a burger. Not great and a real shame as we were really looking forward to trying other dishes as opposed to a burger! A shame.

This is really another follow-up to my previous visits and reviews. Consistently good food and service. The shin of beef pie was superb. An easy 5 - Star recommendation again.

Very disappointing puddings but the atmosphere is nice.

A really special Valentine's lunch at the Lass, service really wonderful and personable. Fish and chips great, very good NZ Sauvignan Blanc suggestion by the waiter. Pear pudding not as good as the Sticky Toffee, there wasn't really enough to it. The setting, service and atmosphere with the fires are the prime points of attraction for me as well as certain amazing dishes, overall definitely a place that will draw us back time and time again!

Always have a yummy meal and great service at the Lass O'Richmond Hill. This time we both had a beef roast dinner which was delicious, and came with the best yorkshire pudding! Some more green veg would have been welcome. Poached pear dessert was also great. Service was super efficient; in fact we had been seated and finished our main course before our booking was even due to start (got there 40 minutes early)! Lovely relaxed atmosphere with the fireplace, and dogs and youngsters welcome, but not noisy. Great place to come after a walk round Richmond Park.

Alice served us and she was wonderful throughout! They managed to squeeze us in without a booking. The food was absolutely wonderful, we enjoyed the Sunday roast immensely. 10/10 would recommend and we’ll be coming again for sure😍

Fantastic fish & chips! Chips really good, not soggy re-heated but hot, freshly cooked, crispy and soft inside as you might expect from one of the best. The fish was amazing, not smothered in batter, challenging you to find the fish inside. Batter was amazingly thin & crispy with perfect fish inside. I have no connection with this place. Just stopped for a fish & chips and blown away with the result. On top of that I was able to warm up in front of a real fire.
