Nice authentic british pub, good amount of screens to watch the sport and they also have a screen in the outdoor area so it would be great for summer. Excellent pints also and friendly attentive staff :-)

Went from London down to Richmond to chase the Ted Lasso aspect. Easy walk from the tube station down through the town to the pub. We walked in and got a table - even without a reservation - the guy seating us said we got lucky (due to a cancelation) - and then seated us at a nice table. The menu was easy and had all sorts of food available. We started with the onion rings and a pint - and both were wonderful. Cheese burgers with fries were served in a timely manner and were delicious. Waitress came by and offered us a chance to take picture at the bar with the AFC Richmond scarf. She also had great recommendations on where else to visit for Lasso sites. Worth going to from ‘tourist’ London. Would also enjoy if a local.

Quite a busy Fullers pub just off Richmond Green. It was quite busy but the bar staff seemed to be quite OK and happy to chat while they were efficiently serving everyone at the bar. Although it was quite crowded, there was enough space to move about. There were tables out the front as well as down the side of the pub for those keen to get at that vitamin D. The Guinness was excellent as was the Darkstar Red Dwarf.

While in London a couple weeks ago, we had to visit here. It was a rainy, cold day and place was standing room only. Luckily we were able to sit at table in the bar without reservation within few minutes. We ordered our drinks and appetizer at bar & they delivered quickly to table. Chose the calamari (SO tender not chewy and tough at all!) and the Scottish eggs (my favorite!). Drinks were perfect. Grand finale was the fish & chips…best we had anywhere in England. Service was great, guests were friendly too. Recommend even in yucky weather:)

One of my favourite pubs in Richmond but the service fluctuates when it gets busy - there are a couple of servers who should be at the Cricketers next door, but the manager doesn't keep up to speed on what's going on. Perhaps Ted Lasso has made them a little less interested in the local trade? UPDATE: I've been in a few times in the past months and service and food had been ok but not great. Last night the food was terrible - we went at the request of American friends over for a short visit and the food was poor. The mushy peas with the fish and chips was inedible and the burger was embarrassing - limp bum, and virtually no filling.

I’ll admit that I HAD to go here (visiting from the US) because of the Ted Lasso series. I couldn’t have been happier that we went (unless, of course, we’d been magically transported into the show!). The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and very cozy just as you’d imagine an over 300-year-old English pub would be. The staff were all helpful and friendly. One of the chefs even came over and chatted for a bit. The food was really lovely. I ordered fish and chips with a pint of Guinness. My husband got the cheeseburger. Both orders came out quickly and hot. Most tables were full (even outside — We went in mid-March,’24.) It really couldn’t have been nicer for us, and we’re so glad we went. It’s a super lovely little village with cobblestone streets beside the Richmond Green Park. Go and enjoy.

I have booked a table for 3 online, via the website. I arrived about 10 minutes earlier (table was for 16:45 until 18:45) and unfortunately my two friends were around 15 mins late due to not being able to find a parking space (no ones fault, just for context) We had ordered 6 starters to share first, as we couldn't decide what to have as our mains. The starters were amazing, truly delicious. One of my friends wasn't really hungry anymore after that. At 6pm a waitress came and asked us if we are ordering mains, because she needs our table. When I pointed out, we still have 45 minutes left, she said in a very blant tone, that we have to hurry up & order food as they had to squeeze us in for this reservation??!! I'm sorry?! You didn't have to squeeze us in, because we booked online. How can you say that to a customer? She was overall pretty rude and instead of paying attention to customers- she preferred standing in the corner by the till, chatting to her colleague. She has just above shoulder dark brown hair and was wearing a pub's branded tshirt. Now, I understand we had only 45 mins left on our table and we needed to order now, but there was a nicer way to encourage your customers to do it. At the beginning one of my friends ordered a Negroni, but she received a pint of Neck Oil. That was changed, no issue, but the girl who brought it and was informed of the mistake didn't seem happy about it. As we were rushed to order mains, my other friend ordered "buffalo chicken wings" (order was taken by the same girl who told us we had to be squeezed in for the reservation. Side note- the table next to us was empty for a very long time). But he recieved a buffalo chicken! When we raised that with the staff, we were told that "buffalo chicken wings order was no put through the till" and that's it. So our orders were taken incorrectly twice! I ordered a chicken pie, which was really really good. Seriously, shout out to the chef and the kitchen staff for delicious food! My friend ate the chicken, which was good, but not what we wanted. When it came to paying the bill, suddenly we were invisible (there were 2 or 3 people chatting by the till) and one of us had to go up and ask if we can finally pay (it was about 10 minutes over our reservation time, but we waited about 10-15 mins to pay). We didn't really check the bill to see if we were charged correctly, but that's our mistake. In overall, I was very excited to visit this pub as I love Richmind, and of course, I'm a Ted Lasso fan. The food was fantastic, the pub is beautiful and has a really warm and cosy feel to it. The place was buzzing, which was great! Unfortunately what let our experience down is the terrible service with misesrable, rude staff (the girl who was settig up candles on the tables was really nice, though). I don't think we will be returning to this place, at least not for food. Drinks? It's a big maybe.

I didn't think that a visit to The Prince's Head in Richmond would be a highlight for me, but that's what being a fan of the show Ted Lasso does to you. The pub itself is quite nondescript, but seeing its surroundings really takes you back to key scenes from Season 1. When we talked to our host, Thomas, he shared that there are some regulars who have not ever seen the show, while there are some big time fans who keep foot traffic quite regular. Me and my friend do not live in London, so when the chance arrived to visit Richmond as part of a weekend get away arose. We knew we had to visit The Princes Head. If you haven’t guessed, yes we are Ted Lasso fans. Our trip to this pub was amazing. At first we were amazed by a group of blokes dressed as ted lasso that honestly had us questioning our mental states as we both thought we were hallucinating. (Not related to the pub but honestly it was incredible and we no longer felt like the weirdest people in the area -no offence if one of the lassos is reading this, it was amazing!). Upon entry to the pub the staff were INCREDIBLY friendly and we were seated at our table very quickly. I feel the need to stress the importance of bookings as the place was packed. We ordered our food and drinks very easily as (again) the servers were wonderful. Drinks came out almost instantly and there was a very short wait for our food. The food was amazing. My friend ordered the fish and chips while I got the shepherds pie. We’re both students. We don’t eat well. But oh my god, I felt the months of poor dietary choices leaving my body. The food was amazing. I cannot stress how good the Shepard’s pie was. This place made me appreciate cabbage! We actually forgot we were there to nerd out about Ted Lasso and instead fangirled over our food. 10/10 will go there again one day. To the ted lasso fans; just go. The town is wonderful and the pub is amazing. To the none ted lasso fans; it’s a wonderful pub/restaurant with very a shrine to a football club that doesn’t exist.

Nice atmosphere, good bar service, and had a lovely pint of beer. The food was disappointing, though. My fish and chips had been cooked in dirty oil, and the fish/batter was underseasoned (as were the minted-peas). Two other people with me both had beef burgers and said they were average, lacking in finess (some salad / garnish would have been nice) and also underseasoned. Given the average quality of the food, the prices were a good 20% too high. A fourth member of our group didn't eat due to the lack of choice catering for his vegan diet. I'd return for a pint, but I would eat elsewhere next time.

My wife and myself - together with my brother and his son and girlfriend - had lunch today at the Prince’s Head Pub on the Green in Richmond. The reason we were there was my brother’s son and girlfriend were visiting from Denver and - like many other US visitors - wanted to visit the scene of the US TV series Ted Lasso. Surprisingly, not something we weren’t all aware of but - equally something - that has certainly enhanced this Pub’s fortunes. As such, there were plenty of US visitors there today and we were most fortunate to find a table. It, therefore, took some time to place our lunch order and service was also slow. Fortunately the food (I had the Chicken Pie) was good and my Brother’s son and girlfriend certainly enjoyed their visit to the Prince’s Head - so much so that I must watch Ted Lasso to learn more about why this has become such a draw for US visitors!

As many other tourist, i went here because of Ted Lasso. Too few people working. Maybe another time. Beautiful place, but i got to be honest, i’m sad.

Staff were so incredibly kind, attentive, and truly embodied “the Lasso way.” Food was also great quality for the price and pints are cold and refreshing. Thank you to our server Skye for being so welcoming and giving us tips for our next trip across the pond. 10/10 would recommend for lasso fans and all alike. 🥳👏🏼❤️

Great pub on the green with a fantastic view. It's what pubs should be like. Gets busy but great atmosphere

Great environment with a really nice staff. If you are a fan of Ted Lasso you should definitely make a stop at The Prince's Head. The food was also really good, strongly recommend!

Cool to have been there for Ted Lasso. Lots of people on a weekday testify that the place has a charm and everyday accessibility.

Staff took 15% of our bill after learning we'd been on a charity walk, which was really kind of them.

Met family from Oz here and as they are Ozzies a Fullers Pie seemed like a good option. The food was good but the ambience? Several locals in each with a dog or two. One smelt like a drowned rat and two others with the same owner wanted to fight with all the other dogs. Never again

Was great to visit the ‘Ted Lasso Pub’. The menu was quite pricey. Atmosphere was lovely.

A really worth seeing, typically English inn, located in the picturesque Richmond district. A must for “Ted Lasso” fans, many scenes were filmed here and in the immediate area. Parking can be found along the street around the neighboring park; You can go for a walk there after eating. A table reservation is recommended. The menu isn't very large, but it's varied, with several vegetarian options, and the prices are moderate (most main courses are well under £20). We went here twice, for lunch and dinner respectively, and loved it both times.

For any "Ted Lasso" fan, it's a must visit! Our server Lucy was the best and absolutely indulged in our touristy Fandom lol I booked a few months in advance and requested the TL Booth and they accommodated us which was great! The food was standard pub fair and arrived pipping hot and quick, the pints delish and cold (tried some of the locals on draft). Would definitely recommend and thank you again, Lucy!

The best experience in Richmond! We are huge Ted Lasso fans, so to be in the same place where Ted takes on Rupert in darts was so neat! We ordered the Fish and Chips and the Gnocchi. Mmmm, so tasty. The best gnocchi I’ve had.

Okay. Yes, we are American Ted Lasso fans. We arrived right at noon when they opened with many more. Got a table in the bar. Literally the best fish and chips. Nice setting.

Having booked Richmond for our base for our Ivy lunch weekend we just had to go and see the famous Ted Lasso sights. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Thomas was our waiter and he couldn't have been nicer. He showed us the various filming points in the pub and took pictures with the scarf. The food was good and hot and we both had a fantastic time in your pub. Will deffo be back!!!

Such a great town and an awesome pub, super friendly and helpful staff! If your a Ted Lasso fan…it is so cool and a must stop! Get there early and you can get a table. Late in the morning most tables are reserved and hard to find. Also, head to the back of the bar for the table they sit at during the show!
