Super cozy place to stay in Richmond, it’s an hour away from the airport, 20 minutes to Richmond station and about an hour to central London The rooms are cozy and you get water, tea and coffee It’s super clean The people working there are super nice and helpful The food is delicious, you get nice breakfast included or can order more If you stay in a room you get 20% off your orders in the restaurant If I come back to London I will stay here again Thanks for the amazing time 🫶

Will not be going there angain! I ordered the roast lamb and asked for thin cut fries which I got. The lamb consisted of 3 small chunks of fat and the fries, though cooked, were all white in colour. I had the one carrot, the few green beans that I came with it and the Yorkshire pudding. Really NOT worth the £21 I had to pay!!!

We loved our stay at The Victoria! The best part of our stay was the staff — everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The included continental breakfast was perfect, and we loved that we could get espresso drinks as well. It is in a very quiet residential neighborhood, perfect for a quiet getaway. There was a fan in the room, which was helpful as it got quite warm in London during our stay! We will definitely be back!

Great staff giving friendly service Starters were well thought out and imaginative Main courses were inedible Both ribeye and lamb steak were so tough we could not eat them Judging by the starters they have a talented chef so presumably they are buying cheap cuts of meat? They did offer to cook something else for us but we had lost enthusiasm. Great shame because it is a good location with great staff

After checking the Michelin guide for a good Sunday Roast, me and my friends settled on The Victoria. It’s a charming local Gastropub hidden away from the high street in leafy East Sheen. It was like stepping into a gorgeous village! The Pork Belly stole the show by a long shot, that’s not to say the Beef wasn’t superb. Because it was! But the pork was perfectly done from fat to crackling that overshadowed everything else on the table. The grilled focaccia was light, sweet and smokey. The Pork and Rarebit on Sourdough was sublime, deep flavours and a great way to start proceedings. The staff were great and had a great knowledge of the wines.

A very pleasant stay. Quiet and very nice location to walk. You could only hear the birds in the mornings (we were a little afraid that it would be noisy given the proximity to the pub, but not at all). To highlight the continental breakfast included in the price of the room, very complete, with cold cuts, toast, butter, fruit, croissant and yogurt. The girl who served us (of Italian nationality) both at the reception and in the breakfast room was charming and made sure that the coffee was to my liking (something that always bothers me when I travel). There is a terrace right next to the rooms with tables and chairs where you can eat, have a coffee and smoking is allowed (for those who are interested). A very satisfactory experience.

I've stayed at the Victoria many times over the years and it's been, almost always, a good experience. ( Once not so good, but this was really well sorted so I've been back). The rooms are all you need, no frills with comfortable beds. I personally don't like frosted glass windows, though I understand the need on the ground floor. Showers work well and it was good to have bottled water. The continental breakfast is really nice, generous and varied. Well situated for local shops and the beautiful Richmond park, plus some cracking restaurants a few minutes walk away. Fifteen minutes to Waterloo from Mortlake station, ten minutes walk away. I'd recommend the Victoria.

Very cosy space and I was pleasantly surprised. Turning up on a very cold day I was concerned it would be cold in the room but this wasn’t the case at all, not only was it warm on arrival, the heating was left on overnight which was appreciated in very cold weather. The rooms are in a separate space behind the pub and really good condition with nice simple but welcoming decor. The room had a lovely homely set up in the room with lots of space, large TV, desk/sideboard area which was useful as travelling for work, great tea/coffee/biscuit set up in the room and warm bathroom with shower. Only bad thing was I had to leave so early I didn’t get to try the breakfast. Great home away from home feel in a quiet area with easy, free road parking outside.

BEWARE: No off-street Parking and NO BREAKFAST on Mon and Tue. I really wish I could have given The Victoria five stars. On paper it's good value for money. HOWEVER, we were only staying one night and I needed three things: 1. Free parking 2. Breakfast in the morning 3. Low price. When we arrived, we were told that the carpark has been shut "for quite a while." (It's still listed on all the advertisements,) Thankfully, we found adequate street parking. Then we were told that they WOULDN'T be providing the free breakfast because the pub is closed Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our receipt specifically said "Breakfast included." We found ways around both of these problems, but there was NO concern from the manager about the incorrect advertising. In fact, we got little more than a grunt from her. The room itself is very tidy, and had really good linens and toiletries. They provided lovely bottles of water. Sadly, we had to walk through the pub which smelled of other people's old fish dinners. A kind word from the staff would have made all the difference here. We might have eaten in the pub. If they'd been surprised and apologetic that we were misled I would have easily been mollified. But we were a nuisance. I'd even sent an email before our trip to ask about parking and breakfast and there has been no answer. I love small business and wish I could support this one. Better training and management (and accurate advertising) would make this place a real gem.

Highly recommended. Quality food and service at reasonable prices. First time at the Victoria, lunching with two close friends, and I'm sure we'll be returning. Excellent varied menu with plenty of interesting choices as well as pub classics. All courses were delicious and well presented. The halibut was outstanding. Well done chef Tinta whom we complimented in person. Plenty of wines to choose from - we had a Sicilian white and a red from the same part of Italy and both were very good at a decent price. Quality service by all front of house staff who were there when we needed them, checked on us periodically but otherwise left us to natter. We dined in the conservatory area - it was a bit too chilly to eat outside but the conservatory was perfect. Not the easiest place to get to - we came by taxi from Richmond (about £10). Give it a try if you're anywhere close. We'll be going back.

Visited on Boxing Day with family. Firstly we were ignored on entering the restaurant and had to ask the busy bar staff to show us to our table - lots of new seasonal staff and more training required I am guessing. The menu was disappointing and felt really lazy on the chefs behalf and like he’d run out of steam after a busy Christmas Day. The menu was virtually the same as any usual day - fish and chips, a couple of pasta choices (which sounded delicious in fairness), roast pork, steak and a halibut dish (was really tasty). There seemed little attempt to offer ‘special’ Xmas fayre or perhaps lighter dishes , or even more choices of roast….my family members would eat your roast beef any day of the week and it seemed odd to be offering roast pork. Few fancied roast pork or fish and chips on Boxing Day. Service was haphazard but forgiven during such a busy service. Prices are always high though and for Boxing Day in summary the whole experience felt very average when we’d hoped for festive and special (or at least we’ll executed with a Boxing Day twist).

The rooms go out the back to the kitchen and there on the roof is an exhaust system that looks like the turbine of a jet plane and makes just as much noise - by day and by night! The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood quite far from the center of London so you will need a bus if you want to get to some of the main attractions. the room itself is elegant, the bed is wide and low and I found the mattress quite comfortable. in the bathroom, there is not much space for stuff since there is only 1 narrow shelf. The biggest problem I had was the shower that only had extremely hot water that didn't cool down no matter which way you change the handle. it was like getting cooked while taking a shower. The hotel offers a continental breakfast that also has some options for vegans as it comes with vegan cheese, butter, a small fruit bowl, toasts, and cereals with oat milk. the service was nice but not always attended as the place doesn't work on Monday and Tuesday.

The Victoria prides itself in being a "gastro pub" and though the menu is limited and the food average, it is saved by a nice atmosphere, especially in the garden. Don't go there in the evenings, however, if you want a quiet meal because the...

Normally this restaurant is not busy because their food is not good. And it is right behind a primary school with quite a lot of noises. However, today it is extremely busy because the school next to it is holding a sport event. All parents visit this Victoria restaurant for a cup of coffee. I was queueing more than half hour. When it was my turn, the staff started to make coffee for people who live in their accommodations,, then make coffee for gusts who already sit inside of the restaurants. I was thinking maybe the guests inside the restaurant have priorities. But after all these, they ignored me and ask people behind me 'what do you want'? Completely ignoring me. I ask them whats going on, why ignoring me... They replied ' if you are not happy, go somewhere else'. and another staff repeated ' go somewhere else'. what the hell? I did not do anything neither said anything before my turn. I spent more than half hour queueing for a cup of coffee, and why they treated me like this? Will never visit this place!!!! By the way, the food here is terrible, a coffee was the only thing i could tolerate, now not even their coffee.

A fine pub with a sunny garden. A very short detour from the south circular, but tucked away in a smart residential area where few would stumble upon it by chance.. Friendly and efficient staff.

The food was good but the staff made it - they were fantastic. There were 8 adults & two small children in our birthday group.

Nice pub, with very friendly and helpful staff, both in the bar and the restaurant. Food is high quality. The room/accommodation, however, is really 2 star, but the price is 4 star. Biggest issue I had was not being able to get an espresso coffee,...

Thought it a good idea to pop to this place prior to a meal at Black Salt, nearby. It is a pub after all…the queuing system funnels customers around the side of a conservatory in expectation that everyone wants food, despite there being a bar area for drinks. I asked one of the bar staff, politely through the front window, if it were possible to bypass the queue to just have a drink. The lady rudely made a gesture to me which could only be described as: ‘are you f@&£!?g joking’. Delightful. Never again; the arrogance is astonishing.

This really could be the best pub in the area. Sadly Natalie’s customer service and her junior team let it down. Popped in for a meeting with someone who doesn’t know the area or pub well and had the rudest service. I don’t think my friend will be back and I won’t be for sure. 1 star is even too much for the dreadful customer service.!

Standard pub. I’ve visited it on Easter Sunday. Hard to say something about atmosphere. Tasty fries. They are charging for the service.

We recently had a wake there with about 30 guests. Natalie helped us organise the event with the food options and was very flexible on the venue location allowing us to decide to eat inside or out until the last day before. The food was brought out and passed around by their staff. The canapes were good and a decent size, as were the sandwiches. All in all, it all went very smoothly and the food and service were very good. Thank you.

Worst Roast dinner I've ever had in SW London. Lived around here for 15 years and so many places locally do a great roast. Tried this place for the first time. Place was unkept, untidy and rough around the edges. Staff were unhelpful and made me feel like I was an inconvenience for even being there. Then the children's meal came out, just a massive plate of chips with overcooked tiny fish and no veg. The roast beef was AWFUL. I love garlic but it was so overpowering that was all I could taste, potatoes tasted like horrible old oil and the rest of it was just below average. Would not recommend when so many other great places around the vicinity.

Shocking customer service. They took a booking at 1pm for lunch, they rang 7 days later to say that they could no longer honour that. 1. They should have told us at the time, when we booked at that point we might have been able to find something else. Now it's too late to find something else as the booking is for Mothers Day. 2 They blamed me, saying they had rung me yesterday to change the time and I hadn't rung back. When they hadn't called me at all! 3. It turned out they had called my office manager who wasn't working at the time so didn't get the call for 24 hours, if it was urgent why not ring me, they had my number? 4. By the time the office manager called back they had taken other bookings, so aren't free. Why take new bookings when they had our booking?! 5. They finally offered a time of 4pm which it too late partly because a friend has a partner with motor neurone and she has arranged a carer. for lunchtime. They didn't listen and didn't apologise. This was to be my birthday lunch. I didn't have one in 2020 because we had gone into lockdown, I didn't have one is 2021 as we were still in lockdown not allowed even in the garden. The Victoria has now made it impossible for me to have something in 2022. What ever you do don't organise an important celebration here!
