Excellent ! Great food and the staff friendly and polite , Ciro deserves a special nod as he was simply incredible

We had a delicious roast here on Sunday, huge portion size and well priced. It was very busy but never felt chaotic due to the supportive and well attentive staff. We also brought our dog and were comfortably setup in the dining room. Will definitely go back

Sat outside in covered part of garden, nice pleasant staff, great atmosphere. Dog and child friendly. Had a snack of rosemary and parmesan topped fries 🍟 which I would highly recommend. All in all great . worth popping in .

Lovely lively pub with amazing atmosphere. We really enjoyed the services which was top quality. Our server (Ciro) was attentive and had a good sense of humour. We will be back soon.

Best pub to be when the sun is out , the location is perfect, good drinks range altough the wait for food can be long , the service was brilliant; our server Ciro was incredible and made sure we had a fantastic time, highly recommend.

I had an amazing sunny Sunday today. Over all, this pub has a nice ambience; the food was on point -amazing huge portions for the roast-, and the service was the most stunning part; Ciro in front of house is such a nice host, friendly and professional. I visited with a vegan friend and he struggled a little. It Would be nice to have more vegan/plant based food. Definitely we will come back soon!

Had Sunday Lunch here for the first time and was very impressed by the food and service. Ciro was a warm and friendly host, guiding us through the menu and was attentive to dietary preferences. The beef and chicken roasts were fantastic, amazing portion sizes and great flavour, one of the best roasts I’ve had. Will definitely be back, adding this to my list of pubs to recommend friends and family!

Great meal last night with Morrigan and the team, plus the pub is very dog friendly. We had the trout special, fish and chips, chicken Milanese, and beef pie. Followed by sticky toffee pudding. Thank you.

Such a wonderful Sunday roast! We just walked in after a long walk without making a reservation, yet we were welcomed so warmly and were offered a table immediately even though it was still quite busy. The sharing Sunday roast was divine, and a major bonus was the Timothy Taylor’s! Ciro was incredibly attentive and extremely friendly. This really added to the atmosphere of the pub

Our first visit since the Sun Inn was ‘refreshed’ last year. It has retained its great ambiance but is now subtly smarter. Service was excellent (attentive and friendly) with a good choice of food which was very good indeed. Overall, faultless so we will be back soon…

I spilt my beer all over the table and the man serving us gave me another on the house and cleared up the mess! Brilliant service. Great cosy spot. We got chips and the sausages from the bar menu both delicious. Could have done with a few extra sausages for the price though… but the great service and free beer made up for it!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Sun Inn and had a fantastic time. I've been celebrating my birthday there every summer, so we knew it'd be a great experience and the Sun Inn did not disappoint. Our server, Morrigan, was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and quickly served, from appetizers to dessert. After dinner, we played a board game (that we brought) and before we could even ask, someone came over to wipe the table for us. They are one of the few places that seems to read the reservation notes because they had accommodated a disability-related request when we arrived. We love the Sun Inn because it is a cosy country pub in urban London. We keep coming back because of the service, food and atmosphere. If I had to cite one slight negative, it's that the music is too loud, unfortunately too common in London pubs. The music echoes easily inside, and add customers talking and it's hard to have a conversation at a normal level. But this is a small observation and won't keep us from returning to the Sun Inn again and again!

The atmosphere was very nice and we had an enjoyable time, but I would not recommend The Sun Inn to someone for food. The battered fish and chips tasted stale, as if the oil they were cooked in was old or was used for something else. The mushrooms on sourdough toast also wasn't quite up to our expectations, the bread tasted stale and the spread on it was quite dry. The sausages were nice. All in all, the food was disappointing.

Just came in for a drink but the food looked and smelled amazing! Good and interesting drinks list with some unusual wines available by the glass. A lovely spot to spend an afternoon. Great staff, too!

Made my first visit recently and looking forward to going back. The Sunday lunch vibe was perfect - cosy venue, great food and my dog was welcome. Staff were friendly, a good selection of beers and the roast was a proper roast (I think that's a technical term?).
