The best restaurants serving British food in Kensington and Chelsea London

Food was lovely. Staff were friendly and attentive. Great place for lunch, would eat there again!

Pub splendidamente tipico ma elegante. Sono stata con due amiche domenica a pranzo e siamo uscite estremamente soddisfatte. Ottimo il Board di carni da condividere, contorni eccezionali e Bloody Mary fatto a regola d’arte. Il servizio è impeccabile. È un peccato dover aspettare il prossimo viaggio a Londra per poterci tornare. Consigliatissimo.

Mientras estábamos alojados en el hotel Knightsbridge Tower, vinimos a cenar a nuestra primera noche. ¡El lugar estaba vacío! La comida era muy agradable! La tarjeta de vid también es buena. Disfrutamos de la cena, aunque el servicio debería ser mejor para los estándares de Luxury Collection.

For the short time that I was there. The atmosphere was the best. I loved the way the restaurant was decorated. The one act I saw was amazing though. The area was smaller than I thought it would be, but that was fine.

Really enjoyed the Monday pub quiz, lovely atmosphere. Food was yummy (although I wish the portion sizes were a little bigger given the price).

6* Absolutely amazing restaurant located in Kensington. Came here a couple of times previously and unfortunately they were fully booked, tried our luck again and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in.(BE WARNED- if you haven't booked you'll be lucky to get in, definitely so at peak times). The menu looked great, rustic English fare.We went for stilton mousse and cheese and leek tart for starters followed by rump of lamb and fish pie. The food was faultless. Every dish tasted gorgeous. The wine (just went for Malbec and Chablis by the glass) was very nice too. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and romantic with a very rural theme. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. Overall we had a great time and I'm so glad we were able to get a table. We'd both like to go again, soon. My thanks to the gentlemen on the door, they were very busy so I didn't get chance to get his name (owner,manager,maitre d, greeter?) But he was amazing and a real credit to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

When passing through Notting Hill, this pub is perfect for having a drink and eating good food in a calm or festive atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Little extra: Freddie Mercury and Queen wrote We Are The Champions in this place.. ;)

I loved the food. Miss Valentina suggested the roast beef. I ate it for the first time and I loved it. Her service is excellent. I wish the rest of the pubs had more service agents like her. Thank you very much, Valentina N1

¡¿Qué podemos decir -marcó todas las casillas!! - y Danni era la anfitriona consumada - un verdadero hallazgo que ella es y también lo es el pub - somos del extranjero y queríamos obtener la experiencia del pub británico - sin el ángulo turístico - y lo conseguimos! ! Perfecto!

I had dinner with friends, the place is nice, at the entrance there is a strong unpleasant smell, it was very hot; the girls were not very welcoming and not very attentive to the service. Unclear and confusing menu.

I don’t know what’s happened to this pub but today the roast was appalling. The meat looked like it had been microwaved. This was the beef. The potatoes looked old like they had been sat in the pan for hours. Not crispy. It was really bad. 2 drinks 2 roast dinners £55.60. Not worth even half this price. Toilets in a bad way. This was only 4pm. You need to improve what you are doing in this pub. It’s an old pub that a lot of people enjoy and you are not taking care of it.

Excellent offer. Old school good service and good done well. Lovely experience. Would definitely return.
