The Mall Tavern in Kensington and Chelsea

We just went for a few drinks and rest our feet. Staff was very friendly and helpful and service was great. We only had some Fries but the best fries we have had in a long time.

Cane on slow night, but food and service was great. Fish and chips were battered perfectly and the Shepard's pie was well seasoned. I can't wait to come back.

We had a 15-person memorial event here and the staff catered very well (checking in for drinks, remembering food orders and coping with a noisy room). Enjoyable place, with a good atmosphere. We will be back!

We happened to stumble upon this place while exploring the area. The waiter was super friendly and welcoming, the fish and chips – very tasty! The little lunch of the day was soup and fish and chips, and it turned out quite a large portion still for 10 pounds – quite the deal. And beer from Cornwall was delish. The vibes were also really nice. Really enjoyed this place!

We were in Kensington for a week and made it to Mall Tavern 3 times: trivia, drinks, and Sunday roast. Each time the food was great, the staff was phenomenal, and the vibes were fantastic!

I've been to a couple of beer festivals here and it's always been great, finally visited on a normal Saturday for some food and was not disappointed, fantastic food and great service.

Vi kom hit första gången för att vi väntade på att få vårt hotellrum. Träffade en mycket kunnig bartender som kunde massor om öl. Helt perfekt för mitt resesällskap som gillar att prova olika ölsorter. Det var en riktigt trevlig stund, vi var mitt på dagen så det fanns inte många andra besökare. En helt annan upplevelse blev det några dagar senare då vi skulle äta Fish and Chips. Stället var fullt av folk och ljudnivån ganska hög. Servitörerna hade fullt upp. Maten var inget extra, men god.

Decent local pub with interesting selection of Cask Ale and discreet sport screen. Community vibes and all ages customers. The pub area is a bit too narrow and the tables probably too close. Not ideal for a date. Better for a frined2friend drink and sport watch. Incredibly warm. We had to leave.

After a chance visit the week before we came back for the Liquid Dreams beer festival. The beer selection at the festival was truly impressive. Andy and Nat had focused on sourcing more unusual international beers and the variety on offer was crazy. That said on a normal visit the beer range is just as impressive. Constantly rotating, celebrating so many amazing British breweries. As an IPA drinker I was so pleased to see such a variety on offer. The food options are great. Quality and potion size is spot on. The only thing to flag is this is Notting Hill and the prices are punchy. I'm willing to pay it for the decent service, ambience and quality of beer on offer, but go prepared!

Great atmosphere, very nice personnel, but don’t come on Saturday. They run out of different plates already at 7 PM.

Came here for the Fish & Chips. I admit, they were delicious, but the fish itself was far too small (more like the size of a larger fish nugget ---> see picture, which is definitely not OK regarding the price: 23£) It's a shame, because everything else was perfect, from atmosphere to friendliness of staff

I passed by afternoon on Sunday and I was desperate to use the Toilet. I went inside. I quietly and lip taking said I need to use the Toilet please, she then answered in a very unpleasant manner and loudly No it's only for customers.. then I said could you make an exception today and let me in as I have a diabetes condition, was faced with the same straight answer No you can't she replied again. Surely the lady who did not welcome me has lost a potential customer, she looked to me Very Unpleasant female and she should know what a human being can experience and feel when they are desperate for a toilet, she wouldn't know because she might not be pure human. truly has not educated herself about diabetes conditions which makes you want to urinate in a very fast and uncontrollable manner. Thankfully the barber shop in the corner allowed me to use his toilet.

Very nice place, varied choice, incredible Roast Pie!

Really welcoming and friendly staff. Really good roast, meet perfectly cooked (asked pink), excellent Yorkshire pudding, knocked down a star for the veggies - could have been more tender (roasted carrots ) and a bit more elaborate. Minimalist atmosphere, but nice and bright. Really good selection of beers. We will be back!

The Mall Tavern is my go to spot! They have a consistently good burger (which I rate as one of the top in London), great service, and a wide selection of unique beer. Highly recommend.

My favorite pub in London. The food is always amazing and the menu is seasonal so there is always something new and delicious to try. One constant on the menu is the fish and chip. Which are the absolute best. Nice piece of fish, crunchy chips and perfect peas! Beer list is always top notch as well!

Great beer, great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Visiting from Manchester and been here every day. Sunday lunch spot on, all staff super friendly. Live music, comedy, running club and pint. Just saw the reviews for chicken wings so will be popping back tomorrow.

Our first time visiting and it's not disappoint. As we didn't book (Friday night) they managed to squeeze us in which suits us as we just wanted a quick meal. I ordered skate wing and my partner having shepherd pie, and both dishes were DELICIOUS. Will definitely visit again next time when we are in the area.

Love their food offerings so much so that I gave The Mall 5-Stara despite the place being jam packed and having to wait a few minutes past my reservation time (Understandable, it’s a Friday). Amyway, for starters I had their Brisket Croquettes and a Scotch Egg, both delicious. My mains was their exquisite Shepherds Pie. My desert the Sticky Pudding. Coffee, black, to finish off tonights meal. This is my second visit from USA and will not be my last.

The Mall Tavern is always great. Met a friend, we've shared a bottle of wine and a few small dishes and we were both very pleased. I've also had the devilled kidneys after my friend left (see photo) and they were delicious.

We had a big group dinner at the pub and got a private room upstairs. The ambiance was great and Nati was absolutely wonderful treating us! The food and drinks were great also. We also took a look at the downstairs pub area and it looks lovely as well. Would highly recommend this place to big or small groups looking for a nice evening out!

The pub layout is a horseshoe shape. I was seated corner-end table and went to go to the bathroom. Started to head through the back, but then realised food was being lined up there ready to serve, so I immediately stopped and turned back to head the long way around (which is certainly more than what a lot of patrons would do that's for sure). Notwithstanding, the Madame felt the need to issue a stern public admonishment. I appreciate when things are busy it can get stressful for staff, but people go to the pub to relax, not receive reprimands from cranky wait staff for no reason. Perhaps it's time to get out of the hospitality industry and try something else? Or work on anger management? Food and atmosphere (and service generally) are very good though.

Sunday roast was much much better last year. This time it was too salty, too cold and I preferred peas and mangetout last time more than cabbage this time

Everything was magnificent here, the food, the service, the beers ! The staff worked super hard to get us in even on a busy Sunday without a reservation and the food was the best for our whole trip in London ! Highly recommend :)

Awesome place, great food and an amazing and unique beer offering. I visited several pubs around, and most have the same beers on tap but this one was totally different. A reservation is recommended for dinner. A couple of good options for vegetarians (not a veggie burguer).

Such potential! We had a drink in the bar 1st, great! Great music. Old style bar. Loads of draft beers. We then went next door for dinner. Food was ok. A little overpriced overall. Service was challenging. Staff kept walking through and we couldn't catch anybody's eye. I ended up waving and getting a staff member to come over - and that was just for the menus! Pretty slow after that, not that we were in a particular hurry but there was little or no attention being paid. Somewhat disappointing.

I was looking for a quick, late night dinner at the last minute, and was pleasantly surprised by this cozy little place. Delicious vegan Sunday roast, a nice selection of delicious draft beers, and the staff was attentive and accommodating despite it being busy. The food was so good, I ordered more to take home

Amazing staff, sorting a large table without booking. We had 3 young kids and buggy’s and nothing seemed too much of a problem. Warm and friendly place with good food, especially the cheese burger, and good beer selection.

Such a great experience! The fish and chips are incredible (great fry on it, and the breading is light and crisp). We also tried the Shepards Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The Shepards Pie was very good and filling. The Sticky Toffee Pudding sponge was spiced beautifully with loves of flavor. I personally prefer custard vs ice cream with my Sticky Toffee Pudding, but wow, this was still delicious. Don’t give it another thought, just go! The staff, experience, food, beer… it was all top notch!

I booked The Cellar for my birthday and can’t fault the experience. The whole team were so attentive and catered to every need (including Karaoke!). A night to remember.

This is my favourite pub. Period. The beer selection that the couple who own the place curate regularly is what brought me here, but it’s also the food that keeps me coming back. Love the ambiance and good oldies rock in the background. Kids friendly without having that « soccer mom » vibe it’s really open to all. Shoutout de Nathi who really cares about her patrons and serves some very nice home made specials !

Perfect! Came here for a Christmas dinner and everything was great from the service to the food. We ordered 3 courses for £45.50 each which is very affordable considering London prices. The pub has a super cosy vibe to it and nice atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and sociable. Would definitely recommend and come here again myself! I really love the tap list, great place to try new beers/lager etc to switch it up :)

Wir waren eigentlich nur hier, weil meine Frau ein Scotch Egg essen wollte - haben wir bekommen, es war aber auch das Beste an unserem Besuch. Leider war es sehr laut, vorweihnachtlich viel los. Das ist dem Personal nicht vorzuwerfen. Dass aber das Taylor Landlord von sehr bescheidener Qualität war, ist schon weniger leicht zu verzeihen. Und dass die Wände teilweise verfliest sind, als wäre man in einem Badezimmer, ist wohl Geschmackssache.

What a great pub. We had a really warm welcome and really good service throughout our visit yesterday. We were well looked after and had use of their nice cellar room downstairs. Thanks - would love to come back

What a great little pub. As a group we felt welcomed from the moment we entered. Warm mince pies were offered on arrival, and the excellent hospitality continued throughout our stay. Beer was great, especially the 16% stout. They have a very nice private downstairs cellar, too. Must be nice to eat down there.

What a lovely place in London. Reasonable price of roast, and super delicious. Staff members seems like very happy, and it makes me happy too.
