Really enjoyed the Monday pub quiz, lovely atmosphere. Food was yummy (although I wish the portion sizes were a little bigger given the price).

One of my favourite pubs in Notting Hill. First to mention is the outstanding service, the staff is so friendly and charming perfect combination with delish food and ambience. Definitely the best Sunday roast!

Always lovely staff, great beer, and great food

Sunday Roast at The Mall Tavern was a highlight of our visit to London. The menu was varied, the food delicious and the service was attentive and just lovely.

Reserved a Sunday roast , got the beef and it was very very good. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

There are a surprising amount of top-notch pubs in Notting Hill – but the Mall Tavern really appeals to me. Not only is the music always great (played out of some vintage Celestion speakers above the bar) but there's a brilliant live blues night in the basement every Thursday night. It's free and we had a great night down there the other week. The Mall Tavern also has one of the best curated selection of craft beers I've found in a single pub. Get stuck into pilsners, pales, IPAS, sours and specials from breweries including FLOC, DEYA, Pressure Drop, The Kernel, Sierra Nevada and more. Oh, and I should mention that the double patty cheeseburgers, Korean chicken wings and scotch eggs are totally legit too. Absolute banger of a boozer!

Great Sunday roast and amazing pud with fab selection of beers

Decent place with a good selection of beers and ales. My only criticism is that the staff are a bit clueless, we had to ask for water for the table three times and they just ignored request for the burgers to come with no sauce or onions. Food was nice however once my friend and I removed the bits we didn't want (due to food intolerances)

The problem of all restaurants in Granada. They hire a poor waiter to run 20 tables. They are not enough. The fish was well fried.

Fantastic beer festival, and just the most fantastic venue. Spent 5 hours in the basement near the IPAs, could say it was by design but who am I to say what’s what. Phenomenal time.

The Mall is a unique pub in London. The owner makes a point to have beers on tap that you won’t find in any other pub and runs special events constantly that add variety to a normal night. Would recommend to anyone that is local or visiting.

I do the weekly run club which is great fun and always followed by a few pints. Food is also top notch with great specials being served up regularly. Cozy pub, great draft list, fantastic food- might be my favorite local.

Don’t miss this pub! The food is not average pub food, its quality and all is carefully selected. Atmosphere is great. A bunch of friendly people. Great location close to Notting Hill Gate station. Don’t miss the croquette, Scottish egg and their pie! It’s a must go pub!

SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. The waitresses were so rude oh my. I would never go again so much attitude. Stinks of absolute fish it was so bad. Please don’t go.

Roastbeef was disappointing, which is tough and not flavorfull. They have delicious tiramisu that I can recommend.

A cosy little pub hidden away in Notting Hill. A fantastic beer menu, you'll definitely find something for everyone! I'd recommend the Pilsner München. There was also a cute restaurant, which we didn't try, but I'd love to give it a go.

The food was wonderful. Unfortunately, the tall lady manager we were dealing with was utterly rude to us and our table, likely due to something else bothering her. Sadly, this ruined the experience at Mall Tavern. In such situations, professionalism is essential so I felt I had to write a review since this wasnt on nor our fault.

A real gem of a pub. Geat range of beer, great staff, live music, and the landlord is a smashing bloke. Been coming for a year for the Thursday music and been meaning to have the pie for 2. Tried the brisket starter and steak pie/burgers with family and the Mall Tavern delivered on all fronts - superb all round! Highly recommended.

Love stopping by the Mall Tavern for a roast or pint when visiting London! The family that owns the pub is so friendly and you can tell they work hard to cultivate the local atmosphere!

We enjoyed our meal - good quality food and friendly service. There was a small snafu with my friend’s meal that came quite late but the staff were apologetic and things happen. Overall would happily return!

I've been craving Sunday Roast in London and finally got one this trip. It was incredible. I left SOOOO happy. The potatoes were perfectly crispy. The gravy was rich and savory. The roast was absolutely on point. I loved every bit. The best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had! Amazing service and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.

Stopped at The Mall Tavern with my daughter following a couple hours' walk to get a little warm, have a pint and a little to eat for lunch. We were not disappointed. The pint was delicious, the wings were a delight and everyone made you feel welcome. It was not very busy in the early afternoon, so we sat in the spot we wanted. The interior isn't modern, but is "cozy" while not feeling too old, staying true to the era -- and everything is clean! A happy, nice lady who smiles while helping you always is a bonus in my book -- so, if I am in London long enough, I will definitely make another visit.

12 of us went to celebrate a couple of our birthdays on a freezing Saturday evening in January. We thought the place would be quiet but it was really busy, with a great lively atmosphere! We had booked the table a few weeks ahead and gone through the menus with the lovely manageress who couldn't have been more helpful to make it special. We all ate a la carte and the food was excellent, all the diners said the same. The service was prompt and friendly. I'm definitely going back to try the roast chicken Sunday lunch! 😊

The Sunday Roast is to die for. I had chicken as main course and sticky toffee pudding as dessert. Delicious. And the service and the staff are so friendly. Warmly recommended.

Sunday lunch experience was great. The beef was delicious and plentiful and the pork was outstanding with crispy crackling. The scotch egg was runny and delicious. Croquettes great too. Best food we’ve had from a Sunday lunch for a while. The fish from the fish and chips smelt very strong and I didn’t eat it but not one of the staff asked me why. The service from staff was sporadic. There were a lot of staff but not very attentive. Not rude but not overly polite. The decor was ok with a good atmosphere but quite a few tiles are cracked and leave a slightly too lived in feel. A small refresh would add a lot. Overall the lunch was great and we will come again.

I have been in The Mall Tavern for NYE, and I loved it.

The food is superb however portions are small for what you pay. It's a busy place so the service is not great.

I hosted my birthday party here in the cellar. It was an amazing experience and everyone loved it. Nati and team were so easy to work with in the build up to the event and I would recommend hosting here to anyone!

We were tourists who walked from Hyde Park Speaker's Corner to Kensington Palace, and on to Notting Hill. On our way back we were famished and happened upon this lovely place. We had amazing fish & chips and peas; the best fish and chips ever. The fish was delicate and delicious and the batter was light and crispy with zero grease. The peas were yummy too. The friendly bartender let me try a few beer samples before selecting one which was very helpful. We really enjoyed our beer and lunch. The place had a very local establishment vibe. It came with the bonus of a lovely woman who told us she was 100 years old and had lived in the neighbourhood her entire life. I got to help her do her crossword puzzle and the whole experience was wonderful. When in London, we will go out of our way to return to this pub again!

The Mall Tavern is easily one of my favorite spots in Notting Hill. If you’re aiming for a table in the main dining area, I definitely recommend booking ahead. The roast I had there was absolutely fantastic—still one of the best I’ve had in London. The service is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Highly recommended!

Snack options are tasty , but you don't get much for the money !

At the top, except the price actually. Superb place, music, atmosphere, food that is just right. Beer gives you hope and the desire to live and the subdued atmosphere of an English Pub makes you want to talk for hours. But don't wait too long, otherwise, like the 5-person table behind us, you will choke in front of the fairly high prices!

I've always enjoyed a pint here, but after a wonderful family Xmas lunch yesterday, I now see it as a truly special pub.

They really looked after us - arranging the Christmas menu at late notice and some fantastic wines

Small pub but an amazing selection of beers that you won't really get anywhere else. Well worth a visit.

The food was tasty but not very good value for money. I had the vegan Christmas menu and the nut roast wasn't available so I only got a plate full of vegetables and combined with a dessert and non-alcoholic drink, I ended up paying more than £50 which also included the service but still, sorry, this was definitely too expensive.

Had the best dinner experience! I booked online for our friend Christmas dinner and got it wrong so we didnt get the Christmas menu. However the team was so accommodating and managed to get us crackers, a Christmas table decoration AND turkey dinner on the fly. They went above and beyond to make our night and it was wonderful! Huge thanks to KK especially, she was fabulous! The wine list is great and the cocktails were so lovely. Food on point. We’re fans now!

For two Canadians having their first British Sunday roast, everything was exceptional. The only negative is the fact we need to travel back to London to have this meal again! We ordered the beef & chicken Sunday roasts followed by the sticky toffee pudding. Everything was outstanding. Thank you for a great experience for our first night in London!

The Mall Tavern in Notting Hill offered a fantastic dining experience for our group of four. Despite arriving without a reservation, we were quickly seated and made to feel at home by the attentive staff. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for a casual evening out. I came specifically for the scotch eggs, and they were absolutely worth it—golden and crispy on the outside with a perfectly cooked interior. They were so good that we ended up ordering another round just before the kitchen closed, thanks to our wonderful server, Tara, who made sure we didn’t miss out. The rest of my group opted for fish and chips and a variety of small plates, all of which were well-executed and satisfying. The kitchen’s attention to classic British pub fare was evident in every bite. To round it all off, we enjoyed plenty of beer, and the service made sure our glasses were never empty for long. With excellent food, exceptional service, and a welcoming vibe, The Mall Tavern is a standout pub. Visiting from los angeles with great british friends who had never been to the mall tavern.We all had a great time ,fabulous meal and we got to sit next to Betty who told us she is 100 years old. Thanks to our wonderful (bearded) waiter for his patience with our late arriving guests.

I very rarely leave reviews, but this is the best Sunday roast I've had at a pub/restaurant. Pork was outstanding, and beef was also pink and cooked to perfection. Veg and sides were amazing. Service great, nice selection of lager which is different from most pubs. Definitely returning.

The Mall Tavern is a must go! I booked a private room for 10 friends and we enjoyed the Sunday roast menu which was delicious. Having a private room gave that feel of luxury to our Christmas get together and the staff were still very attentive despite the room being out the way. Nati in particular was the hero of the night! I'll be back to try her tiramisu which wasn't available when we went.

Worst service have in my life! Having first had to ask for at the bar for our orders to be taken. The service was non existent from that point Not only did we have to clear our own starters and wait over a hour for mains We had to mop us a spilled glass of water while staff watched. Food was all terrible and over salted and two of use couldn’t eat our food We then finally got someone to take money from us so we can get out after uneaten plates left infront of us without a check back We asked for service to be removed and was happy not take any further and just got somewhere else to eat more food and drink. They then split the bill between 4 not 5 and charged us too much When a manager came to resolve the over payment they say down and “shouted” “What do you want” We said excuse me dont shout at us for bad service and over charging us.. She then shouted at use for a few minutes and pointed out how we was some how wrong Never before in my life have I been in such a terrible situation
