The fish and chips are very good, not oily at all, the fries were very good as well as the sauces.

Dinner there at the beginning of March during my stay in London. Excellent food, I recommend, but place not very bright.

Just popped in for a portion of chips, unfortunately as soon as I stepped out to take a bite I found that they were cold and stale. Immediately went back in and the server promptly threw the bag in the bin and gave me a fresh hot portion. These chips were okay but I’m puzzled why it was deemed acceptable to be given that first substandard portion.

The place is exactly what it promises to be: gives you good fish and chips, does it fast, tasty and affordable

The fish was good, but the potatoes were a bit soft. The service was bad. When I told one of the employees that my order ess wrong, the one who took my order started arguing about me with her coworkes, two metres in front of me.

This used to be a really good fish and chip shop, sadly that is no longer the case. I couldn't even eat the batter as it just tasted of old oil. I would normally commiserate with the chips, but they wasn't any good either. The staff were very friendly, but asked us to pay as soon as we had ordered, and whereas that would be normally be the case with takeaway, this was never the case with dining in. Perhaps they realised that the food was so bad that we wouldn't want to pay once we had tasted it. Fair assumption, but we did pay, but we certainly won't be returning.

Unfortunately you didn't see the sides listed on the menu and you were a bit surprised when ordering. The fish & chips came quickly and in large portions. We were assigned to sit downstairs and it was initially very crowded and noisy with the other guests, but once they were finished it was a pleasant atmosphere. The fish was very soft and pleasant to eat. We left completely full, satisfied and would come back

I don't understand people's good ratings, I know you want to eat fish and chips in London. Well don't go here, no taste, as soon as you settle in you have to order and pay before eating..

the fish was cooked in too much oil and had absorbed the excess oil. Since the chips were prepared beforehand, they were cold and maybe heated a little later. Think twice before you go. The tables were not clean, they were sticky

One of our most expensive food on our trip to London, however it was our least favorite. Food was bland, we needed to add a lot more salt to it and the place itself seemed unhygienic. Server seemed to have an attitude, not the most friendly. When I asked for water, he just grabbed the almost empty jug from the other table and put it on our table. Didn’t even bother to give us another jug or at least refill that one. I’m not sure how this place has such high ratings.

The place is ok, but neglected and dirty, geared towards tourists. You eat, you pay and the next guest takes your place. Fish and chips quite good. Prices adequate to the area.

Food was alright, nice piece of fish, however, the woman server was so miserable and rude.It was evidently too much of an effort to fish a pickled onion out of a jar (which I paid for) and when I asked to have the sauce I also paid for, I got the most dramatic death stare 🤣 If looks could kill, I'd be deader than the fish I ate. Lovely Chef though!

Visited on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was fairly quiet, I'd imagine it has a much better atmosphere when it's busy during weekends. Food was great, however it would have been perfect if the plate was hot and the glass and beer much colder. Very good fish and chips though. Thanks 👍

Do not go there! Tried to charge us for food we did not consume, super rude service.

We were charged immediately after ordering. Unfortunately, it only worked so that it was debited from our account and supposedly not credited to their account. We didn't receive any food and had to take care of the chargeback through our bank ourselves. After we threatened to go to the police, the money was suddenly back... not with us again.

I paid a bill twice because they told me that the order was “pending” and not success in their system. Currently I am in contact with Revolut to receive my money back, but I was scammed by this restaurant and will go to all lengths to get my money back!

Pubic hair on my fries, head hair on my wife's fries. Waited for an hour before we got our food. Sticky tables. Appallingly bad fish and limp fries. Don't come here.

Amazing customer service from Radhika and Sam, food was absolutely delicious as usual. Fish was crispy and fresh and chips were golden and fluffy. We have been coming for years and I even had my birthday here. We are fish and chips connoisseurs and still have not found a better place :) highly recommend

Il fish and chips più buono di Londra lo trovi qua. Ho chiesto una variante con haddock del fish burger inserito nel menù e mi è stata tranquillamente servita. Oltre il pesce, patatine e contorni con i quali viene servito, sono buonissimi. Meravigliosa cordialità, premura, attenzione, serenità e collaborazione nel modo di lavorare di tutto il personale. Vicinissimo alla stazione underground di Notting Hill. Ogni volta che torno a Londra, anche a distanza di anni, ci torno e non delude mai.

Went in to take up there ‘12 days of Christmas’ over which states free with no purchase required to be told I have to make an adult purchase to redeem the offer. It does not state that on the poster or on the post you posted in regards to it. Walked out and didn’t bother.

El sitio es bastante acogedor. Tiene tres plantas donde se reparten varias mesas. Nos pusieron en la más alta y al llegar hacía bastante frío. Enseguida pusieron el aire caliente y empezamos a entrar en calor. Hubo un gesto del camarero que me molestó bastante. Pedimos para beber vasos de agua que siempre te los ponen por defecto cosa que aquí no y nos miró súper mal. Tuve que pedirme una fanta de naranja porque sentía que si no, iba a ser desagradable la experiencia. Los platos de comida son enormes, te dejas bastante comida ya que los pescados son enormes. Estaban bastante ricos, sosos y poco grasientos, por lo que esta muy bien y mi estómago lo agradeció. El sitio para la zona que es, está muy bien porque no te tienes que gastar mucho y comes muy bien.

Upon entering the restaurant, it’s nice place with a nice atmosphere. However, the same can’t be said about the food. We ordered fish and chips. The fish was excellent but the chips were way too hard and didn’t taste fresh at all. Seeing how it’s a fish and chips restaurant, I expected more. The workers aren’t necessarily rude but they weren’t welcoming either. It seemed like they were only their to do their job. Which of course is what they’re supposed to do but it would be nice if they had a nicer attitude.

Waren gerade hier Fish & Chips essen. Ich habe es zum ersten Mal gegessen und bin positiv überrascht worden ! Die Portionen sind riesig und der Backfisch war perfekt ! Der Service war sehr freundlich und zügig. Preise sind für London durchschnittlich.

We arrived at 2pm and a girl attended us and said that we would have to wait about 10 min to have a seat. We were okay with this and stoos there. Then another waitress (Maria) and told us without even saying hello that she could not assure us that we would have a table inviting us to leavwe. We responded that we could wait the fifteen minutes the other waitress said and she just repeated herself and gave us a bad face. After less than 5 min we have a table. She served us and was super rude, almosr threw the menus at our faces. They charged us before the food even came and without a receipt. The food is super greasy, pricey and not even that great. It is not worth it at all the worst is the customer service. And the toilets are super gross. Worst customer service bc of Maria we were uncomfortable the whole time. ahe treated the same way the other customers. Would not come back nor recommend it.

Comida para llevar y también algunas mesas para comer allí. La comida abundante. Se equivocaron en la comanda y nos dejaron los platos que habían traído por error, además de traer los correctos.

Local con varias plantas, pequeño y acogedor. El fish and chips está muy bueno y buena relación calidad precio. Hay que pagar antes de que te sirvan.

마켓 구경 갔다가 돌아오는 길에 우연히 피쉬앤칩스가 보여서 들어갔는데 너무 맛있었어요 ^^* 런던에러 제일 맛있게 먹은 메뉴입니다 ㅎ 생선살이 부드럽고 겉은 바삭합니다 감자튀김도 맛있고 좋았습니다

Either my memory deceived me, or something suffered over the COVID shutdown. We had a great meal here in 2019, and we eagerly returned during our first trip to London since travel resumed. Quite a different experience this time. Fish was OK, but oh the chips were something else - was like eating plastic. Feels like overnight chips. Explains why we observed no queues unlike our first visit. Hope the owner takes note.

Very disappointed with my visit to my once favorite fish n chips shop. I need to find a picture from a couple of years ago. The fish was beautiful! This time it looked and tasted like a frozen filet. And NO mushy peas. Won't waste a meal time at that establishment on my next pass through London.

Been going to this fish shop for a few years. Used to go 3 times a month but hadn’t been for a while so thought we would treat ourselves. When we went in we realised it was new owners as we were usually greeted at the door but nope we were ignored, so we just went upstairs to sit down, there were 2 women working up there who just had their backs to us and it took me to say “excuse me can we order” the look I got when she come over was rude. When food came it wasn’t up to the standard we used to have in there. I said to my husband I didn’t enjoy that meal for what we paid and found them very ignorant, I definitely won’t return, which is a shame as used to enjoy eating in there.

La comida muy bien y tardaron muy poco en traerlo. Quizás podrían mejorar un poco el servicio. El plato era para compartir y tardaron en traer dos platos a parte para comer.No me gustó que me pidieran de pagar antes de comer, al ser un restaurante no lo vi muy etico. Dicho eso volvería!!

Non è il fish&chips che mi aspettavo. Il colore del pesce fritto dava l’idea che l’olio fosse vecchio e il sapore non era dei migliori. Patatine fritte molto buone e cameriera simpatica e disponibile. Prezzi più alti rispetto a qualche anno fa e qualità più bassa. Bagni vecchi, poco puliti e poco profumati. Per essere a Notting Hill ci aspettavamo molta più cura dei dettagli.

Sono stato qui 16/11/2016 e poi in data 10/11/2023 . In questi 7 anni il locale è completamente cambiato . Purtroppo in negativo …… persone Gentile e disponibile e location carina sono gli unici aspetti positivi della mia ultima esperienza qui ….. il pesce sembrava essere stato fritto con olio vecchio e non di qualità come la prima volta ….. i prezzi sono aumentati ma non la qualità. La prossima volta proverò sicuramente un altro locale 😔

We had been looking forward to real fish and chips in London and somehow never got around to finding some. Then on our last day we found the best fish and chips EVER. Chips were perfect while the fish was light and fresh The batter was crisp and delicious. Not a heavy batter just perfect. Highly recommend you bring your appetite as the servings are generous

My experience at deep blue was absolutely amazing; the food was a 10/10 - the cod was cooked to perfection and the chips were well seasoned. There was also a wide range of dips and sauces that accompanied the main dish quite well. What really made the experience for me, however, was the service. My waiter, Jermaine was so kind and welcoming :) He gave great recommendations on what to order as well. I wish him and Deep Blue the absolute best <33
