We got kick out, after having dinner on our “ex” local pub. We, as many other times, when there to watch football champion semifinal game. The game went to overtime. 7 min remaining, although all customers complained, we were ask to go, because company policies (!!!!) (22:30!!!) Never experience this before!!

i meet some friends for a dinner and some drinks while we were watching a champions league semifinal. 10 minutes left remaining of the game, they turn off the TV (10:30pm sharp) and us, and another 20 customers were ask to leave. Never seen this in any pub ever. I Don't recommend anyone to go to see a game there.

Me and my friends had a really terrible experience at this pub. When we entered we walked through to check out the upstairs seating since it was accessible through an open door with no ‘no entry’ indications. There was nobody up there so we came back down to double check if we could sit there. When they saw us come down they were really rude about the fact we had gone upstairs and made us feel really uncomfortable, we were apologetic but at one point they just turned their backs to us. When we tried to order our drinks we were really polite, and apologised again, and were met with coldness and they prioritised their own conversations. We felt like a massive inconvenience for being paying customers. I’ve honestly never felt so awkward and unwelcome at any establishment. We all finished our drinks and went to another pub. Don’t go here if you value at least average customer service.

Could be the perfect pub. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great food. Been in several times while on holiday. Enjoyed having just drinks. Enjoyed the amazing food. Enjoyed watching some football.

When I walked up to the bar, there were 3 staff, one was serving, another one looked at me, I started saying what I wanted, he looked away and started talking to the other staff member and ignored me. After a few minutes the other staff member told him they thought I was waiting to be served, he rolled his eyes and walked over and served me. I decided not to order food and just get a drink. A pint of coke was £5.40! What a rip off.

Hateful and denicious bartender. We left without being served. He intentionally put all the customers before us. We spent 10 days in London and visited several pubs, restaurants, etc. This is the only place where we were poorly received. Everywhere else everyone was super friendly. Too bad because we were staying very close to your pub. We therefore made other choices. You answered me very pleasantly. I cannot contact you again. My English is not developed enough. Damage. I went here on a weekend, and was taken aback by how indolent, and unhelpful the staff were. There appears to be no managerial oversight and the staff were rude on 3 separate occassions. I have lived in London a long time and have never experienced this in a pub before. I am not someone inclined to post a google review, but would recommend anyone who wishes to be treated with civility to avoid this pub at all costs.

Our group went here twice while on vacation...so good we had to come back! Quite honestly some of the best chips I've ever had, including fries in the US. We also got the Sunday roast for four, and everything was fantastic; plenty of food to go around. Service was very good too. Highly recommend!

I don’t know what’s happened to this pub but today the roast was appalling. The meat looked like it had been microwaved. This was the beef. The potatoes looked old like they had been sat in the pan for hours. Not crispy. It was really bad. 2 drinks 2 roast dinners £55.60. Not worth even half this price. Toilets in a bad way. This was only 4pm. You need to improve what you are doing in this pub. It’s an old pub that a lot of people enjoy and you are not taking care of it.

Nos gusta mucho este lugar porque está muy cerca de nuestro piso. Desafortunadamente, ambas veces que fuimos a cenar nos fastidiaron los pedidos. ¿Entiendo que pasa una vez pero dos veces? La segunda vez llevaron nuestra comida a la mesa incorrecta y los clientes la aceptaron después de traer otros tres platos incorrectos a nuestra mesa. Completamente desorganizado. Al mirar a la mesa de al lado con nuestra comida arrancada no ofrecieron aperitivo o bebida gratis. -Nada. Y por cierto, la cocina cerró en 10 minutos así que no había nada que pudieran hacer. Absolutamente terrible. Cereza encima - todo fuera de Guinness. Caminaremos unas cuadras más para una mejor experiencia la próxima noche.

Unreasonable Hospitality: visiting from out of town and the kindness this pub has shown has been unparalleled. We had to check out early from our Airbnb and Joe let us stay here in between. We had awesome truffle fries, drinks, and great conversations. Joe is awesome and I will definitely visit again soon.

I returned to London after 2 months away with work, I had vowed not to return to this pub (my local for the past 6 years), due to the temporary management and staff at the time absolutely ruining my local. This week I returned and to my surprise there has been a complete 180 in everything. Mark the previous manager who was away for a while is back at the helm, and finally it is a proper local pub, treating customers with the respect and service that had long been missing. The Guinness is once again up to a good standard, the way it's poured and the taste. The food is on point, the staff is better, no more rude behaviour or disrespect to locals and customers. I can only hope senior management take heed and realise when they have a a good manager and staff in situ, this pub is once again be back to a "proper local" like it used to be, and a place I look forward to coming and hanging with friends and inviting others to visit me there.

I am only giving one star as I can’t go lower! I was treated to Christmas dinner here for which I thought would be wonderful! It was AWFUL!! we arrived at 3pm, the table they sat us at was dirty. Thankfully I am an outspoken person, so got the table cleaned and ordered food! An hour later, we had canapés. An hour later, we skipped the pallet cleanse and asked for the main- two and a half hours later the food arrived- MICROWAVED!! I am not even mentioning; we requested no beetroot on the starter, as my daughter had a mild allergy. They gave her beetroot!! Thank God it wasn’t a severe allergy! I could go on about the catalyst of events- but suffice to say- never, ever again. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it wasn’t just us -I am sure others in the dining room will be complaining too!! Awful, awful, awful!!!!!!

Cuando nos preguntan por el menú de Navidad era una baldosa que algunos tenemos en su sitio web que muy extraña liderar. La comida, sin embargo, fue una lástima muy agradable que no era lo que fuimos a por. Un poco de cena fuimos a tomar unos cócteles uno de nosotros quería un martini exprés de Navidad nos dijeron que no tenemos eso para una normal Uno. Bueno, lo que tenemos es agua para lavavajillas. Cuando dice que esto no es un Express Martin nos dijeron que era la decepción en el personal era cierto que después de todo That wa dijo que no habían tenido el ingrediente correcto. Gastamos mucho dinero allí, qué pena. Para colmo de los inodoros fue lo peor que he visto nunca no hay luces bloqueadas inodoros y no rollo de inodoro. Tan decepcionante como que estábamos fuera para nuestra reunión de Navidad juntos.

El servicio al cliente de Courtney fue brillante, ella era muy acogedor y amable, ella ofreció una gran selección de bebidas, creo que tuve uno demasiado jajaja pero me encantó mi experiencia aquí y sin duda volveré en el futuro

Este solía ser un gran pub local. Desde que Stonegate asumió el mando, ha bajado una colina masivamente. El personal no está entrenado y lucha por servir una pinta de cerveza completa sin la orientación de la clientela, es entonces cuando logras sacarlos de sus teléfonos o cotillear con amigos para servirte. Son encantadores individualmente, pero no saben qué bebidas abastecen, qué vinos están en la carta de vinos, los ingredientes de los alimentos en los menús o qué promociones se están ejecutando. Los baños de caballeros se inundan regularmente -el olor emana en todo el bar y las áreas de comida- y no ha habido bombilla en el baño de damas durante meses. La semana pasada no había calefacción a pesar de tener una chimenea abierta. Nadie podría molestarse en encenderlo. El personal y los clientes llevaban abrigos y sombreros. Tuvimos que traer nuestro propio calentador de ventilador y enchufarlo al lado de nuestra mesa. Durante los últimos 6 días no ha habido cerveza ni IPA. Fue entregado hace cuatro días pero nadie ha limpiado las tuberías. ¡Qué pena!

Cozy, delightful pub! Their kitchen is open til 9pm, making it one of the few London pubs you can get a Sunday Roast for dinner!

I have used The Eagle for over 2 years and this pub caters for a mix of clientele. Staff are friendly and I enjoy my chats with them at the bar. I get to watch sport and also enjoy the ambience of being in a pub. Some seating outside which is nice in the good weather.

Popped in to send some emails and have a quick soft drink. Ended up having a burger and stayed for 2 more hours. Such a great pub. Fantastic staff (Aaron) great atmosphere and excellent location. Been back twice!

A pleasant surprise when stopping with friends, I had goats cheese lasagna which was amazing! Literally came on here to mention this. Very friendly and approachable staff, who went out of their way to help my friend who has a food intolerance. Ask for the servers name when leaving and that turned out to be the manager. thank you so much Aaron.

I used to love coming here as a semi local (I live in the area half the year) but since the old manager went on leave, it has become a terrible place. The staff have zero training and no idea how to provide proper service or make a drink. The burger used to be fantastic but it is now over cooked and over priced. I can walk down the street to many other pubs and have way better service for less money and a better vibe. Won't be back unless the old manager comes back and rights this very broken ship

I would just like to say last night was pretty bad an experience- the lady at the bar had no idea we were coming. We had booked ages ago and i had discussed that afternoon on the phone with someone whether we eat upstairs or down so they should have been expecting 8 people. There was no real table service for drinks - the orders were rushed to be in before 9 and by 9.30 they were stacking chairs and crashing barriers right by us and pretty much shutting down. The food was good but out overall experience sadly really was not! Susan

Had Sunday Roast at The Eagle (Ladbroke Grove) and it was such a lovely experience. Rhavanna was so sweet and a wonderful host. All the food was delicious and I would highly recommend this location.

I came here one very rainy Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I had the kids roast beef and it was truly superb. The meat was so tender, which is hard to find as it is often tough in other establishments I have been to. The Yorkshire pudding is apparently homemade, which is why it tasted so good. Please keep up these high standards. You obviously have a very good meat supplier. Think I will have an adult roast portion next time as it was so good!

Lovely first stop, after crossing the pond. Had a wait for Airbnb checkin, and this was perfect. Traditional fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection. Loved the local ambiance. We returned a few days later!

this London pub in the heart of Ladbroke Grove is the perfect place to grab a nice chilled pint, a lovely chilled glass of wine or a mouth watering cocktail. the drink selection is just perfect!!!! The food from this pub is some of the best ive ever had with such a selection to choose from. Weather its a light bite your looking for or a beautiful main course this pub has it all and don't get me started on those delicious Sunday roasts you just can't beat it ! this service I received here is some of the best ive had with staff going above and beyond. Staff are always helpful and always a laugh. Food is great and definitely recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger and the haddock croquettes. 10/10 would recommend.

Best roast in west London by far, I have eaten a roast in most places.. and the Eagle has the best cuts of lamb.. roast potatoes and veg.. all worth the money

My jumper was sticking to the table it was so encrusted with dirt, you can see where the " cleaner" has not touched which is most of the table, I scraped it with a credit card and was disgusted by the detritus, how can anyone conceivably eat off of this urghhh.

Oh dear! An old favourite of mine has gone totally downhill. The last few times I have been in, there are not enough staff behind the bar for the number of customers, the television is left on a sports channel at high volume even when showing no sport, tables remain unclear for ages until customers request they be cleared and glasses mount up by the dishwasher in perilous towers. Since Stonegate took over, this pub is no longer worth visiting. So sad.

The menu on the website was different than at the pub and in the pub there were two conflicting and different menus on offer. Didn’t matter because our first three choice weren’t available. Same with drinks, Watermelon cocktail not available as were a lot of the beers on tap. Maybe it was a cold January Monday night but will give it a miss next time.

Lovely roast. Plenty of gravy which was nice. Wine selection is great as well. Definitely worth a visit.

All the staff are lovely here, very welcoming and helpful. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the food is excellent, I had the burger twice and is one of the best burgers I’ve eaten and cooked to perfection, highly recommend coming here for something to eat or just a nice pint thanks again to all the staff

Went for my lunch with my daughter- we ordered a cocktail which looked delicious on the menu but quite clearly had too much soda water added- when i took it back and asked if they could remake it with less soda, I was told yes and then a few moments later, the barman appeared at our table with the drink in his hand and we were told that they had followed the recipe and so the next one would be exactly the same… er.., not if you add less soda water. Not exactly customer led service- also quite confrontational. Now, the food, my turkey roast at £26.50 - £7 more than the chicken was really not very nice. The meat was poor. Congealed bread sauce in a tiny metal ramekin- pigs in blanket (actually just the one) and one ball of stuffing. And the rest of the trimmings- - were very average- roast potatoes - not crunchy- parsnips were soggy too. Our final bill was £67.50 for a pretty dreadful experience.

I have visited this pub on multiple occasions and have recommended it to numerous friends and family as we've had the best Sunday Roasts. My partner has previously left a positive review and stand by it as it is true to the experience at the time. However, today has changed all that. We decided to have an impromptu lunch, my partner goes in to ask for a table as we had our 5 week old with us, just to ensure there was space. He was greeted by a woman who said she was the manager, the entire place was full and there was a 5 seater table with a lone customer having a pint, when my partner asked if he could speak to the customer about moving, the 'manager' refused to let him and wouldn't do it herself and rather rudely dismissed my partner without any explanation or clear communication. We decide to leave and as we were walking a way, a man stood outside the pub overheard our conversation and said he's the manager, we begin to explain what happened, the lady who said she was the manager immediately comes out and changes her story (on top of having lied about being the manager) said the customer was waiting for his family, when my partner asked why she didn't just communicate that, she raises her voice saying 'I don't need to tell you anything' and continues to shout at him. We just walked away. It was the RUDEST experience I've ever had at any establishment in my life. Such a shame as we really love the food but definitely NEVER going back there again. There's a similar review about bad customer service with new staff, so looks like it's not an isolated incident. Shame, another local lost. Have seen the the owners response, so now apparently the customer is not waiting for his family, he has difficulty moving around. Once again, changing the narrative when it suits. Which is what kicked off this entire negative interaction to begin with. My point made. Thank you. As I've said at the start of the review, we've had pleasant experiences and my partner has left a positive review in the past. Maybe they just didn't like the look of us today. Either way, no excuse for such bad behaviour, especially in the hospitality business.

Nice pub, and cozy from the cold London air. Could easily sit here for hours at a time. The clientele is a mixture of old London locals and the gentrified, which actually makes a nice atmosphere. Beer is good, but unfortunately not as many cask options these days. The price is really good though

We watched both sets of rugby world cup quarter finals here yesterday and found the Eagle spacious, friendly, comfortable, and serving great food and beverages. We had the baked camembert, loaded dirty fries, wings, and multiple beer, wine, spritzes. We would absolutely hang out here for a game or meal any time!
