I came here one very rainy Sunday afternoon a couple of weeks ago. I had the kids roast beef and it was truly superb. The meat was so tender, which is hard to find as it is often tough in other establishments I have been to. The Yorkshire pudding is apparently homemade, which is why it tasted so good. Please keep up these high standards. You obviously have a very good meat supplier. Think I will have an adult roast portion next time as it was so good!

Highly recommend for a really great and filling Sunday Roast. Beef was cooked perfectly and the trimmings were perfectly seasoned. Veg one also was flavoursome too. And can’t go wrong with the drinks on offer👌 Shoutout to Eva also for taking care of us, constantly checking in and being quick with everything. Superstar she is and made the experience better.

Had a lovely time at The Eagle catching up with a friend. The staff are really lovely particularly Mikel he was very accommodating, bubbly and ensured we had a good time at the pub. They also had a live DJ on Friday which was really nice

Lovely first stop, after crossing the pond. Had a wait for Airbnb checkin, and this was perfect. Traditional fish and chips. The fish was cooked to perfection. Loved the local ambiance. We returned a few days later!

Really lovely afternoon spent at The Eagle. Lovely wine, food (try the deep fried pickles) and especially lovely lady behind the bar.

Lovely place! Great drink and food selection that is priced accordingly to the quality. Recommend the Sunday beef roast and the sea bream, both generous serves and delicious :)

this London pub in the heart of Ladbroke Grove is the perfect place to grab a nice chilled pint, a lovely chilled glass of wine or a mouth watering cocktail. the drink selection is just perfect!!!! The food from this pub is some of the best ive ever had with such a selection to choose from. Weather its a light bite your looking for or a beautiful main course this pub has it all and don't get me started on those delicious Sunday roasts you just can't beat it ! this service I received here is some of the best ive had with staff going above and beyond. Mark , Rhavanna , Harri and the rest of the team provide a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone to enjoy and feel safe in! thank you team Eagle for everything you do !!!!!!

Good beer, tasty burgers, friedly service.

Staff are always helpful and always a laugh. Food is great and definitely recommend the Bacon Cheeseburger and the haddock croquettes. 10/10 would recommend.

Such a great pub. I come in mostly during the daytime. The girl Rhavanna is always running around.she never stops. Best service and quality beer.

we booked for mothers day,Harry who looked after us, was so kind and friendly. and explained all the menu options ect...It is very hard to get staff like this nowadays Harry went beyond the call of duty Thank you for making my mothers day so special.look forward to visiting again.

Best roast in west London by far, I have eaten a roast in most places.. and the Eagle has the best cuts of lamb.. roast potatoes and veg.. all worth the money

My jumper was sticking to the table it was so encrusted with dirt, you can see where the " cleaner" has not touched which is most of the table, I scraped it with a credit card and was disgusted by the detritus, how can anyone conceivably eat off of this urghhh.

Oh dear! An old favourite of mine has gone totally downhill. The last few times I have been in, there are not enough staff behind the bar for the number of customers, the television is left on a sports channel at high volume even when showing no sport, tables remain unclear for ages until customers request they be cleared and glasses mount up by the dishwasher in perilous towers. Since Stonegate took over, this pub is no longer worth visiting. So sad.

The menu on the website was different than at the pub and in the pub there were two conflicting and different menus on offer. Didn’t matter because our first three choice weren’t available. Same with drinks, Watermelon cocktail not available as were a lot of the beers on tap. Maybe it was a cold January Monday night but will give it a miss next time.

Lovely roast. Plenty of gravy which was nice. Wine selection is great as well. Definitely worth a visit.

All the staff are lovely here, very welcoming and helpful. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the food is excellent, I had the burger twice and is one of the best burgers I’ve eaten and cooked to perfection, highly recommend coming here for something to eat or just a nice pint thanks again to all the staff

I have visited this pub on multiple occasions and have recommended it to numerous friends and family as we've had the best Sunday Roasts. My partner has previously left a positive review and stand by it as it is true to the experience at the time. However, today has changed all that. We decided to have an impromptu lunch, my partner goes in to ask for a table as we had our 5 week old with us, just to ensure there was space. He was greeted by a woman who said she was the manager, the entire place was full and there was a 5 seater table with a lone customer having a pint, when my partner asked if he could speak to the customer about moving, the 'manager' refused to let him and wouldn't do it herself and rather rudely dismissed my partner without any explanation or clear communication. We decide to leave and as we were walking a way, a man stood outside the pub overheard our conversation and said he's the manager, we begin to explain what happened, the lady who said she was the manager immediately comes out and changes her story (on top of having lied about being the manager) said the customer was waiting for his family, when my partner asked why she didn't just communicate that, she raises her voice saying 'I don't need to tell you anything' and continues to shout at him. We just walked away. It was the RUDEST experience I've ever had at any establishment in my life. Such a shame as we really love the food but definitely NEVER going back there again. There's a similar review about bad customer service with new staff, so looks like it's not an isolated incident. Shame, another local lost. Have seen the the owners response, so now apparently the customer is not waiting for his family, he has difficulty moving around. Once again, changing the narrative when it suits. Which is what kicked off this entire negative interaction to begin with. My point made. Thank you. As I've said at the start of the review, we've had pleasant experiences and my partner has left a positive review in the past. Maybe they just didn't like the look of us today. Either way, no excuse for such bad behaviour, especially in the hospitality business.

Went for my lunch with my daughter- we ordered a cocktail which looked delicious on the menu but quite clearly had too much soda water added- when i took it back and asked if they could remake it with less soda, I was told yes and then a few moments later, the barman appeared at our table with the drink in his hand and we were told that they had followed the recipe and so the next one would be exactly the same… er.., not if you add less soda water. Not exactly customer led service- also quite confrontational. Now, the food, my turkey roast at £26.50 - £7 more than the chicken was really not very nice. The meat was poor. Congealed bread sauce in a tiny metal ramekin- pigs in blanket (actually just the one) and one ball of stuffing. And the rest of the trimmings- - were very average- roast potatoes - not crunchy- parsnips were soggy too. Our final bill was £67.50 for a pretty dreadful experience.

Chilll place with a nice mix of patrons . Service is timely and atmosphere unassuming . Lots of nhs staff visit from the nearby hospital as well aa locals

Nice pub, and cozy from the cold London air. Could easily sit here for hours at a time. The clientele is a mixture of old London locals and the gentrified, which actually makes a nice atmosphere. Beer is good, but unfortunately not as many cask options these days. The price is really good though

Wonderful pub, very friendly staff!

We watched both sets of rugby world cup quarter finals here yesterday and found the Eagle spacious, friendly, comfortable, and serving great food and beverages. We had the baked camembert, loaded dirty fries, wings, and multiple beer, wine, spritzes. We would absolutely hang out here for a game or meal any time!

First time visit for a quick pint when passing through the area. A mixture of locals and gentrifiers with a good atmosphere. Chubby lad behind the bar would not serve anyone he didn’t already know and got rude to a customer who tried to get his attention so the talk blonde barmaid had to go and serve everyone.

Hello, had a good time here pleasant and cosmopolitan staff.

Steak was fantastic, but the drunk locals at the bar kinda ruined the ambience. The dining area should be well away from the front bar. And WTF is it with dogs in London. You can’t seem to visit any pubs these days without dogs everywhere. Especially around food serving areas. Anyway, great food but the general vibe was a bit off

This is not the pub's fault. More on us not understanding the British lifestyle, but we went there with our child to experience the British pub dining, but the place was packed with after-work people and they were very loud, so we left the pub without ordering anything. We should have gone there for lunch to avoid the drunk people.

A fantastic London pub serving great food with a warm welcoming. The Owners & staff are lovely and very helpful. I can recommend the Chicken & Leek pie, great mash, fresh veg & piping hot rich gravy. Yum x

We had a lovely time at The Eagle. The ambience was great - lively but not too loud. The bar snacks/starters were really interesting and delicious, and we really enjoyed our mains. Traditional with flair. Dessert and coffee was also great (good coffee in a pub is rare!). The staff and service were lovely.

Visiting from the US and randomly found this pub after searching for a spot to eat. What a great, fun, and quintessentially local British pub. People were friendly, the bartenders could not have been nicer, and the food was great.

Great place. Great food. Great atmosphere. Really great staff - Shay was superb. One downer was that there was a drunk lady (maybe ex-employee) called Lou/Louise and she was terrible - berating staff and just being awful. Pub should ban her! Everything else was great.

We attended The Eagle for the 3rd time this month. Always great service, great food and enjoyable atmosphere. Shay and Jay were superb attendees - we were so impressed with them. I think that someone called Joe was managing - he was very attentive, kind, diligent and we felt really looked after by him and his staff. Thank you to the team. I will mention that there was an insane woman there who I think may have worked there in the past. She was not fun to be around. Really grateful for our experiences there

Amazing food and service yet again! I hate to be a biased local, but The Eagle is yet to disappoint! Had a meal with 5 friend tonight and the manager Joe was more than helpful and friendly! Food was delicious!! We stayed for drinks, and the bar tenders Shay & Jay (apologies if I’ve got the names wrong) were really friendly and good fun! Thank you so much for a much needed good time x

I find myself editing my excellent review also appreciating the managers feedback at the time. After many visits in the last months, here is my update: I have been a regular at this pub for several years, sadly in the past couple of months, due, I think, to multiple staff and management changes, the standard of service and basic manners, has gone sharply down hill. It used to be a place I would regularly take visitors, friends, family and I am now seriously reconsidering this. It makes me sad as I can honestly say my favourite local pub for years has lost everything that made it that enjoyable, welcoming, friendly place to hang out in the neighbourhood. I hope someone in charge above reads this and feel free to contact me for any more specific information. I truly hope it gets back to a fraction of what it used to be.

Went for a work night out and can't fault the service we got. Very attentive staff and more importantly very friendly.

We hosted a volunteer thank you event in the upstairs private space at the Eagle on 18/05/23. The new management/staff are simply amazing - especially Louise and Mark. Louise, despite being short staffed on the night, was really attentive and provided us with excellent service on the day. We were never without drinks or food (which was delicious). I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I'd like to thank the team at The Eagle - in particular Shay who looked after myself and my party of 40+ that night. Shay took particular care to not only serve with a smile but check in on us to make sure we were ok and was always on hand to answer any queries or deal with any issues. I organise big team nights out and rarely do we experience that intangible excellence that makes us want to return to the same venue. We're very grateful. Honourable mention goes to the manager who clearly takes time to curate a staff who work well together and carry out the ethos of good hospitality. Couldn't recommend The Eagle enough. See you all again soon.

Disgusting beer. As a bar team member myself I was shocked. There response was tepid. Had to ask the bar member to return to the bar(as he was sitting eating chips at a nearby table) told me that’s how the beer should be.which is incorrect....

Came for Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day - pub is really nice and good atmosphere. Must have been understaffed though as the food took 90 minutes to come. The roast itself was nice, but nothing amazing.

I booked in for Mother’s day, and despite being very busy we still had great service from Ash and Joe. The roast lamb was fantastic, I hope it becomes a regular addition to the menu!
