The food was absolutely exquisite, with every dish crafted to perfection. Each bite was full of rich, balanced flavors, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, anticipating my needs without being intrusive.

We had a lovely experience today. We had a good size table for 7 of us allowing plenty of room to spread out. Our meal was excellent as was the service. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return.

I go here most Fridays for a glass of wine and if they have no large parties I use the restaurant on a Saturday evening. They have partioned the dining room and it makes a lovely space to eat in as had been a bit on an echo in the past. Food is very good and staff super friendly. It's a real oasis of calm and comfort.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder in London und TOLL, dass wir hier auch unseren OpenTable-Account nutzen können. Diesen Restaurant war genau das, was wir über OpenTable finden wollten. Also der beste Einstieg um einen Kurzurlaub genießen zu können. Es gab nichg sehr viel Auswahl. Aber die Gericht wurden frisch zubereiten und waren sehr lecker. Die Preise waren London-entsprechend gut. Für Kurzurlauber oder Hungriege, die gutes Essen erwarten ist es eine prima Empfelung.

Food is at best average. Pizza express is next door, would get better food there. Waitress is lovely, but managerial staff poor.

Duck salad and sea bass were outstanding. Onion soup was very good. Service was quick and attentive. Ambience was lovely. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

I spotted Scoff & Banter from a taxi back to my hotel at Glocester Road, checked it out on Open Table, thought it looked smart and the name implied fun What wasn't clear is that S&B is a hotel restaurant (Radisson).not a stand alone venue. On arrival, it was clearly a bit less 'special' than we expected, and a bit characterless. No piano bar, and not much atmosphere. Service was excellent though- courteous and efficient, pleasant staff. Food was OK for a hotel restaurant, but only OK. Limited selection, which is good. A short wine list, which is also good and a fair range to suit the menu and most tastes. If I was staying at this hotel, I'd eat in a fair bit but if I wanted a good, authentic restaurant- I'd probably head out

We gathered that the food during the year is excellent however the Christmas Day gourmet lunch was poor and very overpriced. That said, we were lucky to get anywhere on Christmas Day and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Excellent food in very pleasant surroundings. Service very good, and the staff managed my wife's dietary issues very well (particular thanks to our waitress, who was a young lady from Iran.) It was quite expensive, but this might well be 'normal for London'.

This restaurant has zero vibe and lacks style and atmosphere. It's a large white space with a lot of tables thrown into it. We all thought it resembled a school dining hall. The food and service was good. Nothing bad, nothing great. With so much to choose from in London you can do better. Keep looking.

Just want to try something lite and ordered fish and chip for wife and a classic hamburger for myself. The restaurant is very clean with nice street view and the wait staff Maheshkumar was very friendly and tentative. Highly recommend this place. Definitely will revisit here next time when we have a chance to stay in London.

We had a lovely Sunday Roast experience on a Sunday of course! Very polite and good service. The food was very good and the aged prime rib was wonderful. Lovely setting and dining ambience.

I had a table pre-booked. Quite early hours for dinner. Upon arrival - we were sat in the very corner of the restaurant despite the restaurant being rather quiet. By the time we left at 6.30ish the restaurant had 3 more tables occupied, so I expected to be sat at a nice table for two, one that is not in the furthest corner possible! Straight away I am disappointed. The food was OK, onion soup clearly too watery. My main which was pasta - dry on the outside meaning it was sat for some time for the pasta to dry out in such manner. Ordered a drink with two blocks of ice - I was served the drink with 3 ... The only good thing was the desserts. Slow and quite average. I expected more!

The special birthday afternoon tea I booked for 6 of us was very beautifully presented. We chose the option with prosecco which was £42 per head. The food was delicious but I am very unhappy with the charging for extra tea. I have NEVER been charged for additional tea when having an expensive afternoon tea. One of the party did not even have a hot drink, but we were still charged when 3 of us wanted more tea. And service charge added. Not great value.

Wandered in to this spot on a whim for dinner and were seated immediately. We didn't have any particular expectations but were blown away by the food. We had the lamb and the tortellini followed by a sticky toffee pudding and all were so good that we considered returning the next night to try other menu items.

We had a lovely meal here last night. The food was good quality, the noise levels quiet which was ideal. The stand out part of the evening though was the service - the staff were very friendly and attentive and made sure our evening was great. Thank you for a lovely meal and experience.

Started with the cured salmon, was amazing, high quality cured salmon that they didn’t have to over prepare. I had the lamb chops and wife had Sea Bass. Lamb chops were probably the best prepared lamb chops I’ve had in years, and it’s something I order regularly, wife agreed. And her Seabass was great, she would only share a small bite.

We had booked in advance and were looking forward to our visit. We were greeted and shown to our table, the service was very attentive and cannot be faulted. Two of our party ordered fish and chips, when the order arrived both fish were very over done, close to burnt! We brought this to the staffs attention, the main person at first claiming this was down to a 'change of cooking oil!' They were sent back which meant some of us were eating while others waited for there food. All in all staff are good, the chef should not have sent out burnt food and no reimbursement was offered.

We booked and received confirmation of the fact that we needed Wheelchair access for 7 people and had a cancellation at the last minute We phoned to adjust the reservation and we were told that they had no reservation for us So I sent them a copy of the reservation and then they told me that they were not wheelchair accessible and did not have the reservation so they could not help us And had no options for us

Quiet on a Sunday afternoon but the staff were helpful. The tea arrived but wasn't terribly hot and once that finished there was no second pot. The staff did bring extra hot water on request but again it wasn't terribly hot. The sandwiches, scones and cakes were adequate but the scones were small. The tea overall was adequate but I won't be going back.

Till now, best dinner in our trip. The wine was good, the tortellini was amazing. My wife's fish was tasty. Or waiter was very attentive and courteous. The sticky pudding at the end coronated the night. Everything went perfect. It is an excellent option in London. Since they have other items in the menu, we will come back for more.

Disappointment We were very disappointed with this establishment. Food ok but unfriendly service. There are many establishments in the area that are worth stopping by. As for this one….go on your way

We went before going to a concert at the Albert Hall so we’re surprised that the restaurant was so empty.; when we arrived there seemed more staff than guests! The food was mostly very nice (except for the uncooked fried) when it came… the difficulty was ensuring that what we ordered is what was written down!!! Nearly everything was written down incorrectly and the waiter didn’t know what stick was in the French onion soup. He said it was basically chicken soup with onions. Excellent rack of lamb - lamb chops - and the sea bass was also good but very small. Don’t ask for lemon tea or hot mint for that matter. There were so many instances that reminded us of Fawlty Towers but the best was asking for the bill… and then “do you have a card machine?” Reply “yes” and then he walked off to deal with another table. Did you enjoy is asked the manager… “it was an experience”, I replied.

Excellent food and cosy environment. It does not look like a hotel restaurant. Nice to come with family, even better during the Restaurant Week, in which you have promotion of two or three courses at affordable price.

Nous avions choisi ce restaurant car nous étions en groupe. Un des convives n’a pu venir et le restaurant a été prévenu en avance. Contrairement ce qui nous a été dit au moment de l’annulation du repas, celui ci nous a été facturé. Salle de restaurant froide et sans âme. Nourriture ok. Personnel distant et peu aimable. Passez votre chemin il y a dans le quartier des établissements de bien meilleure qualité avec du personnel bien plus sympa!

Went for a Sunday roast and booked well in advance. They had none left so settled for fish and chips which wasn’t the best. The room was cold with no atmosphere. Waited for 40 minutes for the food to arrive. We went here as we were staying at the hotel next door.

Advertised 20% off a La carte on the website but did not honour once we arrived. Also wouldn’t allow us to have the set menu that’s advertised either. However… food was fabulous, server seemed very unsure of names of drinks and not too swift (but very friendly and attentive) - management was disappointing regarding the offers.

First time ever a restaurant has taken true notice of a personal request made at point of booking to accommodate deafness. Our host Aadi even turned the nearest music speaker off without being asked. Blown away! Couldn’t fault the service either as we asked for speedy delivery of both courses. A la carte menu was innovative and everything we chose was really tasty. Smoked salmon, duck salad, and baked aubergine. Will return!

A few footsteps away from Gloucester Road tube station, you may well stumble across the unassuming entrance to the Radisson Bleu hotel. Inside, you will find a delightful Scoff and Banter restaurant from which I can highly recommend the great value set menu, which I had booked in advance. I was warmly welcomed by Mahesh, who attended to my every need through the evening. I really appreciated his diligence and attention to detail. I enjoyed the French Onion Soup, followed by the Norwegian Cod and the Eton Mess dessert. The portions were generous, especially the 🍨 dessert, unlike some other restaurants whose set menu portions leave you wanting. All in all, I enjoyed a relaxed dinner that rounded off a pretty hectic Saturday. 😃

Very nice spot for an early dinner after visiting the nearby museums. The fish and chips were simply excellent, flaky and perfectly cooked. The onion soup had wonderful flavour. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

We arrived for a birthday lunch on 29.08 at 14.45 and were told „you are not allowed „ to eat at a window table in the restaurant! We made a reservation 3 months in advance and received the most unwelcoming, unaccomodating, inflexible, rude response.they were happy to let us leave without finding a more comfortable and suitable table and didn’t even say goodbye! Have never experienced such rudeness!! Shocking

Away from the busy museum streets, a large open space with a fabulous menu. Children’s menu was great value and the food great. Service was impeccable with very attentive staff. Really enjoyed out late lunch and only a stone’s throw from Gloucester Rd and South Kensington stations.

We had a great time at Scoff & Banter. Started with the delicious French onion soup. Got the tortellini cacio e pepe (a little too rich for us) and the sea bass. Service was kind and prompt. A lovely birthday treat was included as well. Great value for the price.

A discreet venue on Cromwell Road, about 5-minute walk from Gloucester Road tube. a quiet venue for Sunday lunch. The food was good and the drinks were well made - the non-alcoholic ginger cocktail was delicious.

We were hungry and keen to eat, but there was no interest from the bar tenders or waiters to assist and help to find a free table or organise one. Never come back to this place again. Really indifferent attitude from the staff.

Nice restaurant. The food was a bit cool when we got it. Bearing mind I like my vegetable’s only just done, we received some very small carrots, with the mushroom wellington, that were hard to cut because they were so underdone. Wellington was nice. The Seabass was tasty but very small portion half fillet, with a rocket salad (which was rocket and shaved radish). Had to buy accompaniments separately so overall not such good value.

Great Sunday lunch with service to match.

Helpful staff, food was good, desserts were delicious, nicely decorated dining/bar area. The one thing that I really didn't like was that neither of our main dishes had any sauce/purée to accompany them, which personally I think is an important part of a dish, I have eaten in several restaurants of the same price range or higher, and this is the first time I have come across this. If you expect some type of liquid with your food you'll be disappointed, I queried this and the only dish that had an accompaniment was the steak. I did feel like the staff thought I was very weird and didn't seem to understand what I meant, I of course didn't mean I wanted to drown the food with a boat of gravy which they seemed to think.

Located in Radisson building at Gloucester Road with a separate entrance up half a flight of stairs. On entry is the bar area with a more informal Set up. As it was lunch they seated me at the bar seating. There is a more formal seating area in the next room which looked all set up for the evening dining. A number of menus: the Ala carte and the euro 24 menu. Choose for the Ala carte as the euro 24 menu was fixed items. The duck salad starter was not crispy as noted by its name: Crispy duck salad! The salad greens did not suit the dish as was too bitter added to the pomegranate and the grape fruit. Shredded or pulled duck meat was average. All in all an average dish. Service was average.

Really lovely food in a nice dining hall. Was especially nice to receive a small dessert for my birthday.

There seem to be a lot of staff doing nothing . We had to ask 3 times for some water ! A little chaotic and needs better management. The young lad who served us seemed to be the only person doing anything. Food was ok . Service charge is apparently not discretionary either we were told it had to be paid ! Sorry can’t recommend until you sort out the service staff.

I did my research to find a nice restaurant for lunch close to the Royal Albert Hall. Location was good and when we walked in I appreciated the style and decor, but there was no atmosphere, the waiters looked bored with no enthusiasm to welcome or take your order and the food was so bland. My chicken was served with six tiny squares of rosemary potatoes (a sprig of rosemary being a reminder, as the potatoes had no flavour of rosemary) and the rest of the plate was filled with rocket which added the most flavour to the plate! So disappointing as it was a special day out. Won’t return and can’t recommend.
