The special birthday afternoon tea I booked for 6 of us was very beautifully presented. We chose the option with prosecco which was £42 per head. The food was delicious but I am very unhappy with the charging for extra tea. I have NEVER been charged for additional tea when having an expensive afternoon tea. One of the party did not even have a hot drink, but we were still charged when 3 of us wanted more tea. And service charge added. Not great value.

Wandered in to this spot on a whim for dinner and were seated immediately. We didn't have any particular expectations but were blown away by the food. We had the lamb and the tortellini followed by a sticky toffee pudding and all were so good that we considered returning the next night to try other menu items.

The food was good und the service fine. But!! One thing made this experience rather negative. I ordered fish and chips und it came on a plate with some kind of "paper" sheet. The purpose of that sheet is unknown because it doesn't take the excess oil or fat (what would be logical with the dish). The paper sheet was covered with plastic! Probably polyethylene. And as a result of cutting on it it becomes worn and you eat peaces of plastic with your food!! But you realise it only at the end... As a person who's studying medicine I can definitely say it is not healthy to eat plastic!!

Till now, best dinner in our trip. The wine was good, the tortellini was amazing. My wife's fish was tasty. Or waiter was very attentive and courteous. The sticky pudding at the end coronated the night. Everything went perfect. It is an excellent option in London. Since they have other items in the menu, we will come back for more.

A few footsteps away from Gloucester Road tube station, you may well stumble across the unassuming entrance to the Radisson Bleu hotel. Inside, you will find a delightful Scoff and Banter restaurant from which I can highly recommend the great value set menu, which I had booked in advance. I was warmly welcomed by Mahesh, who attended to my every need through the evening. I really appreciated his diligence and attention to detail. I enjoyed the French Onion Soup, followed by the Norwegian Cod and the Eton Mess dessert. The portions were generous, especially the 🍨 dessert, unlike some other restaurants whose set menu portions leave you wanting. All in all, I enjoyed a relaxed dinner that rounded off a pretty hectic Saturday. 😃

We arrived for a birthday lunch on 29.08 at 14.45 and were told „you are not allowed „ to eat at a window table in the restaurant! We made a reservation 3 months in advance and received the most unwelcoming, unaccomodating, inflexible, rude response.they were happy to let us leave without finding a more comfortable and suitable table and didn’t even say goodbye! Helpful staff, food was good, desserts were delicious, nicely decorated dining/bar area. The one thing that I really didn't like was that neither of our main dishes had any sauce/purée to accompany them, which personally I think is an important part of a dish, I have eaten in several restaurants of the same price range or higher, and this is the first time I have come across this. If you expect some type of liquid with your food you'll be disappointed, I queried this and the only dish that had an accompaniment was the steak. I did feel like the staff thought I was very weird and didn't seem to understand what I meant, I of course didn't mean I wanted to drown the food with a boat of gravy which they seemed to think.

Located in Radisson building at Gloucester Road with a separate entrance up half a flight of stairs. On entry is the bar area with a more informal Set up. As it was lunch they seated me at the bar seating. There is a more formal seating area in the next room which looked all set up for the evening dining. A number of menus: the Ala carte and the euro 24 menu. Choose for the Ala carte as the euro 24 menu was fixed items. The duck salad starter was not crispy as noted by its name: Crispy duck salad! The salad greens did not suit the dish as was too bitter added to the pomegranate and the grape fruit. Shredded or pulled duck meat was average. All in all an average dish. Service was average.

The decor of the restaurant is lovely but I was so disappointed with the service. There were only five tables occupied and we had to wait ages to be served. The seabass was a total rip off at £18, a small piece of fish with some miserable looking leaves. We ordered fries to go with it and they forgot so after reminding them (couldn’t even get their attention for ages to do this) had to wait 20 minutes for the fries to arrives and our dinner went cold. It was impossible to get the waiters attention. Thought they had a nerve adding a service charge which I asked them to remove! Lovely venue but terrible service and v average food! Not worth the money.

Only had breakfast here and it wasn't great. One rude staff member welcomed me and immediately resat me in a horrible table without asking. Breakfast is the set London Edwardian, but having ate in all of them, this is definetly below standard. Eggs cooked incorrectly, bacon poorly served in the bainmarie. Beans cold, messy table layout of the cold food. Again not terrible, just poor when compared to the other Edwardian. one day there was a bus group that made getting a table impossible (I ate elsewhere even having breakfast included)

The salad for the first course and the cheesecake for dessert were rather mediocre both in presentation and flavour. The main, the lemon sole, however was atrocious. A large blob of fish swimming in a gloopy sauce that covered the plate from edge to edge. Three very sad and over cooked asparagus were drowning in that glutinous sauce. It really was inedible. Extremely disappointing dining experience. Didn’t feel very festive at all. Barely any decorations and such a shame as the building has so much potential. We had the festive menu priced at £42 per person. The main course featuring roast turkey was very small, resembling a child's portion rather than a proper serving. The lack of flavour in the turkey, coupled with its dry texture, left much to be desired. The accompanying gravy tasted like water, and the three miniature potatoes served were black on the inside. The overall impression was that of a hastily reheated microwave meal. The restaurant have ignored my complaints and have not even given me the courtesy of a reply. I’ve had better food at McDonald’s!

The service was incredibly slow, in spite of the fact that the restaurant was almost empty (we were eating early after a show at the Albert Hall). Having asked twice for the kids menus, I had to get up and try to find them myself. Likewise with the salt and pepper. It took an age for anyone to come and take our order. The food was tasty enough, but for a restaurant in that price bracket, it was staggering that they didn't offer any alcohol-free options for drinks. Additionally, as somewhere that's child-friendly, very surprising that they didn't offer any starters for kids, and we had to make do with two outrageously overpriced (and undersized) slices of baguette. The dessert was similarly tiny and came nowhere close to being value for money (the black forest trifle was actually a thin, dry disc of sponge about two inches across, with four blobs of cream and two cherries cut in half - avoid). Having not finished our main courses, we asked if we could take the leftovers in a doggy bag. We were told the restaurant didn't do that. We had to insist and a receptacle was found, but it really shouldn't be this hard. What should have been a perfectly nice meal, if nothing to write home about, became a bit of slog.

I had a great experience here. The food was excellent 👌 , and our waiter was just wonderful —so friendly and really made sure we were taken care of.

We went for a local music performance in the basement venue, so didn't try the food and there's no service down there. The venue is small so you are pretty close to whoever is performing even at the back, but it's super narrow and if crowded it's hard to move around and definitely no room to dance if that type of music. Overall cute space but depends what you're there to see

We hired the cellar out for my wife's birthday party and had about 35 guests. Perfect setting with great food and drinks. Cellar has plenty of space and staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Couldn't recommend anymore!

6* Absolutely amazing restaurant located in Kensington. Came here a couple of times previously and unfortunately they were fully booked, tried our luck again and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in.(BE WARNED- if you haven't booked you'll be lucky to get in, definitely so at peak times). The menu looked great, rustic English fare.We went for stilton mousse and cheese and leek tart for starters followed by rump of lamb and fish pie. The food was faultless. Every dish tasted gorgeous. The wine (just went for Malbec and Chablis by the glass) was very nice too. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and romantic with a very rural theme. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. Overall we had a great time and I'm so glad we were able to get a table. We'd both like to go again, soon. My thanks to the gentlemen on the door, they were very busy so I didn't get chance to get his name (owner, manager, maitre d, greeter?) But he was amazing and a real credit to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
