This is a lovely spot to eat, excellent quality produce, delicious meals and a relaxed atmosphere. They brought my daughter a birthday crimble too! Such nice people. 😊Seemed very popular on a Sunday morning so you might want to book.

Nice and warmth welcome to our new neighborhood. Our first stop in this small and cozy restaurant with a blackboard on the wall with the specialties. We loved everything we ordered, finishing with a delicious cheesecake and a sticky pudding. Fiona is a charming lady!

Breakfast was excellent and the 2 ladies very lovely!

You MUST stop by to see Ffiona if you are in town. We first ate there over 15 years ago and we had such a great time that we just went back recently. Ffiona takes the time to read the menu and hang out with you. She is a true gem. And the food is simply amazing. Give it a try if you are in town!

As a food influencer I come to many many restaurants; that being said it is not a fancy breakfast place, it wont be aesthetically for your instagram. BUT you will have an amazing experience, the servers are so kind and considerate. I dont like busy places so when i looked a little frightened the waiter gave me a nice spot in the back. Really really good food, very English interior. Overal recommended highly.

This place looks cute with quaint knickknacks decorating the very tiny restaurant, but the food is just OK and completely overpriced for what you get. It seems almost all the people there are from out of town and coming there for the first time perhaps because of some of the good (?!) reviews I see on Google and perhaps because it looks cute from outside. We were there for brunch, so perhaps other meals are different, but I really felt like we were rushed during our 45 minute brunch even though the place was not even a quarter full. (Nearing the end of our meal, they even sat another couple at the same table as us - so strange). The food was OK, but portions were tiny and it was very basic for the price. I think there are better places to go for breakfast or brunch.

My husband, son, and I visited Ffiona’s on a Sunday evening. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, atmosphere, and food at this establishment. It not only tasted like a true home-cooked meal, but I felt as if I were part of the family. I was sad to leave once we finished our meal. It’s both family-friendly and absolutely lovely. We will all be returning, and I will always recommend it.

Originally, we were hesitant to come here because of the recent reviews, but the fact that the owner is actively involved in the restaurant convinced us to give it a try. We visited with our 5-year-old, and it's definitely a kid-friendly place. The staff is welcoming, and the food is absolutely incredible! They make you feel at home, and the food reflects that cozy, home-cooked vibe. We ordered the Sunday roast, and it tasted like Grandma herself had made it! Give it a try—you won’t be disappointed!

I once stopped by for an early dinner. Having spent decades in this neighbourhood I’d never tried this popular place. They said they were fully booked but could offer me a table if I would finish in an hour and a half. That seemed reasonable. They gave me a table for 6. I ordered on the spot. A young couple, clearly tourists, came in. They seemed very keen to dine at Ffiona’s. They declined the couple despite there being 5 vacant seats at my table. I requested them to offer the couple seats at my table if they were willing to share a table. They told me off. I was quite shocked as this defies the ethos of hospitality. They told me off again, this time more aggressively. I found their response unreasonable and inappropriate. At that moment I was a guest. I offered them two choices: I pay my bill and walk out without dining, or I don’t pay my bill and walk out without dining. They chose the latter. Never again. There are many better choices near this place.

Good food! Good atmosphere and vibe. Decor was unique. They were super nice and good customer service. Will definitely return. Didn't have a reservation so if you plan to go make sure you have one to avoid disappointment.

Ffiona’s is a must for any good evening out. Ffiona and her team are an absolute pleasure and the food is fantastic. The chicken Kiev, Sunday roasts, prawns, colcannon, and sticky toffee pudding are favorites, but everything is delicious. She has vegan and gluten free options as well. Family run and magical. Ffiona is a neighborhood legend and you’ll instantly know why the minute you walk into the door.

A+. Terrific homemade food served with warmth and professionalism including, as a special bonus, some chat time with Ffiona herself. Easily one of the best and most memorable meals of the year! (Sorry there are no photos. I ate every delicious thing in sight so quickly that I totally forgot to take any. but the lamb was life changing as were the squash, the chips, and both the aubergine fritter and shrimp appetizers.)

Was there several years ago, but we had a really good time. Our kids enjoyed it too. Update: visited again after 8 years (it's hard to get to England, and there was a pandemic). Fiona was as charming as we remembered, and we had a fantastic time. The food was the best we've had anywhere; our 13 year old daughter who dislikes most adult foods loved the vegan noodles. The trout was superb. Great vegan food. Wonderful fish and chips. The cocktails were amazing, especially the mojito. And the desserts... We ordered one of everything, and everyone had a different favorite - but it was hard to pick. If you want a place where the owner sits down at the table to discuss the menu and your order, where you feel like a member of the family, this is the place. It's small, and intimate, and fun. We can't recommend it highly enough.

I liked the restaurant itself, a proper homely place. Sadly, the roast dinner was pretty terrible - watery gravy, old potatoes, very little flavour/seasoning. Probably should have ordered a breakfast, which looked decent.

We went to Ffiona’s for dinner. The restaurant was full and busy but staff were lovely and service was great. Food was traditional, tasty and there were vegan options. We decided to book for brunch the next day because of our experience at dinner and we weren’t disappointed. I would highly recommend Ffiona’s!

I watched a YouTube video on this place, and instantly booked a reservation. I was looking forward to this meal very much. The space was cramped, and I am claustrophobic, but that is my problem, not theirs. The first part of the meal was tremendous. The Chicken Kyiv is, quite possibly, the best in the world. The steak was magnificent. The garlic spinach was ok, and the roasted carrots were great. We asked for bread, and it was delivered to the wrong table, but that was neither here nor there. Then, we ordered a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The pudding had a burnt taste that my wife and I both tasted immediately. The outside of the pudding had a burnt flavor. The inside was good. We ate around the dish, leaving the edges. I asked the owner’s sister, who was running front of house, if it was supposed to have the burnt flavor, and she told me, yes, that it is toffee and caramel. I have lived in the UK. I have visited several times. This dessert is a favorite of mine. I’ve probably had hundreds. I told her that this wasn’t the taste of caramel or toffee, but a burnt flavor. She told me it couldn’t have that taste, because she made it herself. I don’t like being talked down to. Maybe, as an American, she thought that my maybe my palate wasn’t refined enough. After she took away what we didn’t eat (no offer of a second go at it or possibly another dessert), I walked outside before I said something I shouldn’t have. My wife paid the bill and the optional service charge, and we left. I have eaten everywhere around the world. I am polite (knowing how some Americans can be), I tip even when it’s not customary, and I give honest feedback. I wanted Ffiona’s to be a regular stop for us in London. Sadly, I doubt I will be back. The chicken Kyiv cannot overcome the experience over the dessert. Ffiona’s was so close to being memorable, but the aftertaste of the dessert and the condescending tone ruined it.

We love this local restaurant. Whenever we are in London, we go to Ffiona’s and it never disappoints. We had 7 people last week and shared several entrees. The chicken kiev and lamb were wonderful, and the fish & chips are classic. Even if you’re full after dinner, don’t pass up the deserts. If you’re looking for great British food, and a friendly environment, Ffiona’s is the place.

The only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars is the price and lack of transparency on the menu. The food itself is good but no where near worth what we paid for.. lamb- £35, cod- £28, chicken pie-£25.. yea chicken pie for £25.. no sides which are not on the menu, but you’ll see £10 for chips on the bill at the end.. daylight robbery. This place is not a Michelin star restaurant. Venue is nice, food was good but I’m never coming back here to pay £150 for a meal. There’s a lot of hard selling where you almost feel forced to order more. Really poor service.

Food was great and the service even better! Kind and attentive. We had the Lamb and the steak, delicious. And for dessert we shared a cheesecake! Gluten free too. Plenty of gluten free options ( must not be fried, as there is cross contamination) No picture of the mains as we were super hungry🤣.

Just want to say a huge thankyou to all at Ffionas for making our 20th wedding anniversary night very special. We are from up north and were in London for a break away and I did a lot of research as to where to eat.... as you can imagine there is a lot to choose from. I found this little gem of a restaurant and we were not disappointed. The staff are lovely , warm and welcoming.... exactly what we were after. The food was fantastic, the chicken Kiev.... wow wow wow. Scallops, gorgeous, chicken and leek pie, yummy. Desserts , beautiful. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks again. ❤️

Small cute restaurant with homemade food / real food, and gluten free options and bread.

So happy we found this Kensington gem! Cozy wonderful place to have brunch. Claudia our server was lovely. The fruity fizz proseco drinks with fresh-squeezed OJ and the Bloody Mary with homemade horseradish got us off to a great start. The Vegetarian Breakfast, Queen's Scramble, and Chorizo and Sweet Potato Hash were excellent. And we topped it off with out-of-this-world French Toast with whipped cream, fresh fruit, and toffee syrup that we shared among the table. Will have to return to try all the dinner options!

Delicious food with a great host! Loved the lamb, trout, and duck. Wonderful mash potatoes and sides.

Everything was delicious, we had toast with eggs Benedict, avocado and really tasty humus; It's also incredible that they managed to make the gluten free version so good. The pancakes were also excellent, different from the Italian ones, perhaps a little too greasy for my tastes but we brushed them off anyway. The service is welcoming, the lady (who I think is the cook's sister) is very kind and helpful. Well done.

Large Vegan selection. Owner personally meets guests and may sit and chat. She accommodated my special dietary needs with no complications, and the food was WONDERFUL!

We were so glad to have found this little treasure whilst we were on holidays. The food, portion sizes, etc were all excellent. The owner seemed to be in her element, she loved taking care of people and we overheard her training staff on the new computer system. She cared for her customers as well as her staff. This place is outstanding and we will be coming back here again!

Its the most cute place ever in its most humble hearted versión with the BEST food. And all they have that real human smile to own the place.

Salad without dressing for £20, rotten fruit with the French toast and Coke Zero on tap that mainly consisted of ice cubes instead of coke. Musty furnishings.

We were lucky enough to find Ffiona’s for a perfect friends birthday celebration; we all raved about our entrees, appetizers and desserts! Ffiona herself was warm and welcoming in a small family like atmosphere. It has been the best meal we have had in London. Simply outstanding

We walked past Ffiona's and on a whim decided to see if they take walk ins, we were lucky and they cleaned up a table and we were seated by the door. Prices were fair for Kensington, the food quality was amazing and the portion size was excellent. The apple juice was cloudy which is my favourite, so they clearly do not skimp on the food side. The atmosphere was generally calm and collective, but there was one teenager whom I think could win "Loudest Talker of the Year". Sadly the service wasn't brilliant. We had long waits for the service side of things. The drinks and food came quickly after ordering, but ordering took a while, which is unusual since there were 3 staff members to 8 odd tables. There was a large wait for the bill, as we asked the gentlemen who seemed to forget so we had to ask twice. The older female waitress was adorable, she was so lovely, polite and warm. She did however had to clarify what we ordered so she could create a bill, and sadly she put on the service charge twice. She apologised and we know it was a mistake, so no worries. A big annoyance, which is arguably a good thing for Ffiona's is... we were sat by the door, and about every 5 minutes a group would walk in asking if they had any tables. Which they didn't as they were all reserved (we were lucky), just it wore thin by the 6th-7th time it happened. However, we are very glad that there is demand for such a great place. The excellent food, warmth of the older waitress, lovely decor and warm atmosphere would give Ffiona's a 5/5, sadly there were some minor issues which could be easily rectified. I would recommend and return.

Cafe F-Fiona's in London deserves high praise for their exceptional hospitality and delicious offerings. Despite not having a reservation, they graciously accommodated me for brunch, which I'm truly thankful for, especially as a first-time visitor to London. The hostess greeted me with warmth and politeness, setting the tone for a delightful dining experience. The ambiance of the cafe was enchanting, with charming decorations and perfect lighting that enhanced the dining atmosphere. As for the English Breakfast, it was nothing short of amazing—I savored every last bite. I highly recommend Cafe F-Fiona's for breakfast or brunch, but do yourself a favor and make a reservation in advance to avoid any unexpected waits. Learn from my experience—don't be like me!

Food is fresh and flavorful!! Has something for everyone and they will adjust ingredients if needed.

This has to be the freshest most delicious meal I have ever eaten. The hand ground hand rolled meatballs atop the hand spiraled beet and vegetable noodles with a to die for handmade sauce definitely the best in London Every one should have the first meal hear and guarantee it won’t be the only one you eat here. Service was top notch.

A fantastic little restaurant. I went in for brunch with friends and had a mimosa, latte, one of the best french toast ever and their pancakes looked amazing. Unfortunately we were running late but they were accommodating. Looks like it’s run by the owners but can’t be sure. A little local treasure!

Amazing venue, intimate friendly and the most personal experience in London for being looked after. The brunch is off the scale and the roasts some of the very best in London.

Lovely brunch spot 👌🏼 nice family vibe inside and quaint. This is the kind of place you can go on a rainy day and feel nice and warm inside. Staff were wonderful and friendly and worked to accommodate us. The meals were spot on with everything tasting fresh and delicious. It can get a little toasty inside so be prepared to remove layers if it’s a cold day.

We wanted to classic full English breakfast and that’s what we got (we ordered it without black pudding). It was a great, rich breakfast. The English breakfast tea and coffee were good as well. The service was really nice. They also mentioned a vegan special with selfmade hummus and avocado.

I came yesterday for brunch with my partner and the staff were super nice and so welcoming. There was a slight error with our booking but the staff kept apologising and we could tell the owners were amazing, lovely people. The food was superb, we both enjoyed our time thoroughly and would definitely recommend this amazing spot for brunch.

Ffiona is a delight as well as the atmosphere and the food. Never has it ever disappointed. Every time I travel close to this destination, I will be dining here for sure! Update 2024!! Had the Sunday roast...pork was my selection. Didn't leave hungry for sure but did leave with a huge smile, a happy wife and a great Ffiona hug. So look forward to the next time I enter the front door ;)

Not only do they provide gluten free alternatives, but the food is great too! They do get full sometimes, so try to book a reservation in advance (at least by the day before going) :)

Loved this restaurant and Fiona! The food was fabulous. We had the chicken Kyiv (best in the world…for sure), fish and chips, mashed potatoes and Brussel sprouts for dinner. All so, so delish. But then, the sticky toffee dessert with vanilla ice cream. Only regret is that we shared one. I could have eaten my own! Fiona was lovely and gave us advice on restaurants and places to visit. Her staff was lovely and attentive. The restaurant is very cozy with a fresh flower arrangement on each table. If I could give 6 or more stars I would! I will definitely go back here. Enjoy!!!

We’ve been here because recommended for breakfast / brunch, we took breakfast and it was great ! Very calm and relaxful atmosphere, very friendly service and good quantity and quality !

Never have we ever felt more welcome in any restaurant. Felt like old friends from the very beginning of our short stay. It’s a small place but the fact that you’re sitting close to the other guests just adds to the atmosphere. We had turkey (a special that wasn’t on the menu) and a very nice pinot noir to follow up, two deserts and a cocktail for starters. All served by the best young waiters you could wish for. We highly recommend Fiona’s.

Very expensive! Unbelievable that anyone would give this place more than 1 star. Bland and overpriced food. £27 for a 1 course mediocre chicken roast dinner. I wouldn’t recommend - there are so many other brilliant restaurants nearby.

Fiona was shockingly rude, and the food was good, but nothing special and certainly doesn’t warrant the prices. I would have left, but I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. I could write so much more, but that about sums it up, and I do not want to spend another minute thinking about our experience.

I struggled with myself whether to give this place one or two stars. But have to be honest as I had a real aversion to Ffiona's and felt that I wanted to run out the moment I was in there. It was pitch black inside with only candle lighting. The menu was written on a black-board and there was no menu given out at tables. Old fashioned hand-written receipts and very standard semi-cold fare! Have to try and find some good points here, as one of waitresses was smiling and pleasant. But didn't think it was worth ridiculous price!

Went for brunch with my family on Saturday lunchtime before visiting an exhibition at Kensington Palace. I had the vegetarian breakfast along with a lunchtime Bloody Mary. The food was plentiful, with a variety of items, and wonderfully cooked. I enjoyed it very much. However the Bloody Mary was something else, it really was the BEST BLOODY MARY I HAVE EVER TASTED and I consider myself a bit of an expert having tried many over the years. I told Fiona this and she asked me if I would personally say this to the lovely young guy who had just learned to make them, which I did of course. I thanked them both very much as they are made to Fiona 's exclusive secret recipe. If you love Bloody Mary's you must try Ffionas along with some of their excellent food and fantastic service.

We celebrated our 25 th anniversary at Ffiona’s, and it did not disappoint! The ambience is cozy, the staff are attentive and helpful, and Ffiona herself is a force of nature. We had the paté as a starter, then the fish stew and the chicken kyev(lives up to its reputation as”best in the world”) and finished sharing bread and butter pudding and the lemon cheesecake . Every bite, a delight. If you don’t go here, you’ll miss something very special !

If you find a space, just go! Often jam packed, this little gem of café is enchanting by its cosy packed atmosphere, friendly staff and hearty cooking. English breakfast as it should be with sourdiught bread and the delicious edemame baked beans in a home made tomatoes sauce. The whole for a very affordable price. You'll be full of energy after this to scroll through Kensington!

I stumbled upon Ffiona’s on a walk while visiting London and could quickly tell I accidentally found a true neighborhood gem. Everyone there was a regular and the owner(I presume), Fiona, seemed to recognize everyone who was there. The food was amazing and the service was great, so kind and inviting. When the people I sat around learned it was my first time they assured me I’d made a good choice in spontaneous dining. Definitely a new favorite spot in London.

I have been going to Ffiona’s since it was first recommended to me by a flight attendant in 2016. Dinner or brunch… solo or with family or friends … my meals are always a highlight of my trips to London. The food is consistent great - don’t miss the lamb (so good), the fish stew, the aubergine fritters, the parmesan greens salad, and any special - dinner or brunch. Save room for dessert - fly away light as air cheesecake, bread and butter pudding with custard, or sticky toffee pudding. You’ll often be greeted by Ffiona herself - ask her about her curated menu. My Wife and I were walking around London looking for a good place to Eat, and fortunately for us Fiona had a spot for us as we were on the Early side for supper (6ish). Fiona was also a wonderful and personable hostess, the food (lamb + Duck) AMAZING, in a quaint friendly and comfortable atmosphere.

Worse costumer service over the phone! I’ve called called from my work place to make a booking for 6 people that are staying in London guest coming from Sweden. Unfortunately the booking didn’t go through online and I had to call to double check the problem for my guest as they were worried I’ve experienced a very bad experience with the lady over the phone Fiona She was shouting and almost tried to beat me up over the phone for a unknown reason I told her to lower down the voice as she was on the speaker and other hotel guest could her the way she was talking to me she just hung up on me like out of no where she is the rudest and the worse person working in London unofortunely in a restaurant where her place should not be there I am surprised yet she’s not poisoning people as her costumer service is the WORSE I’ve ever ever experienced when trying to book a table For a restaurant. Such a shame she is still there working… I beg everyone to not book that place as the manager I suppose Fiona needs a real costumer service training on how to treat people over the phone and talk to them. Of course make them feel welcome and greatly appreciate She didn’t do that what so ever !!!! The way she spoke to me it’s unacceptable and very unfair as all I tried it was to book a table for the hotel guest. Unfortunately she will need to be reported to HR ASAP!!!!!

Compact to say the least but what it lacked in size it more than made up for with the staff and food. I like a larger portion and was not disappointed. The food was glorious and filling, and considering the location great value for money. We were full to busting until teatime. Go visit now!

Enjoyed some authentic English breakfast here, with maybe the best cappuccino I've had on an eatery in London ! Staff was super friendly and although we didn't have a reservation (was Sunday morning) they managed to find us the perfect spot. A bit on the pricey side but totally worth it, I will revisit soon !
