A lovely dining experience and probably one of top 5 ever, my wife and I are both foodies ❤️. Kat, the manager and her assistant were both friendly and professional. The rail strike took away a bit of the ambiance, yet it gave us more time to chat and to enjoy our romantic evening together. The food, service, wine (Satyr Sauvignon Blanc) were absolutely amazing and great value for money. Kat, offered us a complimentary blood orange dessert that was so delicious. I would certainly recommend Fish Market and the for next time I'm in London.

Amazing experience! The service was outstanding. I had high expectations due to the price and location and I wasn’t disappointed at all. I believe our server’s name was Kelly. He was quite tall and slender. I have a dairy allergy and they took it very seriously. Anything I was served was brought out completely separately on different trays. I ordered the Ali Shan tea which was extremely flavorful and served at the perfect temperature. My wife’s Yunnan Peony tea was very good as well but mine had a more robust flavor that I prefer. The sandwiches were all pretty good as well. Smoked salmon and ham were my favorite. The cucumber sandwich was surprisingly good. I didn’t think I’d like a sandwich with cucumber as the star. The scones were my favorite by far. I could’ve eaten 10 of them if I wasn’t so full from the sandwiches. The service pacing was perfect. Our server was working more tables than the other servers and he was still extremely on top of everything. He asked us if we wanted extra sandwiches and refilled our tea right away when requested. Everything was finished at 1 hour 45 minutes giving us 15 minutes to relax and pay the bill. Atmosphere and decor were just beautiful. It was grand but not overdone. I really enjoyed the live piano. All the staff we interacted with inside were very pleasant as well. The outside doormen could be friendlier though. They were extremely cold. Maybe because we weren’t hotel guests. If you’re worried about dress code, they’re relatively lenient with it. There were people wearing t-shirts, sweatshirts, and polo shirts. No need to dress formal. I’m guessing just no shorts or sandals. We originally wanted to go to Claridge’s but they had a strict dress code requiring jackets for men. I’m very glad we chose the Dorchester in the end. It was posh without being stuffy.

We popped in to make some enquires regarding coming for a pre Christmas lunch, the staff were so welcoming & very helpful with our request.. One of the ladies at reception showed us the restaurant which looked lovely...we came back a bit later to have a drink in the bar, which was lovely, bar staff were polite & equally welcoming. Looking forward to returning soon.

Very little song selections. Several songs would “break” the system and the mics broke twice.

The worst and most expensive roast beef dinner I have had, tough elastic beef, sloppy watery spinach, and god knows what they did to the roast poatoes, black brown and texture of boiled potatoes, a pint of flat warm lemonade from a big plastic bottle, the waitress kept repeating with a scowl that service was not included, I went with a friend after listening to someone famous reminisce about his childhood memories of this place, I understand that it is smack bang in the City of London and assumed that they did not like our appearance and thus the hostile reception and the terrible food. Will never return.

This pub is perfect if you are visit the British museum. It is right opposite the museum and you can eat here after visiting the museum. The food is like in all pubs, I decided to eat Fish and Chips, the traditional meal English and were just as I remembered, bland (yet when I return to London again ask sure).

At the beginning of October we had dinner in the outdoor area of the Balcony restaurant overlooking Covent Garden. We had Seared halibut, Honey roast carrots and Chargrilled vegetables with cheese tard. Everything was wonderful, and I would particularly like to highlight the service, friendly, attentive, professional.
