Absolutely 10 out of 10. I had the chicken Kiev and I loved it will defo return for a roast next . Staff were brilliant to 10 out of 10

Called in for lunch after a bank holiday walk on the common. Pub was not too crowded and we were served at the bar quickly. Two local real ales, both good and well-kept. Food took a short while to arrive while we waited in the sunny garden. My cheddar ploughman's was generous and fresh- how great to get a ploughman's as these seem to have fallen from favour. My wife had a special; prawn, avocado and cream cheese baguette and chips. Again very tasty and generous. We struggled to finish our meals! The only small quibble was the indifference of the bar staff. On arrival we were not "greeted" and indeed the 2 barmen were carrying on a private conversation all the time they were pouring our beers. Efficient, yes, but somewhat lacking in enthusiasm and/or professionalism. Aside from that we would strongly recommend this large semi-rural pub for a good lunch. Value for money too.

Today the family had a birthday party of 13 in penge food was lovely staff where brilliant but most of all the manageress went above her duty by providing everything we needed she was brilliant so thank you to everyone who made it such a fantastic day

Popped in for a pint/s to watch the Arsenal game. Barmaid served 3 people before me then completely ignored me. Left to find a more welcoming pub. (Obviously looking after the locals)

I’ve visited this establishment several times. While the food is decent, the overall atmosphere is consistently uncomfortable. The most concerning issue is how management interacts with staff—often in a way that feels unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. Private conversations are frequently aired in front of customers, which creates an awkward and tense dining experience. Even more concerning is the visible emotional toll this seems to take on staff, especially the waitresses, who sometimes appear distressed and overwhelmed. No employee should have to work in a setting that lacks basic respect and support. If my own daughter worked here, I’d be seriously worried for her well-being. Eden Park, this is something that needs your immediate attention. You can—and should—do better.

An absolute gem of a pub! The staff are incredible; so warm and welcoming, making us feel like family every time we visit. As a parent, I’m quite picky about where I take my child, but this place is fantastic—family-friendly with a great atmosphere. It’s rare to find somewhere that ticks all the boxes for quality food, great service, and a welcoming vibe, but this pub does it effortlessly. Highly recommend!

Michelle was such a lovely waitress. Really friendly and every need was catered for. Had a lovely sunday lunch and will definitely be returning again.

The food is very nasty and burnt to the crisps left a very bad taste in my mouth waste of money I just can't not eat in here anymore I try a few else Ware and just has bad they can't not cook I just come in for a drink and no more

Sugiero que coloquen un gran aviso en la ventana indicando la hora en que se cierra la puerta y la asignación para que los ocupantes de cafés existentes coman los restos de sus alimentos, etc.

Went for a wake, close to beckenham crematorium, hired the function room. Sandwiches and picky food were ok but not worth the amount they charge, staff very moody no condolences etc. Music was awful.

Just had a medium Cod which was cooked to perfection and skin removed which I don't mind either way. They do what looks like a very nice pie & mash Wed thru Sat and must go back to give this a try. Great staff and a great experience as always.

Came here to get some pie and mash for tea. When I got home that nite and wanted to cook it the liquor was a funny colour and smelt funny. It had gone off. So never gettinng from you again
