Fantastic little cosy place with good down to earth home cooked food in a pretty cottage barn restaurant setting. Everything is piping hot, fresh and showcases the best of British. Amazing value for money anywhere not least leafy Chislehurst. All staff are super efficient and friendly and will accommodate your every need. Thank you very much for looking after us five gentlemen today.

Love the Rock and Roll Bingo on a Thursday , great little pub with a great atmosphere with brilliant staff. Love that the customers are all welcoming and also dog friendly!! Will come again :)

This has the potential to be the best restaurant in SE London, but there is a serious lack on ambition on the menu. I have been several times since opening and the food is always well executed, but the menu has evolved at a snails pace and is still essentially a gasto-pub menu. The dining room is well suited to a serve genuine restaurant food, or at least a more 'fine-dining' brasserie menu, which will make the place a destination. Unfortunately, the menu feels like it has been designed by an accountant, not a chef and this means the place won't attract local regulars, nor will it become a 'destination' people travel to. D&M was reviewed by a couple of national newspapers and the money spent on the building means it could become a real gem of a restaurant, but it is lacking atm. The staff all seem friendly, and a particular mention to Jamie, who tempted us to stay for dinner after enjoying a drink on the terrace.

Just like to thank the bar staff today on their excellent service and knowledge about the food and non alcoholic drink for me to try. The food was very good, great to see young people working in the hospitality they will soon have their own pubs to manage. Big Thanks. We will be back again

We are not local to the area and saw the shop and decided to pop in for some pie and mash as not many pie and mash shops local to where we live so we were excited to eat there as don’t get the opportunity to eat pie and mash often. Food was nice, however, went on a Saturday afternoon and shop is advertised online and on the door sign to be open until 4pm.. arrived at 3:10pm ordered food sat down to eat and we felt as though we were being rushed out the door so the staff could get off early.. The staff we saying things to each other such as we’ll be able to go home soon etc etc at 3:30pm we left as we felt we were not welcome and were being rushed out. We got back into our car and saw all staff leave straight after. Attitude of the staff ruined the experience dining there for us!

The goat’s cheese and walnut salad is so good that I even ate it in December. All the food’s good though, the decor is beautiful and the staff are lovely. Back at the salad though - I eat this wherever I go in the world and the Vibe cafe version is the best I’ve ever had by a mile
