Came here with my family, very accommodating for my partially sighted grandmother, food was brilliant and our waitress was lovely! Will be coming back

Visited the Aperfield Inn today for lunch with our long time friends, it was fabulous. We did pre-book but the pub was very well organised, the waitress was exceptional, very polite and courteous. The menu was brilliant with a great choice offering a lunchtime special menu at a bargain price of £17.50 for 2 courses. The wine list was excellent value. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, not too far from Chartwell. Loved it 👍👍

Mid week treat for dad and I lovely evening with wonderful food as always. Hunters chicken got top marks from dad and pie of the day - fish pie - was very tasty. Special mention to our waitress, Jessica, who was lovely, friendly and happy!

We went to the Aperfield for lunch this week after originally going to the Crown where we were told we would have to wait 45 minutes for food. The young lady who served behind the bar was so lovely. We hasd an excellent meal, great value for two courses, piping hot. We will definitely be back. Love this place, but I am still awaiting a refund due to service charge.

Fantastic Sunday dinner. We pre booked with a request to have ample space for a pram as we had two kids with us. We arrived to find we were seated in the perfect spot with plenty of room and not in any ones way. The food was amazing. Best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time. Amazing crispy potatoes, rich gravy and perfect crackling. Couldn’t fault it. Credit to the chefs for putting together such a delicious meal full of flavour, a lot of pride taken in the presentation and service by all the staff. Highly recommend.

We booked Sunday lunch at the Aperfield Inn for me, my wife and my parents. We were served by Jessica who was super friendly and really made us feel welcome. On top of the great food, the great service made our meal particularly special. There was a great atmosphere and it was clear that everybody was enjoying their experience as much as we were. Weve had a wonderful afternoon out today with extended family.weve enjoyed light bites and shared dishes, all good flavours . It was busy...but not noisy, a lovely gentle atmosphere, no need to rush around, all of the staff happy to please in order to make your visit a perfect one. Dogs with their owners dotted around all behaved to perfection. Thank you all .

a visit early in the week , and the pub and restaurant were very quiet the restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a nice atmosphere our waitress for the evening was excellent and very attentive the food unfortunately didn't really live up to expectations, nothing particularly wrong but somewhat uninspiring and quite small portions , overall though a nice place

Just had a great evening, 10 of us pre ordered, met for drinks in the bar. Shown to our table for the starters to arrive and tasty main meals. Great service throughout and throughly recommend.

Had a lovely meal with my family, Vic was a great waitress with great understanding of my dairy allergy. Food was delicious- really enjoyed the Chicken penang curry and my son enjoyed the sausages.

Visited on Sunday 16th February ,not happy that my husband was served his tomato soup in a chipped bowl,my chips went cold very quickly and we waited between 30 to 40 minutes for desserts.We have visited many times,but this visit wasn't as good and it seemed quite expensive from our last visit.Would recommend usually, but will be leaving it a while before we visit again,which is ashame as the orange chocolate dome dessert was lovely and also the staff warm ,welcoming and friendly.

Met with some relatives for lunch. Chose the pub 'blindly' based more on location but we certainly struck lucky. Really nice dining area, exceptional staff, fantastic food. Nothing to fault. We were never rushed as we sat chatting. Top marks all round, thank you. Compliments to the chef too!

Popped in for lunch - just solo - and was made to feel very welcome - there is a 50% off voucher that was e mailed through and I used that in the fish n chips ! Superb food and very nice triple cooked chips !

We just had Sunday lunch at this pub and it was so lovely! All staff are on top of their game, informing us about everything, checking up on us, and answering any questions we had. Melody and Vic were serving us and we just so lovely! I also noticed at the start of our visit how lovely and on top of everything the manageress is. We had starters, mains, desserts and 2 bottles of wine. Very reasonable prices and all the dishes were absolutely stunning! For once we werent rushed at all between courses and were able to just relax and enjoy our afternoon.

Stopped by on our way home from a football match. Staff were lovely and found us a table, despite it being the end of the busy Sunday Lunch period, so we could enjoy a tasty meal. Service was excellent and very efficient and food was great. We will be coming again.

Nice pub but its more like a youth club at night very bad for families trying to have a relaxing meal with kids hanging round the front door in groups looking through windows at you grow some christmas balls and bar some of the wrongengs spoils the lovey pub

We had a lovely 3 course Festive Menu , to celebrate our recent retirement with the family. Pate, fish and profiteroles all delicious. Service was excellent. Would recommend.

I visited on Dec 20th with two guests. The steak and venison pie was delicious and my sister really enjoyed her cocktails. My mums potatoes were not cooked right but other than that the staff were great , the decor looks wonderful and I will return. Sorry my grumpy mother posted moaning about the ice and potatoes... we will leave her at home in future . Merry Christmas to you all

Fish was okay but new potatoes were really hard ,sent them back the 2nd portion came back exactly the same so didn't want anymore very disappointing,my sons drink had so much ice in it could not taste the actual drink ,the ladies were really nice , but food not good

Victoria was our server and Tom served us at the bar for drinks and when we paid. It was such a lovely experience. The food was so nice and we didn't have to wait long at all, even between courses. Victoria was very accommodating and friendly and so was Tom. I would definitely come back. Great value for money, a cosy aesthetic and a warm atmosphere.

First time visit, went for a lunch with friends. Had asked for a quiet area when booked online, taken to a table away from every one else, perfect. Drinks order taken shortly after arriving promptly. We all ordered different meals, arrived together and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food. Whilst it's a 40min drive we will definitely return as found everything really nice, the two waitress were helpful and friendly. Returned and thoroughly enjoyed it. Met by Tom with a smile, had a drink before sitting down for a meal. The four of us all had something different and there were 4 empty plates. The two ladies both had a mini pudding with a drink. Victoria who looked after us was a joy, always happy to talk if time allowed, was always smiling and happy, lovely person.

It’s like what comes first in here the chicken or the egg. Neither it seems as we were told at quarter to ten on a Saturday night our custom is not wanted welcome or warranted as the 4 of us were not spending enough to stay beyond 10pm. even though we bought 2 rounds at nearly 30 quid each round. Website says shuts at 11. So back to The chicken or the egg comparison how do you expect to attract customers when you treat them with such contempt and lack of welcome. So this chicken will buy his eggs elsewhere in future. Aperfield not Inn on a Saturday night.

Don’t bother going on a Saturday night as opening hours show closing at 11pm on a Saturday only to be told at 9.45 after buying our drinks 10 mins before….that as there are not enough people there they are closing early! Great customer service…….NOT. I wonder why not a lot of people drink here!

Absolutely amazing food! Came here with my young daughter and Auntie and had such a wonderful meal - I would recommend the yummy gammon, egg and chips! My little one had the children's pasta and my auntie had the seabass, both also delicious! I would like to make a special to the staff lovely female staff who looked after us. They were so attentive and kind - great customer service thank you! I had never been to this pub before and I really enjoyed it, there is such a country, warm and welcoming feel to the place! Visited for a mid-week meal with my father. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was very tasty. Scored 10/10 by my father - Hunters chicken, his favourite!! Special mention to our waiter, Tom, he’s absolutely wonderful - kind, friendly and happy to talk. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Came here quite by accident having been sent on a wild goose chase by M25 closure. Efficient, cheery service and good food, perhaps slightly pricey for what it was. Ample parking. I ate in what was essentially a fancy conservatory which didn't feel very "pub". But it served my needs.

Lovely lunch. Sea bass was tasty. Nice atmosphere, plenty of room, not hemmed in. Not too noisy. Waitress was friendly and informative and even popped a candle in the birthday boys dessert, nice touch. Cant wait to return.

Lovely food the chef Harry cooked an amazing burger and the service carried out by mollie was on point. Lovely place would definitely recommend.
