Mustard in Bromley

Have been a few times .. getting longer to wait each time .. there is 1 woman that only works trying to make 1000 sandwich a day lol.. shame, was a good stop

First experience today at mustard and I had the beef brisket with horseradish, slaw, gherkin and onion. It was THE BEST sandwich I’ve ever had, EVER. Unreal. I see why it’s got such a good reputation.

Been here a few times now and whilst the food is ok, I don't think the price of it is justified. The prices on the menu in the window also don't match what I was actually charged, only 25p more than stated but it's basic to make sure your menu prices are up to date! The customer service isn't amazing either, whilst I wouldn't go so far as to say the staff are rude, there are no customer service skills, no apologies for long wait times (the service is very slow) a lot of sighing and a general dower demeanor, haven't seen anyone crack a smile in there! Personally, the food on offer and the atmosphere just doesn't justify the cost.

These sandwiches are another level, absolutely delicious, 10/10

This is the best sandwich I've ever had! So much so I couldn't wait to get home, I had to park my car to eat it and leave this review! I haven't even finished eating yet! The fresh bread, the generous fillings, the massive sandwich bursting with flavour in general felt like something my grandma would make and really did put a smile on my face. Oh and the crispy onions - delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you!

Salad boxes are a must try! Fresh tasting salad and the meat is always cooked to perfection. Would recommend pre-orders as the local community recognise how great the food is and so this can cause waiting times. Excellent meal as always.

Tried our first sandwichs today totally delicious. Really tasty Gammon honey mustard gherkin and crispy onions, and my other half had beef horseradish gherkins and crispy onions. Well worth the wait. 10/10 excellent.

Freshly cooked amazingly tasty meat based food. Very much recommend. Only down side is as everything is made to order it can be a bit slow but it's worth it for the tasty food and best sausage rolls ever.

Be prepared to wait for 25-30 mins for a Sandwich. They are good 👍 if you can wait . Too small place requires more and dynamic staff.

Best sandwiches in the area and very nice staff. The shop is small so can get crowded when busy but if you call up before visiting, then you can be in and out very quickly. I’d definitely recommend visiting

So glad I found this establishment! Definitely worth a review. Working close by, went in for a latte and ended up going back for another - outstanding coffee. On the second visit I had a gammon & maple syrup sausage roll - absolutely divine! If I had Mustard on my doorstep, I would be skint everyday (😂) let me tell you! Fantastic!

Awesome sandwiches, funny little shop, would recommend the jerk sandwich specifically but everything I’ve tried has been good. They also sell root beer which is rare.

Mustard is a place that sells Great food. So if you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit you won't be disappointed. The people that work here are courteous and polite, they will get you whatever you order in a timely fashion.

Found Mustard by chance, OMG it's so good, it's become a Friday treat for the whole work place, we are all hooked and it's all we think about all morning. The beef brisket with horseradish has become our favorite. The sandwich is so big we all have half each. Every taste bud is catered for. They are a little pricey but worth every penny. There is always a queue so pre order.

Wow, you have to try this place, it was recommended to me about a year ago, why did I wait a year! Although you order a sandwich you get a meal! It is a bit like those American specialist dinners, the food is full of taste, well made and even fun to watch being made.. Great variety, there was three of so we ordered Crispy pork belly with stuffing and crispy onions, turkey and then beef, all were above expectations... Will return...

I had the Smoking Mexican sandwich which was absolutely outstanding. Really tasty, in fact the first thing I have really tasted since getting covid 4 weeks ago. I really recommend this place a true gem. The staff are good. If a little hard of hearing !!

People queued out the door for their lunch which leads to long waits. Really tasty and worth the wait. Personally I'd be looking to improve efficiency to make more sandwiches quicker, but it is a balancing act.

What an unexpected delight! Not my area but found by accident and what a great find. Hot meat sandwich and salads, plied sky high with salads, pickles, choice of mustards - of course - and topped with mounds of crispy fried onions. I had a salad box with braised brisket, salad, heaps of red slaw, hot sweet potato mash, pickles and the fantastic crispy onions. Mouth watering yet?

Excellent little gem of a place. I had the pork,apple sauce and onion and stuffing sandwich and was really really good it is very filling and they do other fillings that are equally as good. Parking is a bit of a nitemare but i was lucky as found a space. Gets very busy.

Amazing food and worth the price. I had a brisket sandwich with a smear of sweet potato mash and packed with crispy fried onions in thick soft bread. I had the hotdog aswell but the bun let it down its not a proper hotdog bun its that sweet tasting bread you get on holiday.

It doesn't get any better than this... I promise you. Roast Pork sandwich is on a different level.

This was my very first visit, reccomended to me by my son. Now for what i had to eat, "WOW" had the small salad box with beef, which was cooked to perfection, there was a variety of salad, really tasty and well presented, even the flat white coffee was amongst the best i've had. Would totally reccomend, and most certainly will be visiting again, very soon.

This is Man Vs Food style Beef brisket.. pulled Pork, Jerk Chicken Gammon heaven. Uncut bread sandwiches or take a Salad box with a choice of the home cooked meats. Honestly get yourself along and experience it for yourselves.!! You will regret it, but only because you will keep going back for more and your scales will not thank you for it!! Enjoy this unique little Gem...

Nicola runs this establishment and slept with my partner 9 months ago. She lives in the house that she can’t afford, drives a discovery that she can’t afford, and borrowed money from my partner. they go back a long way and she borrowed money from him. None of which has been paid back.Neither of them are off the hook don’t get me wrong, but after a series of drunken messages from Nicola last night confessing her misdemeanor, it’s clear that she has no morals. Be careful what you ask for in a sandwich.

Nicola’s sandwiches and sausage rolls are second to none! I couldn’t enjoy a sausage roll from anywhere else now. The sandwiches are filled to bursting with delicious meats, Nicola’s fab homemade coleslaw, crispy onions or whatever tasty sides are on the menu for the day! The salad boxes are to die for, for those counting the calories. Everything at Mustard is cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are generous - you definitely get more than you pay for. Highly recommend this place. (Am salivating at the mere thought of the sandwiches!)

Blinding jerk chicken doorstop sandwich fully loaded today it was my first visit well put together with a lovely cuppa you can go wrong not expensive for what your getting..

I love the food from mustard, everything is great! Would definitely be 5* but the hygiene is awful. The lady serving never washes her hands or wears gloves, takes dirty money, doesn’t wear her hair up so touches her hair by tucking it behind her ear, the lady in the back wears gloves but comes and takes money but doesn’t change her gloves. Do they even wash her hands when they go to the toilet? Makes my stomach turn! Also occasionally see a dog in there. Such a shame as food is so good!

I stumbled open this place looking for lunch and am so glad I did! £8.50 for a large salad box with so much flavour and good portions so worth it! Real fresh home cooked food not some grubby petrol station munch that easily costs the same, next time I’m in Bromley I’ll be going back for sure!

I'm giving them a three rating because luckily enough their food is unreal. If it wasn't for the food I wouldn't go back. Opening time is 9am but they don't have food to sell until 10. So they either need to get in earlier... or just open later. The woman who makes the sandwiches needs a lesson in smiling. Went a couple of months ago and heard the owner moaning about how high rent is and how they struggle to pay it.They close at 3pm and run out of food at 1.30pm. So from 9-3 is 6 hours of trading...But they only really trade between 10 and 1.30. So effectively they only actually sell their main product for 3 and a half hours... No wonder you struggle to pay rent.

El bocadillo más increíbles que he comido.

Sin embargo, llevar barbacoa deliciosa la consistencia de la comida siempre es una lotería. Puede ser suave Pollo Jerk o increíblemente caliente. No sé si la misma persona que lo hace.£5 + silenciosos podría parecer excesivo pero los bocadillos son muy abundantes.El café es normal, pequeño y demasiado caro.Se llena a la hora del almuerzo.

Ordered a Mocha, received a horrible bitter coffee with a chocolate powder sprinkled on top... This is not a Mocha. The coffee itself was awful. Had to be thrown. £2.50 wasted.

He visitado mostaza varias veces durante el año pasado y siempre me ha encantado con la comida y el servicio. Son bocadillos calientes no son tan barato £5 pero se obtiene lo que se paga. la calidad de sus ingredientes y un bocadillo funciones. No sé si tienen un día pero mi sandwich hoy podría competir con algo que puedes recoger de una gasolinera. finas piezas de pan, una delgada pedazo de carne y un frotis de condimento, no es lo que me esperaba.Espero que sea sólo un día y no es una medida de seguridad impuestas para acortarla a fin de hacer más dinero, se pierde más clientes ese camino. Voy a darles una oportunidad ...

The pulled pork is very good and the Jerk Chicken is good too. Great just to stop when passing on a Saturday when you're in a rush.

This seems to be a fairly popular cafe and the 'quick' food and drinks seem popular but the service was terrible. Very slow, not a shortage of staff but they did not acknowlege you and seemed to be quite content to leave you waiting.Did not eat but drinks were fine, we we eventually received them!

Encontramos este pequeño café-sandwich smart recientemente y quedé muy impresionado. El menú es bastante pequeño con desayuno tradicional, sándwiches tostados y el más delicioso asado caliente sándwiches de carne en el menú. Tuve la pechuga de ternera con col casera que era absolutamente delicioso. Mi pareja tuvo la carne de sal y dijo que era uno de los mejores que he tenido. Entiendo que la carne es localmente originario de una carnicería de alta calidad y esto muestra a través de los sándwiches. Los sándwiches recién preparados a pedido y se puede llevar o comer. Las tartas caseras y sabor como recuerdo de mi madre. En general, un excelente hallazgo que merece hacer bien

Recientemente visité mostaza por primera vez y, desde entonces, he vuelto varias veces. Los sándwiches calientes de carne son excelentes, con una generosa cantidad de abundante que puede ser adaptado para satisfacer lo cual es un cambio agradable de los rellenos típicos de estereotipos ampliamente disponible en otro lugar. Los desayunos son también muy buenas, con ingredientes de calidad. Los pasteles son, en general, casera y realmente se demuestra que son siempre delicioso. De especial importancia es el limón llovizna. Creo que la comida en general representa una buena relación calidad-precio, especialmente teniendo en cuenta los productos de alta calidad.

Visitamos mostaza por primera vez ya que la renovación en el fin de semana y fue una experiencia fantástica. El café y el desayuno roll era la mejor cura de resaca y el personal no podía hacer más por ti. Especialmente Charlie ... sin duda volveremos en el futuro.

I Visited mustard yesterday the food was fresh and utterly delicious! The staff where friendly and bent over backwards to ensure your experience was the best it could be, I will be going back and introducing friends to mustard!

If you are in a hurry, do not go here. just popping in to get a sandwich will take 15-20 minutes with no other customers in there awaiting to be served. :( staff usually slow and confused as to what they are doing. the young chef used to work for Gordon Ramsey, and believes that is though for customer satisfaction and service, where time, value for money and politeness is a lot more important to keep returning custom. There are a lot more cafe / sandwich bars locally with a lot more customer service and better food on offer.
