Ordered food a week ago and it was lovely so went to order again tonight. Not sure what happened but food was burnt, overcooked, soggy chips due to steak sitting on top, Definitely not appealing. We never recieved our drinks that we ordered, Definitely will not be ordering from them again.

Have to say — the microwaved food is really NOT what I want for a lunchtime treat

Really nice pub with nice atmosphere. The staff were also very friendly and there's a lovely outside seating area as well as a decent sized car park.

Large beer garden out the back, perfect for a pint in the sunshine. Free parking for customers

Decent pub. But was there for less than an hour, and have been slapped with a parking ticket. Drove in, parked up, walked round the front to meet a group, drink bought, consumed, drove home. Parking ticket of £60 if paid immediately. Will NOT be visiting again. Signs not obvious at all, especially as was chaos in the car park. Typical Euro Car Park. Avoid like the plague.

Good quiz on Thursday night, great value food. Sadly mash was very dry. So was the two steaks we ordered. Gammon and eggs were nice. Lasagne only had one strip of pasta in it and was watery. All said not bad for the money.

We ordered 3 roast beers plus 3 sides, very nice, especially the beef on the bone. However, REAL roast potatoes would be nice,rather than frozen deep fried ones. Also with the 3 side dishes, one was roast potatoes and gravy, unfortunately the potatoes were served IN a bowl of gravy so completely soggy.

Food was delicious and the service was amazing especially from Melissa, she went above and beyond, made sure we had everything we needed, when we went up to the bar she remembered the order. She was very polite and friendly.

I ordered one of the cheapest meals + coke from the app. 20 mins later I still didn't have my drink (the pub was pretty empty). I've been there a few times and I would say 1/3 times they forget your order and need to be reminded. Anyway now also with these prices (about £16.50 for hallumi + coke) it just is not worth it anymore and won't be visiting again. The menu prices decided what I will eat so that I keep it below £20.

I was there for a wake and the buffet served was great fresh food wide choice . If all the food served there is to this standard you are on to a winner! Some of the staff need to smile and be more welcoming 🙏 to customers

Richard the general manager has really looked after us today keeping us hydrated and making sure we were ok and wanting for nothing as we were working outside in the sun all day. All staff here treat us really well and with respect.

Met friends here on a Thursday lunchtime. The pub was very empty so there was no atmosphere. Typical pub grub but delivered quickly. Plentiful and tasty. Friendly staff. Lovely big pub garden overlooking pond - woild be nice on a sunny day Be aware, car park at rear is small and accessed by narrow drive between pub and next door building.

Our food took an hour to be served on a fairly quiet midweek lunchtime. Our drinks order didn't come until we reminded the waiter. When it finally arrived, the food was average at best. This is a shame because the pub itself is actually okay. This might be a one-off, but I don't think I'll be visiting here again in the future.

A nice pub with good food at decent prices. The drinks were good value too...especially when compared to the Bull's Head up the road...that place is a rip-off. If you're in the area, hungry and thirsty I'd recommend The Queen's Head

Always a go-to tavern after work with my colleagues, great in the summer and with the addition of the fireplace, always cosy In the winter. The live music nights are always enjoyable, The staff work extra hard and are always super polite, respectful, and down to earth.

The Queen's Head is located in the middle of Chistlehurst it a very large pub and Restaurant it serves a good variety of food and alcoholic and soft drinks it's very family orientated.. for all ages and the outdoor seating area is wonderful and spacious the staff are very friendly and helpful

Thank you for reply but this won’t work you telling the kitchen staff. As they are governed by ember inns and they tell you what you have to use not cooking fresh food just aunt Bessie’s. Your new menu on 24th we will try but I don’t have much faith in it as it is the brewery that call the shots it isn’t your fault but when you have a nesting with Ember show them my review. But it won’t stop us from coming into your really nice pub for a drink we will eat at home before or after . **************Fantastic pub great staff good service. The only let down was Sunday roast aunt Bessie’s roast potatoes frozen miniature Yorkshire puds the frozen slow cooked rib of beef was great. My partner had a cheeseburger and chips but the chips were rubbish frozen aunt bessey ones. Would have been 5 stars 100 percent if all freshly cooke like greasy roast potatoes

The queen's head is a lovely place to have a drink and a bite to eat at due to the wonderful staff and food. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is in the area and doesn't want anything to fancy.

From the moment we arrived at the pub we was meet by a very rude mannered man. He was first outside saying we had apparently taken over his whole carpark. Which wasn't true the carpark was already full when we arrived. Only three friends managed to actually park in the pub carpark. The rest of us went and park elsewhere and walked to the pub. The manager didn't behave in a kind manner he was rude when my friends card was declined. Even a staff member tried to speak up for my friend. Telling his manager that it was the terminals fault card went through in the end. Manager stayed angry tense in his manner never said sorry to my friend. You could see in his staffs faces that they was shocked in there managers behaviour. They looked scared of this man which creates a horrible work place for them. The customer can feel this managers treatment of his staff is shocking. This manager should not be serving people I will be writing to head office. As this manager did other things gave his own personal opinion. When not asked we was all made to feel not welcome from the get go. Not a nice pub not a nice atmosphere we was made to feel uncomfortable. The wholetime we was there I've worked in customer services for 25 years. A role of a management is to great customer make them feel welcome. This manager needs to be fired A.s.a.p I've never meet such a horrible manager before. I will be pushing this further as the discrimination this man showed towards me and my small party of friends was shocking.

So whist we live in Chislehurst and have done for 19 years, this pub has never been a fave for many reasons. Historically it’s attracted, not the best crowd (Mottingham locals maybe) - but clientele aside, it’s been littered with kitchen issues, a lack of real ale choices, and super slow service. However, there have been some welcome improvement. The outside area looks cute with all the lights and varying seats, and the menu isn’t bad. We had a Curry (very nice and with Nan) and my husband had Gammon Egg & Chips. Quite tasty, especially for the price. Even better are the deals that they do on a Friday, £15 a bottle of Prosecco when you sign up with the app, happy days! One point that made me smile however, is there is now an area to the far left on entering, that is No Dog Zone. This is a pub, can I just ask why there is not a No Kid Zone? I’m more than happy with dogs, but kids crying and running round - I’d visit more if they had a zone for those. Finally I was trying to take a picture of the bubbles & food, so I could share the love on here and instagram maybe, only for a member of staff (who was having a break to eat), quite frankly take the piss by saying v loud how he hates people taking pictures! Great service from the bartender young man ( unfortunately he’s a Chelsea fan) who does the evening shifts on Monday after we finish footy . Really friendly customers and lovely Pub with good vibes , easy parking and well poured pints. It’s becoming a regular venue for us.

I often visit for a lunch , the food is amazing and service is friendly and attentive .visited on a Thursday night which was quiz night and had a wonderful time . The atmosphere was very friendly and everyone interacted with eachother through laughter etc . Which is rare nowdays . Credit to management who encouraged a fantastic atmosphere . A crowd of us had gone to another pub in the area first, but because of waiting far too long to be served and a bunch of unhappy faces, we went to The Queens Head. What a fantastic difference!! Happy smiling bar staff, welcoming bar staff, happy welcoming atmosphere, plenty of seating, good choice of drinks, families welcome, great food, everybody was happy and enjoying a wonderful pub. Big massive thanks to all the competent bar staff for making our afternoon great because you served us quickly, efficiently and with a nice smile. Richard was a tremendous breath of fresh air too - never met such a helpful and happy manager. Nothing was too much for him. He was never stressed or agitated by the crowds, in fact it looked like he was enjoying the buzz of the packed bar. We will definitely be back with all the family again. I really hope that this is the norm and Richard and his delightful staff stay as they were today. Thank you guys for a truly nice afternoon. Sorry we had to leave before the DJ played but had to get our 94 year old mother home. Will be back for a boogey very soon.

We visit the queen's head quite regularly but are disappointed when the right beers are not available. We are a older generation who like our beers especially Dombar and Harvey's but more often than not these beers are not available because you run out and put other beers which we don't like. We would like to have Doobar and Harvey's available all the time.

Very friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Much better management. Very happy the children can stay till 9 not 7 woo hoo we can eat later than 5.30
