The best restaurants serving British food in London

Ordered a bacon sandwich which should come with 3 slices of bacon but only came with 2 . Asked for the extra slice and was given a replacement with 2.5 slices of bacon when I returned this one was basically told it left the kitchen with 3 slices and insinuated I'd eaten half a slice 😅 please teach your staff better customer service and how to count

I asked for a sandwich the guy who served asked if I wanted bacon and cheese i said yes he gave it to me wrapped up when I got in the car it was the end of the bread! back bread! I’ve never been served a sandwich like that it was dry and awful! it wasn’t bacon it was ham! I felt conned to be honest it wasn’t that much money but it’s not the point

The meal deal was very good value. £4.80 for a cheese toastie, eclair and latte coffer. Nice atmosphere. Just have to wait a long time for food as cafe so busy.

Repeating our accommodation experience, the product was good, let down by poor management & staff. Sausages, bacon and croissants were fantastic. But we had to wait for seating, tables to be cleaned and there were no mugs/cups for self serve tea/coffee

2 de 5 muy lento no limpio. No hay suficiente personal y fuera de las mesas siempre sucio y parece muy anticuado no acogedor. Este lugar tiene potencial pero no la forma en que es necesita mejora en muchos sentidos

Reservamos una mesa para 7 sin ningún conocimiento previo del restaurante. Simplemente pasó y el menú en la ventana parecía atractivo. ¡Que hermoso lugar! La comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Excelentes entrantes: mini pudines de Yorkshire con rodajas de rosbif y deliciosos pasteles de cangrejo. Luego teníamos todo, desde el pastel de pescado y el pastel de pastor hasta una hamburguesa. Terminado con crumble de manzana y una mini bagatela excelente. El personal no podría haber sido mejor. Los platos principales tenían alrededor de 11 o 12 libras. Estamos todos aquí por tres meses y puedo ver que este lugar será un firme favorito.

An odd experience. The store presents itself as a coffee shop with baristas and pastries in the window and multiple empty tables outside. Running 10 minutes early for a nearby appointment , I entered and tried to buy a cappuccino and was told that it's takeaway only from the counter, the tables are table service only and that they couldn't take order at the counter. Waiter was friendly enough but ordering and asking for bill etc added 15 minutes to the process. Coffee nice, £5.06 for a small mug including service charge.

Experiencia absolutamente impactante. En apariencia parecía que había colas distintas formadas en cada caja, con cada miembro del personal sirviendo a los clientes en la cola frente a ellos. Sin embargo, después de esperar mi turno y llegar al frente de la cola. La funcionaria decidió comenzar a servir otra cola que ya estaba siendo atendida. Al ser interrogada, declaró que era un bar y no una cola a pesar de que solo servía su cola designada. Una mentira obvia y su forma de actuar su discriminación y prejuicios a voluntad. No es agradable cuando las personas pueden caracterizar a otros por sus propios criterios prejuiciosos cuando están en un rol de servicio al cliente. Muy pobre y nunca volverá a mostrar clientelismo a ese establecimiento!

Mi amigo y yo vinimos a tomar una copa y tal vez un almuerzo tardío para comer. Cuando la camarera se acercó al final para despejar nuestra mesa y preguntó cómo estaba todo yo estaba como "Meh! Ni bien, ni mal". No quería decir nada específico, pero mi amigo dijo que en lugar de ser negativo debería haberles dado comentarios sobre por qué me sentía así. Solíamos ser dueños de un restaurante y nos hubiera gustado saber los comentarios de los clientes, así que aquí está... Donde estábamos sentados había vidrios rotos y servilletas sucias en el suelo desde el día anterior, así que obviamente no se limpió correctamente. Fui al baño para discapacitados y el piso estaba cubierto con orina y papel higiénico, de nuevo no limpiado desde el día anterior. Mi rosado llegó caliente, no frío y nadie me trajo mi cambio. Mi hamburguesa llegó caliente, no caliente y completamente sin sabor. Cuando fui a pagar la factura, el servicio se agregó automáticamente sin que me lo dijeran en la caja. He vivido en la localidad durante 40 años y quería que este fuera mi nuevo pub 'go to', pero basado en esta experiencia no voy a volver. Nota para los propietarios: por favor no dejes que la complacencia anule tu ubicación

Este es un espacio increíblemente grande (aunque una vez que creo que la iglesia encima, es bastante obvio que se puede meter un café y un restaurante de aquí).

Very nice, atmospheric restaurant in St Catherine's dock. multistorey, nice pub but in the 1st and 2nd floor you can have proper, nice food as well. there is also a small garden. Ideal location

Terrible, realmente terrible. Menos es más en este caso. Lento, hay que rogar por el servicio, cero eficiencia y ningún deseo de hacerlo mejor.

Dårlig kvalitet og gamle og tørre kaker. Elendig drift og uhyggelige ansatte. Vi ble veldig skuffet, og skal ikke tilbake hit.

Absolute rubbish, got a table no bother, then to be told no bread buns on the salad bar.Ordered our food, to be told they had ran out of ketchup!Came back to our table to say, no fish fingers for kids meal, said ok, we will order the pasta instead, to be told.....no pasta either!Promptly left and went to 5 guys!

Gammon and beef succulent vegetables nicely cooked but roast potatoes were not nice seams like they had been ready for hours. Nice gravy and fab Yorkshires. Only criticism is that food wasn’t very warm.
