Very nice, atmospheric restaurant in St Catherine's dock. multistorey, nice pub but in the 1st and 2nd floor you can have proper, nice food as well. there is also a small garden. Ideal location

He estado en este pub por primera vez a principios de marzo y nos quedamos muy contentos. El propietario (Andrew creo) era que sirve detrás del bar y no podría ser más amable! Sabe que su personal cuando se trata de cervezas ale, etc. También comimos aquí que era muy sabroso y no es caro (salchichas y puré chuparse dejaron mis labios). Tuvimos una noche realmente precioso y no puedo esperar a volver la próxima im de tiempo en Londres aunque creo que el pub está cerrando por unos pocos meses para las reformas. No puedo esperar a ver lo que hacen!

This has to be the most disgusting pub in London. I wouldn't put a dog in the ladies loos. Sort it out landlord!

Not the best décor and very average food but a good atmosphere and good real ale. The staff were friendly and helpful offering a sample of beer to help you choose. A community pub that doesn't pretend to be up market.

on a small back street in bankside. Small local pub with maybe a dozen tables. great food smells and ale selection. You can't go wrong with a stop here for food or drink.

Pub padrão em Londres. O Fish N' Chips não é barato mas é maior do que a maioria dos lugares. O ambiente também não é muito fora do comum, bastante normal.

The food was excellent, but the bathrooms were extremely dirty and needed maintenance-both the ladies and men's rooms. Loved the atmosphere and photos of Charles Dickens related memorabilia.

Aunque este pub está situado cerca de la zona de Bankside por el río Támesis, este pub es alejada de las trampas turísticas a orillas del río. Cuando visité el ambiente era relajado y parecía ser frecuentado por gente de la zona de los alrededores a juzgar por las conversaciones que oí. 6 cerveza de tonel y una auténtica sidra estaban disponibles, en su mayoría de pequeñas cervecerías. También hay un menú a un precio razonable de comida que ofrece grub estándar y discontinuas de pub. Mi flan grande de Yorkshire, lleno de tres salchichas artesanas, verduras frescas, patatas y salsa puré era abundante y excelente relación calidad-precio de alrededor de £7.00 . Hay muchos asientos y una zona para sentarse al aire libre en la parte trasera. Hay avisos y folletos de la comunidad disponibles en el pub. Los baños están en la misma planta. Un descubrimiento por mi parte y volveré a este pub pronto.

I like this pub as it's unpretentious, has character and it's usually easy to get a seat unlike other pubs near Waterloo. It also has a small garden at the back (although it's a bit bare- could do with some greenery).

Nice pub, welcoming, calm, great food. Been here several times with family and friends over the summer. It always seems to be pretty busy but somehow calm, never rowdy or crowded etc, so whether you're out with mates, meeting an old friend or on a family weekend in London, it seems to be a welcoming and charming little 'one-size-fits-all' watering hole. The food is definitely good and at very decent prices for London

A group of five of us went there prior to heading to the Southwark Playhouse. The beer was good and staff were friendly. Until it came to the food. We ordered with plenty of time to go. However, after about 35 minutes the food still hadn't come out, one of the party had to go and 'self serve' as the staff seemed to be chasing their tails. Note the pub was not busy. The fifth person in our group still hadn't had his food when he went to ask about it, he was told. I didn't realise you were in that group (despite us saying so when we ordered) and the microwave was 'playing up'. When the staff member finally brought the food out he threw the plate down on the table. No apology. When we were leaving someone in our group was told we should have told the kitchen we were in a hurry. And you 'cant hurry the chef'.I don't think waiting 35-40 minutes on a not busy Saturday early evening warranted being told this. I will not be going back there, neither will I be encouraging any of my friends to go there either.

Niente di eccezionale, ma se cercate un locale dove sedervi, mettervi comodi e magari guardare una partita di Premier, questo è quello giusto. Rapporto qualità/prezzo tutto sommato onesto.

We went here for a quick work lunch. My partner ordered chilli and chips and I ordered a steak pie and mash. 30 mins later I got a horrible carrot casserole with a burnt pie lid served with chips, peas and one piece of broccoli. My partner got cheesy spicy chips 10 mins later. All served with watered down flat coke. No one asked if our food was ok and we left.

Found this pub via the CamRA app on my phone and the choice of beer was very good. The staff were less sure on wine and didn't have several of their listed options. We didn't eat though did see a very impressive pie going to another patron.Beer was well kept but staff didn't seem to know too much about it unlike most real ale places. Atmosphere was friendly, a real old fashioned boozer. Pleasingly the volume wasn't up on the now standard TV showing football.
