I asked for a sandwich the guy who served asked if I wanted bacon and cheese i said yes he gave it to me wrapped up when I got in the car it was the end of the bread! back bread! I’ve never been served a sandwich like that it was dry and awful! it wasn’t bacon it was ham! I felt conned to be honest it wasn’t that much money but it’s not the point

Terrible. This is the word. I just ordered 2 BURGERs not half of it. I received a bun and meat,both of them was same. That's all. And the food, dosen't have a taste at all.

I’ve had a few burgers from here in the past and always been decent Came here tonight , was worse burger and chips I’ve ever had and not cheap either The portion of chips had about a dozen part cooked chips and the burger was as dry as a bone Won’t be going here again

We come here for many years to relax and eat very nice food. Before we used to live in Leyton and at least 4 times a week me and my family used to come and buy food- freshly cooked , always open! Very clean and perfect for our children as well. Four years ago we moved to West London, and at least once a week we come just to enjoy the delights that they cook! I would highly recommend!

I came here with my wife to grab two quarter pounder burgers with onion and mushrooms alongside some chips while walking around the pond. Both were very tasty and tender and left us very satisfied. You can't ask for anything else for those prices. Definitely, we are planning to come over more often. The lady that serves the food is very friendly.

Following a recent visit to Hollow ponds with my family for a dog walk, we happened upon the 'LogCabin' as we were about to leave. Feeling particularly hungry we decided to order a hamburger each from their extensive menu board. Modesty should have prevailed, but I'm afraid to say the lure of their 'Gut Buster' hamburger was too much to resist and both my daughter and I ordered one each! The lady who served us was extremely pleasant and provided us with fresh coffee and plenty of napkins, which were much appreciated. My wife was less ambitious, but was nonetheless extremely happy with her choice from the menu. So, if you're feeling hungry and fancy a challenge it's well worth a visit to this five star rated eating establishment!

For nearly thirty years I've been in east London as a tourist and foreigner. My great joy during that time was walking cycling or running ( not!) with my dogs, spending hours on the flats with great freedom and joy. Now that atmosphere gives you an appetite from hell that you can eat the side of a house but where can you get filled with decent proper food and lots of it ? Enter the Cabin. I've used this sanctuary at all hours of day or night drunk and sober ( off the night bus!) but wow Never never never disappointed by the Cabin. I normally have the French stick with bacon , egg and mushrooms ...... There will not be "much room" ( cone on , good one !) after it I guarantee but the flavour is beautiful and wholesome. Clean and not very nice nothing more nothing less just proper good food. Could not recommend higher.

If whilst walking around the small lakes you fancy a plate of cheesey chips look no further. Very friendly service in a semi rural setting.

As ever I don't expect much from these places but I do expect edible! Sausage was grey, bacon was tasteless and the chips were barley defrosted let alone cooked! Resident crack head outside making conversation with anyone who was unfortunate enough to make eye contact. Unwashed staff doesn't help either. Avoid unless starving!

Although this place is open 24 hours it really isn't cheap, for an upgraded roadside caravan-style greasy spoon! The bangers and burgers taste like Icelands' super economy, meat-free, guaranteed non-habit-forming, slide off your tongue specials, from their extra cholesterol, Obsesity Range. Also, Poundland, 10000 for a quid, tea bags in expanded polystyrene cups, made with hot, not boiling water, milk added at outset, is an absolute delicacy! LOL

A very greasy spoon! Quite over price with a limited menu, and grumpy staff! Hit and miss opening times. Would only ever visit when walking my dog over Hollow Ponds!

First visit to the log cabin in approx. 1 year and very disappointed. Not that we were expecting a gourmet experience but the chips there used to be fantastic about a year ago. Really crisp, full of flavour and fluffy inside. Kids treat on a Friday night after getting off the W12 and walking home. As somewhere very local to me and having just travelled 2 hours around the M25, this was a quick stop tea the kids were looking forward to. Burger was very pleasant but chips were sadly lacking. Barely cooked, pale and limp as a soggy kipper! Salt and vinegar and ketchup couldn't even rescue them. Steak baguette was a bit on the basic side and really chewy. I'd have asked for a few fried onions if I knew they weren't included as you might expect. Real shame as won't be going there again in a hurry.
